THE WORD SANCTIFIES
It has always been God’s eternal purpose to maintain a record for truth and righteousness in the midst of ungodly and perverse generation. Almighty God does this by choosing a family, a family with whom He will be having fellowship with, and in our own day, we are privileged to have such a family where truth and righteousness reigns.
2. In the whole world today, the light of glorious righteousness is everywhere, permeating to the all nook and cranny of the universe taking its origin from this great super family of our God, Apostle Peter Odoemena, glory be unto His Most Holy Name.
3. Are you wondering why I am so much delighted in this family, and at the same time proclaiming it to the entire world? It is because; the salvation of my soul is tied to this family.
4. I don’t care the way you are looking at it but one thing I know is that the refreshing wind of the Holy Spirit that saves from sins and sorrow is coming from this family. The salvation link of all mankind is this family. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.
5. Remain blessed dear Elect of God worldwide. I thank Almighty God who has given us this wonderful opportunity and privilege to gather once again in His Holy presence. He is the One sustaining us and has been the One that is giving us the needed spiritual and physical strength and help that we needed at this period.
6. Beloved of God, in as much as we have not been clothed with the promised immortal bodies, we will continue to encourage one another with the word of God, putting ourselves in remembrance of those things He has taught us in time past and also presently now.
7. Dear saints of the Most High, until we put on our theophany bodies, we should always understand the need for the work of self-examination. Self-examination is a daily necessity. Examining yourself daily in the light of the messages you have received from the very Elohim. Checking daily if your character is synchronizing and in consonance with the word; with the message you have received from God as we see the days approaching.
8. Brethren before we go on to the little exhortation I have here, I will like us to briefly consider why it is necessary for us to feed on the word of God daily. The Bible said we should meditate on the word of God in the morning, as we rise from our bed, in the afternoon and in the evening before going to bed.
9. WHY YOU MUST BE MINDFUL OF THE WORDS OF THE APOSTLES AND PROPHETS preached on 23rd November 1996 at the Household of God Onitsha, chapter 2, verse 21
10. … the way you receive the word of God Will determine the level it will work in you. If you receive it, as the word of man, there is no way the word of man can transform you, for the word of man profiteth nothing.
11. However, if you receive it as the word of God, by and by, it must work effectually in you.
12. If you and I receive the word of God for what it really is, our lives will never remain the same again. The transforming power that is embedded in the word will be seen in our daily lives.

14. Please I am appealing to all of you. Form the habit of going through the food God stored for this season. This era we are in was prophesied long ago through the mouths of the prophets of old; through the mouths of the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles, even THE SON OF MAN in our own day.
15. If we must remain alive spiritually and physically, we must feed on this eternal word. The only thing that can spiritually feed and nourish our heart is the divine truth that comes from the word of God.
16. Remember that the amount of the word that you received and allowed to settle in your heart will displaced the same amount of unbelief in your heart. For total eradication of unbelief, which is what the Almighty God requires from us, we must allow the full indwelling of the word in our hearts.
17. Psalm 119:9. AMP. How shall a young man cleanse his ways? By taking heed and keeping watch on himself according to Your word conforming his life to it.
18. A young man or young woman prospers in his or her ways if he or she rely, depend and obeys the word of God, making sure he/she pattern his or her life according to the word of God.
19. The only way you can live right in the sight of God is to obey and treasure His word in your heart. The only way a young man, a young woman, a youth, can live a pure life is by obeying the word of God, paying complete allegiance to the word of God.
20. Psalm 119:9 TBL. How can a young man stay pure? By reading your word and following its rules. I have tried my best to find you- don’t let me wonder off from your instructions. I have thought much about your words and stored them in my heart so that they would hold me back from sin.
21. Psalm 119: 105. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
22. The word of God shows us how to live our life. It is the word that is guiding, directing and protecting us. The word of God remains the compass director of our lives.

24. Psalm 119:130 AMP. The entrance of and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding, discernment and comprehension to the simple.
25. When the words of the Most High are unveiled, light that illuminates the soul shines forth; thus, bringing understanding to the individual.

27. Hear me very well, if you do not accumulate enough word of God, which will build the latent strength and power in you; which will build enough faith in you that will meet the standard set for translation, you will not be translated.
28. There is a standard set for translation, which can only be reached by the level of accumulation of the word of God in you. So if you do not reach that level do not expect translation.
29. This is what makes the five virgins to be foolish. They do not accumulate enough of the word that holds the power of translation in them. In other words, the latent strength or power that is required to translate a human being is the amount or the level of accumulation of the word of God in that individual with implicit obedient to the word.
30. Psalm 119: 133 KJV. Order my steps in thy word, and let no any iniquity have dominion over me.

32. How will you be established when you are neglecting the word of God? When you are not taking the word of God serious? When you haverefused to pattern your life after the messages you received from God?Giving the word of God a second place in your life leads to destruction.
33. Nugget from the Chronicles of the Bridal faith, the journey so far page 152 says, once you take in the word of God, live by the word of God, your life will bear witness that you are of God because all the things God condemned, you must condemn. All that God delights in, you must love.
34. This is because His delight will now be your delight and His will your will. The computer is a worthless machine without a program, so it is with a Pastor, a Bishop, a deacon, an evangelist, an Apostle, a brother or a sister who does not live the life of obedient to the truth made evident to him.
35. THE YEAR OF THE FAITHFUL, page 61 verse 15 Preached on 5th January 2014. Take note, I wish to announce to all and sundry that in time past we were playing prank with the word of the Son of Man, but now, it will be the saddest mistake anybody can make.
36. The most costly, delicate and regrettable and saddest mistake anybody will ever make at this time, is to reject the word of God or set the word of aside.
37. At this present stage of the ministry where we are now, any negligence or nonchalant attitude towards God and His word is the greatest mistake any human being can ever make.
38. So to survive and remain pure in this present stage of this ministry, in this last lap of the ministry, you must completely yield to the word of the Lord. Yes, the word of God is a cleanser, purifier, it cleanses and purifies whosoever that comes under its influence, power and authority.
39. The Holy Scripture made it clear in St. John 15:3 that we are sanctified by the word spoken to us by God.
40. John 15:3. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
41. We are made holy by the word of the Son of Man. The more you allow His words to settle down in your heart, the more you are made holy and acceptable in His sight.

44. Page 111 verse 40. Purify your heart with the word of God that you are hearing from me, knowing that if I wanted to stumble you out, I would have not have carried you to this place.
45. Brethren, have you seen the love of God in action? He does not want us to perish. So it is not he that runeth or willeth but God that showeth mercy.
46. THE BOOK OF PROPHECIES volume 4 page 45 verse 47. Stop playing with my word. My word is greater than everything. My word is power. My word is life. There is no way you can get life outside my word. Take it, apply it and it will be well with you. It will be well with you.
47. The application of the word of God in one’s life brings spiritual progress and life to an individual while misapplication or negligence of the word, brings disaster and death.
48. Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piecing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and narrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart.
49. You see, the purity of your heart is linked to your obedience to the word of God. There is a connection between obedience and purity of the heart. That means pure heart signifies obedient heart.
50. In other words, obedient heart is a reflection of a pure heart. Note, the more you obey the word of God, the more your heart is purified. Remember that the word is full of living power, power of transformation, so anybody playing prank with the word is declaring himself or herself unworthy of the everlasting life.
51. The psalmist says in psalm 119:11. ‘Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
52. Hiding the word of the Lord in your heart means allowing the word to have absolute control of your daily life and to be a compass director of your life.

54. …..The presence of the Son of Man in your midst is not this carnal flesh.
55. The presence of the Son of Man in your midst is his word in your heart. If the word that I have spoken is not in your heart my presence is not with you. You are devoid of my presence for God is only taking those that have him in their heart.
56. Do not begin to guess as how to know when the presence of God is with you, the moment the word is not in you, His presence is not with you.
57. God is taking those that have allowed his words to settle down in their hearts. Anything that hinders the entrance of the word of God in your heart should be regarded as your greatest enemy.
58. That thing should be done away with, with immediate effect. Do not romance with anything that will hinder the entrance of His words into your heart. Any thought of your heart that obstructs the words of the Son of Man from permeating into your heart is your greatest enemy.
59. Any spirit that does not allow you to retain the word of God is the spirit that will destroy you. It can be spirit of socialization, scientific sophistication or technological sophistication.
60. It can be spirit of mammon. In whatever shape it may assume please do away with it. Give that spirit a word test and it must surely fail if it is not from God.

62. Anyone whose body does not facilitate the entry of the word of God is dead. It is just like injecting a drug into a corpse, does it make any meaning? It is meaningless because the drug will not enter.
63. The word of God is an injection you give to a living being, who is sick so that he could live. The Bible said the word is full of living power; living power that enters a human being and transforms him. That is the power of transformation.
64. Do not be a living corpse that does not allow the word of God to penetrate into it. The words of the Son of Man in your heart is life-given spirit and it is a transforming agent, which sanctified your life for eternal salvation.
65. Do you know that spiritual defilement or impurity is breed or beget in the heart? The Scripture made it clear in Matthew chapter 15 verse 11 that the content of the heart of a man defiles a man. A heart that conceive and produce wicked imagination, is an impure heart.
66. Matthew 15:11 Amp. It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiles, but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles him.
67. Living Bible translation. You are not defiled by what you eat; you are defiled by what you say and do.
68. You see, the imagination of a man’s heart defiles a man. You see why we do not worship God with the imagination of the heart. You are either defiled or justified by your actions. God hates a heart that manufactures or breeds evil or conceives evil plan and feet that are swift in running to evil.
69. Proverb 6:18. AMP. A heart that manufacture wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil.
70. The Year Of The Faithful preached on 5th January, 2014 Page 75 verse 59.The purity I am desiring to see is the purity of your heart. Cleanse your heart and every aspect of your being must be clean. If your heart is dirty and you are gorgeously dressed with the neatest dress, you are the dirtiest human being before God.
71. Purify your heart, cleanse your heart and your garment will be clean. Every character a man manifest emanate from within.
72. Your character either purifies you or defiles you. Every evil character a man manifest defiles the man. You are defiled as long as you are found in unbelief. And as such you are an evil man or woman before Almighty God.
73. We are sanctified, made holy through the teachings of truth, the words of the Son of Man we have received.

75. If you are holy, you are holy because of the words of the Son of Man, whichyou have received. That is what makes you holy.
76. The words that proceeded from the mouth of the Son of Man are a purifying agent,acleansing agent that purifies the heart of a man. Almighty God affirm it in the message tilted ‘The Year Of The Judgment Of The Bride’ 2018 New Year Message volume 3 page 45 verse 1.
77. The word of God is a cleansing agent. The entrance of the word of God in the heart of man cleanses the heart of every impunity that weakens the heart.
78. Whatever that pollutes the heart, if the word has been given its rightful place in that heart, it will never go home the same. Even if you have lost faith, the word of God will create faith for faithless. Yes truth brings the future closest
79. Remember that the garment, which represents the pure, spotless character of Christ, is what every elect of God must possess. For God’s nature is your ticket to paradise. Do not spot your garment as we wait at the gate of paradise. The only way you can maintain the brightness of that garment of righteousness is complete obedience to the word of God. For the word of God, is the only purifying and cleansing agent that can purify the heart of man.
80. Precious Memories How They Linger preached on Friday 24th, July 2020 page 152 verse 71 ….. God does not want us to be idle thinking foolish things. He wants us to stay with him; stay with the Lord; stay with the message you have heard.
81. He does not want you to mingle foolishly with the heathens. Watch anybody who is not taking the messages serious, he is the one that is roaming the street; roaming the market, deceiving himself, deceiving herself.
82. These people pay casual approach to the messages and they hardly sit down to study the messages, but spent most of their time on things that have no eternal value. To some ordering of messages is a huge task that they cannot embark on. They see ordering of messages as a waste of money and time but will spend so much in eating and drinking.
83. In fact, it is a disturbance they cannot bear while to others it is a decorative instrument to be use in decorating their parlours. Remember the warning from Almighty God, ‘Do not allow your library to condemn you.
A DIVINE CONNECTION DOES NOT DISCONNECT. Did you get the message? ANY CONNECTION TO THE SON OF MAN OR TO THE FAMILY WITH WRONG CONSIDERATION MUST SURELY DISCONNECT. YOU WILL NOT DISCONNECT IT, HE THAT IS IN YOU KNOWS HOW TO DO IT. DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE? SO, EVERY CONNECTION MUST BE DIVINE; DIVINELY CONNECTED TO THE SON OF MAN, AND THEN YOU BECOME A PART OF HIS ETERNAL PURPOSE. WHATEVER THAT IS DIVINE IS ETERNAL.

BE SPIRITUALLY UPGRADED TO GOD
Faithfulness Explained chapter 2 page 42 verse 2 preached on 31st May, 2009.
2. Do you know that in spite of all the publication we have made so far, it is regrettable to note that a number of our so-called fathers in the faith, head of families have not found it convenient even to sit down with their children including their wives, using the messages to exhort them? What I am telling you is the truth.
3. They could have time for everything not to study the word. Some only go to their libraries at their own leisure time. A time they are free from what they think is more important than the word of God. The word of God has now become a thing that should be delegated to second consideration. They do not allot any time for God and they are looking for convenient time to study the word.
4. If a student studies only at his or her spare time, will he pass his examination? The answer is emphatic No! For the student to succeed in his academic studies, he or she must devote a considerable time for his or her studies, laying aside so many distractions that will impede his success.
5. Beloved of Christ, there is a great difference between reading and studying. You can read without studying but you cannot study without reading. Studying relate to a process in which an individual needs to completely devote his/her time and understand the content thoroughly while reading is related to the process of only understanding and finding the meaning of the content. Studying implore contemplation, mediation, reflection and internalizing the content of the book.
6. So when the Bible say, study to show yourself approved as a workman who needs not to be ashamed means you have to allow the content of the message to leave the book and settle down in your heart.
7. Let the word be a part of you. For your spiritual survival, you must obey every word that God has spoken to you, and not just to obey his advice; you must treasure the words in your heart.
8. Remember that the word of God was not given to us to treasure in the brain, or increase our knowledge, but to change our lives through obedience
9. Now, if you study the whole Scriptures including the Holy Quran, it can never give you eternal life. You will only increase your knowledge but your knowledge will condemn you if you do not reflect it in practice.
10. The study which equips you with the knowledge you need, will only help you to get eternal life if the readiness, the willingness to obey is there. (Questions and answers 2019 edition vol2. page 155 v47-48 Preached 27th January 2019).
11. Study the word with the intent and willingness to obey and God who is rich in mercy will give you the needed help to obey, for he is the one who help us to obey Him.
12. Job23: 12. I have not gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed and treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.
13. Have you obeyed everyword He has spoken to you and not just obeyed; have you treasure it in your heart?

15. I am not looking for one with in-depth knowledge of the truth. I am looking for one who has absolute practical experience of the truth; practical experience of the truth.
16. WE ARE SERVING A LIVING GOD page 58 verse 61 preached on 15th January 2012.
17. Keeping those books on the bookstand will not help any family. When you do not go through the books, you are doing yourself more harm than good, for the signals are contained in the books.
18. The various ways by which you will know what is going to take place the next minutes, they are all there. You may not get another alert.
19. The way you devoted your time and energy in searching for Wi-fi, VPN (virtual private network) and hotspot to connect, should be the same way you devote time even much more to connect to God spiritually.
20. When you are spiritually upgraded and connected to God, everything around you will be working for your good. For the scripture says, “Everything works for good to those that love, trust and obeys the Lord”.
21. And for you to be spiritually upgraded to God, you must be convinced, dedicated, addicted to the integrity of the truth, the word of God, for nothing satisfies the soul or the heart of every Elect more than the truth which he or she has received from the Lord God Almighty made flesh in his day, Apostle Peter Odoemena, the exalted One, Glory be unto His Most Holy Name.
22. Let us go further to the message ‘BEWARE OF SNAKE’S BITES AS WE WORSHIP GOD AT HOME’ preached on Friday, 10th April 2020 at the Bridal Lodge, Nsugbe, Anambra State, Nigeria. Page 27 verse 30- 32.
23. THE SECRET OF WORSHIPPING GOD IN THE HOME DURING THIS COVID19 PERIOD LIES IN ENRICHING YOUR SOUL WITH THE ENGRAFTED WORD OF GOD UNADULTERATED.
24. When you are enriching your soul with the word, you will remain alive spiritually as you remain alive physically. This is the time you can see the power of God at work that man does not live by physical bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
25. So, the strength of God’s people as at now; What the hour calls for, the strength of God’s people is drawn from the word of God which they have used to enrich their souls, but as many as have starved their souls and are still starving their souls they will grow lean both spiritually and physically.
26. MIDNIGHT CRY EXPALINED PREACHED ON SUNDAY 7TH JUNE 2020 PAGE 169 VERSE 17.
27. But if you do not form the habit of studying these books (messages), you may not be able to acquaint yourself with fulfillment of prophecies, for there were too many things that were prophesied long long time ago that are fulfilling now.
28. We continue on page 170 verse 20. Let me tell you, if we have the books, these messages stored in book form and we do not spent time to go through them, we have heaped condemnation on ourselves. Am I making sense? Good.
29. Page 171 verse 22-24. But where we study with the aim to obey and practice the word…. We will remain current! We will remain on the alert, seeing that only one thing remainth. And this is the clothing of this mortal body with immortal body; the replacement of mortal with immortal. Is there anything left?
30. And then you may lose your own if you are not renewing. When you are studying these messages, you are renewing the right spirit in yourself. I am renewing the right spirit in myself.
31. I am keeping myself abreast of all the prophecies. When the prophecies are fulfilling, they strengthens the faith more and more. Am I making sense?
32. If you do not study, you will never grow. For you to have persistent growth you must give yourself over to study and prayers as the Lord God Almighty instructed. When you give yourself over to fun fare, in drinking, eating, perambulating everywhere aimlessly, chatting, you will grow carnally and you will be filled with carnal pleasures.
33. When you refuse to give yourself over to study and prayers, which is the activator of the word, there is the tendency that you are upgrading yourself to the devil. You either upgrade yourself to God or to the Devil. The choice is yours for God has given us everything pertaining to godliness and perfection.
34. Verse 27. Let us not be holding something that may condemn us in the end, by our inability to go back and know what God said in the messages.
35. What does it profit you, holding the messages you do not know the content? It profits us nothing. So they are made to be read and understood, practiced.
36. Page 176 verse 38. There is honey in the rock but you must go and hunt it before you get that honey. If you are not patient, if you are not enduring, you cannot get it…
37. If you value the word of God as a precious ornament, then you will never play with it.The Lord said, if you know the value of Gold preserve it.Of course, the word of God is more than gold to every elect.
38. Page 179 verse 45. Establish regular prayers and study at all times. When you study, you acquired the knowledge of the truth. When you pray, prayer will add strength to the message.
39. It will build a latent power in you. Power to overcome all trials and temptations, power to overcome all obstacles, power to resist certain trials, certain pulls.

41. It takes one who is spiritually upgraded to capture and understand what we are saying in this Faith. If you are not spiritually upgraded to God, you will not know what we are talking about. Things will be flying above your head and you will think that we are playing, but see where we are now. The Timetable changed for we are no longer in AD.
1Cor.2:14. But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them[of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

43. Anyone who is not practicing this faith, the reason is because of earthly things; the world is still holding him captive. He has never been liberated.
44. That is why he is having difficulties putting the word of God into action, because he is still earthly bound. His thoughts are earthly; his character earthly; his eyes earthly; everything earthly. That is why you see him complaining and murmuring.
45. Where do you see injustice? Is it in heaven? It is here on earth, for which cause people grumble and murmur because they are earthly bound.
46. If your life is filled with murmuring and complaining and grumbling, you are earthly bound. You are earthly. If you are having your affection on things that are in this world, you are earthly bound. I say, you are earthly bound.
47. So, because of their inability to read the written messages, the printed messages, claiming they have heard it from the audio tapes, that is why there is nobody who is in this category that will be a saint; that will attain perfection.
48. Almighty God, in His love and mercy sent a reminder to us through the BCMW platform precisely on the 10th of June, 2020 stressing the importance of studying this messages that are now made available to us in book form.
49. FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL SURVIVAL, every family in Onitsha Household of God and other local assemblies must order for at least a copy of every message in book form.

51. This is the time families should fortify themselves with the truth. Publications will help us for easy referencing, as it needs neither electronic power nor battery even data is not required.
52. Every local assembly should make arrangements on how to send a representative, from time to time (at least once a month), who will come down to Onitsha to collect printed messages for the brethren.
53. Let it be known to you that these messages are not being printed and distributed as a business venture. The money realized from publication is not even enough to offset the cost of materials, maintain, service, or procure new equipment, maintain manpower and other expenses associated with publication.
54. It is only God that knows how he is piloting the affairs of this ministry without complaining.
55. It is a disservice to yourself and your family to shun from getting the food (publication) that keeps you spiritually alive unless you want to whither with your family.
56. What else will be your excuse! Remember that you no longer spend money on transporting yourself and your family to any fellowship centre. Avail yourself this opportunity to avoid God’s condemnation.

Your spiritual sickness will not be healed until you listen to the chief physician which is Christ, take his prescriptions according to the way He prescribed, if you complete the dosage according to his prescription, only then shall you be translated. 59. Too many people do not know what it takes to keep their garments unspotted. I am highly surprised that a good number of the brethren (not saints) do not value good things hence they have become dogs that trample on holy things.
60. Out of compassion, the Son of Man posts audio messages to all and sundry so that you listen to it and wait for the print out. It is disheartening that many people simply shy away from ordering their copies of such messages claiming that they have heard the audio version of it. Can you make any reference with the audio message?
61. Can you underline any salient points? After listening to the audio, how long will you retain the information before forgetting it? If you are asked to use the message for fellowship, what will you do? If your phone or memory card is attacked by virus or your memory gets filled up what will you do?
62. What if your phone is stolen or it damages? The messages God inspire his ministers to handle, are they in audio form? There is no message documented by the brethren even before lockdown that the Son of Man does not go through.
63. The Son of Man has already instructed the publication department to create a research unit so as to back such messages with quotes from other messages, scriptures, Quran and ancient parchments for clearer understanding.
64. Consequently, brethren have ignored the provision God made for their spiritual feeding. Many have chosen to perish by rejecting the preserved word which Almighty God prophetically told us that he preserved his word that we will not perish.
65. The prophets of old also made it clear that in our own day, Allah will put a gadget in place that will make the messages to go worldwide in print form and electronic form. Those in the website are better off than many of you because they download the messages and print them out in full.
66. Am I asking you to come and give me money? The books worth between N1,500 and N2,000 each, yet I greatly subsidized it to the cheapest rate of N800.
67. Who is paying the remaining balance for you then? Some even receive free copies and they are the worst abusers of this privileged. Which other encouragement do you need for you to desire salvation?
68. Following your inability to read the printed messages claiming you have it in audio form, there is nobody in this category that will be a saint because what you are holding is half-truth. As many as have attained like Precious faith with us are no longer brethren but saints of God and they do not play with preserved word of God.
69. It baffles me that many have already yielded themselves to deceiving spirits that gives you the impression that both the audio and the printed ones are the same. Depending on the audio message alone will simply make your account with God to be dormant.
70. Remember you have no hope of eternal life until the contents of the messages leave the books and dwell richly in your heart. Check your account with Christ to know whether it is dormant or active.
71. Many in this Bridal faith have ignored the provision God made for our spiritual feeding, spiritual growth. I mean provision meant for our spiritual upgrade to sainthood.
72. There are two things here, you upgrade either spiritually to God, sainthood or you upgrade spiritually to the devil. The word of God is the activator, without the word of God richly in you, you are half-baked and no half- baked person will smell paradise.

88. Even if you stuffed the heart with the word of God without obedience to the word, the heart is dormant, inactive. So you must activate the word in your heart through obedience to the word of God.
89. The word, Christ in you, and obedience to the word is the hope of glory.The devil in you and disobedient to the word of God is the hope of destruction.

Why you must pay earnest heed to the words you are hearing from your prophets and Apostles, that is the word of salvation for your day. If you miss it, you have deliberately and foolishly missed salvation. If you want salvation, follow the word.

2. The problem we are having in this faith is that those of you, who think that they know God, do not know God. If you can remember the signs and wonders God displayed here, to reveal himself. He said, he wants to banish unbelief, to put an end to unbelief.
3. What is more, naked manifestation of unbelief is murmuring, the second is complaining, the first is grumbling. When it starts in you, you will start to demonstrate, who are you demonstrating against, is it God?
4. The naked manifestation of unbelief is murmuring and complaining. The first evidence of unbelief is murmuring or grumbling and the second evidence is complaining.
5. Remember the issue at stake, murmuring and complaining does not respect your position in Christ. Your position as Apostle, Bishop, Pastor, Evangelist, Deacon does not exonerate you from this spiritual sickness.
6. After all, the people that stir up murmuring in the camp were prominent men found among the Israelites in the wilderness.
7. Luke 17:32 “Remember Lot’s wife.” This warning from God calls for sober reflection. It is so serious that the Lord had to call our attention to it. I was mediating on this warning the other day why God want us to remember this woman (Lot’s wife).
8. There must be something so peculiar about this woman that God wants us to remember what happened to her. Of all the women in the Bible, we are commanded to remember this particular woman not even Sarah, Hannah or other virtuous women.
9. Don’t you think there must be something Almighty God want us to guide against? A lesson He (God) wants us to learn. This woman is opposite of Sarah, the wife of Abraham.
10. Sarah was loyal, submissive and obedient to her husband that she calls her husband “My lord.”
11. Brethren, that woman (Lot’s wife) must be a daughter of Beliar. She was there when the angels came to the husband and commanded him to run for safety and never to look back.
12. Her stubbornness and disobedient nature never allowed her to obey the simple instruction. Was she saved from the troubles that befell Sodom? Yes, but perished before her destination? Failure before the target.
13. You can be close to salvation and yet not be saved. Almost saved but not saved. I am saying that you can be close to salvation and due to your unbelief, unrepentant and obstinate heart you miss the salvation that God offers to you free of charge in your own day.
14. Murmuring and complaining against the God of your day will mark you out of the salvation God provided in your day.
15. Felix was so close to salvation but he postponed it to a later day and salvation eluded him. We are at the gate of paradise waiting for the day Almighty God will clothe us with immortality hence, remember what happen to Lot’s wife.
16. Acts 24: 24-25 Some days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess; and he sent for Paul and listen to him talk about faith in Christ Jesus.
17. But as he continued to argue about uprightness, purity of life the control of the passions, and the judgment to come, Felix became alarmed and terrified and said, Go away for the present, when I have a convenient opportunity, I will send for you. AMP
18. Judas, being a bishop was so close to salvation yet he was damned. Instead of fixing his eyes on the infallible word, he fixed his eyes on the money he is getting from the treasury, for he was a treasurer.
19. John 12 verse 4-6. AMP “But Judas Iscariot, the one of His disciples who was about to betray Him, said, why was this perfume not sold for 300 denarii, a year’s wages for an ordinary workman and that money given to the poor the destitute?
20. Now he did not say this because he cared for the poor but because he was a thief; and having the bag the money box, the purse of the Twelve, he took for himself what was put into it pilfering the collections.
21. Agrippa was so close to salvation but he told St. Paul to stop persuading him to believe in Christ.
22. Acts 26:28. KJV.Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
23. Acts 26: 28 AMP.Then Agrippa said to Paul, You think it a small task to make a Christian of me just offhand to induce me with little ado and persuasion, at very short notice.
24. This warning is reminding us that you can be next to God but not have Him in your heart. For it is not knowing Him that gives you salvation but being obedience to His word. What can you say about Lucifer who is next in command yet he was found in iniquity.
25. Demas, Paul’s co-worker was close to salvation yet he was damned because of covetousness and worldly pleasures. His closeness to Saint Paul offered him an opportunity to grasp eternal life but he counted himself unworthy of salvation that came to him.
26. 2 Timothy 4:10 “Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia.” NLT
27. Let us go to the message “Remember Lot’s Wife page 24 verse 23 , 29-30 preached on Monday 12th August 2019
28. They were led to the city and there order given there at the city gate to “run without looking back in the next one hour, the city will go on flames. No flesh shall be saved in that city.
29. The bible said, “The woman died outside the city.” It never said she died within the city.
30. She was not consumed by the fire, but she rather stopped and never moved an inch further from the same point where the Angels pulled her and the husband with the instruction to run without looking back. She turned into a molten magma, and that was where she perished.
31. Where are we today? Are we not at the gate of paradise? Remember the order was given at the gate. The order was not given in the city but at the gate.
32. She refused to accept the salvation that came to her. When she(Lot’s wife) remembered her jewelries, her friendswhom she thought she would miss if she obeyed the word of God, her position in the society, she murmured in her heart and then drew back.
33. Let it be known to you that murmuring begin with a desire to have your own way. Rebellion comes with grudging and murmuring.
34. She should be a caution, a warning to us all; for God will deal with us as He dealt with her if we are found in unbelief at the gate, in disobedience and murmuring against Him. This is a very dangerous situation, murmuring against God at this dying minute.

36. Tell Me one who is complaining and murmuring and I will show you a stubborn fellow, an incorrigible fellow, a self-conceited fool
37. The Bible made it clear that a self-conceited fool is one that thinks he is smart. One who is wise in his own eye and is unteachable.
38. Proverb 26:12. Do you see a man who is unteachable and wise in his own eye and full of self-conceit? There is more hope for a fool than for him. AMP
39. Isaiah: 5:21. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and prudent and shrewd in their own sight. Amp
40. Doom and destruction await all who think they are so smart, for the cleverness of a man cannot outsmart the wisdom of God. Whomever that holds such a high opinion of himself is a conceited fool.
41. Proverb: 3:7-8. Be not wise in your own eyes, reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn entirely away from evil. It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones. AMP
42. Trust God from the bottom of your heart, don’t try to reason or figure out everything on your own. Listen to the voice of God that is talking to you in your day for He is the one who will keep you on track.
43. However, she (Lot’s wife) was reasoning the word of God, which gave the devil the room to exaggerate and interpret it to her why it is impossible to obey the simple instruction “Run and never look back.”
44. You see that Murmuring is another way of challenging God’s authority. Murmurers worships God by reasoning until the word agrees with their own philosophy they will not obey. This is an act of insult to Almighty God. If we critically look into the meaning of insult, we will come to the realization that it has awful consequences.
45. Therefore beware of murmuring against God, it is unprofitable, and refrain your tongue from complaining against your maker who has arrived in mercy to live with us in human form in the person of Apostle Peter Odoemena blessed be unto His most holy Name, for there is no word so secret that will go for nothing.
46. Any time you murmur, grumble and complain in your heart against an instruction from God, against the word of God, it goes to show that you are an unthankful and ungrateful fellow. You are an ingrate.
47. You are suffering from what I may call spiritual cardiovascular disease. You have a polluted heart, a heart full of evil. Your heart is not right with God and your fellow man. You are a stubborn, a subtle and a rebellious fellow. You are a wicked fellow before Almighty God.
48. Murmuring heart can never be satisfied. There is nothing you can do to a murmurer and a stubborn fellow to appease him or her.
49. Let us quickly go to the message BEWARE OF STUBBORNNESS VOLUME 1 page 121 verses 43 through 44 preached on 2nd December, 2018. To see what Almighty God said concerning such individual.
50. “He is full of complaining, his heart full with murmuring, always haughty as if he alone should be allowed in the house.
51. Both male and female, watching his countenance, you can even wish to jump from the window, and yet you still carry the Bible and come here to sing and dance. “Thank God, we are going to heaven.” Which heaven? Whose heaven?
52. Which heaven are you going to when your heart is polluted? A heart full of murmuring and complaining is a polluted heart an unconverted heart.
53. Murmuring is a visible sign of ungratefulness towards God’s providence to you as individuals and it stems from a rebellious heart, obstinate and unrepentant heart, and Almighty God said until the purity of your heart equates with the purity of the banquet hall, you will never smell paradise.

55. Until the purity of your heart equates with the purity of the banquet hall, you will not sit down there.
56. God never said the purity of your brain. He said, ‘The purity of your heart’ he is looking for that pure heart. Good heart.

59. Once you are living the life of disobedience to the truth, your heart can never be right with God. And I show you a sign: if you receive any instruction or command from the Lord, please, if you want to survive, take it the way it is given to you. Do not interpret it, do not reason it.
60. The moment you try to delay or reason it, the devil will magnify it, exaggerate everything until it will be impossible for you to obey it.
61. Every instruction from God is very easy, very simple. For the scripture said, “The lord has given us His instruction and his instructions are not grievous they are not cumbersome. They are very easy.”
62. But the moment you sigh, murmur and grumble, the devil will magnify that instruction above you so that you will never obey it. And that marks the beginning of your downfall, the beginning of your falling away.
63. Do not ever attempt bribing the Son of man for you know you have not succeeded in time past and you will not succeed even at this tail end.
64. 1 John 5:3 Amp. For the love of God is this: that we do His commands keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching. And these orders of His are not irksome, burdensome, oppressive, or grievous.
65. To every elect of God, the instructions from God are not troublesome. They are not irritating or frustrating, rather to every elect, there is that inner joy of obeying the word of God.
66. Do you know that murmuring dwindles your faith in Christ? And before you know what is happening in you, you are already out of the way of truth? When you are murmuring, you are creating room for the devil to operate in your heart. You are saying welcome to the devil and myriad of demons to have its home in your heart.
67. A murmuring heart is a devil’s experimental laboratory. A heart where the devil test-runs his plans before execution. Murmuring hinders the spiritual growth of an individual.
68. I am saying that murmuring against God is an indication that something is wrong with you, with your attitude and with your relationship with God.
69. Let me tell you, to unrepentant and obstinate sinners, murmuring has become a way of life. There are some who instead of patterning after Christ, they have mastered the art of murmuring and they murmur and complain virtually in everything. They are insatiable human beings. The problem is not murmuring, the problem is the heart of such an individual.
70. There is no way your heart will be right with God when you are murmuring and querying His instructions. The only channel through which the Devil operates in a man’s life is through the thoughts of his heart, which is then, made manifest through his character.
71. Let us be careful for every thought you produce and send out produces similar actions either good or evil.
72. Job 21:27 NKJV. Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which you wrongfully imagine against me.
73. God is saying that He knows all your thoughts and your scheme against Him. Your murmuring against Him, He knows all.
74. This is why the book of Philippians chapter 4 verses 8 enjoined us to focus our thoughts on or rather fill our minds with things that are true and honest.
75. Phllipaln 4:8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honourable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things, fix your minds on them.
76. Did it say we should murmur? It says we should do our best by filling our hearts and minds with the word and get on meditating on things that are true, noble, reputable not murmuring against our creator, the Son of Man or against one another.
77. Also Colossians 3:2 emphasized on the need for us to fix our thought onthings in heaven and not on thing that are here on earth so as not to give the Devil the room to operates. Amen.
