DO NOT ACT THOUGHTLESSLY, BUT TRY TO FIND OUT AND DO WHATEVER THE LORD WANTS YOU TO DO. PREACHED ON 20^TH NOVEMBER 2020 BY BISHOP JOE UKPONG HOUSEHOLD OF GOD AT AKWA IBOM

THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BEHEVE ANYHOW

Remain blessed my brethren. We thank God for granting us this very wonderful opportunity.

2.           It pleased Him that we should gather this faithful day He has made, to put ourselves in order, and to correct our records before Him.

3.           To see where the work is lacking and then make sure that we are doing that which God wants us to do at this hour.

4.           He is here to help us because He and His Word are one. And He will help us to see where we are failing, help us know the steps we must take to put everything right in our lives.

5.           There is a scripture I always want us to remember constantly in our lives. It helps us to know that it is not what I can do or what you can do, it is what God is doing in me and in you.

6.           Let us look at Philippians 2:13 from the Living Bible and the Amplified Bible. I said I want this scripture to be a scripture that is always in our hearts, in our minds, that yes, every credit must be given to God for it is not what I can do.

7.           You know if I can do something, I will boast that I am better than my brother, I am better than my sister; but whereby He is the one doing it, every honour, every glory goes to Him.

8.           Philippians 2:13 LB. “[13]For God is at work within you, helping you want to obey him, and then helping you do what he wants.” You see?

9.           For God is in you helping you want to obey Him, and helping you to do what He wants you to do. So where does the credit go? It goes to God. He is the only helping me, He is the one helping you; He is the one helping all our brethren worldwide to obey Him and to do the things He wants us to do.

10.        Amplified: “[Not in your own strength] for it is God who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for his good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.”

11.        So let us always have it in mind knowing that if you want God to always be with you, what you will use in attracting Him is your Obedience.

12.        As long as you are obedient, constantly making sure that you are doing that which is pleasing to God, He is always there to help you obey, He is always there to help you do the things He wants you to do.

13.        But whereby you resist Him by doing those things He said you should not do, whereby you refuse to obey Him by refusing to do the things He wants you to do, then you do not want Him to help you.

14.        The natural things type the spiritual. If somebody wants to give you a helping hand, you said no, I do not need your help, will he force himself in helping you?

15.        No, he will not! That is exactly what you are doing. When you refuse to obey the Word of God, you are simply telling Him I do not need Your help, I can do it by myself.

16.        He loves those challenges. He will now withdraw and then watch you, and you cannot do it for no human being can do it.

17.        We see it through the message and come to the point were we realize and know that every Messenger in every Age gone be failed.

18.        We have also come to that period because we are at the end. The end is always very, very dangerous, a lot fail. And if He had not appeared on the scene today, nobody can make it. This is the point.

19.        So I want to take my text from this scripture we want to read, Ephesians 5:15-17, Living Bible version. “[15-16] So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. [17]Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to”.

20.        Amen. So my topic this evening is: DO NOT ACT THOUGHTLESSLY, BUT TRY TO FIND OUT AND DO WHATEVER THE LORD WANTS YOU TO DO.

21.        Did you get it from that scripture? The scripture said, so be careful how you act, these are difficult days.

22.        Do not be fools, be wise, make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Then my topic is:

23.        “Do not act thoughtlessly but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to”. The scripture says we should be very careful how we live for the days are evil.

24.        We must be wise in our actions and make good use of every opportunity God is giving to us to do His Will.

25.        That means we must find out the Will of our God before we take any step. It is not good for any of us to be forgetful of the things that pertaineth to you and to me as children of God.

26.        Do not forget who you are. Also, do not forget the hour you are living in, because the hour we are living in right now is very, very delicate.

27.        Anything you are doing that is not in line with the messages we have received, should be avoided. We should avoid it because this is not the period for you to begin to do things anyhow. That is why the topic is saying, do not act thoughtlessly.

28.        Do not act thoughtlessly, every action you want to take, think about it and do what He said. Stop and think. What did the Lord say about this very step I want to take? Is it according to His Will?

29.        If it is not according to His Will, withdraw. Remember the first scripture which I said should serve as our memory verse at all times. That God is in me, helping me to obey Him and also helping me to do the things He wants me to do.

30.        And I know that I cannot do it without Him, so if I refuse to do things rightly, He will leave me. Then how can I act rightly?

31.         I must always know that I need Him, and the only way I can attract Him always is to make sure I am in obedience. We do not act thoughtlessly because we need Him strictly to help us. Are you getting the message?

32.        Now we look into the message, AN UNBELIEVER IS A BURDEN TO HIMSELF. We want to read page 25 verse 33-35. “SO, PEOPLE LIMIT THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST. BUT IF, AS A CHILD OF GOD, YOU ARE NOT INVITING CHRIST, YOU ARE INDIRECTLY SENDING AN INVITATION TO WHAT? CRISES;”

33.        That is the truth. We limit it by the way we behave, instead of inviting Him. Then once you refuse to invite Him, what are you inviting? Crises.

34.        Because if you do not invite Christ, you invite crises. There must be that ‘C’ always, either you invite Christ or you invite crises.

35.        “MAKING YOUR HEART A FLOODGATE OF CRISES. YOU SEE THAT PERSON; WHEREVER HE PUTS HIS HANDS, NOTHING WORKS FOR HIM. NOT BECAUSE HE IS NOT TRYING TO DO WELL, BUT BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY FORCES ACTING AGAINST HIS PROGRESS. MANY FORCES ACTING AGAINST HIS SUCCESS. MANY FORCES ARE ACTING AGAINST EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM. WHERE ARE THOSE FORCES COMING FROM? FROM THE INDIVIDUAL HIMSELF.”

36.        From the individual himself. He is the cause of the problem. He is the cause because he has refused to invite Christ. And you know that you cannot bribe Him (Christ).

37.        The only thing you can give to Him is obedience. Once He sees obedience, He loves being there, he loves associating with you there.

38.        There is nothing you will place your hand that He will not make sure you succeed in doing it.

39.         But when you do not invite Him, when you want to do things in your own way, when you want to show Him that you are wiser than Him, He will leave you. It happens naturally; naturally a mother wants to help the child, a father wants to help the child, but when the child says no, they leave the child.

40.        And when the child now falls into trouble, that is the time that he will remember his mother. And that is what is happening to many of us till today in the faith.

41.        When all is well, Son of Man is not important until we run into trouble. This is not the attitude of a seed of God.

42.        To the seed of God, his Father is always important whether it is good or bad He is always important. He cannot do without his Father.

43.        This is the attitude of a seed of God. We should not allow ourselves to have the attitude of an unbeliever.

44.        Let us look at page 84 of the same message, verse 46-49. “IF A SEED OF GOD INVITES CHRIST TO HIS AFFAIRS, CHRIST AUTOMATICALLY AND PERMANENTLY REGISTERS HIS PRESENCE IN THE LIFE OF THAT SEED OF GOD.”

45.        If a seed of God invites Christ; in other words, it is optional because one thing you must see, is that God does not enforce Himself on anybody.

46.        You are the one that will invite Him. You are the one. Let me tell you one thing about these two spirits; the spirit of Christ and the spirit of the devil.

47.        They are all waiting for invitation. If you do not invite Christ, you are eventually inviting the devil.

48.        “That is why we have accidents and we have big problems. And at the mention of that name, we will be delivered from all those evils. In the same way, the child of the devil also makes an invitation.

49.        NONE OF THESE SPIRITS COME WITHOUT YOUR INVITATION.” Have you seen it?

50.         “SO YOU ARE EITHER INVITING THEM BY YOUR ACTION POSITIVELY OR NEGATIVELY. THE POSITIVE ACTION YOU EXHIBIT ON A DAILY BASIS IS AN INVITATION OF CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE.”

51.        Not once in a while O! The positive action you exhibit on a daily basis, invites Him into your life. It is easy to say, I cannot do without God, but then your action is showing that you can do without Him because you are doing the things He does not like.

52.        And there is no way He is going to associate with you when you are doing things that He does not like.

53.        “AND THE NEGATIVE ACTION THAT I TILT TO ON A DAILY BASIS, IS AN INVITATION OF CRISES INTO MY LIFE”.

54.        Amen. So you can now see, when you tilt to negative actions, you are inviting crises to your life, which is the devil. But once you are doing everything that He loves, you are inviting Him, for what you are doing is attracting Him.

55.        He is happy with what you are doing, and you will see Him supporting you. But He cannot support evil. He will always support that which is the Will of God when He sees you doing it on a constant basis.

GOD IS CLOSELY WATCHING OVER US AND OUR ACTION

I want us to look at Proverbs 5 verse 21, Living Bible. “[21]For God is closely watching you, and he weighs carefully everything you do.”

2.           God is closely watching you, so He sees clearly what you are doing. If you are doing something that is right, He is easily attracted to it.

3.           When you are doing that which is driving Him away, He will not come to you, He will be recording it against you.

4.           Let us go to page 88 verse 60. “GOD WATCHES CLOSELY EVERYTHING THAT WE ARE DOING TO MAKE SURE WE DO NOT WALK OUTSIDE HIS WILL.

5.           WHAT IS GOD USING TO WATCH OVER US? IS IT NOT HIS WORD? IT IS THE WORD OF GOD THAT WE USE IN WATCHING AND WEIGHING OURSELVES”.

6.           Amen. It is His Word He is using to watch over us. If I am using the Word of God to weigh myself and to check myself, you see, that is the same thing God is using to watch me too.

7.           He will be pleased if I am going by what He has taught me. I am like a child under close watch from parents to teachers in the school.

8.           The parents are watching the child, if the child is doing the things the parents have taught him, they are pleased. The teacher is watching this child in the school as well, if the child is doing exactly what the teacher is teaching, the teacher is pleased.

9.           The parents are pleased, the teacher is pleased, God is also pleased with that child. Where will be his starting point?

10.        The sky! It is his starting point because he is doing that which pleases God, God is interested in him.

11.        He is doing that which his Godly parents taught him. For once you do what your parents teaches you, you have done what God teaches you as long as your parents are Godly. For your parents are simply teaching you what they learnt from God.

12.        And so, once you are pleasing your parents, you are pleasing God and He is happy with you. These are natural laws we can see that work on a daily basis.

13.         I say this unto you that even if a child of a heathen does that which God said the child should do by obeying his or her parents, you will see that child progressing. Why because that is the promise of God;

14.        obey your parents and you will find favour before Me and before men. I tell you, it is working perfectly. So what then can we say of you children born in the Faith; born in Christ when you begin to do what He has asked you to do.

15.        Tell me how you will not progress before God and before men. It is not possible. From where we just read in the message, it said that we are the problem of ourselves. The individual is the one with these faults.

16.        God has taught us very well by showing us what is causing these problems; ‘So many voices’. Inside all these voices there is only but one that belongs to God.

17.         He now taught us very well so that we can identify His own Voice, and listen to only His own Voice and ignore these other voices.

18.         For every other voice apart from His own is from the devil.

19.         Let us go to the message, MIDNIGHT CRY volume 1. I want us to read just one page there. Page 21 verse 21-23. “BUT NOW, WE DO NOT WORSHIP GOD ACCORDING TO OUR OWN DESIRES.

20.        WE WORSHIP GOD ACCORDING TO HIS WILL. IF YOU DO NOT DO IT ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, YOU ARE DOING HIM A SERVICE, HEAR ME VERY WELL, OUTSIDE HIS WILL.

21.        THAT IS WHY WHATEVER SERVICE YOU ARE RENDERING TO GOD MUST BE IN AGREEMENT WITH THE WILL OF GOD. WHAT YOU ARE DOING, IS IT ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD?

22.        IF IT IS NOT ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD, YOU ARE DOING IT OUTSIDE THE WILL OF GOD.

23.        YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING IT FOR GOD BUT IGNORANTLY, YOU ARE REVERENCING THE DEVIL.”

24.        That is the truth. You are ignorantly reverencing the devil. For everything you do not do according to the Will of God, you are pleasing the devil.

25.        He is the person you are reverencing, he is the person you are giving every honour to. And that is why it behooves on us to be wise, not to be foolish.

26.        God is saying that we should not do things thoughtlessly. We must stop and think. This thing I am doing, am I pleasing my God or pleasing the devil?

27.        For once you fail to please God, you are pleasing the devil. And who is going to come to your rescue? Is it not God? How can He then come to your rescue when you are pleasing the devil.

28.        You see, there is problem with human beings. That is why the scripture says, a man spoils his way and turns round to blame it on God.

29.        After spoiling your own way, you turn around and you are blaming God. If you want to do things exactly as God said, are you not making good your ways?

30.        You are making good your ways. We continue as we look at another message, EXAMINE YOUR LIFE IN THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH YOU HAVE RECEIVED, page 70 verse 4-5. “This is why every opportunity God gives us to live on earth is to sanitize our lives, to better our lives.”

31.        We better our lives, we sanitize our lives with every opportunity that He gives to us.

32.        “If there is any mistake I made yesterday but could not correct it, I can correct it today. That we are living on is not for enjoyment..”

33.        No, or to mess up ourselves. “..or to mess up ourselves or harden up in iniquity. We are living on to purify ourselves more, because as you grow, so wisdom and understanding come into you”.

34.        That is the truth. Everyday you are growing, you are not growing younger. As much as you were children, you are now growing to adulthood.

35.        You are adults now, growing older everyday. My wife and I that were younger are now growing older and I am telling you the truth, we are getting wiser.

36.        How are we getting this wisdom? It is from the Word of God. So, the Word of God that has given me the wisdom now, will make me to act better than I acted yesterday. There was a foolish action I took yesterday because of ignorance of the Word of God. Now I came to the Word of God, it gave me wisdom, I should act better now.

37.        That is why you find out that when you have become wiser, you have gotten that wisdom from the word of God, then you repackage yourself and know how to possess your vessel unto honour.

38.        What you should be doing is re-examining your life, what I should be doing is re-examining my life, to know whether your life or my life is in line with the messages we are receiving.

39.        Page 72 verse 7. “Once I re-examine my life with the whole doctrine and messages God has been giving us, and I find out that I am in line, I will continually give God all the praise and honour. I will be praying to Him to uphold me least I fall:” That is the truth. “Lord, uphold me least I fall”.

40.        Why, because I have already known that He is the one that is helping me to obey Him and helping me to do the things He wants me to do.

41.         My joy now is that O! I have been doing that which is pleasing to Him, so He is helping me. So I thank Him. I say, ‘Lord, the next one I want you to do for me now is please uphold me’.

42.         He has already told us, you that think you are standing, be careful lest you fall. I am not the one standing, it is God who is upholding me.

43.        Once you have checked and found yourself in line, the next thing is to thank Him. ‘Lord I glorify your name for helping me, please I still need your help, uphold me lest I fall’.

44.        We go to the message, YOU ARE NOT TOO FAR FROM THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT ONE THING REMAINETH volume 1, page 64 verse 19-20. “Now you may know the truth and believe the truth. When you know the truth and believe the truth, you are not too far from the kingdom of heaven like Cornelius.

45.        He knew the truth and he believed the truth, but he was not too far from the kingdom of heaven. [Acts 10] WHY?

46.        ONE THING REMAINETH. I SAY, ONE THING REMAINETH. WHAT IS THE ONE THING. ACTING ON THE TRUTH YOU HAVE KNOWN AND BELIEVED”.

47.        That is the one thing, that is what remains. Acting on it (The Truth)! And eventually, He God, seeing we are doing those things that are pleasing to Him, He now helps us to act on the Truth and to perform it. And that is what brings us into Christ’s Holy Family. So who do we give the glory to?

48.        To Him because He helped us to obey and He helped us to do the things He wants and that step carried us in. But somebody who does not do this, he is still away from this blessing.

49.        We are going to see that even the scripture says, some are in heaven, some are still trying to come in. It is fulfilling now, clearly fulfilling before you and I.

50.        Let us go to page 66 verse 26. “Begin now to narrow this truth down to yourself. Have you known the truth? Have you believed the truth? One thing remaineth. And that one thing that remaineth is where I am standing and saying that you are not too far from the kingdom of heaven”.

51.        You see that acting on the Truth is the one thing that remaineth. What caused it? A lot of us are not thinking and checking whether what we are doing is what the Master taught us; is it pleasing to the Master?

52.         For nobody will help you, but the Master. I cannot help my wife, my wife cannot help me, neither can both of us help our children.

53.        We are all to be helped by the Master. And so when we all stand, doing that thing that is pleasing to the Master, you will see the Master come in and give us a helping hand to obey Him, a helping hand to do those things that are pleasing to Him, then we cross into His Family.

54.         But as long as we do not do those things that are pleasing to Him, you have not invited Him. He will be standing and watching you, and without Him coming to your rescue, you cannot make it.

55.         If any human being born of a woman can make it without Him, why did He come? There was no need for Him to come. But He came so that He can help us. Once you do not need His help, He will fold His hand and watch you, and nothing in this world will ever make you make it without Him.

56.         Page 69 verse 33-34. “Some are already in the kingdom, resting. Already in Paradise…” You can see that this message we are holding to, is a prophetic message. Once you see Him talking, He has shown you that thing already in time pass. Today this message has fulfilled. Some are in the kingdom resting. Is it not exactly what is there? It is Sir!

57.        Please read it again. “Some are already in the kingdom, resting. Already in Paradise and they know they are there. 24 hours, they are there. No shaking. “Yes! This is because the Bible cannot tell lies on this matter.

58.        We that have known the truth, have believed the truth and have practiced the truth, we are already in there, while the rest are still operating outside,..”

59.        Who helped you to practice the truth? Him! Why? You were doing the things that were pleasing to Him, so you invited Him and He did help you! And those that are still operating outside have not gotten that revelation to know that you must do something to attract Him for He is the one that can help you.

60.        This is why I love the message of our late brother, Teacher James Nnadi; he said in the mortuary, something can take place there. You that is pleasing unto God, that has gone to the mortuary, if God wants, He can resurrect you from there.

61.        He went to his friend Lazarus and brought him out, even though rot had set in on the body. For after three days, the body will go bad. Yet he went there after four days and He did it. So what is impossible with this God?

62.        The only thing He wants to see is that desire. That you are desiring to make things right, He will help you.

63.         He is a loving and very kind father, but let Him see that desire, for He does not force Himself on any human being and no human being can force himself on Him.

64.         But let Him see that desire. What are you desiring? “I know I cannot help myself, I need you Father, to come to my rescue”. You will see Him.

65.         “We that have known the truth, have believed the truth and have practiced the truth, we are already in there, while the rest are still operating outside, with some struggling to come in and some are already on their way out, their spirits collapsed, their faith fainting, expectation failing them. Why? Because of religion”.

66.        They are mixing it with their human philosophy. That is why He said, do not allow anything you have in you to mix with the Word, get rid of it.

67.        You know, there were things we were taught; how God is, the way He behaves, things He does. Do not ever bring those things (your perspective) into Christ, because what you are going to see now is quite different.

68.        What the scripture told us is that when He the Comforter, the Holy Ghost that is The Son of Man, appears on the scene, He will take us to all the truth. So we did not have any truth.

69.        We were waiting for Him to come and take us to all the truth, and He has appeared and has opened our eyes of understanding. So, do not ever mix anything with it. What we have received is Mercury, it cannot mix with anything. You are to act on that Mercury as He has said it.

70.        If you mix anything, you will have problem, confusion will set into you. And when confusion sets into you; once a man is confused, he does not know what to do again. Watch a confused person, during an accident.

71.        If an accident occurs now, because of confusion, the victim can rise up from that ground and run into another upcoming vehicle and die.

72.        Many times, it is not that accident that kills the person, it is confusion caused by fear because as he stood up; you know something knocked him down, so he stood up with confusion and he did not know where he was running into, he ran into a running vehicle  and it finished him. What hit him never finished him, it was the confused state that finished him.

73.        Amen! What am I saying, we must now recognize God who helps us, and how He helps us It is because we did those things that are pleasing Him which in the course of doing it, we invite Him.

74.        So you must learn a lesson from there and recognize that, that thing that pleased him and invited Him, once you continue in it, that is how you will continue to have Him around you. Do you not enjoy having Him around you?

75.        Anything that will cause you to miss Him is your greatest enemy. And that is what we are talking about. Do not ever allow it, do not ever!

3

ALWAYS HAVE A POSITIVE

 HEART (THOUGHTS)

Do not listen to anything, there should be no other attraction. What we need is to have 24 hours of relationship/fellowship with our God on a daily basis. Let us go to page 79 verse 58.

2.           “THAT WHICH YOU THINK GOD DOES NOT KNOW DOES NOT EXIST. WHAT ALLAH DOES NOT KNOW DOES NOT EXIST.

3.           HE KNOWS THE THOUGHTS OF OUR HEARTS. EVEN THE WORDS THAT PROCEED OUT OF OUR MOUTHS, THEY EXISTED AS THOUGHTS BEFORE THEY CAME OUT OF OUR MOUTHS AS WORDS AND THEN THEY ARE EXPRESSED BEFORE OUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS. A WORD IS NOTHING BUT A THOUGHT EXPRESSED. TRUE OR FALSE?”.

4.           A word is nothing but thoughts expressed. So it is your thought you are expressing through your words. And that is why when David found out that his thought can cause him problem before Almighty God, he said, “Lord I have placed your Word in my heart, so that even my thought will be pleasing unto You”.

5.           Because it is that thought that David is going to express as words even before God and before his fellow man. So we must make sure that the Word of God is in our hearts, so that even our own thoughts will be pleasing to God.

6.           Look, God wants us to have positive thoughts with every human being. Forget the way they are acting, they cannot act better. Forget it!

7.           A man cannot act better than what he knows. It is what he knows that he is doing. All your neighbors that are around you, your co-workers, your school mates and everyone, they cannot act better than what they know.

8.           We must realize this fact so that we will always have a positive heart before all men. “O! This man cannot act better, Lord please forgive him”.

9.           Even if he acted in a way of insulting you, he cannot act better. That was the way Jesus was looking at every human being, and that was why he was able to pray for them and say ‘Father forgive them’.

10.        That was why he was able to see his disciples and say ‘Peter, I have prayed for you because Satan would have destroyed you’. Because he knows that he (Peter) cannot act better. He said ‘I have many things I will tell you now but you cannot bear them.

11.        When He the Comforter comes, He shall lead you into all truths’. You see, this is where the world misses it all. Christ said, ‘I have many things to tell you but you cannot bear them now’; in other words, those things are not written inside the Bible.

12.        Therefore, what would have been in the heart of every human being is to be anxiously seeking for this Comforter, the Holy Ghost.

13.        When you link it up, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost is the Son of Man. Once you have seen one, you have gotten it. The Holy Ghost is the Comforter, the Comforter is the Son of Man and once He has come, our problems are over; no wonder the prophet said once you have found Him; The Son of Man who is no other person but the Al-Mahdi, once you have found Him, go and pay your allegiance and never move away from Him, because that is your only hope.

14.        And this is exactly what we are talking to ourselves about. Whatever you did that attracted God, do not play with it again. Continue to do that thing that is pleasing unto Him. Why will you be foolish to run away from that thing and do another one that will displease Him?

15.        Can’t you recall to yourself and remember that the time you were not pleasing Him, it was not comfortable for you. But now that you had the opportunity and you could please Him, do not play nor return to that old condition again.

16.        No play, at all, at all. Page 89 verse 19-20. “YOU HAVE BELIEVED ALL THESE THINGS, BUT ONE THING REMAINETH. BELIEVING AND YOUR LIFE REMAINING THE SAME IS A SURE SIGN OF REJECTION.

17.        BELIEVING AND REMAINING THE SAME, ACTING THE SAME AS YOU WERE BEFORE THE TRUTH CAME TO YOU IS A SIGN OF TOTAL REJECTION.

18.        HOW DO I KNOW YOU HAVE BELIEVED? THE MANIFESTATION IS THE INTERPRETATION. WHY? BY THEIR FRUITS, YOU SHALL KNOW THEM. BY THEIR FRUIT, YOU WILL KNOW THEM THAT BELIEVE AND THEY THAT BELIEVE NOT”.

19.        That is why we are saying, when we sit down, we should think about our lives. We can now see our foolishness, why we acted foolishly. But now that we have become wiser we can look into our actions.

20.        Are they different from that of time past? Because you have now found out that this is the thing that is pleasing to the Lord, that is, your obedience to Him.

21.        You then take a decision not to play with it again. But in time past you played with it and you saw what it resulted to. Was it joyful? Was it a happy thing? No! Rather, you were standing at the point of rejection.

22.        Several times we keep hearing the voice ‘Stop and think’. Many are not stopping and thinking. Because it is when you stop and think that you can take caution to yourself.

23.        The scripture says pause, then you pause. Ask yourself the question, if not for the Creator who is The Son of Man, Apostle Peter Odoemena (Blessed be His most Holy Name), will you and I be in existence?

24.        We will not be. If He had not opened our eyes, we will be acting like those in the world today. Last night, I was moving around in my place of work, I was praying. A lady came that night and was praying too.

25.         I said, ‘God, if not that You opened my eyes, I will not be better than this woman. I would not. I will act this same way’. She was so sure of what she was doing. She was weeping and crying to an idol she thinks is a reality. Believing that the idol will help her. That is, the image they erected there called Mary. She believes Mary is going to do something for her, probably talk to her son Jesus and her son will do something for her.

26.        She was very sincere yet she is sincerely wrong. Why is she doing it? Her eyes were not opened. And in that condition, you can appreciate what God has done for you.

27.         Has he not opened your eye? Will you not have followed the rest if He had not added you into His family, the family of God?

28.        Page 109 verse 11-12. “Are you a member of this great family of God? What does it take to be a member of this great family?

29.        It is a universal family because it contains nation’s and kindred’s throughout the whole earth. Are you one of them? Have you been admitted into that Family? Are you born into it or are you trying to join it?

30.        Are you sojourning there as a stranger who has a limited time to stay or are you there exercising your rights and privileges as a bona fide member born and bred in that family whose right can never be denied or tampered with throughout eternity?”.

31.        These are questions that you sit down and ask yourself, and you give yourself clearly an answer. If you have an answer to it, you have seen yourself as a bona fide child of this family, the next thing that should come to your heart is protecting the name of this family.

32.        Because you did not join the family, you are born into the family. You are a bona fide child of that family whose rights (just as we have read) can never be denied or tampered with throughout eternity.

33.        Why is God talking to us this way? He wants us to stand firmly, nothing should shake us.

34.        Page 115 verse 29.  “I want you to be firmly established where no devil, nor devilish suggestion can make you to shake or begin to query yourself, that even if you err, you know you have erred, and you know your way back”.

35.        That was why He was giving us an example; He said, if you and I have entered the Holy of Holies, if anything should push us out, we will fall where the blood is, where we are sanctified and returned. You cannot get to the world again. You cannot get there again.

36.        But if you are in the kingdom of God; the kingdom of God is the church, anything that happens to you there, you fall out into the world. This is the thing that God wants us to see and understand.

37.        He said, ‘I want you to be firmly established so that nothing shakes you. Even if you fail, you will know how to get yourself back’.

38.        Just like the prodigal son, nobody told him anything, No! He knew he was wrong, he had taken a wrong step.

39.        It came to a point he said to himself, ‘What am I doing? Going to dustbin to look for something to eat when my father is a king? No. I will go back to him. I will say Lord, I do not want the sonship again, I just want to be a servant. At least it is better than me eating from this place’.

40.        But when he went back, the father did not accept him back as a servant, he welcomed him back home to his place as a son.

41.        We must recognize these things. That is why God told us, once you fail you know how to find your way back, for you are a son, a bona fide member of that family.

42.        Who helped you to be there? God. Without Him will you be there? No. That is why I said let that scripture remain our watch word at every time, knowing that this God is the one that is helping us.

43.        Page 116 verse 32-33.”THE MORE YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, THE HAPPIER YOU WILL BE WITH THIS FAITH..” Is it not true?

44.        The more you know who you are, the happier you are with this Faith. “..AND THE STRONGER YOUR FAITH WILL BE ESTABLISHED ON A FIRM FOUNDATION”. That is the truth.

45.        “YOU CAN KNOW WHEN THE DEVIL IS TALKING AND WHEN GOD IS TALKING, FOR ANYBODY TALKING CONTRARY TO THAT WHICH YOU ARE, WILL YOU LISTEN?” Never!

46.         “who can know you more than yourself. Who knows the spirit that is in a man more than that man? Who does not know whose interest he is serving? I know the man whose interest I am serving.

47.        I am not claiming to be what I am not. I am not making a false claim”.

48.        For you and I know that we are not making false claims. We are children of God, we know the God we are serving. We are not ignorant of the God we are worshipping, we are not imagining anything, we are worshipping The Son of Man Apostle Peter Odoemena (blessed be His Most Holy Name).

49.         We are not at all confused about what we are doing, we know who our Father is, we hear His voice. Wherever we are we do not play with His voice. So this is not something that we are going to stand up and say we are not sure; that is why we say if somebody is speaking contrary, we will not listen.

50.         I cannot listen to that knowing who I am. Hence, God made us to see that the more you know yourself, the happier you are, because you know who you are.

51.         I am a child of God. He said, do not hide your own identity wherever you are, make it known to the people.

52.         And because you have made it known to the people, you yourself will be careful to live that life of a child of God.

53.        But when you hide your identity, there is a tendency that you are hiding the identity because you want to behave like them, because nobody knows you. Hence, you want to disguise yourself and behave like them.

54.        But let it be known to you that even the natural types the spiritual. No matter how a King’s son tries to hide himself, people must spot him out. People know him!

55.        Many atimes, he will come dressing like one of them trying to behave like one of them. But immediately he enters there, somebody will spot him out, ‘Look at the King’s son there’. Can he hide himself?

56.        No! That is why he is careful. Before he does one thing, journalists have gathered around him, asking one question or the other, so he is very careful because no matter how he tries to hide himself, he can always be singled out.

57.        So also God is saying do not hide yourself, do not hide your identity. Declare who you are wherever you find yourself.

58.        I am a child of God, I am not claiming what I am not. I know my Father and I know who I am worshipping, because I know that the Comforter has come, and the Comforter is no other person than The Son of Man Apostle Peter Odoemena (blessed be His Most Holy Name).

59.        My family and I entered into a contractual agreement with the Almighty God, that in life or in death we will worship Him for He is our Maker, our Creator and our all and all.

60.        We could not have come into existence without Him. That is why we cannot play with His voice, we are determined to obey Him everyday.

61.        We entered into a contractual agreement with our mouth. I opened my mouth, I said, ‘Lord, my family and I will worship You the True and the Only God’.

62.        That is why we also recognize clearly that the insulator against God’s calamity is obedience to the truth, strict allegiance to our God, that is the insulator.

63.        Today His calamity is upon the face of the Earth, terrible things are happening on the land. He has already said it before that so many unknown diseases are appearing.

THE INSULATOR TO GOD’S WORD                

AN UNBELIEVER IS A BURDEN TO HIMSELF page 71 verse 7. “Who is now there causing all the troubles in all the world

2.             Now there has been another record of another disease which has not been announced very well but I can read it out. Brother David sent it to me. I will read it out so that it can be in the tape. It was sent to me by deacon David Mbah.

3.           It says; Officials warn of unknown pneumonia in Kazakhstan, that is deadlier than Corona virus. Chinese officials warn of an unknown pneumonia that is in Kazakhstan, that is deadlier than Corona virus. That is the pneumonia.

4.           And we should note that God said, do not expect anything to get better, that it will be addition upon addition”. Amen.

5.            His calamity is coming down, gradually it is increasing in tempo. What is the insulator to this calamity? Obedience. Strict allegiance to this God.

6.           This disease mentioned here is different from the one that comes as boils O! This is a different one. Already we have heard in Nigeria of some unknown diseases.

7.            It has happened in Kogi State, it has happened in Enugu State, in Benue State. They said these are  diseases that nobody knows, and so many have already died in 50’s, not small, small numbers.

8.           So when we see and recognize these things, we then understand that it is not an hour to be stupid in action. That is why our topic said do not act thoughtlessly, think before you do anything.

9.            For I am sure, I am certain of the God that I am worshipping. He is not imaginary and I know the things that please Him.

10.        I know that what pleases Him so greatly, is obedience. It is obedience, forget about any sacrifice.

11.        Remember that worshipping God is a selfless sacrifice, it is something that you have to sacrifice yourself completely unto God. Whatever that God wants you to do, is what you will do. Selfless service!

12.        That is exactly what Abraham our father gave. God told him, ‘Leave where you are, go to where I will show you’. Abraham did not even want to ask ‘How am I going to survive there’, he left.

13.        When it came to the point of offering his son to God, he did not even ask the question; ‘ah! Is this not the son you said you are going to give to me?’ He did not ask, instead he went there to offer him knowing that there is nothing impossible with this God.

14.        You must first of all give yourself as a sacrifice to God, so that whatever He is demanding from you can never be difficult for you. But as long as you do not give yourself, it will be difficult when He asks for anything. Amen!

15.        So this God that we are worshipping, we are very sure and certain of Him. We want to go to the same message we are reading; WE ARE NOT TOO FAR FROM THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BUT ONE THING REMAINETH volume 2.

16.        Let us look at page 31 verse 34. “God made it clear that it is in the period of waiting that people stray away from their hearts.

17.        You begin to see inordinate affections, inordinate and unbridled desires. Desire to be this. Desire to be that. Things that run contrary to their belief.

18.        You begin to see people contradicting even their testimonies because their hearts have been drawn away. And they are enticed.” And we are in that waiting period. It is a dangerous period.

19.        I want to show you something, let us go to the message; AN UNBELIEVER IS A BURDEN TO HIMSELF page 93 verse 10-11.

20.        “IT MIGHT EVEN BE WHEN THAT PROBLEM MIGHT BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO BEAR, AND THAT NEGATIVE WORD WILL CHANGE YOUR ETERNAL DESTINY.”

21.        Have you understood what we read from there? Let me read it again so that you will see how it links to what we are talking.

22.         God made it clear that it is in that period of waiting, that people stray away from their hearts. You begin to see inordinate affections, inordinate and unbridled desires. Desires to be this. Desires to be that. Things that run contrary to their believe.

23.         You begin to see people contradicting their testimonies because their hearts have been drawn away and enticed.

24.        “IT MIGHT EVEN BE WHEN THAT PROBLEM MIGHT BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO BEAR, AND THAT NEGATIVE WORD WILL CHANGE YOUR ETERNAL DESTINY.” That negative word will change your Eternal destiny.

25.        One positive word changed the eternal destination of a thief. One positive word! He turned around after discussing with his colleague, he told the colleague, ‘Shut up! Do not talk about Him (Christ). We are very guilty of what we did and that is what we are suffering. This man is suffering for what He never did’.

26.        He then turned around and said, ‘Master, remember me in Your kingdom’. That was the positive word; instant positive word that changed his destination. He (Jesus Christ) said, ‘Tonight you will be with me’.

27.        A thief that had no opportunity of sitting down at the feet of Christ. Only at that cross he recognized that this is God. He said, ‘Please, remember me in your kingdom’.

28.         I was a witness when we  went to the wedding of Bishop Mwantu in Aba, the musician who was  playing (a life band), when he recognized who the Man in our midst was, he sang this song of the thief. Played the drum and said ‘God remember me in your kingdom’.

29.        The Son of Man went and anointed him and his drum. Who told him to sing the song? He caught a revelation. He said, ‘Inside all these human beings sitting down here, this man is different’.

30.         So let us know that one positive word can change your destination for good as much as one negative word can finish you. After believing. O! Only for one little negative thought to just change your heart. Your testimony has changed.

31.        This is what we are reading from this message my Brethren. That is exactly what the message here is saying.

32.        “BUT I PRAY THAT IT WILL NEVER BE OUR PORTION. AMEN.”

33.        Yes, we read it again. “IT MIGHT EVEN BE WHEN THAT PROBLEM MIGHT BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO BEAR, AND THAT NEGATIVE WORD WILL CHANGE YOUR ETERNAL DESTINY. BUT I PRAY THAT IT CAN NEVER BE OUR PORTION. AMEN.” Amen. It is such a dangerous moment.

34.         I want to read something again from the message, CROSS-CHECK YOUR STANDPOINT preached by Bishop Chidubem Jonathan. Here he opened our eyes to see something, and it says; on page 44 verse 72-80.

36.        “They failed to apply faith. These are people that left Egypt by faith not knowing where they were going but immediately they sighted their destination, there was joy in the camp that it would soon be over. Many leaders and advisers emerged with various teachings and ideas and they were derailed.

37.        It was towards the end that Peter scolded Jesus being that he lost faith in what He said.

38.        It was at the end that all the disciples became indignant at Jesus which culminated into His betrayal and crucifixion.

39.        Are we not at the end? This is why we should continually cross-check our standpoint.

40.        Stop complaining that the message is harsh that we always preach war, war, war. Yes it is more than war, for the greatest battle that has been on since the creation of Man is about to be decided.

41.        That’s why Joshua pulled his sword ready to strike: are you for us or against us.

42.         You must declare your standpoint no matter who you are. That was the beginning of his ministry. Towards the end when he was concluding he gave a little consideration to the Gibeonites contrary to the revealed word of God their power was diminished.

43.        When Moses lowered it a bit by considering the people’s opinion they suffered defeat.

44.        This is the last of all, all the angels, all the creatures, all the saints gone before are waiting hanging their hope on the Son of Man for He is the last hope of all that worshipped God.

45.        No other person is coming. This is why we pray according to David in Psalm 80:17-18. Saying, Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. So will not we go back from there:

46.        quicken us, and we will call upon thy Name. Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

47.        The Son of Man is the only possibility of our salvation. From Adam till date who has escaped this hour?

48.        Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the Son of Man whom thou madest strong for thyself. So that we will not go back from Thee”.

49.        For the hour we are talking about is a delicate hour. We have to see all these things, that God did not just tell us to be careful for no reason.

50.        We read it there and it made it clear that in the period of waiting, that people stray away from their hearts. So, all these are examples that we are given from different messages, pointing to the hour that we are living in that we should not allow our hearts to drift off.

51.        God gave us a message as a way of cleansing us by helping us to know the voices we should close the door of our hearts against. He had to name the voices ; intellect, feeling, instinct.

52.        These things are what mix up and forms imaginations in us. We start imagining things we are not supposed to imagine.

53.         That is why at the hour that we are living in, God is warning us to be careful of any voice that is contrary to the voice of the Master. Anything you know that is contrary, avoid it. Do not even give a second thought to that thing that you are hearing.

54.        For the hope of all beings is in this very Son of Man. He is the Last Hope. When He appears, every saint of God, wherever they are, are rejoicing. For our hope has come.

55.         Even they that are at the altar, they are rejoicing. Yes, the hope of mankind has appeared on the scene.

IF YOU ARE NOT SELF SACRIFICING, YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO WORSHIP GOD

Let us also read this place in page 48 quote in the box. “ANY GROUP THE LORD IS LEADING IS A VICTORIOUS GROUP. ANY INDIVIDUAL THE LORD IS LEADING MUST BE A VICTORIOUS INDIVIDUAL.

2.           ALLOW THE LORD TO LEAD YOU AND VICTORY IS COMPLETELY SURE. BUT WHERE HE IS NOT LEADING, DO NOT MAKE A MOVE FOR DISASTER AWAITS YOU.

3.           THE LORD HAS APPEARED TO LEAD US HOME. IF YOU BELIEVE IT SAY AMEN.

4.           You have seen Him that has given us the victory. That is why the book of Jeremiah the prophet said, “To Him belongeth all the praise, honour, victory, dominion, majesty forever more”.

5.           So we can see, that everything is pointing us to The Son of Man. That is our hope and that is why we cannot play at this hour with anything that has to do with The Son of Man.

6.           Yes, we do not play with it, we make sure that we are holding on to what God has given to us at the hour.

7.           We continue as we go back to the message, YOU ARE NOT TOO FAR FROM THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BUT ONE THING REMAINETH volume 2, page 37 verse 47.

8.            “WORSHIPPING GOD IS A SELFLESS SACRIFICE.” Have you seen it? Worshipping God is what? A selfless sacrifice.

9.           “Yes! IF YOU ARE NOT SELF SACRIFICING, YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO SERVE GOD.” If you are not Self sacrificing, you are not qualified to serve God.

10.        You must sacrifice yourself to God. When you sacrifice yourself to God, whatever He ask will never be so difficult for you.

11.        Anything He is asking you to give, you know that God can give you back that thing in ten hundred folds. Nothing is impossible with Him. So why will you then begin to bother yourself about it. Whatever He will asks you for, you can give it to Him.

12.         Page 44 verse 66-67. “GOD IS NOT GOD TO YOU UNTIL HIS WORDS BECOME YOUR FOCAL POINT, YOUR CONTROLLER, YOUR DECIDER AND EVERYTHING.

13.        IF HE IS YOUR GOD ACTUALLY, WHY IS HIS WORD NOT MAKING ANY IMPACT IN YOUR LIFE? WHY IS YOUR LIFE NOT CHANGING FOR THE BETTER? WHY ARE YOU STANDING WHERE YOU HAD BEEN STANDING EVEN WHEN YOU KNEW HIM NOT?”

14.        That is the thing. Many are not stopping to ask themselves these questions. When you look at your life; what was the beginning of your life?

15.        You saw so many mistakes in your life. You made those mistakes because you were foolish, ignorant of who was before you.

16.        Now you have come to realize it, remember that as you are growing everyday, wisdom is increasing. Now you have come to know more about your Father, you should not play with Him. When you recognize these things, it helps you to take your stand.

17.        The message says, the more you know who you are, the happier you are with the Faith, and the more stronger you are standing. For you know who you are, you know your Father, you know that there is nothing impossible that this your Father cannot do.

18.        Why do you think that the young lady in the plane (in the illustration God often uses when teaching us; whose father was a pilot and they had flight troubles in the air while embarking on a trip together) was so confident about her father? It is because she knew that there is no situation beyond her father’s control, that was why she told her friend ‘Forget about it.

19.        Is my father still in the cockpit?’ She said ‘Yes’. She said, ‘O! Forget it’, and she slept. When they arrived, she was boastful and proud to say, ‘Did I not tell you? I told you that my father will take care of the situation’.

20.        This is what happens to every seed of God. At the end of it all, we must always ask all doubters, ‘Did I not tell you? I am sure and certain of my Father, that my Father cannot fail’.

21.         It is at this hour we are standing in, that nothing should shake you.

22.         Page 57 verse 25-26. “Do we now possess the life of THE SON OF MAN, the characteristics of THE SON OF MAN who is the same living God, Christ revealed, becoming flesh among us, from where we are now receiving the blessings of God?

23.        He is our masterpiece, our Instructor and our Guide. Have we now acquired his life?” You see, these are the questions that God is asking us.

24.        That is why I said when God gives us opportunities like this to come before His presence, it is for us to put ourselves in order, to check our records, discover where the work is needed and then work on it, to make sure that our life reflects the character of the Son of Man.

25.        We must come to the point that we can say, ‘It is no longer I that liveth, but it is Christ that liveth in me’. We should come to the point of telling somebody, follow me as I follow Christ. Anything you see me do, do it because I am following Christ in doing it.

26.        We must come to that point, because every year you are growing, you do not remain the same. God is asking, how is it that my Word is not having impact in your life?

27.        The Word of God must have an impact in the life of a child of God, why, because the child of God is checking himself on a daily basis. I will not rest till I have seen the character of The Son of Man, till  I have seen that life of The Son of Man in me, fully manifested.

28.        Then I can stand anywhere and say, it is no longer I that liveth, but The Son of Man that liveth in me. Do not relax until you come to that point.

29.         “Can we boldly stand before Him and say, “I am a replica of THE SON OF MAN?” That is exactly the point God wants us to be, so that we can stand boldly anywhere, before Him, before any man and say ‘I am a replica of The Son of Man’.

30.        “For saint Paul came to a point where he said, “Follow me as I follow Christ. Imitate me as I imitate Him.” Amen.

31.        Page 61 verse 37-41. “And I remembered what the prophet said concerning such a situation, how the Bride will recognize who she is.

32.        When you have come into the family, you are a part of the family; an inseparable member of the family. Protection becomes your utmost concern.”

33.        Protection becomes your utmost concern. Your concern is to protect the name of that family, the integrity of the family you belong to.

34.        Look at the example Elder Phinehas was giving to us of a man he knows, who was always coming to the local drinking joint to drink burkutu (locally brewed beer),  sit down with others and chat.

35.        But when Jonah David Jang became the governor of Plateau state in those days, he recognized him as an intelligent man, a man who read to a great level. As a humble fellow he was not feeling biased, he was mixing with everybody.

36.        But upon his recognition, he was made a Commissioner. From the day he was declared a commissioner, immediately his name was announced, all those areas he used to go to, people he used to sit with, did not see him again.

37.         He became careful. He does not enter anywhere anyhow, nobody sees him again in those places. This is because he knew the office he is holding now. He must protect the integrity of that office.

38.         So if a man naturally speaking can do that, what about us children of God. When you are in the family of God, your utmost interest and concern is protection of the name and integrity of that family.

39.        “Then you begin to value the need for protecting the reputation and integrity of the family because you are involved. You begin to see yourself as a permanent representative of the family, that whatever goes around you – good or bad – must be attributed to the family.”

40.        Any life we live now, any way we behave must be attributed to the family of God. That way we are acting and behaving, if it is contrary to the teachings we have received, we will be bringing dishonour to the family.

41.         That is why protection is the concern of the child of God now. Just watch yourself like that Commissioner. Immediately his name was announced, he was not yet sworn in O! Just that his name was given and sent.

42.        You know they will first send it to the house for screening. Immediately his name was announced, nobody saw him around those places any longer. He was scarcely seen because he knew the height he was taken to.

43.         It is just like you and I recognizing the height that we have been taken to. Remember a step was left, but God, the Holy Ghost lifted you and put you there. Do you then play with it? No!

44.        “I am seeing mere church members who know the truth, believe the truth, but one thing remaineth. And that one thing is what makes you a member of the family of God.”

45.        That one thing is what makes you a member, not merely a church goer. That one thing takes you in there, do not go back to being a church member.

46.         “It is not your name. It is not your title or the position you are holding. No! IT IS THE LIFE OF YOUR FATHER THAT IS IN YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE BORN BY YOUR FATHER.

47.        THE GENES OF YOUR FATHER ARE IN YOU. YOU POSSES ALL HIS ATTRIBUTES AND ALL HIS CHARACTERISTICS. NO MORE. NO LESS.

48.        WHEN YOU HEAR THAT GOD’S NATURE IS YOUR TICKET TO PARADISE, STOP JOKING WITH IT. YOU SEE WHY A SEED OF GOD DOES NOT MAKE A PRACTICE OF SIN, FOR THE LIFE OF GOD IS IN HIM. AND BECAUSE HE IS BORN OF GOD, HE DOES NOT CONTINUE IN UNBELIEF.”

49.        He is born of God, the seed of God. Look, this thing we are talking about is not a joke. Something has been implanted into you and I. By that Word that crossed you over, something is inside of you, the gene, the attribute of God.

50.        When you do things you are not meant to do, you become restless. You cannot rest because you have taken a step that is not good.

51.        Till you make it right, you will remain restless. Something is in you that cannot rest, except it is sure that what it is doing is right.

52.        That is why it is when you hear and understand that you can place yourself right. When you hear and you understand, that is when you are going to act rightly. If you hear and you do not understand, will you act rightly? No.

53.        Many today just hear but they do not understand, because it takes God to give a man the understanding, it takes God to give a man the believing heart. If God does not give you the believing heart, the understanding, no matter how you hear you cannot understand.

54.        And as long as you do not understand, you cannot act well. It is the doing of God. God told us very clearly, that there is nothing you and I can do. The whole thing is in the hands of God.

55.        So, if you and I have recognized this great privilege that God has given to us, of finding ourselves worthy before God and He now comes to help us, we should not play with it. Is there anything of more importance in this life? Tell me what is the most important thing in this life that is more important than  this. God that we are talking about.

56.        Anything you want to do today, if He does not give you the life to live, you will not do it. Once you enter mortuary and you are heading to your grave, you  cannot do anything in that condition.

57.         So you must have life first before you can do that thing. And the Life Giver happens to be the person that you want to turn your back to. That will be the greatest foolishness. It will be the greatest foolishness.

58.        Let us look at page 71 verse 12. “How can you say you are born of God, a member of God’s family and you are continuing with your old life, your old habit, your old spirit, your old passions, your old desires having dominion and control over you? What makes him your father? You are a liar”.

59.        That is the truth, because once you know your Father and you know what he desires and the things he wants, your life must change. You cannot have the old desires again. You cannot live that old life of foolishness again; a life of doing things anyhow.

60.        That is why we say experience is the best teacher. This is because when we reflect back and ruminate, we see the foolish things we did. When we look at those foolish things, it is so painful. Why did I act that way? Why did I behave this way?

61.        Because I am now wiser than that time. I look at how foolish I was, ‘What caused me to act in this way? O! God forbid! I will never go back to that foolishness’. You now have an experience of knowing that.

62.        ‘Look at the way I acted because of foolishness, because of ignorance, but God has opened my eyes’. Will you now want to return back to it? You want to remain in that foolishness? That will be stupidity. Why will you go back to those things. That is why God says we ruminate.

63.        Yes we go back, we look at those things, but we do not bring them forward because they are not good. It is an experience of how we failed which caused so many wrong things to happen in our life. But now we recognize ourselves because we have become wiser, we now behave better.

64.        And this is what God is expecting from you and I. I know my Father and I know the life of my Father. I know that my Father does not play with His Word, I will also not play with the Word of my Father.

65.        When I know that if He speaks, He must be watching over that Word, till He brings it to pass. He does not rest till He has made sure that He has brought to pass what He said.

66.        So, He is not One that I will begin to play with His Words. These are the things that must be going on in our minds.

67.        Page 77 verse 27-31. “William Branham said, “Every man must present his token on that day.” Where is your token? They were seen in Antioch, not through their preaching, but their character.”

68.        It was not their preaching, it was their character that the people saw. And then when they saw them, they said, ‘Ah! These people look like Christ O!’ They now called them Christians.

69.        They were acting like Him, behaving like Him. “They said, “Of a truth, these people resembled Christ.” 

70.        Another set was seen arguing with some people over some religious issues. And the learned people they were discussing with were astonished that wisdom could be flowing from unlearned people.” Yes, fishermen.

71.        “They wondered where they got the wisdom. A wise man said, “Are you surprised and astonished? Do you not know they have been with Christ?”

72.        In other words, they have imbibed his nature and his life. And the new life has started controlling them in everything;”

GOD KNOWS HIS CHILDREN

This new life that we have gotten from our God, must control us in everything, to the extent that people will say, ‘How can these people have this kind of wisdom?’ Somebody will then reply, ‘Are you foolish? Don’t you know they have been with Christ?’ Yes!

2.           How did he know? He is among the people who know the truth today; they have gone to the internet, but they cannot be partakers of it. They will tell people the truth, saying, ‘I have read these things O! They are real’.

3.           But they do not see themselves being able to practice it. These are the people that will stand to tell others saying, “Don’t you know they have been with Christ? Christ is on the scene”. They caught the revelation yet they could not partake of it.

4.           But many preachers are deceiving people today. They tell the people that every prophecy concerning the end has come to pass, yet nobody can point the people to The Son of Man.

5.           They say every other prophecy has come to pass, deceiving those who are to be deceived, not the true elect. If you tell me all has been fulfilled, I will ask you, ‘Where is The Son of Man? Can all these things fulfill without the Son of Man being on the scene?’.

6.           For the scripture says, “As it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, the days of Noah, so shall it be in the day The Son of Man is revealed”. So if these things are fulfilled, that goes to show The Son of Man has been revealed. So you must show me The Son of Man.

7.           That is the main point, not telling me that what has happened in the day of Noah and Lot is also happening today. No! Look for Him, for He is the one that will take you to all the truth.

8.           “And the new life has started controlling them in everything; controlling their mode of speech, their mode of eating, checking their movements, checking the thoughts and imaginations of their hearts, checking their dressing and checking their desires, and everything dovetailing to the life of the master. You begin to see moderation.

9.           You begin to see humility. You begin to see meekness. You begin to see restraint. You begin to see transparency. Everything Christ was known for was made visible in them as a sure sign that they belong to Him”.

10.         When you look at this statement, this statement is saying, ‘You begin to see..’ It is a continuous thing. As we continuously act on the truth; He will be helping us out. As we are acting, you will begin to see these things in our lives, like it was seen in their lives, that is, the saints of old.

11.        You begin to see moderation, you begin to see humility, you begin to see meekness, you begin to see restraint from everything that is contrary. You begin to see transparency, everything that is in the life of Christ, because when you talk about Christ, Christ means the anointed one, the Messiah. He is on the scene.

12.        You can look at Him and then look at the believers, and compare if what is inside Him is completely in the life of the believers because He is our Masterpiece.

13.        You cannot impose anybody on Him. God has His own germ of life, God knows His genotype. God knows His own, you cannot impose anybody on him. That is why today you cannot say, “Why is this person different?

14.        This is why translation will spring surprises. You cannot impose anybody on God. God knows who are His own. At every point in time, He knows. He is the one that created you and I. It is just like when you get a good coach or a good producer; when he sees somebody, he knows what is inside of that person. He will make sure he brings out that thing that is in that person. A good coach will say, ‘I have seen a talent in this young man’. And he will not leave him till he has brought him to limelight.

15.        Is that coach the one that put that talent in him? No! But the coach will help in building that talent. But we are talking about a God who is greater than any coach, a God who created us, and He is the one that put that thing in us; furnished us with all that we are today. So, He knows what is inside of you. And the only thing that is going to bring out what is inside of you to full manifestation, is for you to follow what he has asked you to do, and then you will see that thing coming out.

16.         For He already knows what He has put in there. He knew what was inside of my son; Timothy, before the voice said, ‘I have seen something in him’. He is the one that put it in there. Now, that thing has started coming out, and He has told him (Timothy), ‘Just be listening to the message, I know what I have put inside of you, one day you will see it come out fully’.

17.         But when you want to walk contrary to what He said, it is not going to work. This is because even the talented player, follows what the coach is telling him. That is how that talent now comes out. I will give you an example that happened in Lagos with a producer. These Danfo drivers you hear singing songs, they were really Danfo drivers; two of them. People love to enter their bus because they were entertaining the people with that music they are singing.

18.        Once you enter their bus, they start to sing that song. They are two, they interchange. One will be the conductor, one will be driving; when the one driving is tired, he becomes conductor, the other will drive.

19.        So one day, a producer entered their bus and heard them singing this Danfo drivers and then he invited them. This is how he took them, and when they were recording their music, you could see their Danfo bus as they were riding and singing. It is real. They were Danfo drivers.

20.        I am sure you have heard that song, ‘Danfo driver’. Yes! It is a producer, who entered their bus, saw talent and then he went and nurtured them to limelight. They now became greater than when they were driving Danfo.

21.        This is just a type of what God does to us. He placed something in us, that is why He said God knows His own, you cannot impose anybody on God, and nobody can impose himself on God.

22.        At the appointed time, what He has put in you, He will bring it up. All He needs from you is obedience. Follow whatever He tells you to do, you will see that thing coming out for He is the coach.

23.        The coach sees talent in you and then begins to train you. It is just like the person who trained me in my youthful days as a goalkeeper when I was always eyeing the goalkeeper that came from Ghana, named Peter Asari as an Icon, he told me, you are better than him.

24.         I want to use you, for you are younger than him. And then he began to train me and I found myself doing the things I thought I could not do, which he saw in me and told me I was better than Peter Asari.

25.        So these are the things that you must know, that God knows you better than you know yourself. If only you will listen to your Father, then all that He has placed in you will come to full manifestation. This is the truth!

26.        Page 80 verse 35-39. “THIS IS THE TIME FOR US TO IDENTIFY WHO WE ARE. YOU MUST KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU BELONG TO, SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DYING FOR.

27.        AND WHEN YOU BELONG TO THE SUPER FAMILY,WITH YOUR FATHER WHO IS ALIVE WITH YOU, ANY PANIC? No panic.

28.        You belong there, and your father is with you. It is just like that lady that was in the airplane. Had she got any panic? She was not afraid, that is why she could sleep.

29.        “The moment I am holding the steering, I do not care the position My wife is taking. She sleeps in the vehicle. And she does not believe that calamity can befall us on the highway.

30.        No matter how I try to wake her up to follow, she will accept, but few minutes, she will sleep.

31.        When she holds her own steering, she does not sleep. But once I carry her, what it means is that I have provided her with a bed.”

32.        This is because she is sure of the person that is carrying her, so she is not even afraid of any calamity. Just like that little girl in the plane, because she is sure of her father.

33.        “THIS IS HOW A CHILD OF GOD RESTS IN THE HAND OF HIS FATHER WHO IS THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH AND THE FINAL RESTING PLACE.

34.        IN LIFE OR IN DEATH, WHETHER WE LIVE OR WE DIE, WE ARE FOUND IN HIM. I cannot originate from God and then end it up in the devil because…” That is the truth!

35.        I cannot originate from God and end it up in the devil. “..because I do not have the attributes. Even if you present Me, Satan will reject Me because I cannot change My language. I cannot change My nature”. Amen.

36.        Nobody can avoid sin except a seed of God. And what helps him to avoid it is already in him rejecting it.

37.         What helps you is already in you. Who put that thing in you? God. That is why at any point in time, you are either promoting the cause of God or the cause of the devil.

38.         In many ways, we finance the cause of the devil ignorantly, sometimes because of self ego. What is self ego? Take for example, somebody might speak to you, you then try to show that he is not worthy to talk to you by saying, ‘Who is this person talking to me anyhow?’ That is self ego.

39.        Why do you think people answer people back? It is because they want to defend their self ego. They want to show that you are nobody to talk to them. All this our unnecessary anger is just a defense of self ego. We ignorantly allow these things to take charge over us.

40.        But there is meekness in Christ; was Christ not called all sort of names? A deceiver, a liar. Did He answer back anybody? What about the Son of Man in our day? Has He not been called son of perdition? Did you hear Him talk? Did He answer anybody? No!

41.        He said do not try to defend a lie, for time will vindicate all things. Time has now vindicated that this person you are calling the son of perdition is the Almighty Himself. Did He try to fight or defend Himself? No, rather He said, do not defend Me. That is what He told us, do not defend Me.

42.        So let us recognize that it is we, sometimes that finance the devil because of ignorance, defending our self ego.

43.        This our anger is mere foolishness due to self ego. Why should the person talk to me? Why should this? Why should that? Self ego! It is the person’s opinion. Does it change me? Does it change you? No.

44.        The fact that somebody says you are an idiot, does not make you an idiot. The fact that somebody says you are not a child of God, does not make you a child of the devil. You are a child of God. With time everything will tell.

45.        It is the same mouth that said He was a deceiver that turned around to say, “O! Truly this is the Son of God”. It is the same mouth that called Noah a foolish man that turned around to say truly Noah is a man of God.

46.        That is why The Son of Man said “I do not care, every knee must bow, every tongue must confess that The Elohim dwelleth in The Son of Man. Some will confess to their destruction, some will confess to the saving of their souls”.

47.        Let us go to page 110 verse 25-27. “You cannot carry your old life, a devilish life into the family of God entrusted into the hands of THE SON OF MAN.

48.        THIS VINEYARD IS UNDER MY CUSTODY. I AM IN CHARGE OF MY FATHER’S FAMILY AND I KNOW WHOM MY BRETHREN ARE. I KNOW MY OWN.

49.        I know My sheep. My sheep knows Me. I call them by their names and they respond. And I give them eternal life. They will never perish forever. [John 10:27-28].

50.        IF IMMORTALITY IS IN GOD, EVERY TRUE SEED OF GOD POSSESSES IMMORTALITY, FOR HE CAN NEVER WALK CONTRARY TO THE WILL OF HIS FATHER”. Amen.

51.         If immortality is in God, every seed of God possesses it. That is why you hear the voice of God saying, you are sitting down here with your immortal bodies. It is just one second, in a twinkle of an eye, you will see it change.

52.        So we have come to that point whereby we should be very careful. This is why we are saying, do not act thoughtlessly, find out what is the Will of God concerning you, then go ahead and do it. Anything that is contrary, avoid it.

53.         It is not more important than the life we are talking about. The life of God that we are talking about is more important than anything in this life.

54.        Anything! I do not care what that thing is all about. You cannot get the nature of God through miracles, signs and wonders, through laying of hands, it must be by obedience to His word.  You get it by obedience to His Word.

DO NOT PLAY WITH THE

WORD OF GOD

Let us look at page 114 verse 34. “If you do not obey, how can you begin to experience the power that is in the Word?

2.           For whosoever that have received Him, to them He has given the power to become what? Sons and daughters of God. How can you possess the power when you have not even obeyed?”

3.           How can you possess the power. For there is no how you are going to get the nature of God through miracle. There is no miracle there. No matter how many hands are laid on you, you cannot get it. You get it through obedience to the Word of God. Are you getting it? Good.

4.           That is why God said publish it far and wide, that we are living with God. Publish it far and wide, we are living with God. We have our Father, we know our Father, we are living with Him, we are not imagining anything.

5.           People go about looking for God; they will say “O! so, so man of God has appeared here”, you see them rushing there. What is taking them there? They are looking for God.

6.           But you and I are not looking for Him. We have found Him, or rather He found us and revealed Himself unto us. Good!

7.           Page 123 verse 54. “So, the foundation has one thing it is known for. ONLY GOD KNOWS THOSE THAT ARE HIS. And let all that are named by the name of God depart from iniquity.

8.            Let him not be named among the evil ones. Of course, they cannot because there is something that is ingrained in them that is permanent, and that is their eternal security”. Amen.

9.           So He said the foundation has one thing it is known for. What is it? God knows those that are His. That is the foundation, God knows. That is why no man can impose himself on God and you cannot even impose anybody on Almighty God.

10.        God knows His own. That is why we are saying that whatever that God is asking of us at this hour, let us not play with it. The Name of God is the Word of God.

11.        Do not play with the Word of God for that is our security, eternal security. If you play with the Word of God, you destroy your life. For it is the Word of God that protects us.

12.        The kingdom of heaven which is the family of God is a global thing. So the family of God is all over the world, and there is one thing common with all of His children, they are there to protect the name of that family. They do not play with that family.

13.        The Bible said, He giveth His Spirit to those that will obey, not to those that will hear. You cannot receive the Spirit of God by hearing the Word of God alone, but by hearing, believing and obeying. Hearing, believing and obeying.

14.         Page 128 verse 65-67. “Nearly” can never kill a bird. I know the truth. I believe the truth. That is where you have stopped. And I know the Man holding this truth. I know Him to be God or to be sent by God. Is that enough? Good”.

15.        You have stopped at the same level with Satan. Satan knows Him(Christ), that is why you see that anywhere He goes, Satan will tell him “Ah! ah! Why have you come now? What are you still waiting for on the earth, have you not gone?”

16.         If he does not know Him, he will not be telling Him such things. Satan knows Him

17.        “….NO ONE WHO DOES NOT PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS [WHO DOES NOT CONFORM TO GOD’S WILL IN PURPOSE,… I do not care who you are. NO ONE WHO DOES NOT PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS [WHO DOES NOT CONFORM TO GOD’S WILL IN PURPOSE, THOUGHT, AND ACTION] IS OF GOD;…”

18.         Page 129 verse 70. “I am showing you the way; I am showing you the life; I am showing you the Truth so that in the end, I will remain blameless, having served you with honesty of purpose, withholding nothing meant for your salvation from you.

19.         I have never bribed your conscience for any reason at all, but I have stood My grounds in giving you the holistic truth”.

20.         Page 131 verse 74. “Every Abel must expect a Cain as his brother,” Have you seen it? Every Abel must expect this!

21.        By the time the eyes of many will open to know where you have arrived at; the exalted position God has placed you at present, many will not like you again.

22.        I want you to sit down and think about it. Do you think it is everybody that enjoys when God is praising you? Do you think it is everybody that enjoys when God is lifting you up? That is why God is making it very clear for you to know and understand.

23.         Cain and Abel were from the same womb, the same family. When we talk about Cain and Abel, we are not talking of the world out there, we are talking about people in the Faith. Every Abel must expect a Cain as his brother, as his sister.

24.        “Every Abel must expect a Cain as his brother, as his sister, for a righteous fellow is an abomination to the ungodly. The ungodly is equally an abomination to the righteous. They are two ends that can never meet”.

25.        Cain was not happy that his brother was living that life he was living. That was what caused him to kill his brother. So when you are living the rightful life, acting in the way God wants you to  act, the other person is not happy because he wants you to join him in rebelling, he wants you to join him in remaining in the condition he is.

26.        So do not expect Cain and Abel from outside, they are in the Faith. God is letting you know this so that you can come to a point that no matter what anybody says or does, it is not your business.

27.        You are not there to copy anybody, your eyes should be set on The Son of Man. The important thing is commendation from The Son of Man, not how anybody else sees me. The commendation of human beings is useless nonsense as long as God is not commending me.

28.        It is supposed to be Him commending me first, before others will join in saying the same thing He said about me.

29.        So do expect men to commend you, do not expect men to be happy with you, for not everybody will be happy with you for living the life of God.

30.        So do not expect that because you are living the life of God, everybody will be happy with you. No. Do not expect it that way. To you that is living the life of God, know it that those that are happy with you are those that are living the same life of God.

31.        But he that is living the life of the devil will never be happy with you.

32.        Before we read the message on page 136 verse 9-11, let us consider Ephesians 2:19-22, Living Bible. “[19] Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family, citizens of God’s country,”

33.        I want you to see that emphasis. You are now members of God’s very own family. “..citizens of God’s country,” So God has a country? “..and you belong in God’s household..”

34.         That is why you often hear the voice say clearly, we are a nation in a nation. A nation in a nation. So whatever the people of this earthly nation we find ourselves in are doing, we are not supposed to act that way.

35.        You act according to the tradition and custom of your nation. This is what was seen in the book of Esther. That there are people, the Jews; they have their traditions, they have their customs, they do not just act according to the people of the land because they are strangers and pilgrims. They are going home. We are also pilgrims going home.

36.        “[19]Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family, citizens of God’s country, and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.

37.        [20]What a foundation you stand on now: the apostles and the prophets; and the cornerstone of the building is Jesus Christ himself!

38.        [21]We who believe are carefully joined together with Christ as parts of a beautiful, constantly growing temple for God.

39.        [22]And you also are joined with him and with each other by the Spirit and are part of this dwelling place of God. Amen.

40.        We go to page 136 verse 9-11. “Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family,… Good.

41.        “Brethren, pay attention! YOU ARE MEMBERS OF GOD’S OWN VERY FAMILY. THAT IS WHEN YOU ARE CONFORMING TO HIS NATURE,..”

42.        That is when you are doing what? Conforming to his nature. I want you to see the word ‘conforming’, continually doing it till you become like Him.

43.        “Brethren, pay attention! YOU ARE MEMBERS OF GOD’S OWN VERY FAMILY. THAT IS WHEN YOU ARE CONFORMING TO HIS NATURE, WHEN YOU HAVE HIS LIFE, HIS SPIRIT CONTROLLING YOUR DAILY ACTIONS;

44.        WHEN YOU ARE NO LONGER DELIBERATELY, CONSCIOUSLY PRACTICING EVIL [UNBELIEF]. WHEN YOU ARE CONSTANTLY FOUND IN OBEDIENCE TO THE TRUTH..” Constantly found in obedience. Not sometimes, constantly!

45.        “WHEN YOU ARE CONSTANTLY FOUND IN OBEDIENCE TO THE TRUTH [LOYAL], YOUR FAITH IS WHAT WE REFER TO AS ABIDING FAITH [ABIDING CONVICTION] THAT YOU HAVE NO OTHER FAMILY EXCEPT THIS.

46.        AND KNOWING THAT YOUR UMBLICAL CORD IS BURIED IN THAT FAMILY WHICH IS ADVANCE PAYMENT AS A MEMBER OF THAT FAMILY”. That is the truth. You and I have no other family.

47.        In today’s generation, it no more happens but in the time I was born, even when my father was out there in Jos, when they give birth to us, our umbilical cord when it fell off, was put in a match box, wrapped and sent home. Yes! My own was sent home. So they cannot deny me of being a part of that family.

48.        They gave it to the elders who must have buried it under a tree, which our grandfather must have shown that every member of the family’s own should be buried there.

49.        You can hardly see it happening now. But what God is saying is a reality, it happened in our own day.

50.        Let us go to page 140 verse 16-19. “WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, EVERY TRUE SEED OF GOD WELCOMES ME, ACCEPTS ME, RESPECTS ME, BOWS BEFORE ME BECAUSE OF WHO I AM AND THE POSITION I OCCUPY, AND MY WORD RULES OVER ALL, NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE.

51.        YOU CAN NEVER BE SAVED OUTSIDE MY FAMILY”. That is the truth. “NO HUMAN BEING IS SAVED OUSIDE THE FAMILY OF GOD. AND CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED”.

52.        What is mystery? Formally hidden truth. Christ is the former hidden truth of God revealed. “AND CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED. SINCE HE HAS BEEN REVEALED AMONG YOU, NOT BY MERIT, BUT BY PREDESTINATION, HAS HE BEEN REVEALING HIMSELF IN ANOTHER PLACE?

53.        We have not heard Him being revealed in another place. No! “He knows what He is doing. The Deity is here. After travelling about, He comes back, for He has come to stay.

54.         A FATHER CAN NEVER BE A VISITOR TO HIS FAMILY. A SON CAN NEVER BE A VISITOR TO HIS FAMILY. That is why if God is your father, you must constantly think home, and you are a part of what your family is doing,..”

55.        If God is your father, you must constantly think home. Constantly think home. Natural things type the spiritual. We often talk to our children; telling them to constantly think home. That is what we do to God too.

56.        If you cannot think home about your physical family, how can you think of God’s home that you belong to? When you go out and forget your family, that means you have forgotten the family of God. You will be living anyhow, acting anyhow.

57.        But when you are thinking home constantly, everything happening in the home, you know of it. Every agreement we make in the family, you have taken your stand.

58.        “That is why if God is your father, you must constantly think home, and you are a part of what your family is doing, come what may”. That is true. You are a part of what your family is doing.

59.        If you are not constantly at home with them, you will not know what they are doing. “You cannot separate yourself. And you are not doing it for any other person. You are doing it for yourself”.

60.        It is your family, you are doing it for yourself. But if you do not know what is obtainable in the family, you will not know what your family is passing through, you will not even feel for your family.

61.        But when you are there with your family, everything they are passing through, you are passing through it together with them. You are feeling it, you know what they are passing through. Good.

62.        Page 142 verse 21. “Every true seed born in a family has a share in the affairs of the family. In every discussion, he is there”. In every discussion he is there. “In the sharing of inheritance, he is there. He must be given a chance to air his view. Nobody can suppress him”.

63.        Nobody can suppress him. Why? He places the interest of his family above his personal interest. We must place the interest of our family above our personal interest. Where is our family? The family of God; The Son of Man, Apostle Peter Odoemena (Blessed be His Most Holy Name).

YOU BELONG IN GOD’S HOUSE HOLD

The family is more important than our personal interest. Page 143 verse 25. “…AND YOU BELONG IN GODS HOUSEHOLD… Not “BELONG TO”, “BELONG IN”. You belong in God’s household, not belong to. These are different words; “belong in” not “to”.

2.           “If you belong to, you can be put out. You can be sacked, but when you belong in, you are indispensable”. God has given us the meaning of it. You “belong in” not “to” God’s household.

3.           Please let us read Colossians 3:8-9, Living Bible. “[8] but now is the time to cast off and throw away all these rotten garments of anger, hatred, cursing, and dirty language.

4.           [9]Don’t tell lies to each other; it was your old life with all its wickedness that did that sort of thing; now it is dead and gone”. God is telling us about self ego and anger. You want to protect your self ego.

5.            You want to prove you are this, you want to prove you are that. This is not the period for that. This is the time we throw away all those things. They should represent our past lives.

6.           Why should you be angry? Whatever anybody is doing, he cannot do better than that, even within the faith. It is your understanding that makes you to act better. As long as you do not understand; you will not act better.

7.           Remember that God has already given us a scripture in Galatians 6:1. We will read it from the Living Bible. See what He told us in that scripture; You that is spiritual, when your brother falls, you should help him back.

8.           “[1]Dear brothers, if a Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help him back onto the right path, remembering that next time it might be one of you who is in the wrong”.

9.           That is the thing. This is the period we should display the humility, the very meekness, the lowliness, the humbleness in The Son of Man, recognizing that my brother can make a mistake. If I am more spiritual than him, I should help him back, because I could be the one in that condition tomorrow.

10.        This is the period for such actions because we are trying to conform to the life of our Father. Everyday, we are watching ourselves and making sure that we are conforming to the life of our Father.

11.        That nature must be seen in us. For if you watch our Father, once you have made a mistake, you will see Him correct you and continue. If you see Him rebuking you, once He has finished what He is saying, He moves on.

12.        The anger does not continue. It has stopped there except you refuse to repent. That is a righteous anger, aimed at correcting you, to put you in the right footing and then to move on.

13.        The Son of Man, Apostle Peter Odoemena (Blessed be His Most Holy Name), is the very Christ. If I have given Him a permanent dwelling place in my life; He will be dominating my thoughts, my actions, my meditations. His Words will be having the greatest influence in my life.

14.        His decisions will be mine, His thoughts will be mine, His judgement will be mine and everything I do will conform to His character and characteristics, with no difference between Him and myself. Nothing standing between the two of us. This is the determination we must have.

15.        “This is the Christ I have welcomed. In everything there will be no difference”. This is the determination that I must have, you must have.

16.        As a way of closing this sermon, I want to show you something from this message, what God said, as a warning to us. He does not make mere statements, No. Something takes place before He speaks.

17.        Let us go to the message; AN UNBELIEVER IS A BURDEN TO HIMSELF page 35 verse 58-64. “Therefore, as this lockdown God has started continues because this lockdown is a prophecy that has fulfilled which is tied to our departure, we are not praying against it.

18.        AS WE CONTINUE WORSHIPPING GOD STAYING IN OUR HOMES, WE WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE MANY DEPARTING FROM THE TRUTH. MANY FAMILIES! BECAUSE THEY ALL TIMED GOD. THEY FIXED GOD TO A TIME;”

19.        Have you seen it? Many families are departing more and more. This is because they timed God, they tied God to a certain time. “..LIMITING GOD TO A TIME.

20.        WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR ONE TO BE AN UNBELIEVER? IT TAKES A VERY LITTLE THING. ANY LITTLE DISOBEDIENCE, AFTER YOU HAVE OBEYED FOR A LONG TIME INSTANTLY MAKES YOU AN UNBELIEVER”.

21.        After you have obeyed for a long time, that instant disbelieve can change your destiny. Did we not see it before? Just the same way an instant positive statement changed the destiny of that man hanging on the cross.

22.        “ARE WE GETTING THE MESSAGE? What changed the eternal destiny of the man on the cross? Was it not the belief (that instant belief, that instant confession) to the revealed name in his age that attracted his automatic entry into heaven?

23.        He secured a ticket immediately. [42]And he said unto Jesus, Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. [43]And Jesus said unto him, verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise. [Luke 23:42-43 KJV]

24.        So, it does not take one million years for you to change what the problem is. This is because, with the words of the mouth, we can say “I am not an unbeliever; I am a this. And I am a that”.

25.        You have strategies or list of things you can do to become a believer or an unbeliever. No! It takes little things to disobey God. Amen”. It takes disobedience for you to become an unbeliever.

26.        It takes obedience for you to be a child of God. Just these two little things. Obedience and disobedience.

27.        It is the determination that you have that will determine your fate. Have a positive heart and confession to say, ‘I have welcomed Christ into my life, to my home. I will never do anything to send Christ out of my home’.

28.        This is because if I disobey, He will not remain there. He will not. That is the truth.

29.        In closing, I say, let us not play with the Word of God. Let us uphold it and stand firm. Rather than playing with the Word, be growing stronger everyday with every amount of determination to please the Father.

30.        For what is my mission upon the earth? My only mission on this earth is to please God, and that Supreme God is Apostle Peter Odoemena (Blessed be His Most Holy Name).

31.        The same thing should apply to every true elect of God worldwide, to please Him at all times. In [other] words, the same mission I have is the same mission you have.

32.        And that is what we should be determined to do in our lives. To please the Almighty God. On this note I say remain blessed in Him Eternally.
