GOD’S RIGHOUSNESS PRODUCES QUIETNESS
Lets go to the Scripture “Behold the day cometh said the Lord that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt which my covenant they break although I was a husband unto them saith the Lord.
But this shall be the covenant I will make with the house of Israel. After those days saith the Lord, I will put my law in their heart and will be their God and they shall be my people.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother saying know the Lord for they shall all know me from the least of them unto the greatest of them saith the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more”Jer.31:33-34. KJV.
Let us turn to the message “ASSURANCE OF SALVATION preached on the 7th march 1999 at the Household of God Onitsha by Apostle peter Odoemena the son of man” Page 31 verses 29 – 52,
William Brenham said, and another message said, “Is your life worthy of the Gospel?” he repeated the same statement in these two sermons.
He said, ”You have no right whatsoever to call yourselve a child of God until you have behaved yourself and acted in the same way Jesus behaved and acted.
He said, “If you do that, you are an impersonator, you are a blasphemer and God can never hold you guiltless for blaspheming his name.”
Go to the message titled, “impersonation of Christianity.” Another one is, “Is your life worthy of the gospel.” There is another message also where William Branham called so-called children of God idolaters.
He said, “So many of you have become idolaters by putting many things first. And by neglecting the heavenly calling.”
He preached many things in that message titled, “Christianity versus idolatry.”
Many of you here are idolaters yet you don’t know. You think the only person that is an idolater is one that is bowing down to a graven image? No!
There are so many graven images in your heart. Worship takes place in the heart. Many, many graven images in your heart.
God is saying that the work of righteousness is peace. Effect of righteousness is assurance. Blessed assurance, Christ is mine.
It is a blessed assurance that gives you a blessed hope, that come what may, I am secured in Him eternally. Nothing upsets me because a real child of God, nothing upsets him.
That is why the prophet said, “A true child of God rests. He doesn’t run to and fro consulting brother A, brother B.” Every time, consultation. Every time, consultation. The person has not started resting. Something is still wrong.
The moment a child of God rests, he does not negotiate revelation with anybody again. Yes, he does not negotiate or even discuss it. He is rest assured.
Then, for somebody who is rest assured, resolute, grounded and settled, watch him, the effect of this assurance of this salvation will be quietness.
His life will be quiet and orderly. His home, quiet and orderly. Everything will be witnessed quiet. No stumbling block. No occasion to offend anybody.
AND IN SUCH A STABILIZED QUIET CONDITION, ACHIEVED BY GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS, WATCH, IF THERE BE ANYBODY IN THE NAME OF THIS FAITH THAT SNEAKS IN OR COMES OPENLY WITH ANOTHER SPIRIT, HE WILL FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE THAT DARKNESS CANNOT COMPREHEND THE LIGHT THAT IS ALREADY SHINING.
He will be at war and remain at war until he is either converted or he leaves the family. This is the problem why you cannot leave together. This is the problem why there is gossip, complaining, murmuring among you for there is not even one that is righteous according to God’s standard.
Everybody wants to be righteous by works. Nobody is depending on what Christ has done so that he can now be quiet and stop judging others actions.
That is why you are not quiet. God wants real peaceful, quiet environment to exist in every family.
So that when he will consider his Bride, surely, he will see a well-adorned Bride that is fully and whole heartedly depending on Him.
The Bride depending on what Christ had achieved for her and not on what she has contributed or what she will contribute.
The adorning of the Bride is the responsibility of the Bridegroom. I have to dictate the choice of material you put on.
The way I want you to appear is the way you are going to appear. After all, you are going to stay with me, not with any other person.
Any other person is a spectator. At the end of the day, you go home with me. I have adorned you in a manner that is pleasing to me.
In other words, all these years, God has been aiming at forcing the Bride to agree and submit herself to the point of being completely dependent on the Bridegroom.
However, everybody is trying to fabricate something. Everybody is trying to manufacture a little thing. Nobody is saying Amen whole-heartedly.
How can we then make it? As long as you have no quietness, you have no peace, surely, do not rejoice. Quietness and peace, these two things are not negotiable.
When you have them, you know. If you do not have them, you know. Do you know that there is no peace with the wicked?
A gossiper is a wicked person. He is always rioting within because anywhere he sees some people gathering, he will be thinking that there is something they are discussing about him.
Maybe he has revealed it. If you summon a gossip for something very important, maybe for his own good, his heart will faint.
Because immediately his heart will go to one gossip he gossiped somewhere: “maybe brother has heard it and summoned him this morning. Then he will be praying “God if you save me this morning, no more.”
But he will be surprised, when he gets there, brother may not even mention the matter. Brother will say a different thing and continue his way.
All I am saying is that, there is no peace with the wicked. As long as you have no peace, there is no quietness in your mind.
You are a wicked person. Whatever sacrifice you are giving to God, it is an abomination. Many people are offering abominable sacrifices.
Your dancing here is provoking God further. Your clapping of hands in this church is provoking God further.
Even your touching of the saints, God is not happy because you are a wicked person.
THUS, IF I HAVE NO QUIETNESS, I HAVE NO PEACE; LET IT BE KNOWN TO YOU THAT I AM BEING DECEIVED. I AM ALSO DECEIVING MYSELF. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE ASSURANCE OF SALVATION.
The bible said. “The effect of this peace is quietness and assurance.” assured, rest assured.
Then somebody can say; now I know I am saved. Brother is that the way you want to see it, God bless you for that.
On my side, well, I have settled the matter with my God. I have no problem. And really, no problem with me. No problem! You want to go that way? Sure! It is your own opinion.
You have the right. But don’t compel me to go with you. I will not walk an inch further because I know the God I am serving.
“ASSURANCE OF SALVATION Page 43 verses 2 – 58. 1 John chapter 4 verse 13-14, “hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the father sent the son to be the saviour of the world.” From verse 10. “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins.”KJV.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another”. Can we say that God loves us? Yes sir! You see, we say.
At times, I refute that message that says, “Jesus loves me this I know for the bible tells me so.” I do not believe that the bible tells me that God loves me.
The bible said that God loves me. sure! It is indisputable. I have experienced daily that God loves me. You see, one thing is to quote scripture; another thing is to have that experience.
Personally, I am testifying to all of you that God loves brother Odoemena. Daily experience has proved to me that God loves me.
So, even without the bible saying it, I have proved that God loves me. You see, what we are preaching here is experience.
Now, if I have noticed by personal experience that God loves me, what will now make me to hate brother James? It will be very difficult for me to hate brother James until I see brother James hating God.
Because the moment brother James starts hating God, I will hate him. That is why the prophet said “if any man hates your God, hate him.”
How do I know that you love my God? When you abide by his doctrine. When you obey his teaching daily.
You fashion your life, you behave yourself, conduct your daily life in agreement with his command. I will love you.
That is what I am doing and that is what you are doing. Two of us have a point of agreement. There can never be fellowship without a point of agreement.
That fellowship can be for good or for evil. A gossiper cannot gossip until there is a listener. If everybody will repulse a gossip will he gossip again? No sir!
But if somebody notices that you take delight in gossiping, he will make your place his abode. He will now come and dwell with you.
The same way, if the spirit of God, Christ notices that you cherish his word, he will come and live with you and eat with you. Thus, there must be point of agreement. And that forms fellowship.
Fellowship takes place around the point of agreement. Can two walk together except they agree? The answer is no! Don’t deceive yourselves.
Whoever hateth his brother or sister is a murderer. He that hateth his brother or sister is walking in darkness and does not know where he is going.
For darkness has comprehended his eyes. And he will surely stumble. But if you love your brother, the bible said that there is no occasion for you to stumble.
Let me read further verse 11, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at a time. If we love one another, God dewelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
If we love one another, God dewelleth in us. His love is perfected in us also. “… Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the father sent the son to be the Saviour of the world. Have we received the spirit of God that has made us to believe that God has sent us his son in our day to be our saviour?
A son over his father’s family. We are in the ministry of son- ship. The bible said, “He has sent the spirit of his dear son into our lives, into our hearts.
And then we can join him and call him Abba father.” he transferred us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his dear son.
That is where we have our redemption even the forgiveness of our sin. Find out whether the spirit of God has been fully revealed in your heart.
Because it is that spirit of God will now guide and lead you into all truth. Without the spirit of God guiding and leading you, there is nothing that will take you to the path of all truth .you will always be deceiving yourself.
Impersonating a child of God. The bible said, “walk in the spirit, you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh.” how can you walk in the spirit which you have not received?
There is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who do not walk after the flesh but after the spirit. How can they walk after the spirit they have not received?
And if any man has not the spirit of God, he does not belong to God. Then, are you not impersonating child of God? How can you have spirit of God and you are hating one another? Finding fault with one another?
Assurance of salvation. The bible is saying that the work of righteousness is being seen in our lives as peace. And the effect of righteousness is quietness and assurance forever.
When I will rise up in the morning, examine my life, no bitterness, no wrath, no rancour against any living being. In the night, the same thing.
if there should be disagreement, it must be for being disobedient to the gospel. If I disagree with you, it cannot be on any other thing than in scriptures.
When I notice you are not believing, and you are not making any effort to believe and you want others to be unbelievers like you, I will declare you my greatest enemy.
I will hate you straight away. Straight away! And I would not publish it in the newspaper but I have hated you. It is a matter that is between me and you.
I will reserve it until the day you will notice it. When you notice it, then you can take out time and make it right. Whoever hates God hates the church.
You cannot love God and hate the church. Neither can you love the church and hate God. For God and the church are one.
How can you hate this church and be part of this church? Can you hate this family and still call yourself a member of this family? No sir!
However, he that is sowing seed of discord among brethren, does he love the family of God? No sir! You can’t go about sowing seed of discord among brethren and still claim to be part of us. No! God forbid!
Romans chapter 8 verse 15-16 “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again.” The spirit of bondage is the spirit of the law.
For the law leads everybody into bondage. For where there is law, there is fear. Where there is fear, there is torment.
“…for ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, father. The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.” KJV.
“for [the spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption [the spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry Abba (father)!
The spirit himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.” AMP.
IN EACH DISPENSATION OR AGE THERE WAS A REVEALED RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE SAINT OF THAT DAY. THIS RIGHTEOUSNESS HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIDDEN IN THE MESSENGER OF THAT AGE AND IS ONLY REVEALED TO THE ELECT OF THAT DAY THROUGH HIS MESSAGE, THE REST ARE CUT OFF.

GOD’S RIGHTOUSNESS IS BY FAITH IN GOD
And so you should not be like cringing, fearful slaves. You should behave instead like God’s very own children, adopted into the bosom his family and calling to him “father, father.” for his Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and tells us that we are really God’s children.” LB.
We have the greatest witness which is Holy Spirit witness. I don’t want you to bear witness that I am a child of God. There is one witness I want to have, and that is the Holy Spirit.
That it is the spirit of God that beareth witness with our own spirit that we are children of God.
When you have the Holy Spirit in you, happy are you. But you cannot have the Holy Spirit when you are not right with God.
The bible said that God giveth his Holy Spirit to as many as He willeth. God is willing to give him to you but it has condition. There is condition.
Many of us are walking in a way suggesting that we don’t want anything like Holy Spirit. We have no need of Holy Spirit. Because Holy Spirit and the law do not operate together.
When you are walking to make sure you please your father Moses by establishing the law more and more, how can you then receive the spirit of adoption? You cannot!
You cannot be called into sonship under the law, there is nothing like sonship. Sonship is even a blasphemy, punishable by death.
You claim that you are adopted in the son and you are at the same time upholding the law. You are fooling yourself.
I am trying to show you that there is one that beareth witness with your spirit telling you that you have been saved; you are a child of God.
It may not be brother Odoemena (blessed be to his holy name) but the Holy Spirit in you. When you are at peace, you are rest assured.
There is quietness in your life produced by God’s righteousness which is by faith in Christ. Not attained by your works. Then, you have real quietness.
That God is saving me not because of what I have done but because of my faith in the cross of Calvary.
Even if others are condemning me because of what they have seen in my life, yet God is justifying me in the spirit. For I have there placed my faith which is not even seen.
Do you know that faith is not visible? What you see is the effect of faith. If you see me misbehaving myself by your own assessment, you can call me whatever you want to call.
However, if you are a child of God and you ask me why, and I point you to Calvary, you will say glory be to His name. But if you are not a child of God, even if I point you to Calvary one million times, you will not understand.
While I will be pointing people to Calvary, you will be pointing people to Moses. “Don’t see what the law says? Do you read what the law says at all?
I have nothing to do with the law. If you want law, you can go ahead with it but on my side and all that have believed me, we don’t want law. It is useless to us. And we are not given law, we are given Christ.
I was given Christ and not law. And he that gave it to me is perfect. He that gave it to me is perfect. The bible never told me that the law is the propitiation for my sin.
But the bible said that Christ is the propitiation for my sin. He is the propitiation for my sin and not law. The law was there and sin held me captive.
Assurance of salvation. Is there anything bearing witness in you that you are saved? Have you placed yourself in a position where nothing is questioning you?
Where the Holy Ghost is not questioning you again? That is the condition where God wants everybody to attain. God can never question me because of my relationship with any of you here.
He will see and look into the relationship, he will see perfectness. He will look into my relationship with my neighbour, perfect. My relationship with every creature perfect. My relationship with his word, perfect, then I will be at peace with the spirit of God.
Some of you are perfect through the torment of the Holy Spirit. Yet you do not know. Do you know that when the people trouble God, the spirit of God troubled them?
When you pass through the torment of the Holy Spirit that is the worst condition somebody can find himself in. He will be behaving like somebody that is deranged.
There is nothing you do you can comprehend again. You say many things and deny all of them. Do things: deny them because there is nothing holding you again.
A little while you will be behaving as if you have no sense. Little, little things will be dictating your ways. Let us be rest assured. That is the most important thing.
Galatians chapter 4 verse 6, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the spirit of his son into our hearts, crying, Abba, father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son: and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” KJV.
This place is confirming where we read in the book of Romans; all of them speaking same thing. If I am a son, God has sent the spirit of the son into my heart crying Abba, father.
And being a son, I am a partaker all God promised his son Christ.
What else is my trouble again? I have Christ the son of God, why should I cry? Why should 1 murmur? Why should I go about complaining again?
I have Christ the son of God, I have the spirit, I have peace. I have quietness, I have assurance forever; that come what may, let this heaven fall down, I am secured in him eternally.
My relationship with him is perfect, cordial, friendly. I have no question to answer that day.
Please, do not ever place yourself in a position where you will become speechless in the sight of God.
God will call you to question and then you stand there watching him with your mouth sealed. The bible said and our song confirms that, “when he calls, we will answer here am I.”
When he calls, I will answer “here am I.”I will not be dumb. I will answer when God calls.
Even in the classroom, if your teacher calls you, do you keep quiet? I will answer present sir. I am to show that I am a lively stone.
If I am coming into my father’s house and I have nothing hiding in my cupboard, I come boldly. If they are saying they will search the house, and I have no skeleton in my cupboard, Will I be afraid? I will even assist in searching.
But if I know I am guilty, once the searching is mentioned, I will not be at rest. I will be very alert, looking for one I will give a piece of note to go and pack away certain things to where I will tell him.
That is what I have noticed in this camp. I am not searching you, you have already searched yourselves. What you are holding that has made you abominable in the sight of God; you know where you kept those things.
Some of them are trapped in your heart. Some you grow up with them. Old, old sinful nature. Idol! We thought by now you must have received a new spirit instead, you are growing from worse to worst.
But not all of you. Some have already weighed themselves in the light of the scriptures so far read and they are rejoicing in hope.
But the worst thing that will happen to somebody is to join people rejoicing without knowing the basis of their rejoicing. I know why I am rejoicing. If why I am rejoicing is not why you are rejoicing, something has gone wrong somewhere.
Let us continue from the same message. “ASSURANCE OF SALVATION Page 66 verses 1 – 25. First John chapter 5 verse12, “he that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the Son of God ; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the son of God .” KJV.
If you have the son, you have life. If you don’t have the son, you can never see life. The son I have told you is not other person but the word of God.
And the word of God according to St. John chapter 6 verse 63 is the spirit of God. In the beginning was the Son, that is the word. The word was with God.
That is the son with the father. For the word was made flesh and became a human being. So it is.
If you don’t have him, the word of God is not abiding in you, the son is not abiding in you, surely, you are perishing.
If the word of God abides in you, you are the fulfilment of the word. Your body is harbouring the word.
When we want to see the effect of the word, we look at your character. If the effect of this righteousness is not seen you, you are wasting your time. I am here in the business for my people.
St. John chapter 14 verse 21, “He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”KJV
If you hear my commandment and obey them, you are the one that loves me.
But if you hear my words, my command and you do not obey, you do not love me. Opposite of love is hate. and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and I wilI love him, and will manifest myself to him
In what way? In what way is he going to manifest himself to you? By giving you his spirit which is the only token.
Because he giveth his spirit to as many as he willeth. Can he give his spirit to his enemy? What is he going to do with it?
“If you love me, I will manifest myself to you;”Saith Almighty God. “My father will love you and I will love you also. Based on your ability to keep my commandment.”
All I am saying is that there is nobody in this most holy faith that doesn’t know whether he is keeping God’s command or not. Does it require prophecy?
You know the teachings you have received in this church at various times. If you obey them, you know. If you are not obeying, you know.
It doesn’t require brother tell me; sister, tell me wherein have I offended? Brother, tell me, wherein have I erred? No! You know where you have erred.
Because I have given you everything pertaining to Godliness that you might attain his divine nature. Have you really attained his divine nature?
If after receiving all these teachings and you have not attained God’s divine nature, something is wrong with you and not with the message.
There is nothing wrong with this message. If there is anything wrong, is with the individual. Many are receiving the messages in their jotters; some are receiving it in their brain.
Some are receiving it merely with their mouth. But only few are receiving the message in their heart.
With the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. Not with the brain. But with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
You cannot tell me that you have believed in your jotter and that becomes your righteousness. No! What of those that do not write, they do not read?
If writing down in your jotter makes you righteous, it then means those people will perish. You may even condemn yourself with your jotter on the last day.
I know many will deny some of my teachings that day: “Brother, you never told me. I didn’t hear. I was not in the church that day. Na lie! You were in the church. You heard it well, well.
But I thank God that he will not position me in a place where I will enter into argument with anybody. For now, I can argue. But a day is coming when I will not argue.
This same mercy seat will become your judgment seat. The same mercy seat is the judgment seat.
Who knows that Christ is the mercy is seat? Is it scripture? Yes sir! But who knows that Christ is the judgment seat also? God bless you!
When you know these fundamental truths in Christ, happy are you. You will know how to conduct yourself.
That time when we heard the message that, “The justifier of the gentiles is here.” I underlined that message. And in my own jotter, I put it perfect: “The justifier of the gentiles is here.
The destroyer of the gentiles is on his way. Coming swiftly to make a quick riddance upon the earth. And no flesh shall be saved.”
I underlined the prophecy in my jotter. Because I know that any moment from now, the Bride will be taken away and the moment the Bride-which is the true church of God is taken away that self same day, all that didn’t partake of that catching away will face eternal wrath of God .
Which finally will take them to the lake of fire? It is not giving them a second chance to go and get oil, then repent, come and call the Son of man.
There won’t be son of man again that day. The son of man will be on the run, son of woman will be on the run. What I am telling you is the truth.
By that time, everything will be on the run. Everybody will be on the run. But today while we have him in our midst as our mercy seat, we can now plead our case. I mean, we can amend our wrong if we can. Amen.
And give to Solomon my son a blameless heart to keep Your commandments, testimonies, and statutes, and to do all that is necessary to build the temple [for You] for which I have made provision.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
COLOSSIANS 3:16. KJV.

HAVE A TRUE HEART AND CHRIST SPIRIT
ASSURANCE OF SALVATION Page 75 verses 1 – 20. I go a little further. The basis of your new birth. Ezekiel chapter 36 vs 26-27. “A new heart also I will give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statues, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. KJV.
It never started today. God promised a new spirit to his people that were rebellious to his word. He cast them away by way of punishment.
During the time of restoration, he said he will give a new spirit and a new heart. He will take away the stony heart that was stubborn and rebellious.
Then give them a heart of flesh that will be receptive to God’s word. He God will cause them to obey him and walk in his ways. He documented them here.
It is very easy to quote this prophecy. But we have to relate it to the New Testament for God has only but one spirit.
This same spirit of God he was promising in the Old Testament, the same spirit of God he has promised us in the New Testament. That he will put the spirit of his son into our own heart then we will join him and call almighty God Abba, Father.
This same spirit of God he said he will give us to bear witness with our spirit that we are now children of God. Let me go a little further to confirm what I am saying.
St. John chapter 1 verse 12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in his name: which were born,” Note! not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God …”
The problem we are having here is that many of us here are just bunch of flesh.
That is why we consider everything from the fleshy angle when we know that the flesh profiteth nothing. Whoever that is born of the flesh in this church can never please God.
However, whoever that is born of God over cometh the world. Do you know that? He who over cometh the flesh, he walks in the leadership of the spirit.
If God is a spirit, whoever that is born of God is a spirit also. Although we are visible to human eye, that is the way God has desired it.
A time came when Almighty God became a human being like us in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. From that time, children of God started being made manifest in human form. It is not robbery.
Let me go a little further to confirm that not all that were born of Abraham in the flesh were children of God.
But as many as were born according to the promise, they were children of God. I will narrow the message down that not all that say they are Israelites are Israelites.
Thus, you can be in this most holy faith yet, you are not born of God. As many as were born of God here must agree with what God is doing in their day and will be a part of it.
However, if you are in this most holy faith and you are not a part of what God is doing, maybe you are in our midst spying into the secret of our liberty; you are a stranger in our midst
If you are not born of God, you are born of flesh or you are born of the world.
First of all check, are you really born of God? The basis of the new birth lies in having fleshy heart that is receptive to God’s word.
Do you have that new heart that accepts the word of God readily and manifests the word of God?
For God said, “I will give them a new heart and a new spirit and cause them to walk according to my command and status.”
They cannot oppose God’s command. If God says move, they will move. God says stop; they will stop because they now have the spirit of God which now compels them to obey.
I have always told you that without the spirit of God in a man, no human being will obey God’s word.
It will take God’s spirit in you to accept the word of God because holy men of God wrote down the word of God as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
In other words, what is written, we can say is the voice of the Holy Spirit. Can Holy Spirit in me deny his word? Can Holy Spirit in me be ashamed in putting his word into practice? No sir!
Please, drive this message home. This is the basis of the new heart. Many of us are still operating with our stony, stubborn heart. No transformation, no conversion.
That is why we fuss and quarrel. We can even fight and devour one another. “ASSURANCE OF SALVATION We continue from Page 84 verses 29– 56.
All I am saying is that all of us still operating with our old stubborn and stony hearts.
No matter how the word of God has been preached which is the spirit of God, they have not believed.
If they have believed, right from the heart would have come out transformation. Don’t you know that when you believe the word of God in your heart, automatically from your heart, you are regenerated?
You are now a new individual. Your old way of thinking, old way of doing things will pass away.
Old habit will pass away! A new spirit is now in you leading you into a new life. A new experience.
Maybe I will go back and preach “Born again.” it is this elementary side that we have forgotten that is causing this trouble.
A time has come when everybody is looking for mystery when you have not even scaled through. Many of you are operating with unregenerate hearts which the fruits are being evidently seen in our midst.
Because it will take an un-regenerated heart ,to fight, to fuss, to quarrel, to gossip, to bear even false witness. Fabricating lies against one another is now a habit.
The only person that will do it is one whose heart is not regenerated. It is part of the old life we were living before we knew God.
If we still continue to live that old life today, where lies our claim of knowing God? Have these things anything to do with the law? No sir!
Does it mean that removal of the law has made us beasts? But the law was used to instill moral discipline in the Bride, so that we will know that we are human beings.
1stpeter chapter 1 verse 23. You know it very well. You are born again by the incorruptible word of God which liveth and abideth forever.
In other words, if you are born again and your “born again” experience is not the word of God, you are deceiving yourself.
You are impersonating a child of God. If there is any place you are basing your being born again on outside the word of God that is bearing witness, your life bearing witness, you are deceiving yourself.
As long as your life is disagreeing with the word of God, you are not born again.
As long as your daily conducts, your character, your behavior is disagreeing with the conduct of children of God, I am saying you are not born again.
You don’t have the spirit of God. You are not born of God. You are not a member of his family.
Even if you are sitting down in the church, it is your right like any other person, you are just escorting people. Find out whether your experience compares with the scripture.
If your experience as a child of God does not compare very well with the scriptures, please do something now. I say, do something now. Especially to many of you that just rushed in during the period of “Inyanga.”
And you thought we are in the church for dancing jamboree. We are not in this most holy faith for mere dancing.
Even while we are dancing, the bible enjoins us to dance in the spirit. But many were dancing mere carnal dancing.
It is reproducing the old style we used to dance in the village without revelation.
But if you produce them by the divine revelation as a mark of praise to God because you are saved, and God is worthy to be worshipped, fine! It is acceptable.
1st john 5 verse 1-2 “Whosoever beliveth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.”KJV.
“Everyone who believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus the Christ (the messiah) is a born-again child of God; and everyone who loves the father also loves the one born of him (his offspring). By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God: when we love God and obey his commands.” AMP.
“If you believe that Jesus is the Christ that he is God’s son and your saviour, then you are a child of God. And one who loves the father loves the children too. So you can find out how much you love God’s children, your brothers and sisters in Lord. By how much you love and obey God” LB.
Verse 2, “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.” KJV.
Have I not told you that when you hate God, you hate the church? When you hate the church, you hate God. When we say church, you know that church is nothing but the gathering of the children of God.
That is the house of God, the family of God. How can you tell us that you love the children of God when you do you not keep God’s commandment? And you claim you are born again, you are born of God.
The bible said, “You are only born of God, you are a child of God if you love God’s children.
You cannot say you love God and hate his children and still claim you have God as your father.”It is impossible.
Brethren, I am giving you points where by you know exactly where you are. So that you do not stand on a faulty foundation.
Many are standing on a sinking ground. Neglecting this fundamental principle of children God, jumping into the revelation of mysteries.
Everybody wants to know the man of sin. You want to know the mystery of the church. You want to know every mystery.
But look at the elementary side, the most important side where your eternal life depends, many have neglected this side.
Some are still carried away by over confidence that they have known it. From the scriptures that are so far read, we can see that many of us are far removed from the course of eternal life.
We have been pursuing the shadow this is what counts for children of God and not knowledge of mysteries.
Knowledge of mysteries stabilizes your faith. I will call knowledge of mysteries Algebra. I call fundamental principles of our faith, ABC.
We must know the type of born again experience we have to know whether it compares favourably with the scriptures.
This is the love you say you have for God. Do you have love for the Lord Christ? Measure it by the level of love you have for the brethren.
How can you tell me that you are a child of God, you are born again, God is your father and you hate children of God. Nobody comes near you; you can’t stay with any of them.
You go about gossiping with Satan. You claim they are your brothers and sisters. At the end of service, you say, “God bless.”
Who has ever seen something like this? It is a criminal act in the body punishable by eternal death. It is a criminal act in the body. I don’t care who is guilty.
Brethren, this is a serious matter. I say, I don’t care who is guilty. If we say we love God and this love is not being made manifest among us as real children of God, our claim is false.
We are impersonating life of God. We are claiming to be what we are not.
Let me touch on these fundamental nuggets we have bypassed, which we have strongly over looked for which cause we are now dying, not even suffering. We are dying.
All these nuggets, fundamental principles, they have nothing to do with the law of Moses. I call all these things entrance into fellowship with God.
How can I be in this most holy faith fooling myself and I am not in the right relationship with my brethren.
Can I claim to be in the right relationship with God and I am not in the right relationship with the brethren?
My relationship with God is measured with my relationship by my brethren. Sure and certain. Don’t carry the life of God too far, it is just elementary.
Just very close; you can lay hands on it, you can weight it. It is a daily experience. Even if you hate me today, you will love me tomorrow. Amen.
LIFE IS ALL ABOUT CHRIST. LIFE IS NOT ALL ABOUT MARRIAGE, ALL ABOUT MONEY OR WEALTH AND EDUCATION NO! IT IS ALL ABOUT CHRIST.

CHRIST IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF LIFE
Brethren let us continue on the message: “ASSURANCE OF SALVATION Page 97 verses 1 – 52. The only source of life is Christ. I am touching on nuggets.
I have touched on assurance of salvation; I have touched on the basis of the new birth. Thirdly, I want to touch on the only source of life which is Christ.
If you are looking for life outside this place, you are wasting your time. You are looking for life where you cannot find life.
I have seen many of us running helter-skelter and if I do not check this spirit, you will land in one babalawo’s (herbalist’s) house because everything has become right in your eyes when you have not entered into the promised rest.
It is a very delicate and dangerous precedent. You shouldn’t behave anyhow.
Seeing everything, confirm everything to be right in your eyes, you go about doing them when you have not entered into the promised rest. There must be decency in the body.
Whatever God hated in the beginning, He hates till the end. St. John chapter 10 verse 10. It is a popular scripture you know that Satan comes to destroy and to steal and to carry away.
But God has come to give us life and that life he promises he will give us more abundantly. If Christ has promised more abundant life, I believe he will keep his promise.
There is no need anybody putting his trust or confidence in any other thing outside Christ. He should be sufficient for all children of God.
St. John 11 verse 25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live…”
He that has introduced himself as the resurrection and the life and has promise that if any man, any woman believes in him, even if he dies, surely, he will live again.
We can now join St. Paul to say, “While we live, we live in Christ. If we die in him, there is great gain.” for that reason, God wants us to be steadfast in him.
Whether we die, whether we live, let us remain steadfast in him. The writer of the book of Romans went further to put it this way; he said, “what will separate us from the love of God?”
Having seen the extent of love God has manifested towards his children, what do you think can now separate us from the love of God?
Is it material things, death, poverty, barrenness? What will now separate us from the love of God? Remember that the love of God is being measured by the love of the brethren.
What is that thing that will make me to hate the children of God? Tell me! What will separate me from the children of God?
… Brethren, abundant life is found in Him who is the Author of life. The Resurrection and Life, if we put our trust and confidence in Him, Surely even if we die, we will live again.
2ndTimothy chapter 1 verse 10 “Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works.
Oh, Glory be to God! I love this scripture very well. “…Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works,” Is it like that in your Bible?
“…but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.” I thank God I am not in this Faith because of my works.
What is in man to work out his salvation? God gave me a Holy and Heavenly calling by grace according to His eternal purpose He purposed in Christ before the world began.(while I was a sinner, Christ picked me and adopted me as his son. Amazing Grace!
“…But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ who hath abolished death and hath brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.”
I will not die anymore. What I will do is to put off this flesh; I cannot taste of death for Christ has abolished death and has brought to light immortality by the preaching of this Gospel.
I told you that life is only found in Christ. You say, why do we die every day? You are not the only person that dies in the flesh.
Even heathen dies. Do not consider the flesh; we must put off this flesh one day. When we say death, we mean eternal separation from God.
I thank God I am not separated from God. Because before the world began, by election of grace He has already chosen and called me for a holy and high calling.
He purposed it in Himself before the world began. Thus, if you are a child of God, rejoice always.
When you have this settled in your mind, it will drive away every fear. No fear of death because you know as child of God, you cannot die again.
If God said I will not die again, who will kill me? I cannot die again, you cannot die again. What we merely do is we sleep in the Lord. We sleep in the Lord.
I really thank God because the entrance of the word of God giveth life and hope. When we have all these fundamental principles of our faith settled in our heart, surely, nobody will run to and fro.
Even if you are sick today, in your sick condition, you will not be separated from the love of God. You are not even troubled.
You would not blame brother or sister for not seeing you or looking after you because you know where your eternal destiny lies.
Romans chapter 8 verse 11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dewelleth in you.” KJV.
This same spirit that quickened Jesus didn’t come down from anywhere. That spirit dewelleth in Him. That is the Spirit He promised to give to us. In other words, the rapturing faith is already in us.
There was no other spirit that quickened Jesus mortal body if not the Holy Spirit. Thus, as many as have Holy Spirit here, already, they are harbouring immortality. Yes sir.
No wonder, I know very well that the church is standing on the threshold of the glorified estate. Very soon, we shall witness the church in a glorified estate.
When the Holy Spirit must have completed His work in the Bride. (my prayer now is God work on me now so that I will come forth shinning as the brightness of star) What will make me immortal is already in me.
Not that it is coming or is going to come. I now possess immortality. I believe in the same way the body of Jesus was not seen lying in the grave, nobody will see my body in the grave.
If Rapture (Translation) occurs now, what will happen? We the living will put on immortality. Is it coming from somewhere to clothe us? It is already in us.
What He will do is what the Bible said He will do. Merely quickening our mortal body. But what if you do not have this Holy Spirit?
When others will be quickened, will you be quickened? No! (It takes the sperm to fertilise the egg, where there is no egg, the sperm has nothing to fertilize) What is that thing that will hinder me from following my brethren when they are being caught up in the air?
And I know it is in the power of my hand to amend it and I will harden my heart, do you know I hate my life? That goes to show that I hate my life.
What is the purpose of this faith? God wants a stabilized atmosphere in all the churches where the warmth of the brethren will come up again. Where every brother, every sister will strive to go back to the first love.
Taking you to the fundamental principles of Christ means taking you to the first love where you start re-examining yourself.
Then you would notice that many of us have a lot of weight thinking that everything is okay with us.
We can see the missing link. We can now rejoin it immediately. Everybody! Tom, Dick and Harry, no exception. I am involved, you are involved.(call one another on phone, and know the welfare or one another, be your brothers keeper.
The essence of revision is to make sure you correct all those areas you failed.
And there can never be any serious examination without revision. Maybe after revision, we face mock. We will have a mock test. Mock! I love that name “mock”.
FIND OUT WHAT IS SUSTAINING YOU
Don’t be tired let’s go further from Page 120 verses 1 – 16 of “ASSURANCE OF SALVATION. Let us go a little further. Every true seed of God is sustained by the word of God.
He is not sustained by his feelings, he is not sustained by his mind or conscience, he is not sustained by his philosophy or ideology, every true seed of God is sustained by the word of God.
Find out what has been sustaining you all this while. If what has been sustaining you is not the word of God, you are sustained by the devil.
Devil is falsely sustaining you in error. If what is sustaining you here is dancing and jumping up and down, or your marriage proposal with your brother or your sister.
Or the selfless services we are rendering to you, maybe those things are sustaining you. No! You are building on a false foundation. Better reconsider yourself. I better reconsider myself.
Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 3. We go back to the very beginning to know how they were sustained. Every true seed of God, I said every.
“And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and feed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.” kjv.
He gave them bread that came down from heaven, gave them everything; humbled them down in hunger only to prove to them that man, a real child of God does not live by eating and drinking alone but by every word of God. Every word of God! It is not written in the New Testament only.
1st peter 2:2, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that, ye may grow thereby…” As newborn babes, if a little child wants to grow, he must desire the sincere milk of the word.
Do not say, “I know all these scriptures.” Your problem is not knowing scriptures. You can know scriptures and still perish. How real have the scriptures become to you?
Have all these scriptures you have known all these years become part of your daily experience and practice? Are you professors of the word or doers of the word?
Have you been desiring the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby or have you been desiring some other things you think can sustain you more than the word of God?
You have to answer your own question, I would answer my own. St. John chapter 5:24. God wants us to go back to the very beginning.
“Verily verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” KJV.
Do not tell me brother, this is too elementary. I will say it is not. You can hear without believing. I say you can hear without believing. And whatever you say you believe and you cannot practice it, have you believed it? No sir.
Many of us have believed the doctrines and teachings of the church, sure! But put it in practice, no!
And in the beginning of this ministry, the Holy Spirit said and I repeat, “Any teaching that is not practicable is not worth preaching.”
If I preach a message and I cannot put it into practice, who then do I want to practice it?
Make sure God will not reprimand you in the end, using the same messages you have preached which you refused to put into effect for reasons best known to you.
He that heareth my word and believeth in he that sent me has everlasting life and can never go into condemnation forever and ever.
Nothing will condemn you. Why? You are being sustained daily by the word. let the word of God inspire your action. Let your anger be inspired by Gods word too.
What must sustain me is the word. What must sustain you is the word. If any other thing is sustaining you in this faith outside the word of God, please put a question mark to your salvation.
I say your eternal race is questionable. Remember we are called the word Bride and the Bride does nothing on her own except on thus saith the Lord.
There are many of you here that are sustained by something else other the than word of God.
There are many of you here that are sustained by something else other than the word of God.
There is something else that is sustaining you here. Have you got any experience in Christ, let those experiences sustain you in Christ. Sustained by experience.
Tell me anything you know other than the catching away of the Bride and the wrath of God? Tell me any other thing you have read from the scriptures you are expecting if not these two and these two will take place in one day, in a twinkling of an eye. In other words, in that one day of 24 hours, God has only but one second. Note, all these years, we have been moving about rejoicing; God has only but a day; in that one day, He has only a second.

AWAKE FROM SPIRITUAL SLUMBER
We are rounding up, let’s turn to the bible to the book of Colossians. Scripture “If ye then be risen in Christ seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God, set your affections on things above not on things on earth, for you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Col.3:1-3 KJV.
Philip asked the Ethiopian Eunuch, “do you really understand what thou readesth” and he answered and said unto him how can I, unless somebody guides me. That is in Acts 8:26-31.
So you need a guide, we have a perfect guide the Son of man, someone that will guide you into all truths and open your eyes of understanding to this great awareness in Christ.
Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. And the truth is heavy, not every shoulder can carry it.
The great magnet is up there calling, in the person of Apostle Peter Odoemena (Blessed be his holy name) come up hither, look up, your redemption is near.
Awake from your spiritual slumber for the night is far spent. This is time for great spiritual re-awakening in the Bride.
Look away from all these worldly offers and go after heavenly offer which are the things that are meant for eternal life. Just like the little eaglet, learn how to flap your spiritual wings, lifting yourself above this world.
Any moment from now, we shall be gone to be with the Lord in the air. The mother Eagle (The Elohim) is up there to pick her own away from this wicked world.
He as a big hen has stretched forth his wings very large to accommodate all that believed and pinned their hope on Him.
This old world can never hold me back any moment I will be gone, for I have made my consecration, I have my wedding garment on.
Hold to Gods unchanging hand my brethren. Covet not these world vain riches.

Naught of earth unmoved can stand.
Build your hope on things eternal.
Hold to Gods unchanging hand.
Trust on Him (Christ) who will not leave you.
Whatsoever year may bring.
If by earthly friends forsaken.

Seek to gain the heavenly treasures.

When your journey is completed.
If to God you have been true.

Press on every day to know the Lord for God said “Any day you stop learning you grow old. And old age is the sign of death.
Even St. Paul in all his experiences with Christ cried daily saying “Oh that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection.”
The scripture says study the word of God and be filled with the spirit of God always to show yourself approved unto God.
A workman who need not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. Scripture “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”2 Tim.2:15. KJV.
King David said I know more than my teachers and ancient men because I meditate upon the word of God daily.
Learn to carry the wise mans bag daily so that you can become wise in due season. Learn to serve and worship the king so that you may become a king tomorrow.
FINAL NOTE
Meditate on these quotes.
(1) “I have looked round, I have not seen even one that has manifested the courage, the patience, the love, the understanding, the accommodation that is required that has attained the spiritual height where brethren can take him the same way they have taken me (The Son of man)”Bridal compendium vol.2 page 118, 2nd paragraph. We are still on our way towards perfection in Christ. Be focused!
(2) “When there is a change in the pastorhood, there must also of a necessity be a similar change in the fellowship, in the listeners, in the worshipers, you cannot stay in the old ideology to welcome the new message, no, begin now to adjust or be shown the way out, Gods aid to Joshua, as I was with my servant (Mosses) so shall I be with you. Only be courageous and do the work.”Bridal compendium vol.2 page 120, 4th paragraph. Let every hands be on deck, be up and doing always.
(3) “Exercise the authority conveyed on you by Christ who made you overseers over His flock. He is the only one you are accountable to.
He determines whether you will fail or succeed, but you must succeed for He is able to help you succeed once you show the willingness to do the work, be courageous and do the work. Bridal compendium vol.2 page 121, 2nd paragraph.
(4) “Often times some stupendous ignoramuses who pose as parents conspire to spoil and over expose their children to all forms of vice by laying destructive example before them in their homes.
Imagine a situation where parents encourage their children to put on immoral and amorous dresses, some of which exposes their nudities so that men can go after them.”Bridal compendium vol.2 page 121, 3rd paragraph
(5) “You see why you must be very careful to know who you are partnering with, know who is influencing your actions and decisions.

You may call it a light thing; to me it is not light. I don’t have any light evil. So if you will be courageous to indulge in that evil character, be courageous enough to bear my punishment.” Bridal compendium vol.2 page 123, 3rd paragraph.
(7) “If you are a true child of God that has Holy Spirit, whatever happens around you is permitted by God for you to learn something there.
It will either” strengthen you or discourage you from certain things. Are you getting what I am saying?”Bridal compendium vol.2 page 131, 2ndparagraph.
And also the Almighty God said “When a man falls down and rise the gap he will cover will show who pushed him down, whether God or the devil.”
(8) “Let me tell you something, I want to see families in the faith that will be courageous enough to place their husband first and allow their husbands to be answerable to all things pertaining to the family as God place it from the very beginning. I am answerable to my wife before God.”Bridal compendium vol.2 page 131.
(9) “Many people are always happy, always joyful when they succeed but lack the courage to bear the loss when they fail.
Must you succeed always’ if life is very easy for you, whatever you place your hands on is moving smoothly; surely you are dying quicker than your age.
The person must die before his time.”Bridal compendium vol.2 page 132, 1st paragraph. Endeavour at all times to be happy at all times.
Raising your spiritual consciousness in Christ to face every situation both soft and hard time in Christ, as we wait for the translation of our mortal bodies in Christ being able ministers of the new covenant, called and ordained to succeed in Christ where others failed.
