PROLOGUE

Psalms 101:1-8 Living Bible. [1]I will sing about your loving-kindness and your justice, Lord. I will sing your praises!

2.       [2]I will try to walk a blameless path, but how I need your help, especially in my own home, where I long to act as I should.

3.       [3]Help me to refuse the low and vulgar things; help me to abhor all crooked deals of every kind, to have no part in them.

4.       [4]I will reject all selfishness and stay away from every evil. [5]I will not tolerate anyone who secretly slanders his neighbors; I will not permit conceit and pride.

5.       [6]I will make the godly of the land my heroes and invite them to my home. Only those who are truly good shall be my servants.

6.       [7]But I will not allow those who deceive and lie to stay in my house. [8]My daily task will be to ferret out criminals and free the city of God from their grip.

THIS MAN: HE IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY 

It is wonderful. Get seated everybody, it is a pleasure having you all healthy, spiritually and physically.

2.       I know that if you go round the whole world today, there must be weeping, sorrows, anguish, pains and regrets in too many families, but it is not so with us.

3.       It is the LORD’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes. It is not that we are better than any other person. This is His eternal purpose which He has purposed for this Family before the world began.

4.       It is a counsel He has taken without consulting anybody, for He does everything according to the counsel of His own will. 

5.       11In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, [Ephesians 1:11 AMP]

6.       And nobody challenges Him, for He is always right. God is always right, but we as human beings, we are always in the wrong. Whether we want to acknowledge it or not, human beings from creation, have always been in the wrong.

7.       Even when God allowed life and death to exist before them, He commanded them to make their choices between life and death. And he went further to encourage them to choose life that they may live.

8.       Unfortunately, the same people He commanded and persuaded to choose life said no, and decided to choose death.

9.       You see, if I tell you what you will do and be My friend and what you will do and become My enemy; if you are desirous of being My friend, you MUST do that which will make you to be My friend; which will make Me to be happy with you.

10.     But where I have told you everything, and then you flagrantly decided to have your way and say no to that which will make you to be pleased with Me and go to the wrong side, because that is the way you have chosen to live, it then means you are confrontational.

11.     You are challenging My Authority. You are telling Me that you can exist without Me. So, you have arrived.

12.     THIS IS BECAUSE A FOOL SEES OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD AS AN INSULT. HEAR ME VERY WELL. A FOOL SEES OBEDIENCE TO THE TRUTH AS DEBASING HIMSELF; DEBASING HIS PERSONALITY.

13.     Then the question arises. Who are you? What are you? Or what do you think you are? Who are you? What are you? Who and what do you think you are before the Almighty God. When you were not in existence, where were you? What were you then?

14.     When you came out from your mother’s womb, what nature did you assume? Whatever you may claim to be today, who made you what you are?

15.     The life you have for which cause you can boast of tomorrow, who is the Author of that life?

16.     We are living with a permissive life. Do you believe it? He has permitted us to live. And that is why we are alive. If you never permitted us, we shall be found in the land of the dead.

17.     And I do not think that God, permitting us to live means having us as His enemies who will be troubling Him from time to time. This is because man, from the beginning, has been in the wrong.

18.     And God set a wave in motion, which I will call Restoration and Reconciliation Wave, aiming at bringing mankind to reconciliation with God; to reconcile with God so that it shall be well with man.

19.     I want all of you that can record with your handsets to go and place your handsets where you can do recording right now. If you know your handset can do good recording, go and place it there, for what I am holding is the greatest enemy of the devil.

20.     For a very long time now, I have not come to the pulpit with such Teaching. Fresh in the sense that I want to stand upon the Scriptures to lay a foundation for what will happen tomorrow or anytime from now.

21.     I want to thank God for the obedience to the instruction I gave that all Local Assemblies and families scattered all over the world should lay hold on the Message, THIS MAN: HE IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

22.     A Teaching and a great revelation to the Bride handled by no other person but Bishop Chidubem who is in charge of Port Harcourt Household.

23.     Not even one Apostle has ever attempted unravelling the mystery behind EPISTLE 16 in the Great Sermon [and the Holy Ghost inspired Revelations and Epistles], until He took it upon himself, knowing that all were reading it for reading sake, without understanding it.

24.     Although it is the shortest Message in that Message or in the compilation, but it is there, housing the mystic secret of your translation; of your being.

25.     The mystic secret of your success. The mystic secret of your success. The mystic secret of your failure as well, for whatever that will reveal your success will also reveal your failure. Is it not true?

26.     WHAT REVEALS A MAN’S STRENGTH ALSO REVEALS A MAN’S WEAKNESS. IF IT IS NOT SO, IT IS INCOMPLETE. GOD WILL NEVER ALLOW US TO LIVE WITHOUT TELLING US WHAT WILL KILL US.

27.     HE WILL NOT CREATE HEAVEN AND HELL WITHOUT GIVING US THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR HEAVEN, AND AT THE SAME TIME, THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR HELL. TRUE OR FALSE? GOOD!

28.     For that reason, we must pay strict attention this morning and see whether we can grab something. It is a new Message altogether. It is something you have been hearing over the years, but I want to give it a facelift.

29.     From time to time, go back to Epistle 16 in the Great Sermon. After which you lift up that copy of the Message, THIS MAN: HE IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

30.     This is because that Scripture was quoted from the Old Testament and from the King James Version of the Bible.

31.     In other words, right from the time of old, our ancient fathers knew that God has always been a Man, but the problem has always been one thing: How to identify that Man in the midst of multitudes.

32.     He is One. One entity. Not two. The LORD your God is One. Hear Me O people of God; Hear ye O Israel, the LORD your God is One.

33.     Till today, God is one and not two. And His name, One. 

34.     Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: [Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV]

35.     Do you believe it. His Teaching, One. His people, One. His Spirit, One. His Character, One. His Family, One.

36.     SO, GOD DOES NOT RUN A CONFUSED FAMILY. AND THEN YOU KNOW THE HEAD OF THAT FAMILY. THAT IS CHRIST.

37.     And the Bible said it is in that family which is called the Kingdom of God, which metamorphosed into the Kingdom of Heaven.

38.     It should be the uniting point of all sons and daughters of God, whether they be Jews or gentiles; and they shall all be gathered in His Church, with One as the Head. One Shepherd. One Flock. And that Person is Christ.

39.     16And I have other sheep [beside these] that are not of this fold. I must bring and impel those also; and they will listen to My voice and heed My call, and so there will be [they will become] one flock under one Shepherd. [John 10:16 AMP]

40.     Christ is the head. We sing it in our song. The Church is one foundation, with Christ as the Head.

41.     And no one can ever lay any other real foundation than that one we already have – Jesus Christ. [1 Corinthians 3:11]

42.     The headship is not two, but One. The Headstone is not two, but one.

43.     Whether they be Jews or they be Gentiles, the meeting point is in Christ. They may have different mothers, but their Father MUST be One.

44.     The Uniting point of all children that were born by many wives who are married to one man; their uniting point is their Father. He is the Father of them all. 

45.     Whether their mothers are from the Greek; whether they are from the Jews or from the Gentiles, I do not care. Their mothers can come from different nations.

46.     Naturally speaking, oftentimes, we see people pairing up in marriage. Husband and wife from different nationalities, different cultures, different languages and different backgrounds. True or false?

47.     AND THEY WILL BECOME A PERFECT BLEND, FOR THEY WILL BE UNITED IN THE SAME SPIRIT. THE SPIRIT OF MARRIAGE IS THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST. THAT IS WHY, ANY MARRIAGE THAT IS NOT INSTITUTED BY CHRIST IS MERE FRIENDSHIP.IT IS MERE FRIENDSHIP.

48.     THIS IS BECAUSE THE BOND OF UNITY THAT EXISTS BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE IS CHRIST, WHICH IS LOVE.LOVE IS GOD AND GOD IS LOVE. LOVE IS OF GOD.

49.     WHOEVER THAT LOVETH IS OF GOD. AND THERE IS NO LAW AGAINSTLOVE AND THIS LOVE COVERS MULTITUDES OF SINS. TRUE OR FALSE?

50.     SO, IF IT IS NOT LOVE THAT IS BINDING YOU TOGETHER, YOU ARE NOT BOUND TOGETHER BY GOD. IF IT IS NOT LOVE THAT IS LIFTING YOU UP, NOTHING IS LIFTING YOU UP, BUT THE DEVIL.

51.     That is why we sing; His love has lifted us up when there was nothing we can look up to. We were downtrodden, forsaken and despised, but God’s love lifted us up. Amen.

52.     That is why Love helps us to endure all things; to tolerate all things. We remember that in time past, we were foolish. In time past, we were foolish, blind and idolaters. 

53.     People smote us and we retaliated immediately. But when the Love of God projected, He saved us. Not when we were righteous. We were still sinners when He came and saved us, paid the price for our iniquities; bore the penalty in his own flesh, compelled by love.

54.     Love is a powerful word. That is why any action of man that is not motivated by the love of God is devilish. I say, it is devilish. It must produce undesirable results.

55.     For days now, as you all know, too many things have been happening round THE SON OF MAN. And no other people are closely acquainted with THE SON OF MAN more than all of you here.

56.     When My language changes, you know. When My attitude changes, you know. There is no change that takes place in THE SON OF MAN which you have not noticed.

57.     You may not have the courage to ask why. You may be querying some of the changes in your heart, but you lack the boldness and the utterance to go near to say, “Daddy, for sometime now, it is like we are no longer friends. You are becoming much friendlier than before.”

58.     And this is depending on where the change is leading to. That is why your eye salve must be bright.

59.     Often times, it may lead Me to distance all of you. It may lead Me to be sober and quiet, and prefer solitary life to living in your company. At times, it may lead Me to serving Myself alone, and you may be misunderstanding it.

60.     Keep your eyes on the ground and you will see the marks THE SON OF MAN is making on the ground. He is leaving footprints on the sands of time.

61.     Prove to yourself that you will not yield to any negative spirit. Nobody sleeps until his spirit falls asleep. What will make your spirit to fall asleep is when you lose concentration in what you are hearing.

62.     When a student loses concentration in the lecture that is on, automatically his mind wanders away. His body will be in the lecture hall. Before you know it, his colleagues will be waking him up.

63.     THE MOMENT YOUR MIND WANDERS AWAY, YOUR ENEMY WHO IS ALWAYS BEHIND YOU WILL CAPTURE YOUR MIND, AND THEN BEGIN TO USE YOUR MIND AGAINST YOU. 

64.     The aim is to make you not to grasp what the lecturer is teaching. It is a very painful situation. Catch Me.

65.     After going through Epistle 16 in The Great Sermon, go back to that same Message, THIS MAN: HE IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

66.     If you can understand it and tie it to all the Messages so far reviewed, WHO DOYOU SAY THE SON OF MAN IS? WHO IS THE SON OF MAN TO YOU?

67.     THE SON OF MAN has been revealing Himself all this while. This morning also, He posted worldwide, a Message that will help them the more.

68.     So He is now recovering for the last time, from all the ends of the earth, those who were exiled from Him. During the lockdown, too many were exiled from God. Many families went astray. Husbands and wives; All of them, children notwithstanding. No exemption!

69.     And now that I am about to Passover, I am extending My hands to all the four corners of the earth with the intent to recover all. It is prophetic. It is scriptural.

YOU EITHER RECEIVE GOD’S BLESSINGS OR HIS CURSES 

Let somebody read it either in Living Bible or Amplified or in any translation. Isaiah 52 from verse 1 through 4. I believe something is there.

2.       Amplified version of the Bible.1AWAKE, AWAKE, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. 

3.       2Shake yourself from the dust; arise, sit [erect in a dignified place], O Jerusalem; loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion.

4.       3For thus says the Lord: You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.4For thus says the Lord God: My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there; and [many years later Sennacherib] the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. [Now I delivered you from both Egypt and Assyria; what then can prevent Me from delivering you from Babylon?]

11.     3For this is what the Lord says: “You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.”

12.     Good News Bible.1Jerusalem, be strong and great again! Holy City of God, clothe yourself with splendour! The heathen will never enter your gates again.

13.     2Shake yourself free, Jerusalem! Rise from the dust and sit on your throne! Undo the chains that bind you, captive people of Zion.

14.     3The Sovereign LORD says to His people, When you became slaves, no money was paid for you; in the same way nothing will be paid to set you free.

15.     Isaiah 52:1 – 5. Living Bible Translation. [1]Wake up, wake up, Jerusalem, and clothe yourselves with strength from God. Put on your beautiful clothes, O Zion, Holy City; for sinners—those who turn from God—will no longer enter your gates.

16.     [2]Rise from the dust, Jerusalem; take off the slave bands from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.[3]For the Lord says: When I sold you into exile, I asked no fee from your oppressors; now I can take you back again and owe them not a cent! 

17.     [4]My people were tyrannized without cause by Egypt and Assyria, and I delivered them.

18.     [5]And now, what is this? asks the Lord. Why are my people enslaved again and oppressed without excuse? Those who rule them shout in exultation, and my name is constantly blasphemed day by day. Amen!

19.     I warned against second captivity in the hand of the devil. And it is because of that that the LORD has extended His arms to recover all of them from all the nations, for God never sold His people into the hands of the heathens.

20.     Rather, our people decided to draw back from God, and they were captured by their enemies.

21.     This morning, I want us to read together using Living Bible translations, Psalms 24 verses 1 through 10.

22.     [1]The earth belongs to God! Everything in all the world is his! [2]He is the one who pushed the oceans back to let dry land appear.

23.     [3]Who may climb the mountain of the Lord and enter where he lives? Who may stand before the Lord? [4]Only those with pure hands and hearts, who do not practice dishonesty and lying.

24.     [5]They will receive God’s own goodness as their blessing from him, planted in their lives by God himself, their Savior.[6]These are the ones who are allowed to stand before the Lord and worship the God of Jacob.

25.     [7]Open up, O ancient gates, and let the King of Glory in.[8]Who is this King of Glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, invincible in battle.

26.     [9]Yes, open wide the gates and let the King of Glory in.[10]Who is this King of Glory? The Commander of all of heaven’s armies!

27.     Amplified Version of the Bible.1THE EARTH is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it. 2For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the currents and the rivers.

28.     3Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place?

29.     4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully. 

30.     5He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

31.     6This is the generation [description] of those who seek Him [who inquire of and for Him and of necessity require Him], who seek Your face, [O God of] Jacob. Selah [pause, and think of that]!

32.     7Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in.

33.     8WHO IS THE KING OF GLORY? THE LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY, THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE.

34.     9Lift up your heads, O you gates; yes, lift them up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10WHO IS [HE THEN] THIS KING OF GLORY? THE LORD OF HOSTS, HE IS THE KING OF GLORY. SELAH [PAUSE, AND THINK OF THAT]!

35.     I think we have seen the King of Glory. He is the Commander-In-Chief of the LORD’s Army.

36.     You can see the categories of people that are qualified to live with Him in His own house. His house is not the abode of every kind of persons.

37.     Only peculiar people, special people, chosen for that purpose, who will fulfill His eternal purpose will stand before Him and dwell with Him.

38.     Crafty people can never stand before Him. Crafty people; disobedient people, obstinate and hard-hearted people can never enjoy His blessings.

39.     IF YOU DO NOT ENJOY GOD’S BLESSINGS, YOU WILL ENJOY GOD’S CURSES.

40.     This is because when you go to Deuteronomy chapter 8, God specified all that wish to be blessed by the Almighty God, what should be their character? When they choose to do otherwise, curses will follow them.

41.     Deuteronomy 8:1 – 20 Living Bible. [1]“You must obey all the commandments I give you today. If you do, you will not only live, you will multiply and will go in and take over the land promised to your fathers by the Lord.

42.     [2]Do you remember how the Lord led you through the wilderness for all those forty years, humbling you and testing you to find out how you would respond, and whether or not you would really obey him?

43.     [3]Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to both you and your ancestors. He did it to help you realize that food isn’t everything, and that real life comes by obeying every command of God.

44.     [4]For all these forty years your clothes haven’t grown old, and your feet haven’t been blistered or swollen. [5]So you should realize that, as a man punishes his son, the Lord punishes you to help you. 

45.     [6]“Obey the laws of the Lord your God. Walk in his ways and fear him. [7]For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land of brooks, pools, gushing springs, valleys, and hills; [8]it is a land of wheat and barley, of grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, olives, and honey;

46.     [9]it is a land where food is plentiful, and nothing is lacking; it is a land where iron is as common as stone, and copper is abundant in the hills.[10]When you have eaten your fill, bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.

47.     [11]“But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you don’t forget the Lord your God and begin to disobey him.

48.     [12](12-13) For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in, and when your flocks and herds have become very large, and your silver and gold have multiplied,

49.     [14]that is the time to watch out that you don’t become proud and forget the Lord your God who brought you out of your slavery in the land of Egypt.

50.     [15]Beware that you don’t forget the God who led you through the great and terrible wilderness with the dangerous snakes and scorpions, where it was so hot and dry. He gave you water from the rock!

51.     [16]He fed you with manna in the wilderness (it was a kind of bread unknown before) so that you would become humble and so that your trust in him would grow, and he could do you good.

52.     [17]He did it so that you would never feel that it was your own power and might that made you wealthy.[18]Always remember that it is the Lord your God who gives you power to become rich, and he does it to fulfill his promise to your ancestors.

53.     [19]“But if you forget about the Lord your God and worship other gods instead, and follow evil ways, you shall certainly perish,[20]just as the Lord has caused other nations in the past to perish. That will be your fate, too, if you don’t obey the Lord your God.

54.     I do not think that there is any human being who is in his or her right mind and sense who will be desiring God’s curses. Nobody can kneel down and say, “God, I am desiring your curses.”

55.     If we are desiring God’s blessings, it then means we must volunteer; we must desire to walk according to His precepts. True or false?

56.     This is because, that is that is the only way we can attract His blessings. On the contrary, we must attract His curses.

57.     You see, when the children of Israel became disobedient, the LORD cast them off and call them cursed children. Cursed children!

58.     Who will like to receive a curse from his earthly father or mother. If you are afraid of the curse that will come from your earthly parents, would you not be sore afraid of God.

59.     If, when your parents threaten you with a curse, you go and kneel down and ask for forgiveness because you want to obtain blessings from them, what will be your attitude when you have noticed that you have provoked God to the extent that He is now fixed to place curses upon you?

60.     This is because when a land is watered; a land is well taken care of, good seeds are planted in that land, and in return, it produces thistles; things that are offensive to the farmer, will the farmer be happy with that land?

61.     Instead of blessings, He will place curses. That is why a time came when the people of the Jews misbehaved so much that the LORD called heaven and earth for a witness against them and said, “O ye people of Israel, come and tell Me what My offense is.”

62.     I want to know that which I ought to do to this farmland which I did not do. I planted My vineyard. I cleared the forest. I fenced it making sure no predators or rodents will come in to damage the crops.

63.     I watered it during the dry season. I did weeding in that farm, morning, afternoon and night. I never rested, just to make sure there was no unhealthy competition between the crops and the weeds. I was aiming at getting a bumper harvest during the harvest period.

64.     Night and day, I never ceased from taking care of this farm. You are My witnesses. Now, I have come with My baskets, intending to harvest what I laboured for.

65.     Unfortunately, looking at the whole farm, I could see nothing but dead fruits; useless fruits. Things that are not even worthy to be harvested, to be eaten, to be sold or to be kept in the barn.

66.     And then My question is, “O My people, If anybody knows what I should do to this farm or what I should have done that would have made it to produce the expected bumper harvest, but which I refused to do, please testify against Me.”

67.     Everywhere was filled with silence. There was not even one that could say, “O farmer, if you had done this or that, that would have helped the situation.”

68.     This is because I applied manure. I applied water. I sowed the right seed. I took care of the farm, morning, afternoon and night. I provided all that the crops needed to survive and yield good fruits.Ifenced it to make sure that wild animals do not enter.I monitored it night and day. But during the harvest, see what I am facing here.

69.     He said, “Let the land itself testify against Me. Let heaven and earth bear witness against Me if I had shunned from doing everything that is needed to make this vineyard, there was chilly silence.”

70.     The LORD asked them another question, “Now recommend to Me what you would like Me to do to this vineyard, for I have no other option left than one thing. That one thing is, for I have made up My mind, to hew all the trees down; to bulldoze all and to make sure that not even one lives in My presence. Let Me see whether I can recover My empty land. I am destroying all.”

71.     I had already given it the first opportunity. I gave it the second opportunity because you pleaded. You said that you will give Me better hand who will assist Me and you did.

72.     Two years after, there was no harvest. I wanted to destroy it but you said no, that I should grant you another one year.You came en-masse and assisted Me. After the one year, I saw nothing.

73.     Now, I decided to pass My night everyday with this vineyard. Night and day, I am with this vineyard. Let Me know whether the problem is with the soil or with the type of seeds I planted or with the type of manure or my carelessness. Let Me find out where this problem is coming from.

74.     And after one full year, I exhausted everything a farmer should do with a vineyard to get a bumper harvest. And now, look at what I have seen.

75.     If I pull it down and destroy it; get rid of it from My eyes, will I be blamed?

76.     And the LORD referred to the people of Israel and said, “YOU ARE THIS VINEYARD.YOU ARE THIS VINEYARD.”

BEWARE OF SECOND SPIRITUAL CAPTIVITY 

Let Me go to the Scriptures because I said I am running a Teaching this morning. Before I will give it a topic, I want us to read from the living Bible translation, 1st Samuel chapter 4 verses 8 through 9.

2.       [8]Who can save us from these mighty gods of Israel? … The Philistines were asking the question. The Philistines were known enemies of God. There was a strong enmity between the Philistines and Israel in the days of Prophet Samuel.

3.       Philistines hated the God of Israel. They hated all Israelis. Israelis also hated them. They knew about the fame of the God of Israel, just like the Moabites.

4.       When they were coming from Egypt, the Moabites heard about the destructions the God of Israel wrought on the cities they passed through, and they became afraid if they should allow them to pass through their land, all their land and crops will be completely ravaged. Or that they might even destroy the least in their midst.

5.       [8]Who can save us from these mighty gods of Israel? They are the same gods who destroyed the Egyptians with plagues when Israel was in the wilderness.

6.       [9]Fight as you never have before, O Philistines, or we will become their slaves just as they have been ours.”

7.       Good News Bible. 8Who can save us from those powerful gods? They are the gods who slaughtered the Egyptians in the desert!

8.       Be brave, Philistines! Fight like men, or we will become slaves to the Hebrews, just as they were our slaves, So fight like men!

9.       New International Version. 8Woe to us! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? They are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the desert.

10.     9Be strong, Philistines! Be men, or you will be subject to the Hebrews, as they have been to you. Be men, and fight!”

11.     King James version.8Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

12.     9Be strong, and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.

13.     1 Samuel 4:8 – 9 Amplified version. 8Woe to us! Who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods that smote the Egyptians with every kind of plague in the wilderness.

14.     9Be strong, and acquit yourselves like men,…Do what? Be strong! Quit yourselves like men…O you Philistines, that you may not become servants to the Hebrews, as they have been to you; behave yourselves like men, and fight! Amen.

15.     The Scriptures says, “AS THEY HAVE BEEN TO YOU.” So, there was a time the Hebrews were their servants. Did you get the Message?

16.     There was a time we were servants to the devil, serving diverse lusts. There was a time we were in captivity in the hand of the devil, fulfilling his interest. And the LORD God Almighty came, delivered us and pulled us out. Did you get the Message?

17.     He created enmity between us and our task masters. He created enmity between us and the devil. Who held us hostage over the years.

18.     Remember we were in his hands until the time the kindness and mercy projected. He now saved us. If He did not come to save us from the hand of the devil, we would have remained like any other person in the world today. True or false?

19.     You are rejoicing in the hope; You are worshipping in the hope of eternal life simply because you have been set free from your captors. The devil and his agents have lost grip over you.

20.     And now they have declared what? A warfare! When Israel left, they declared war. Did you get the Message?

21.     The Philistines are now all out to defend themselves, for the people they have already enslaved have regained their freedom. And now, they have turned against those that enslaved them.

22.     If you were in bondage in the hand of the devil, and Christ has set you free, what do you do? Do you go and embrace the devil again? You see why we must be very careful.

23.     Many were delivered and they deliberately, due to lust, long-throat [unbridled appetite] due to lust. Lust of the flesh. Lust of the eyes.

24.     Inordinate worldly desires pushed them back again to be enslaved the second time. And now, their conditions have become much more horrible than it was when they were delivered.

25.     This is because when you have known the truth; your eyes of understanding have been illuminated; you have tasted the goodness of the LORD; you have tasted the powers of the world to come; you have become a beneficiary of God’s blessings, and eventually, because of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes; what sinful men and women desire and which have no eternal benefit, you gradually, stealthily, craftily and subtly go back to the same devil that held you hostage.

26.     The Bible said, you cannot be redeemed anyhow again, for you are crucifying Christ a second time. You are counting the blood of your salvation of none effect.

27.     So your estate has become worse than it was before the truth came to you. Why? The dog has gone back to its vomit.

28.     Do you kneel down and beg your enemy to leave you? You give your enemy command. If you have been delivered, your eyes will be open. You will begin to count what you lost when you were in captivity.

29.     You will realize that you would have progressed more if you were not held captive. This is because nothing denies someone of success; real success more than iniquity.

30.     INIQUITY HINDERS SUCCESS. INIQUITY STAGNATES A MAN. IT STAGNATES A WOMAN. DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE? DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE? DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE?

31.     When we were living our lives in the world, we never knew we were losing many things that could have helped us to progress in life until Christ came our ways.

32.     And we began to see the extent we wandered in ignorance, wasted our precious time, wasted our precious money, and wasted energy in things that have no profit. We regretted our past lives. Is it not true?

33.     Anybody who is delivered, and he is still having his eyes on the cucumber, garlic, green pepper and water melon of Egypt, has he been delivered?

34.     YOU ARE NOT DELIVERED UNTIL YOUR SPIRIT IS COMPLETELY DELIVERED AND ENMITY IS CREATED BETWEEN YOUR NEW LIFE AND YOUR OLD LIFE. AM I MAKING SENSE AT ALL?

35.     William Branham said, “You cannot fight any battle until you have been endued with the Holy Spirit.” That is the moment a child of God is baptized by the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Truth.

36.     By baptism, he means the moment he is immersed; the moment he is lowered deeply into the truth, truth envelops him, he said, “That time battle starts.”

37.     What are you going to battle with? You are going to battle with your known enemy, and we have one common enemy. And who is that common enemy?

38.     Anything that is opposing salvation; our deliverance. Anything that is opposing our race to eternal life; whatever the thing might look like; no matter where it exists, we MUST be strong and fight it out.

39.     Watch what the Philistines said to themselves, “Now, O ye Philistines, remember there was a time these Jewish people were in your custody, we were using them as slaves and as we wished. And now, their God who is an expert in conquering nations has come and conquered Egypt, conquered all our neighbouring cities. He has delivered them from our hands. Now, they are set for war against us. ”Did you get the Message?

40.     The Bible said, “The moment Christ has delivered us from the hands of the devil, that is the time we can now boldly stand and revenge.” You revenge the devil.

41.     The devil, you have troubled Me too much and for too long. And God has given Me victory. Now, I am going to avenge. You declare war. Andyou cannot kneel down and begin to declare that war. You stand up!

42.     Do you kneel down before your enemy? He will simply use two hands and lift you up, and embrace you again.

43.     You stand up! The song said, “Stand up and stand up for Christ. Lift up the banner.” You know what the banner is.

44.     LIFT UP THE WORD! LIFT UP THE STANDARD BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN ENVELOPED, BEING IMMERSED IN THE WATER WHICH IS THE WORD – CLEANSED.

45.     But where you are still having your desires out there, but your body is still with the people in the Wilderness, you are the most wicked human being that can be traced to such a Holy Assembly; A Holy Congregation.

46.     This is where the LORD said, “Be ye holy, for I your LORD am holy. I have severed you from among other people that you may be mine.”

47.     14[Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel].15But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.16For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy. [1st Peter 1:14 – 16 AMP]

48.     I have severed you from other nations where you were captured. You have stayed there for too long and learned their ways eating, drinking, talking and doing everything. Is it not true? Where you were practicing wild profligacies.

BLOW THE BRIDGE THAT LINKS YOU TO YOUR ENEMY [1] 

Now, you are delivered, enmity MUST be created. You MUST break that bridge. Blow that bridge down. Blow it down so that there would not be anywhere the thing can cross again.

2.       THAT BRIDGE THAT LINKS YOU WITH THE DEVIL MUST BE BROKEN. DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE?

3.       THERE IS NO HUMAN BEING THAT DOES NOT HAVE A BRIDGE FROM WHERE HE CROSSES TO THE ENEMY’S TERRITORY; AND THE ENEMY ALSO CROSSES OVER TO HIS TERRITORY.

4.       UNTIL THAT BRIDGE IS BROKEN, COMMUNICATION WILL STILL BE THERE. DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE? INTERACTIONS WILL STILL BE THERE. AM I MAKING SENSE?

5.       [NUMBER 1] TODAY, THE SHORTEST BRIDGE IS THE TELEPHONE. THE HANDSET! THE HANDSET HAS CONSTRUCTED THE SHORTEST AND THE STRONGEST BRIDGE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR ENEMY.

6.       IT CREATED A VERY WIDE EXPRESS BRIDGE WHERE ALL EVIL DESIRES, EVIL PICTURES, EVIL MESSAGES, EVIL COMMUNICATIONS AND EVERYTHINGIS FLOODING IN. AND THERE IS NO CUSTOMS OFFICER CHECKING IT AT BOTH ENDS.

7.       THIS IS BECAUSE IT GOES DIRECT TO THE RECIPIENT. THERE IS NO WAY ANYBODY CAN INTERCEPT IT ON THE WAY.

8.       If you are carrying contraband items in your vehicle, if the police does not catch you, customs will catch you. Other security agents will catch you. Did you get the Message?

9.       In those days when we were using NITEL land line, there is no way you can do it. You must be caught, because before you do it, it must register on the phone board and they will catch you there.

10.     But this one is wireless. This one uses radio communication wave. And then, it is so designed every man is assigned to his own particular line.

11.     Whenever God comes up with any invention, the devil is there to hijack it. Did you get the Message? Whenever God comes up with any invention that will help mankind, the devil must surely hijack it.

12.     Tell Me. Is there any invention the devil has not hijacked?The devil has turned the ship, the aeroplane and vehicles to weapons of mass destruction. True or false?

13.     Was it the intention of the manufacturers? He wanted to ease the sufferings of the people. But they now increase the death of the people. AM I making sense at all? I hope you are catching Me.

14.     I am saying that the bridge must be broken. Will you break a bridge you do not identify? Identify the bridge and see how broad that bridge is. It is a broad way. A highway! Every Tom, Dick and Harry is lying on that highway.

15.     But on that highway, there is always a Way. In every highway, there is always a Way. And that “A Way” is a little away from the highway.

16.     On the highway, speed is very high. Accidents are always very fatal. Did you get the Message?

17.     But on that “A Way”, the Bible calls it “A Way for the wayfaring men.”

18.     8And a highway shall be there, and a way; and it shall be called the Holy Way. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed; the wayfaring men, yes, the simple ones and fools, shall not err in it and lose their way.9No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk on it. [Isaiah 35:8 – 9 AMP]

19.      “A Way” is always very rough and full of potholes. Anybody who wants to ply on that way using that particular “A Way” away from the highway will get to his destination safe, but he will arrive late.

20.     It is better to arrive late than to be the late. It is better to move slowly and arrive late than to move very fast on the fasthighway; fast lane and arrive as a “late Brother so so and so” who wanted to reach his destination very fast and he increased his speed on his way to hell.

21.     William Branham said, “People apply the greatest speed on the highway that leads to hell; the highway that leads to destruction.” Did you get the Message?

22.     Watch our own day today and see our youths who are desiring to catch the wind. See the speed with which they are moving on that highway, and see the rate at which they are dying. Did you get the Message?

23.     But watch that “A Way”. A way away from the highway. Watch the people that are there. Watch the youngmen that are there. They are very sober. They are very intelligent. They are wise. They take one step at a time. They are never in a haste, for they know that what matters is getting to their targets.

24.     But the other one wants to make a journey of two days in one second. AM I making sense? He wants to regain the time lost, which he lost in the hand of the devil when he was in Satan’s captivity where he wasted his time.

25.     Now, he never knew that the secret lies in turning his back against that way [highway]. Let there be enmity in your heart against that way [highway]. Even if your friends will lure you, “Let us go. It will make our journey faster”, Say No! Amen!

26.     YOU CANNOT BREAK RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DEVIL AND STILL ALLOW THAT PATHWAY THAT LINKS THE TWO OF YOU TO REMAIN UNBROKEN.

27.     We were all in the world. We tasted the world to some extent. We had friends in the world. If they were real friends, why are they not with us today? Did we quarrel? What brought the separation?

28.     Is it not our belief in Christ that separated us, both man and woman? I had My own friends. We parted. I never told them to part, even those from My hometown.

29.     My wife had her own friends. She never told any of them to part. They never quarreled, but when she embraced the truth and manifested the truth, all of them ran away.

30.     A sure sign that the unity was unity in falsehood. It was not Christ.

31.     If I tell you what I believe and manifest it, and you cut off friendship from Me, then I will know that you are a destroyer.

32.     YOU ARE NOT A FRIEND UNTIL YOU ARE A FRIEND OF CHRIST. AND I AM NOT A FRIEND UNTIL I AM A FRIEND OF CHRIST.

33.     On Saturday morning, we read it from the Scriptures from the Book of Proverbs; Somebody who wants to be God’s friend, what should be his character? Who can quote it here?

34.     Proverbs 22:11. Let us read it in Living Bible and Amplified version. Let us see what should be the attitude of anybody who wants to be God’s friend.

35.     Even in Psalms 119 also, who should be your Brother? Who should be by your Sister? The Scriptures said, “Whoever that fears the LORD, and reverences the LORD; He is My Brother, he is My Sister.” He is My all and all.

36.     You have no Brother except in Christ. No wife except in Christ. No husband and no child except in Christ.

37.     Proverbs 22:11. Amplified. 11He who loves purity and the pure in heart and who is gracious in speech–because of the grace of his lips will he have the king for his friend.

38.     Good News Bible. 11If you love purity of heart… There are too many people that have nothing to do with purity of heart. They will say, “What will I do with a pure heart? Let it be bad and dirty, provided I get what I am looking for.”

39.     …and graciousness of speech, the KING will be your friend. 

40.     Living Bible. He who values Grace and Truth is the KING’s friend. Who? He who values Grace and Truth is the KING’s friend. Who? He who values Grace and Truth is the KING’s friend.

41.     And Grace and truth came by the Lord Jesus Christ. Is it not true? If you value these gifts; if you value this Man Who has introduced Grace and Truth, you will be the LORD’s friend.

42.     Proverbs 22:11. New International Version. 11He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.

43.     Amen. The KING; We have seen Him. The LORD. When you value Grace and Truth, automatically, you become the LORD’s friend. 

44.     But when you do not value it; you treat it with contempt or you abuse it, will you be the LORD’s friend? Automatically, you will be the LORD’s enemy.

45.     Begin now to see where your standpoint is; whether you are standing in His presence as enemy or as a friend. And when you die in this your estate, you will not die like Job. You will never meet God as a friend.

46.     Moreso, when you were His enemy, at the time when you were alive. Will the grave change the relationship?

47.     The grave can never change the relationship, for Hebrews 9:27 said, “It is appointed unto man once to die. After that judgment follows.”

48.     27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: KJV

49.     So there is no way you can be God’s enemy here, and become His friend or meet Him as a friend on the day of resurrection or you win in the judgment. Never! Amen.

BLOW THE BRIDGE THAT LINKS YOU TO YOUR ENEMY [2]

Let us go further. I have shown you what the Philistines said to all the youths; men. The Scriptures said, “Quit, everybody like men. Fight your enemies now as you have never fought them before. Be strong. Do not relent. Do not sleep. Do not doze, until your enemies are crushed; until the enemy of yesterday is seen no more.” It is only then that you have regained your liberty.

2.       When fighting the enemy, God said, “IT IS OPERATION NO MERCY.” Do you show mercy to the devil? Does he show you mercy? Is there anybody whom the devil shows mercy.

3.       When the devil comes to deceive you, does he show mercy to you? when he wants to use you as his instrument, does he show you mercy? When you are fighting him, do you show him mercy.

4.       You must destroy all the devil had built in your life. Pull all of them down with malice. Hate them with perfect hatred, like the Philistines hated Israel with perfect hatred. And then marshaled out troops to get them crushed, empowering them with kinds of weapons of warfare to make sure that they will fight and win like gallant soldiers.

5.       21Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And am I not grieved and do I not loathe those who rise up against You? 22I hate them with perfect hatred; they have become my enemies. [Psalms 139:21 – 22 AMP]

6.       Quit like men! Be brave! Be gallant! Display all the powers you have accumulated as soldiers during your training period. 

7.       Why do we train soldiers before deploying them? It is to give them all that they need. It is to equip them to know all the tactics their enemies will employ. Is it not true.

8.       That is why the Bible said, “We are no longer ignorant of the devices of the devil.”

9.       11lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. [2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV]

10.     We are now ready to combat him, no matter the angle he is coming from, for we know all his antics. We know how he comes into our lives. 

11.     Now that the bridge has been identified, remember that this communication bridge is not visible, but the gadget is visible. Did you get the Message?

12.     Did he say you should destroy the gadget? What did He say you should destroy? The bridge. The Bridge. The communication Bridge. Did you get what I am saying?

13.     Did He say, “Block it?” He said, “Break it into pieces. Evacuate it. Let it not come to your ears, talkless of talking. Destroy it!”

14.     [NUMBER 2] Then, another one is CONTACT. PHYSCIAL CONTACT. Beware of that evil companionship, for evil companionship destroys good character.

15.     Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. [1 Corinthians 15:33]

16.     Your character oftentimes are reflections of the people you mingle with physically. The Bible said, “When you mingle with the fools, you become foolish. If you mingle with the wise, you become wise.”

17.     He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise, But the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm. [Proverbs 13:20 AMP]

18.     And nobody can know this truth more than God. If you want to be wise, you mingle with the wise. If you want to be progressive in Christ, you mingle with those who are making steady progress in Christ.

19.     This is because you must examine your daily character in line with the Faith and whether you are progressively bearing the fruits thereof.

20.     YOU KNOW, WHEN WE MENTION PROGRESS, FOOLS’ MINDS WILL GO TO MATERIAL THINGS, BUT THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT GOD MEASURES PROGRESS BY SPIRITUAL MATTERS.

21.     A CARNALLY MINDED MAN IS ONLY MINDFUL OF THE PROGRESS IN THE EYES OF THE CARNAL MEN BECAUSE HE WANTS TO IMPRESS THEM.

22.     BUT A SPIRITUALLY MINDED FELLOW IS ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT GOD AND VERY MUCH CONCERNED ABOUT HIS FUTURE WHICH IS TIED TO GOD’S SUPPORT.

23.     THIS IS BECAUSE WHEN GOD SUPPORTS YOU, VICTORY IS SURE. IF GOD IS NOT WITH YOU, DANGER IS THERE. AMEN.

24.     PHYSICAL CONTACT: Evil communications spoils good character. You cannot mingle with a leper without having a handshake with the leper. And once you have a handshake with the leper, you have contacted leprosy. You are leprous immediately.

25.     Look at this COVID-19. A very infectious disease. If it is noticed that somebody who is infected has come into this family, all of us MUST be quarantined. Is it not true?

26.     We automatically become potential carriers. So, for that reason, we are warned to do what? Social distance! That is the only language I love in the social media.

27.     DISTANCE YOUR ENEMY. DO NOT EMBRACE YOUR ENEMY. YOUR ENEMY REQUIRES A SOCIAL DISTANCE, AS WELL AS SPIRITUAL DISTANCE.

28.     THE MOMENT YOU DISTANCE SPIRITUALLY, IT WILL REFLECT IN YOUR ATTITUDE AND CHARACTER TOWARDS THAT PERSON. TRUE OR FALSE?

29.     WHEN YOU ARE WALKING IN ONE MIND AND IN ONE ACCORD, NOTHING STOPS YOU FROM EMBRACING. YOU HAVE A COMMON GROUND. THAT IS WHY YOU ARE AGREEING.

30.     But the two can never walk together except they agreed. True or false?

31.     Can two walk together, except they be agreed? [Amos 3:3 KJV]

32.     SOCIAL DISTANCE AND SPIRITUAL DISTANCE MUST BE OBSERVED BECAUSE THE BELIEVER SHOULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN COMMON WITH THE UNBELIEVERS.

33.     WHEN YOU ARE YOKED TOGETHER UNDER ONE COMMON GROUND, THAT COMMON GROUND BECOMES A COMPROMISE GROUND. I SAY, A COMPROMISE GROUND.

34.     ANYBODY WHO CANNOT AVOID ANYTHING AS A RESULT OF HIS BELIEF IN CHRIST HAS NEVER BELIEVED IN GOD.

35.     IF YOUR FAITH PERMITS YOU TO BE FOUND EVERYWHERE AND TO DO EVERYTHING AS YOU WISH JUST TO PLEASE YOUR CONSCIENCE AND PLEASE THE WORLD, YOU HAVE NEVER EMBRACED CHRIST FOR ONE DAY.

36.     YOU WANT TO MAKE YOURSELF A FRIEND OF WORLD, AND THE GREATEST ENEMY OF GOD. THE WORLD WILL CLAP HANDS FOR YOU AND STAND UP FOR YOU, WHEN THE LORD HAS ALREADY DESTINED YOU TO DESTRUCTION.

37.     AND ON THAT DAY THE PEOPLE WHO STOOD UP AND CLAPPED HANDS FOR YOU WILL NOT DELIVER YOU.

38.     21And they all shall appear before God (on the Day of Resurrection) then the weak will say to those who were arrogant (chiefs): “Verily, we were following you; can you avail us anything from God’s Torment?” They will say: “Had God guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience, there is no place of refuge for us.” 

39.     22And Shaitân (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: “Verily, God promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, so you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with God (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).”

40.     Who will deliver you from the hand of God Who is Strong and Mighty? The Warrior Who has destroyed people like Pharaoh; people like Herod; people like Pilate; people like Ahab, Jezebel, Jeroboam, Rehoboam, Agag and too many kings.

41.     Then who are you? A feeble ant! I say, a feeble ant. An Igbo adage says that when Nza[one of the smallest birds] has eaten to its satisfactory, it will throw a challenge to its god. The tiny bird will challenge its god to a wrestling match. When this bird has eaten to its satisfaction, it will challenge its god to a wrestling contest.

OPERATION “SHOW NO MERCY” 

Let Me go to another Scripture before I go to My topic. Remember I am handling a Teaching. I will give it a title a time from now.

2.       Use any translation of the Bible. 1 Kings 2:1 – 4. When David was about to die, David knew at the age of 70 that His departure has come near.

3.       The same way, Peter knew the time of His departure. Saint Paul knew the hour of His departure. The Lord Jesus Christ knew the hour of His departure. Samuel knew the hour of His departure. And many others like that. Even Isaac knew the hour. Jacob knew the hour.

4.       Now look at David. David knew that the hour of His departure was approaching rapidly. See what He said.

5.       [1]As the time of King David’s death approached, he gave this charge to his son Solomon:

6.       Did He give the charge to all His children? He singled out Solomon. He singled out Solomon. A baby of circumstance.

7.       Of all the sons from the many wives He married, there was not even one He depended on other than His last son. He depended on His last son. A son of His pleasure. A son of His consolation. A son that was aforetime spoken of by the Almighty.

8.       When He was not yet born, God knew what Solomon would be and said, “David, you will not build a house for Me, for your hand is bloody, but Solomon, your last is the one who will build it.”

9.       Not Absalom. Not Adonijah. Not the rest of them. He had too many sons. He had too many daughters, for He married many wives. And there was no barren one except Michal, the daughter of Saul. All of them had children, sons and daughters.

10.     But look at this one. A baby of circumstance, born in due time through Bath-Sheba. You know the history. God is mysterious. I say, God is mysterious.

11.     And there is no record that after Solomon, that Bath-Sheba gave birth to another child. Did you get the Message?

12.     Now when David summoned Him, did He summon the rest? You see why God knows what He is doing in every dispensation, though He may be grossly misunderstood.

13.     David knew He was the last son of Jesse. Of all the sons of Jesse, David was the least, taking care of the sheep in the forest.

14.     When God wanted to make a choice of who will replace Saul, His name was not even remembered by the father. He presented all his sons except David.

15.     Samuel was the one that asked him, “Is there no other son born by you Jesse? Or do you want to make me a liar and a false prophet? I came for one.”

16.     Jesse said, “He is a little boy out there in the forest, taking care of my sheep.” The Prophet said, “Go and fetch him.”

17.     While he was coming in, the Bible said, “The spirit of the LORD rested on Samuel, and he proclaimed, “This is the Man I have chosen. This is the Man I have chosen.”” Is it not Scripture? I have read it before you over and over.

18.     When God makes His choice, it is final, age notwithstanding; position in the family notwithstanding.

19.     And immediately, David exhibited it. He became desirous of going to war at that tender age, even when he could not carry arms. His senior brothers were hindering Him, chasing Him away from the war front.

20.     He was very very sad and said, “How can I stand here and see these uncircumcised Philistines casting aspersions on My God, the God of Israel simply because all of you soldiers are indolent. Not even one could quit like men to outwit Goliath. Why allowing this beast to be threatening My people? O My brethren, please permit Me. I want to confront him.”

21.     His father said, “O, this man! This Man! This Man! This Man! You are coming up as a Man. I can see you as a brave boy. You have the boldness. You have the inertia. You have the strength. You have the vision. You have the spirit.”

22.     The Bible said, “Filled with the unction of the Almighty God, he took His catapult, went there, took permission from the centurion and then said, “Permit Me to go after him.””

23.     He moved forward. When Saul dressed Him with military uniform, the Bible said that He could not walk. He could not carry the weight. He said, “Undress Me.”

24.     He moved forward with the catapult and saw the man. He saw the giant as ordinary rat and said, “Well, your height is rubbish before Me. You are coming to My people with your strength and might; with your armies; with bows and arrows and other weapons, but I am coming to you in the name of the God of Israel this day. And I must dislodge you.”

25.     The Bible said, “He laughed and laughed. I will tear this boy into pieces and feed him to the fowls of the air.”

26.     David dressed back, picked the five stones in his pocket. With one only, the thing hit the forehead of Goliath. The Bible said, “and penetrated the skull” The giant fell down.

27.     Quit like men! When you are fighting your enemy, it is “OPERATION SHOW NO MERCY.” The devil has been your enemy. The devil has been wicked to you all these years and you know it not.

28.     ANYBODY THAT WILL MAKE YOU GOD’S ENEMY IS YOUR GREATEST ENEMY. ANY HABIT, ANY CHARACTER, ANY SPIRIT THAT IS DWELLING IN YOU THAT IS MAKING GOD TO HATE YOU, IS YOUR GREATEST ENEMY.

29.     YOU ARE HARBOURING YOUR ENEMY AND YOU KNOW IT NOT; WHO CLAIMS TO BE OFFERING YOU LIBERTY IN EVIL. BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW HE IS OFFERING YOU DESTRUCTION UNTIL YOU ARE COMPLETELY CAST AWAY FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD. THEN YOUR EYES WILL OPEN.

30.     You will see the havoc you have caused yourself by not waging real war against those evil armies; evil spirits and demons. Your inability to break the bridge that connects you with those spirits, for words are spirits.

31.     [1]As the time of King David’s death approached, He gave this charge to His son, Solomon. Sure!

32.     [2]“I am going where every man on earth must someday go. I am going where every man on earth MUST SURELY go if translation does not take place while we are alive. We will be numbered among those that will take flesh in the first resurrection. Is it not true?

33.     If we happen to stay alive and it takes place, praise God. while we live, we live in Christ. While we die, we die in Christ, and there is great gain, for precious in the sight of God is the death of His Saint.

34.     For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.[Philippians 1:21 KJV]

35.     Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. [Psalms 116:15 KJV]

36.     Anybody who cannot bear the calamity, God knows what He will do to help his faith, so that on the resurrection morning, he will be numbered among the Saints who will come out first.

37.     When the time of His departure approached, he privately singled out one of his sons called Solomon, “My dear, I love you because God loves you. The time of My departure is near. Any moment from now, I am going the way of all men. I am joining My ancestors for good and not for evil.”

38.     [1]As the time of King David’s death approached, He gave this charge to His son, Solomon.

39.     [2]“I am going where every man on earth must someday go. I AM COUNTING ON YOU TO BE A STRONG AND WORTHY SUCCESSOR.

40.     Oooh No! You see! Remember the Message I gave you some time ago of how people blindly terminated their dynasties. People blindly terminated their dynasties.

41.     Their Royal priesthood, the Royal estate of the family can be terminated. Did you get what I am saying?

42.     A woman can terminate her Royal estate as a wife, just like Queen Vashti. AM I making sense? Ooooh No! How I wish all of you will understand this teaching.

43.     Watch! I mentioned many cases. God said that Saul was chosen as the first king of Israel, with God’s intention that he will rule well and rule forever. 

44.     But because of the evil that was found in him, Saul, while he was alive, the dynasty left his family and went to the family of Jesse. Did you get the Message now?

45.     So it happened to the priesthood. Look at Eli. Look at this Samuel also. The priesthood left Eli’s family. Because of the evils of his two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, the priesthood departed and went to Samuel. The dynasty!

46.     We have too many of them today naturally speaking where the community rallied round and moved the dynasty away from that kindred. Simply because all their children who were to be on that throne are hooligans, sycophants and nonentities.

47.     An Igbo adage says that one who is sensible and completely endowed with wisdom, the same will avenge that which killed his father. But the foolish will still be killed by the same person that killed his father. Is it a lie Brethren?

48.     One who is sensible MUST surely overcome that thing which killed his father. But a fool with die of the same thing that killed his father. He will be afflicted with the same illness his father passed through and equally suffer what his father suffered, and die in the same way his father died.

49.     God forbid that it will be so unto Me. Yes! Of course, I have already overcome. Yes! This is also because the path I am trailing, my fathers never trailed it.

50.     I am chosen for that purpose. I am wonderfully made; a Special Person in the hand of God. 

51.     Hear Me very well. God can choose you, and you say no! God can choose you and you say no! Who chose Saul? God! Who said no? Saul! Who choose Samuel? God. Who rejected God? The sons of Samuel who did not walk in the ways of their father.

52.     Who chose Eli? God. Who caused his downfall? His children, when they refused to walk in the ways of their father. Their fathers were God-fearing, but they were children of Belial; children of the devil.

53.     Yet, there are some whose parents were wicked, but their sons came up and became righteous. Under a vow they bound themselves that they will never repeat the mistake of their fathers. Is it not true?

54.     Go to the Book of Kings, and you will see wicked kings whose sons came to the throne and destroyed all the idols; all the grooves their fathers made. And then instituted a reign of righteousness. And God was pleased with them.

55.     A good number of them were at the age of twelve, sixteen and eight years, Like Asa. Amen. Can you imagine?

56.     9And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Asa over Judah.10And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

57.     11AND ASA DID THAT WHICH WAS RIGHT IN THE EYES OF THE LORD, AS DID DAVID HIS FATHER.12And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.13AND ALSO MAACHAH HIS MOTHER, EVEN HER HE REMOVED FROM BEING QUEEN, BECAUSE SHE HAD MADE AN IDOL IN A GROVE; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.14But the high places were not removed: nevertheless ASA’S HEART WAS PERFECT WITH THE LORD ALL HIS DAYS.15And he brought in the things which his father had dedicated, and the things which himself had dedicated, into the house of the Lord, silver, and gold, and vessels.[1 Kings 15:9 – 15 KJV]

58.     Often times, we say, “Any child that is trained by a woman must run mad.” It is not true. But I will tell you that any child that is trained by a useless woman, unprofitable woman, a godless woman MUST be much more godless than his or her mother. Did you get the Message?

59.     Unless he grows up to be a sensible fellow, recognizing the mistakes of the mother and his father and saying no. 

60.     What can you say about Timothy? The grandmother Lois and the mother Eunice were the people that nurtured Timothy. There was no mention of the father. From childhood, they instilled the fear of God in Timothy.

61.     Hence Paul said, “Forget not the teachings and instructions you received from your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, which made you to be godly from childhood.”

62.     5I am calling up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also. [2 Timothy 1:5 AMP]

63.     That is why in Igbo parlance, when a child shows wisdom and intelligence such a child will be referred to as Timothy, who knew the contents of the Bible from childhood.

64.     But the wicked ones give it another interpretation, which means he was grounded in evil even from childhood. That is their own interpretation because they are carnally minded. They will twist the Word of God to their own peril and to their own destruction.

65.     IF YOU DEVELOP GODLY MIND AND GODLY HEART IN YOUR INFANCY, IT IS A TREASURE YOU ARE STORING FOR YOURSELF. YOU WILL NEVER LOSE CONTROL OF YOUR FUTURE. I AM TELLING YOU THE WHOLE TRUTH.

66.     Check all of you that are messing up today. All our youths everywhere. What do you think is responsible? Their parents espoused them to churches, but they never espoused them to Christ.

67.     They espoused them to churches. Hence they take delight in going to churches, but very much afraid of worshipping God. They are afraid of worshipping God. They do not obey God, but they can be zealous over church matters. Did you get the Message?

GOD’S BLESSINGS ARE TIED TO OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD [1]

When He [David] was about to die, He called his last son. Others were still there but He singled that one out; a special child to Him.

2.       1 Kings 2:1 – 4. Living Bible translation. [1]As the time of King David’s death approached,… For He needed a successor. He did not want the dynasty to roll away.  ….He gave this charge to His son, Solomon.

3.       [2]“I am going where every man on earth must someday go. I AM COUNTING ON YOU TO BE A STRONG AND WORTHY SUCCESSOR.

4.       [3]Obey the laws of God and follow all his ways;… Pay attention! Watch the instruction. Did He say, “Disobey the LORD?” OBEY THE LORD. If you MUST continue; if this dynasty MUST continue, follow My footsteps.

5.       MAKE IT A POINT OF DUTY IN YOUR HEARTS AND IN YOUR DAILY LIVING TO OBEY GOD, EVEN IN THE MINUTEST DETAILS; IN THE LEAST MATTERS.

6.       NO MATTER HOW HARSH THE INSTRUCTION MIGHT BE; NO MATTER HOW DISTURBING THAT INSTRUCTION MIGHT BE, HUMBLE YOURSELF AT HIS FEET. OBEY IT. IT IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, FOR NOBODY OBEYS GOD AND REGRETS IT AT THE END.

7.       BUT HAVE ALWAYS REGRETTED OBEDIENCE TO THE DEVIL. OBEDIENCE TO THE DEVIL MUST LEAD YOU TO REGRETS. YOU WILL REGRET ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO THE HURT OF YOUR SOUL.

8.       [3]Obey the laws of God and follow all his ways;… Yes! He did not say, “My son, come and mount the throne after Me, and then behave as you wish.” No! Obey the law in all His ways; And in all His commands. Do not ever joke

9.       …keep each of his commands written in the law of Moses…Sure!!!…so that you will prosper in everything you do, wherever you turn.

10.     [4]IF YOU DO THIS, THEN THE LORD WILL FULFILL THE PROMISE HE GAVE ME,… If you do this, the LORD will fulfill the Covenant He made with Me, THE SON OF MAN. The LORD will fulfill the promise He made to David. What was the promise? The dynasty will never be taken away from your family till eternity.

11.     That is why HE that is talking to you is the present root and offspring of David, Whose throne endureth to all generation and to eternity of all eternities. 

12.     GOD TIES ALL HIS BLESSINGS TO OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD. YOU ABILITY TO OBEY AD FOLLOW STRICTLY, NOT CASUALLY, ALL HIS COMMANDS WILL ATTRACT ALL HIS BLESSINGS TO YOU.

13.     ALL HE HAS PROMISED ABRAHAM WILL NOW COME TO YOU, FOR IT IS ONLY IN CHRIST THAT WE BECOME HEIRS OF ALL THE PROMISES GOD BESTOWED ON ABRAHAM AND HIS DESCENDANTS FOREVER. AMEN!

14.     TOTAL SUBMISSION TO THE WILL OF GOD IS DEMANDED FROM EVERY TRUE SEED OF GOD. AND THERE IS NOTHING DIFFICULT IN IT.

15.     OBEDIENCE TO THE TRUTH IS NOT A DIFFICULT THING. ANYBODY WHO IS FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO OBEY THE TRUTH, LOVES FALSEHOOD.  HE HAS DEVILISH ORIENTATION. THE DEVIL IS HIS FATHER. SO, WE ARE NOW TRYING TO FORCE HIM TO CHANGE HIS NATURE. AND IT IS VERY CUMBERSOME. VERY WORRISOME.

16.     THAT IS WHY TRUTH DISTURBS THE EVIL DOER. I SAY, TRUTH DISTRUBS THE EVIL DOER. FALSEHOOD IS ENOYED BY EVIL DOERS. THEY ENJOY FALSEHOOD. AND THEY ENJOY ALL THE GAINS OF INIQUITY.

17.     The Bible calls it the wages of unrighteousness. It gives them joy more than any other thing.

18.     14having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: a heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; [2 Peter 2:14 – 15 KJV]

19.     Somebody who takes delight in living in error, does he belong to God. Amen.

20.     That is why The Bible said, “Get rid of everything that is wrong in your life.” And in my life. 

21.     [21]So get rid of all that is wrong in your life, both inside and outside, and humbly be glad for the wonderful message we have received, for it is able to save our souls as it takes hold of our hearts. [James 1:21 LB]

22.     Get rid of everything! Everything means everything that is wrong in your life, as you have identified through the preaching of the Gospel. Through the reading of the Gospel, you have identified all, you character bearing witness against you that you are your own greatest enemy.

23.     So you are harbouring it because you are taking interest or delight in it. Anything you love and appreciate, will you drop it? Whoever that loves and appreciates evil is evil himself. 

24.     [3]Obey the laws of God and follow all his ways; keep each of his commands written in the law of Moses so that you will prosper in everything you do, wherever you turn.

25.     [4]IF YOU DO THIS, THEN THE LORD WILL FULFILL THE PROMISE HE GAVE ME, THAT IF MY CHILDREN AND THEIR DESCENDANTS…

26.     Oooh No! So, Absalom committed suicide. Was he not the one that removed himself from this promise? All David’s children who were reckless, careless, [Oh No!] who never took the promise very seriously, they were the people that estranged themselves from the promises.

27.     It is just like I have given you My promises. I have co-opted too many of you here. I am saying, “Not even one soul will get lost.”

28.     But it is tied to your strict obedience to My Word; to My command and to My instructions. Whether they run contrary to your lifestyle or not, you are duty bound to obey. 

29.     You trust and obey, for that is the only way you can be happy with Me in this Family. And then it is extended to any other family we have decided to co-opt into this Family to be beneficiaries of the promises. 

30.     Now I regard all of them as My children. They now enjoy equal privileges with My biological children, only on one condition, “If they will walk according to My precepts, obeying the LORD and fearing the LORD; Honouring, reverencing and exalting Him.”

31.     [3]Obey the laws of God and follow all his ways; keep each of his commands written in the law of Moses so that you will prosper in everything you do, wherever you turn.

32.     [4]IF YOU DO THIS, THEN THE LORD WILL FULFILL THE PROMISE HE GAVE ME,THAT IF MY CHILDREN AND THEIR DESCENDANTS…

33.     If My own children and their own descendants, Oh Glory be to God. Who was given this promise? Abraham, our Father.

34.     Can you see it? The promises of God to every family must not only go to the children and the family only, but to the descendants. “Descendants” has no limit.

35.     But the moment the dynasty goes away, you can see the havoc it has caused. The whole lineage will be affected. Do not think that people are making mistakes, praying that My wife should be having more daughters so that they will marry.

36.     They are not making mistakes. If I were in their shoes, I will be making such decree and prayers. Yes!

37.     Who would not like to get his root from A Blessed Family? Who would not like to get his root from A Blessed Lineage? Who would not like to tie himself to that Family?

38.     A family where there is salvation. A Family where there is hope of all I need in this life, which is Christ, the Hope of Glory.

39.     [4]IF YOU DO THIS, THEN THE LORD WILL FULFILL THE PROMISE HE GAVE ME, THAT IF MY CHILDREN AND THEIR DESCENDANTS  WATCH THEIR STEP AND ARE FAITHFUL TO GOD,…

40.     Do what? If they watch their steps! Watch their steps. Watch their character. Watch the steps they are taking.

41.     And Igbo adage says, “By the steps of an individual, you will know the person’s character.” The steps of an individual and his manner of breathing tells the person’s heart desire.

42.     Your footsteps and your manner of breathing, the way you look helps people to know your heart desire. Did you get the Message?

43.     Another Igbo adage says that a child that will be a reasonable adult is known in his infancy. In the same way, a fool identified at infancy. A good day starts with a bright sunrise.

44.     With the eyes, you can tell a ripe corn. To open the cob is mere desperation. Every community knows the character of her citizens.  A mother knows her offspring. A father knows his child. He equally knows those that are strangers.

45.     There is a way a child will behave in the family and the child will be bluntly told that only the mother knows the source of the pregnancy that produced the child, “Why is your life and character different from that of others. All your siblings run away from evil. Why are you swimming in evil?” Amen.  Hope you are following Me.

46.     [4]IF YOU DO THIS,…if you obey My instructions; My commands; My Words,…THEN THE LORD WILL FULFILL THE PROMISE HE GAVE ME, THAT IF MY CHILDREN AND THEIR DESCENDANTS  WATCH THEIR STEP AND ARE FAITHFUL TO GOD, ONE OF THEM SHALL ALWAYS BE THE KING OF ISRAEL— ….

47.     One of them because at every point in time, the throne must be one. Two persons cannot be there. In other words, the dynasty can never ever depart, even if their parents role away; even if their father is gone and their mother is gone.

48.     Remember they are born by many wives Yet, the dynasty is still there and the throne is one. From one of the wives; a son must come for one of the wives.

49.     And who could be that wife? It must be one that will take her time to look into the state of her children, with a view to making sure that the words of their father which he passed on to them are all obeyed; 

50.     She will be there, making sure that they do not disobey their father, for she knows the implications that it means departure from what he has handed over to them, and God is no longer obligatory to fulfill the promise, which he made to that family, which embraces all their descendants till eternity.

51.     Oh! If I am from the Royal lineage… Did you get what I am saying? If I am an off-shoot borne off the Stock that was cut down from a Royal lineage, can’t you see continuity. Can’t you see continuity. I say it is a relay race. It is a continuum. I AM HE.

52.     THE MAN CAN HIDE HIS IDENTITY FOR TOO LONG, BUT NOT BEFORE HIS OWN OFFSPRING. DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE?

53.     Of the children [of David], only the last born had the revelation of who the father was. Others knew Him as the father, the King of Israel.

54.     They were answering princes and princesses, but among them, there was a crown Prince. There was a crown Prince among the princes. There was a crown princess.  Others are princesses, but not all of the will be crown.

55.     Among the hundreds and the thousands, one at any material time will sit on that throne. And it cannot be an anyhow child. 

56.     Look at the command. Whoever that obey knows. Whoever that does not obey knows that he is not obeying. Am I making sense at all.

57.     IF YOU ARE LIVING A LIFE OF DISOBEDIENCE TO THE TRUTH, YOU KNOW. IF YOU ARE LIVING A LIFE OF OBEDIENCE, YOU KNOW.

58.     YOU ARE LIVING THELIFE YOU ARE LIVING BECAUSE THAT IS THE WAY YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO LIVE, FOR THERE IS NO HABIT ANYBODY CANNOT BREAK. AM I MAKING SENSE.

59.     If I say that I will not drink wine, will you force it on Me?  If I say that I will not smoke, will you force it on Me?

60.     Let Me just tell you one thing. If you are a seed of God, watch your steps. Watch over your steps. Watch over the step you are taking, for every step you are taking is leading you somewhere.

61.     It is reducing the distance between where you were and where you are heading to. If that step is heading to destruction, the more you take further steps, the nearer you are to your destruction. Am I making sense?

62.     You are told not to go, but you keep on moving on.  You are told to come back, but you keep moving on. But you do not know that you are drawing nearer, closest to your destruction, for a day had already been fixed, for it shall be one day known unto the LORD.

63.     And you will prove all things that he is an unchangeable God Who is ever mindful of His Word. That is why if I say to the wicked, “You will die”, surely he will die

64.      But if he turns away from his wickedness and begins to do right, I will pardon and cancel the punishment I had already spoken concerning him. Is it not Scripture?

65.     If My people that are called by My Name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face, I the LORD will hear their prayers. And I will forgive their sins.  I will not destroy them. I will heal them of their sores, diseases and sicknesses, and also heal the land. They shall be mine again.

66.     The prodigal son wandered away, but one day, he spoke to himself. Nobody spoke to him. He saw vanity of all vanities. He saw emptiness in those things that allured his eyes and allured his heart.

67.     He never knew before that many had already seen them and passed. But he saw it and then became over-excited. He became over-excited over vanity. Amen!

68.     That is why David warned His children, “Be very careful about the step you take”

GOD’S BLESSINGS ARE TIED TO OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD [2]

IF YOU DO THIS, THEN THE LORD WILL FULFILL THE PROMISE HE GAVE ME, THAT IF MY CHILDREN AND THEIR DESCENDANTS  WATCH THEIR STEP AND ARE FAITHFUL TO GOD,…If they should put their trust in God, …ONE OF THEM SHALL ALWAYS BE THE KING OF ISRAEL—…

2.       SHALL ALWAYS. The Seat can never be declared vacant. One of them shall always be there. 

3.       …MY DYNASTY WILL NEVER END. My dynasty will never come to an end.

4.       SONG: [The steadfastness of the LORD never ceaseth. His mercies endureth forever and ever. They are new every morning; new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness, O LORD. Great is Thy faithfulness.

5.       The faithfulness of the LORD never ceaseth. His mercies endureth forever and ever. They are new every morning; new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness, O LORD. Great is Thy faithfulness]

6.       An Igbo adage says that it is an abomination for someone to go to the land of the spirits to get fire, and then come over the land of human beings and extinguish the fire.

7.       You dared to go to the land of the spirits to collect fire, and on returning to the land of human beings where it is supposed to be glowing, you now extinguish it.

8.       It is an abomination of all abominations for a child to extinguish the light that was given to him as a sacred trust to keep and allow to glow.

9.       That was what David was warning the children against. Do not allow your candle light to be removed from you when I leave the scene.

10.     Live a life that will convince God that you received teachings and instructions from Me as I received from Him. Strive daily to maintain the sanctity of this Royal Priesthood; this Royal Office. It must be sacrosanct in the hearts of all that the dynasty must be preserved to all generations.

11.     I do not know why I am talking to you this way. But the LORD knows why. The LORD knows why.
