THE ESSENCE OF

THE WORD OF GOD

Be seated Brethren. You are welcome to the presence of God this evening. We thank God for such a wonderful privilege He has given us today to come to His presence.

This is because this is the duty of man. The duty of every living being on earth is to live and worship God; Trust and obey God. That is the whole duty of man.

[13]All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.  [Ecclesiastes 12:13 AMP]

Judging from the present stage of the Ministry, we can see that God really loves every individual. God is so willing that He does not want any soul to perish.

That is why He is coming down at this stage of the Ministry to show us everything that we need for us to be translated.

This is so that if tomorrow, we are not part of the translation, we will not blame it on God. This is because everything God does, He made us to understand that He does it for a reason.

Behind every action of God, there is an eternal purpose attached to it.

That is one thing I want us to understand this evening. I am not the preacher this evening, but I just want to lay a background so that we can have an understanding of the God we are worshipping.

It is not that we do not know, but the Scripture said that, from to time, we should do what? Call ourselves to order.

We remind ourselves of all those things which we have been taught. That is why God said we should never play with the Great Sermon.

Whatever we are doing that we should always remember the message, The Great Sermon. The Epistles

 So we are not just mindful, but it is for us to know that by reminding ourselves daily. We will be watchful because it is the same Scripture that says that the devil comes with tricks and strategies.

[11]Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. [Ephesians 6:11]

If the devil can announce to me that he is coming to meet me, I will be on guard to wage the war.

That is why he will use means, tricks, strategies, and you and I, if we do not know what those strategies are, to avoid it will be very, very difficult.

One thing is for one to know where his problem is, another thing is to address what that problem is. You will see that people will behave and act in the way that shows that they do not know what their problem is.

That is why the Word of God is like a light that shines in the dark corners of our heart. If you switch on a torch here, the torch is not needed because there is light. But the touch serves you when there is darkness.

So the word of God shines in that dark area. That is why when the message will be going forth, your name will not be mentioned, but the message will be speaking to you personally.

Through the light of the Word of God, your life will be x-rayed. You will be asking, “Is this how I am? Who told Pastor this? Who reported me to Daddy?

This is because that message has done what? Touched you as an individual, while standing before you face to face. You are the person accessing yourself at that point in time.

Then you will start wondering, “How did God happen to capture it? How did he come to know this? And it can be something that has been bothering you. Are you getting me?

Something that has been bothering you for many years, many times, it will be that day you came to fellowship that that problem will be addressed. And you see yourself no longer in that position.

There is a message I am still looking for but I will still get it. Where God said, “Be careful of the sinful unrest in the heart of a man”. The sinful what? Unrest in the heart of a man.

These two wars are going on in every individual and whichever one you supply instrument to is the one that will win. There are no two ways about it.

Inasmuch as we call devil, devil, devil, we are the individuals that will know those things the devil will use to tempt us. In the message, “TEMPTATION [TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH]”, God made us to know that He [God] does not tempt any man.

We are been tempted by what? The desires of our heart. And God told us that it is a rat’s delight that is used to set trap for it.

These are the things. It is the thoughts of the things which are going on in you that you will start desiring, “I need this. I need that.”

Those things you delight your thought in are what the devil will present to you. It is not the devil.

From the desires of your heart, everything you will be meeting are those things that are alluring, along with the desires of your heart.

You will meet or be confronted with those things that are happening in you, to show you that it is the devil that is stirring it up.

And you, being the instrument, the individual can decide to say yes. You can equally decide to say no. Amen.

So this evening Brethren, I just want to remind us of a few Messages as a background so that we can understand, and so that we can have a deeper understanding of what the Minister will tell us.

It is our prayer that God should fill every individual He has anointed to speak His words to us with His spirit.

This is because, whether human beings like it or not, God must always use a man to speak to man, and if God begins to use frog or other animals to speak to you, it will be very fearful.

You might not believe it to be true. That is why He must anoint somebody. So this evening as we are sitting down, I want you to open your heart.

The same way we are opening our ears to listen, let us open our hearts to understand. It might be the Message you know. It might be the one you do not know.

There is every need that we pay attention to whatever we are going to hear this evening. There might be people that are not taking God seriously. I do not want it to be mentioned among us.

We said it in our Sunday Fellowship that this should be the standard. This Fellowship should be what? A standard. This is because, physically speaking, there is no other Fellowship where God has His children apart from this gathering.

So it is believed that everything that God has given to us has entered into our heart. We are not preaching because He said it, but we are now preaching because we have experienced and we have now believed.

Hence, we can now say that we are sustained by our experience. When you are preaching to somebody, you are not preaching based on what you think or what you do not understand.

We said it on Sunday. When you talk about immortality, we know what it is. God has shown us everything so that we are without excuse.

So, follow me Brethren to this Message, “Find out what will hinder you from eternal life and avoid it volume 3” By Evangelist Ben Okezue. I am not reading the whole Message, but I am reading some few chapters.

Page 69: If the Word of God does not reform, refine, renew, revive, it is a sure sign that the person has no part in God. Amen.

Let us note. If the Word of God does not reform, does not refine, does not renew, does not revive, the person has no part in God.

So, if the entrance of these Messages, the Word of God, which we hear every day, even the ones we listen through our phones, our laptops, do not refine you, God said, you have no part in Him.

To a true seed of God, the Word of God makes you happy. Once the Message is on, joy has been built up in you. The readiness to put that Message into action is already in you.

But to one that is not a true seed of God, it will be the opposite. The Word of God can never stir up a pure mind in him.

When God said, “Come that I may wash you with water which is the Word”, you think he does not know what he is saying. Nothing cleanses an individual more than the Word of God.

Nothing does what? …cleanses an individual more than the Word of God.

It is the Word of God that makes us who we are. It is the Word of God that restrain us, no matter the environment we have find ourselves, to act contrary to what we believe.

This is because, it is through the Word of God that we believe and know that God seeth every one of us as we do whatever we are doing.

The same way He is following you [Bro. Lucky], He is following Brother Ugo. He is following me (Pastor Wisdom), and He is following Apostle Chukwudi at the same time. So God does not say, “I am following this household. Let me wait.” No! He monitors every soul at the same time.

In a Message we heard this week, God said that we look at God with two eyes, but God looks at you with four eyes.

When you are walking across God, you only saw His face and pass, but His back is also seeing you. This is to show you there is nothing you think you are doing to God now which you think you can escape.

God said, “Whatever work a man has done, He must bring it to the judgment throne. Once two seeds of God are gathered, a book of record is opened, and that Allah takes record of everything we do.

The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. [THE HOLY QURAN: Surah 3:19 Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation]

So, if right now the Word of God has become casual to us, and Fellowship has become nominal, it does not produce any joy. “Let me do it since they said we should do it. I am reading what he said we should read.”

You do not go back to know truly that this Message is for you. When a message is going forth, try to put yourself in the picture.

That is what God has been telling preachers. God does not need the best preachers, but He needs the best believers.

Believers are those that are putting the Messages into action, making sure that whatever you are preaching; whatever you are sharing with somebody, it is dovetailing with the life you are living, for the greatest Message that has the greatest impact remains our life.

That is why most of these Brethren find it difficult to convince their in-laws, relatives or friends to subscribe to the Faith because that which they are preaching is far away from that which they are manifesting.

So are you telling the person to follow your word and not your action? Can you see where the problem is?

You believe God is a man. It is believed that he that has had encounter with God; there is a physical sign in you that shows you have had an encounter with God. It is called spiritual sign.

Physically speaking, there should be things in you that must have changed because you have met physically with the Word of God.

If Brother Lucky travels to see the president, while coming back, we will be expecting to see a change in his life. People might be thinking that Bro Lucky came back with millions not knowing that the president just gave him a handshake, took picture and came back.

It will be hard to believe him because we have that impression that there is no way he can go there and come back empty-handed.

This is the expectation people will be having, although he might not give you anything. Yet, everybody will be of the opinion that he came back with something.

So physically speaking, there is something that is expected from he that has had that physical encounter with God. If that thing is not seen physically, people will not believe whatever you are saying.

 What am I saying? If Brother Lucky comes back and says that they only shook hands and took pictures, we will be saying, “Eat alone now. You have decided to eat alone.”

No matter how he tries to explain it, our minds will be filled with the impression we have. This is the same way our lives dovetail to those that we are preaching to. Are you getting the Message?

So it is expected that you came back with something. If for example, you came back; Even if the president did not give you anything, it is expected that you traveled to Abuja, at least you will come back with kilishi [spiced and sundried beef] which signifies that you went there.

Though people may be thinking that it is part of what you brought from the presidency, not knowing that is was from your own private money. So there must be something.

A song writer said, “Things are different now. Things I hated before, I have started loving. While things I loved before, I have started hating.”

Those things I cherished before, thinking there was life in it; those ways, those places I have been going to, there will be an instant turnaround. I say what? An instant turnaround.

PLACE GOD FIRST

There was a Message God said, “If you know that you are on the wrong way, the broad way, for the way to hellfire is very broad, you can apply an instant break and do what? Summersault to the good way. That it is better to die on the pathway to heaven than to die on that broad way to hellfire.”

It is better you summersault, wound yourself and enter into God’s own way than to drive safely and drive yourself into hell.

This is because these are the two things that are facing us as individuals. “This thing that I am doing today, is it taking me to hell or heaven? By my actions; by my way of speech; by my way of meeting people, what is my life portraying to the people that I am?”

I that said that I believe that God is a man and have had an encounter with God and I am preaching it, is my life really showing that I have had an encounter with God? Amen.

You are revived by the Word of God. If the Word of God does not revive an individual, he is not a part of God.

However, when you say you believe the truth and walk contrary to the truth, you have committed iniquity, for you have now decided to harden your heart against that truth which you know, and you expect God to take you anyhow.

Brethren, are we getting the Message? This is because you have thwarted it. You see him saying that God should understand.

He has now placed his own base gain and his own self-interest first. What will he gain? By that time, God is now number two. Are we getting the Message?

So this is what the Word of God is trying to do. To reorder our priorities in life. To reorder our ambitions and our desires.

LET YOUR DESIRE ALIGN WITH CHRIST. In that Message God sent to us, God said that we should ask ourselves this question, “If God sees me in this place, will He be happy? If God should see me having this discussion, will He be happy?

Always place the interest of God above your own personal interest.

In management, there is something they taught us, which are the prerequisites for an organization to work smoothly. In the fourteen principles of management, that is the last.

It said that there should not be any subordination of organizational interest to personal interest.

Excuses are not entertained simply because you are sick and you are the front desk personnel in that organization.

At the end of the day’s work, people signs out before they go. Hence, you are expected to be last person to leave.

Just because you are sick and there is nobody to replace you, then based on that, you now beg that the company should close before time. Is it done?

Another scenario is this: Maybe you travelled for a burial and it happened that there is a promotion exam slated for the same day of the burial.

There is no way the organization can postponed the examination because of your father’s burial. Rather, they will tell you to wait for next year or next two years when the next set will write their own.

So there is no way you can put your own interest above the general interest of that organization. The same way it is between us and God.

You cannot subordinate; I cannot subordinate the interest of the Almighty God to my own personal interest since I claim to be His servant.

This is because in the Holy Qur’an, it said that He has made a the pathway of hell to all mankind except your chosen slaves.

So for you to be saved in this age, you must agree that you are a slave of God and you must remain servant to God.

If I claim that I am a servant of God or I am a child of God, how can I now place my own personal interest first and then place God’s interest second?

You know, when we talk about these things, they sound very light until you get a business and then calculate your profit. You will not be seeing any other thing other than that your money.

I am telling you the truth. You will notice that if time is not taking, your mind will be focused on that business and no longer God.

When the Message is going on, we see it as a very light thing, but pray very well that when it comes to you, that you will not fall into that temptation.

Because of reasons best known to you, you have weighed it from your own of view which approved of that business very well, but not because of what God said.

Do you know one thing about God? If God wants to save you, He will present a situation to you. Analyze it yourself. Weigh it according to what God has said and see whether it is what you are supposed to do? He will now put the ball in your court.

So while going home, even if somebody asks you, “Why did you not do that? If your answer becomes “God said that I should not do it”, it then means you are having something against that thing God said.

This is because, if you believe with your heart that God said I should not go to Abuja, even if somebody meets you to ask why you did not go, your reply will be, “From the look of things, why will I spend my thirty thousand naira just for nothing”, even when God said I should not go.

You show the person that from your heart, you have accepted that message God gave you.

But while you are having problem with it, you will be giving report to everybody, “Daddy said I should not go. That is why I did not go.”

This thing I am saying happens among Ministers and among Brothers. There is nobody that has escaped from having problems and finding fault with God because you are still seeing Him from that human perspective.

If I am seeing him from that perspective that He is the Almighty, I do not think there is anything I need to reason with you. True or false?

We watch Nigerian movies and see people who go to native doctors for one concoction or the other. Once the person is given instruction[s] on how to use it, he makes sure that he will do that thing according to instruction[s].

Any single disobedience to that thing the soothsayer or herbalist said, he will end it having serious problem. And no matter the gift he will offer to appease the gods and whatever, he must have problem.

But because of the fact that after hardening your heart, you still kneel down and pray to God, and God will overlook, giving the person more grounds.

The person will see it as more grounds to continue to do what? Iniquity. Adding more iniquity upon iniquity.

However, when you say you believe and you walk contrary to the truth, you have committed iniquity and you have now decided to harden your heart against the truth and you will expect God to take you anyhow for you to come and become a headache to Him again?

The same headache God is trying to get rid of is what you think you will take there. If God takes you anyhow, then number one person that will be there will be Lucifer.

Have you seen it? The person will harden his heart to do it. After all, God understands. This is what you have planned for yourself.

This is your own perspective. You have viewed it by your own standard and this is what you think God will do. Then, if God goes contrary to that thing which you now expect, the person will start having problem with God.

This was the point where God said, “If you harden your heart to go against the Word of God, also do what? Harden your heart to receive the just recompense.”

You will receive the judgment. You cannot harden your heart and later you kneel down, “Please Daddy, forgive me. I have been crying.” Forgive what? “Daddy, please I never knew.” Brethren, it cannot save us. Amen.

Many have taken unmerited favour which is the grace of God to be that whether they do evil or good, that grace is sufficient for them.

Can we see it now? That person that hardens his or her heart to do that which he wants to do, just because of his own interest, in his mind, he says, “Grace is enough for us.”

This is because, in his mind, he will tell himself that if I should obey all the Messages, God will not save because by that time, I will be saying that I am the most righteous person. It then means I should not obey.

In everything God does, there is a balance. It is a fact that there is no way you can stand before God and say you have obeyed the whole Messages [Every instruction, every message] He has given to you.

This is because when He sees that you are doing very well, you are obeying, He will just put a little stumbling block to show you that you are still a human being who is prone to mistake.

It is upon that mistake that even the Scriptures say that there is no righteous man that sinneth not.

For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. [Ecclesiastes 7:20 KJV]

He will do it to show you that you are still a human being, but does that mean that you should not obey God again? Can you see the two ways God brings His Word to pass?

That is why, whenever we are receiving the Word of God, we pray for deeper understanding to know what God needs from us.

When do you understand my grace being sufficient? Grace being sufficient means, [that] the Word of God that is giving to you in your day is sufficient to you, if you believe that, that is grace for you.

Maybe you do not know that it is grace that we are blessed with this Apostolic Ministry.

If you continue to rebel; if you continue to disobey, God can do everything, but He can never save you in disobedience to His Word.

God can do what? God can do everything, but he can never save us in disobedience.

Rather, we will start reaping the fruits of our disobedience now that we are still alive. Disobey the Word of God, God said, you must land yourself in a place where you must regret yourself.

Remember, the judgement of God is still going on Brethren. The judgment of God in the Bride is still on. Do not say it has stopped because you are not hearing anything. Many things are happening in this Faith.

In many families, many stories are heard. No matter how they try to cover it, God must expose it. And God said, “Expect it from now till August 31st, 2020. As many that will remain, we will now know how many we are that are going to Paradise.”

This is because people are claiming, “I am a member of this Faith. I am a member.”

There is this prayer I do not fail to make to God, “God, do not use me to fulfil any bad side of the Scripture.”

And this is because, for every Word of God; for every prophecy, God must raise up an individual, a family, a person that must fulfil that prophecy. Whether good or bad, God must raise an individual.

So, do not put yourself in a place that will make God to use you to fulfil that dangerous prophecy. Let me not put myself in such a place or condition.

That is why we should always make that prayer to God, “May He never allow sin, anything that will be a bearer which will make us to walk away from the boundaries of our Faith where the love cannot reach you again.” Otherwise, the person is completely lost.

Anything that will make you to sin to the point that God cannot remember anything at all He can hold on to save you, that will be your end.

This is because you can know everything, but you can never know what will happen to you in a day. Let the case of Deacon Austin be an example to us.

If God had wanted him to die, there was nothing else waiting for him apart from death, but God wanted to make a name of Himself and still prove to every soul that He is the Almighty.

And I believe that the only person to understand that move is the individual that it happened to which is Brother Austin. He will be in a better position to understand why God gave him this second chance.

But when this second chance is misused, do you think God can give another time again?

That is why it is said, “When you are hearing the Word of God, harden not your heart.

Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [Hebrews 3:7 – 8 KJV]

The correction might come in a very hurtful manner. It might come in an embarrassing way, but my Brother, do not harden your heart. Give room where there can be a little understanding.

Have you ever asked yourself why you do not show any understanding whenever you are in sharp misunderstanding with somebody?

At that point you are threatening to fight, there is no understanding. But watch! Let there be an intercessor who will come and drag you out of that spot, talking to you, a scale will fall off from your eyes. Before you know it, you will now be the one pleading with the other person.

So, it takes one who is on the right way to bring you back when you have gone astray.

So, when the Word of God goes forth, we know our different ways. We know those things which we have done.

Then if God uses a vessel to tell us that, God said, “Do not be angry. Show understanding. For whosoever God loves, He gives His correction.”

There are many that are wallowing, doing whatever they are doing, but God did not talk to them. Then, why will it be you and I?

Know that every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God can never come back to Him void.

[11]so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. [Isaiah 55:11 KJV]

Do not ever place yourself in a position where God will ask you why. We heard it on Sunday. You cannot be on the right path and God will ask you, “Why.” Is it not true? For there to be ‘why’, something has gone wrong along the way.

So, let us try to make sure that we align ourselves and partner ourselves with God. God said, “If you know that desire God has for you, partner your desire with His desire so that He can make you what He wants you to be.”

This is because it is not in our hands to achieve it. And it is not in our self-striving. I know we are young men. It has never been easy.

The only thing the devil has placed in this generation to tempt the heart of men remains money and women. God said, if we can break it and move upward, then victory is sure for us.

So, on this note, I am inviting Apostle Chukwudi to the pulpit. Let us give him the understanding. Let us open our heart and open our soul to accept any Message we are hearing because tomorrow may not be guaranteed.

God said, “Live every day as your last day on earth. It will help you to watch and guard your back.”

Ask yourself; That thing which you want to do, what if after doing it, while coming back you had accident, what will be your end? What will be my story?

What if something happens and a keke (Tricycle) hits you and you die on the spot? What will be your story? Remain blessed Brethren.

GOD CAN NEVER ANSWER THE PRAYER OF A DISOBEDIENT FELLOW FOR HIS PRAYER IS AN ABOMINATION BEFORE GOD. IS IT NOT SCRIPTURAL? THE EARS OF THE LORD ARE ATTENTIVE TO THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS. BUT HE HARDENS HIS EAR AGAINST THE REQUEST OF THE UNGODLY. WE BETTER TAKE NOTE OF THESE THINGS. PRAYER IS NOT THE KEY. YOU MUST BE RIGHT WITH GOD BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR PRAYER. IF YOU ARE NOT RIGHT WITH YOUR PARENTS, DO YOU GO AHEAD AND MAKE REQUEST?

THE GOD WE ARE WORSHIPPING

Brethren, you are blessed. I thank God for this wonderful opportunity that is given to us to gather and hear from Him.

You know, we have already sang songs of praise. Pastor has giving us some little word of exaltation. What we are hearing is truth, because if success is achieved, there is no excuse.

You cannot succeed and start giving excuses. It is only when you fail that you start saying that, ‘I did this one, I did that one.’ But when you succeed, you will stand bold to declare, ‘See what I did. See what I did.’

Normally when we were at home, whenever the Son of Man wants to exhort us, He tells us that teaching makes us strong. You will find out that.

Let me say you want to worship God, and you find yourself in a situation where you sing and just pray, it is not that it is not okay.

But when you sit down, you sing songs and then you hear the Word of God and you pray, after that little moment, you will see how revived you will be. Why? Because teachings make us strong. Amen.

When you hear the word of God just like the Pastor said, we should do what? Harden not our heart.

What I have for us is a very little teaching and a short exhortation that will help us, and which will put us in the right spirit, for God told us that the essence of His Word is to cleanse us, thereby presenting us as pure individual. Presenting us as Christ’s individuals.

When God was talking, He was saying that if you tell Him that it is very, very impossible for youths to worship God in this present generation, He will tell you to come and see some youths that are still alive and are still controlled by the Word of God.

So you see, there is blessing in obedience. So if I am giving any title to my Message, it is accountability. I will want us to understand and see from another dimension the God we are having dealings with.

When we heard the Message on Sunday, our Brother had to tell us that, the first one we heard was like God in the judgement seat. The second was God as a mercy seat. He still continued to make us to understand that God is one individual.

The Son of Man is one individual born as twins. He is the same person that will serve as the judge. And He will be the same person that will still tell you, “Go, for your sins that are many are forgiven.”

So, it is dependent on the angle or the dimension you have tilted to.

In one of the Messages we were considering, “Are you divinely connected to God”, you will see that it is one thing to be connected and another thing to be divinely connected.

Some people are monetarily connected. Some people are physically connected. Some people are materially connected, while some are carnally connected. It depends on what you want.

If I am coming because He is God, everything I am doing will be the divine aspect. But if you see Him and all you do is to complain, “Daddy see! This thing is this and that.” And He tells you to go and do that one. You will now see Him as your port of call. For any issue, you call Him.

If He sees that this is the reason you are following Him, He will continue relating with you in that manner, for the fountain can never get dry.

If you want to be seeing fault, He will show you millions. If you want healing, He will give you healings. A lot of people have come to this Faith, received healings and went their way. That is the reason for which they came.

That is why God told us that you should not be looking at your Brother. You should not be looking at any person, “Oh this minister, he is the one obeying the message. The Son of Man likes calling this minister.”

No! Do not do that thing. That is the more reason we appreciate God for closing the general assembly. You will see that some people will be attaching useless, useless things towards Brethren through what they manifest. I call it a show-off.

You see some people, if they want to do something, they will do it openly so that everybody will give glory to them, “It is this Brother that did this. It is this Sister that did this.”

So, God has created His own way to block that angle the person uses to deceive the heart of the children of God.

This is because one thing there is that in this pathway, there must be distraction whether you like it or not. Something must come out to distract you depending on the kind of individual you have carved yourself to be.

It is that Word of God, for God told us that His Word is antivirus that formats any kind of virus. If you think that your virus is as high as the mountain, the entrance of God’s Word; the acceptance of God’s Word can flush out that virus.

The Word of God can change a sinner and turn that sinner to be a believer and a saint. The Word of God turned Saul who later became Paul in the Bible.

The Word of God turned him, someone who persecuted the saints, someone who persecuted the worshipping of God, for Saul had the zeal of God, but without knowledge.

For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. [Romans 10:2 KJV]

But immediately the WORD of God came to him, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?” there became a change.

[3]And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: [4]and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [5]And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. [6]And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. [7]And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. [8]And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. [Acts 9:3 – 9 KJV]

Why? Because at that point in time, he has accepted that message.

But when you keep on battling and start that Word of God; when the Word of God comes to you, you start finding fault to know whether God said it well or not, you start behaving like Balaam you will continue misbehaving until you see yourself arguing over something that is very, very mild.

You even see yourself arguing over something which your mistake caused, it. Why? Because it is the spirit you have giving yourself into.

I will be using Scriptures to talk to us so that we will understand very well what God wants from us, and to understand the type of God we are worshipping.

Remember, the same person that dealt with Noah; the same person that dealt with Abraham and Moses is the same human being we are dealing with.

These denominations do not understand what we mean by Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. They do not know that we are still with the same person.

THE SON OF MAN is still that same person that was there in that burning bush. He was that burning bush. He is that same person till now.

If you have not had that revelation, you will keep on making mistake. He is that same person in the days of Daniel that wrote something on the wall and nobody saw Him. And it has happened in the Bridal Faith.

That is why it is the angle you tilt yourself to. Every prophecy meant for that side you have tilted yourself to is the prophecy you will keep on fulfilling.

This is because some people will see it and still doubt, while other people will see it and still believe. That God is still the same God here and also in every family that say that they are worshipping THE SON OF MAN, the true and living God.

He is there taking record. He is there seeing how everything is being done, and how the Fellowship is being organized.

You might see someone and the person might say, “Yes, we were in Fellowship for five hours. We stayed for six hours”, but God is there taking record”.

Jeremiah chapter 9 from verse 23-25. Living Bible. [23]The Lord says: Let not the wise man bask in his wisdom, nor the mighty man in his might, nor the rich man in his riches.

[24]Let them boast in this alone: That they truly know me, and understand that I am the Lord of justice and of righteousness whose love is steadfast; and that I love to be this way.

Can we understand it? That He is a God of what? Righteousness. Remember I told us that I want us to understand who we are having dealings with.

Isaiah 45:22 told us that, “I am God, come to Me for I give what? Eternal life.” As we heard that Scripture, did you believe? When you heard, did you believe that He is the person that will give you eternal life?

Remember He is a man that is born twins. He is born unto righteousness. He is God of righteousness. So, He is born into righteousness. Whichever way you see Him, He is a righteous man. Is that not true?

Anything you see Him doing, that thing is righteous. That is why He said that any place He steps into automatically becomes holy. It is a holy ground.

[14]And the angel came to me and greeted me with his voice, and said to me ‘This is THE SON OF MAN who is born to righteousness, and righteousness abides over him, and the righteousness of the Head of Days forsakes him not.’ [ETHIPOIC BOOK OF ENOCH 71:14]

When He met Moses, He told Moses, remove your sandals for the ground you are standing is what? A holy ground.

[2]And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. [3]And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. [4]And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. [5]And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet; for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. [Exodus 3:2 – 5 KJV]

When Joshua saw Him, because He was dressed as a military commander. He (Joshua) asked Him, “Who are you? Are you with us or against us?

And He said, “I am the Commander in Chief of the Hosts of the LORD’s army. Someone who is the commander in chief, is He not the person? He is the person.

That is why He gave him (Joshua) the command, “Remove your sandal for this land where you are standing on is holy.”

[13]And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? [14]And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?  [15]And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. [Joshua 5:13 – 15 KJV]

Any ground He steps His feet unto, whether it is a grave yard or a herbalist’s home; anything you like, call it. Once He steps His feet there, it becomes holy. He takes the cola nut from the native doctor, it becomes holy.

At that point in time, people that believe Him will see Him and understand what He is doing. They will see Him manifesting Himself and defending who He is. But someone, a Pharisee, a Sadducee will misunderstand it to be where He got his power from.

 [1]A prophet that walked around naked in his own dispensation, the prophet was God. In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it; [2]at the same time spake the Lord by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. [Isaiah 20:1 – 2 KJV]

So, first of all, you must know who made that comment that you should come to Me for eternal life. If you like, see Him as a mad man.

And it is that same God that we are still having dealings with. So do not put yourself where you will begin to fault the action of God because the ways of God are completely far away from the ways of man.

[8]For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. [9]For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. [Isaiah 55:8 – 9 KJV]

The way you are seeing Him is not the way God is seeing you. God have told us from that Scripture that He is the God of love, and that His love is steadfast, for He said, “Let the mighty man not boast in his might.”

You that is intelligent, do not boast in your intelligence. If you are wealthy, do not boast in your riches, but you should truly know and understand that I am the Lord of justice. That justice is to some people’s favour. Yes!

God uses seconds to take account, for He is a God of justice. He said that He hates unrighteousness.

So, you should not see God only from that point that He is your Mercy Seat but at the same time, see Him as your Judgment Seat, depending on the part He has decided to work.

That part you have decided to work, will now show your eternal destiny. If you are walking straight to the Judgment Seat, it is that path you are walking on that will lead you straight to that Judgement Seat.

If your final destination is the Mercy Seat, it is the path you are walking on now that will determine it. When you hear the Word of God, harden not your heart.

…I am making it impossible for the hardest theologian on earth to seduce on out of My hand. I say I am making it impossible. You see, that is why, when they accuse you that you are being charmed, I say yes! I am charming you by the Word and that should be the right Word – “Charm.” You are fully addicted. I have made you drunk with the Word of God. So, there is no way somebody will get you out of My hand. He must flush you, and it is not easy to flush you. I say it is not easy. I AM THE GREATEST.

WE ARE THE TARGET OF THE DEVIL

Isaiah 61:8. Living bible. “For I the Lord love justice. I hate robbery and wrong. I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them.”

Brethren did we get this verse? It said that He will faithfully reward His people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them. Those that are faithful.

Remember, I told us that He keeps record. So He knows those that are truly His. He knows those that are truly sons and daughters. When he is saying Elect, Elect, He knows those He is talking to.

 At a glance He knows those that are His and those that are not His. And with those that are His, He said, “I will make an eternal covenant with them. That covenant will be there as far as they continue doing that thing that brought about that covenant.”

God can tell you that you are part of the people that I am sent in this generation. But now, listen. If you derail or sidetrack, He will not be obligated to keep His part of that Covenant.

Just like I came back now, it does not mean I will say, “Yes! I am now among those that are saved”, and then, tomorrow, I will become an armed robber, or I become a kidnapper.

If I start doing anything tomorrow saying, “Yes, I have that covenant”, you have done what? You have broken that covenant.

You know what a covenant is. If both of us agreed that we are not going to marry till we are fifty years of age. Once you marry at forty-nine years, you have broken the covenant. It is not for you again.

Do you understand where I am coming from? The default is not from me. You are the one breaking the covenant.

So, anything that you are doing, whether you see it as good or bad, He will pay you back for breaking that covenant.

So, you can see that young prophet from God who forgot who he was and started telling people, “Yes, God told me not to eat anything from this place. God told me not to do this and that.”

Now the devil heard the secret of his survival in Christ and now lured him, “Forget about that. You have done the work of God. Please, take this and take that. He blindly followed.” And he broke that covenant.

Now it was that same prophet who the spirit of God has departed that told him, “You are very foolish. Now, leave! As you are leaving, a lion shall devour you.” And what happened, the lion devoid the man.

Who made the prophecy? It was the old prophet that the spirit of God had already left. Still God had to go and invoke that prophecy to come to pass.

He, first of all, removed the immunity and removed every protection from the prophet. God equally removed everything that made the young prophet a man of God.

He became naked. He became powerless, making that prophecy from a man who the spirit of God had left to come to pass.

[9]for so was it charged me by the word of the Lord, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. …… [11]Now there dwelt an old prophet in Beth-el; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Beth-el: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. ……. [18]He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. [19]So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water. [20]And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came unto the prophet that brought him back: [21]and he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee, [22]but camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcass shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. [1 Kings 13: KJV]

So, when you leave that boundary of God’s grace, of God’s mercy and of his love, you become naked. Even the word of a small boy can come to pass wherever you are because you are now poor.

REMEMBER, AS WE ARE TRUE MINISTERS OF GOD; AS WE ARE TRUE CHRIST REPRESENTATIVE AND HIS SERVANTS, WE HAVE SOMETHING GOING ABOUT US, PROTECTING US, SHIELDING US AND GUIDING US WHEREVER WE GO, HELPING US NOT TO SIDETRACK.

NOW, WE ARE THE TARGET OF THE DEVIL AND HIS AGENTS. AND AS WE ARE THE TARGET OF DEVIL AND HIS AGENTS, GOD IS THERE AS OUR HUGE MAN SUPPORT, SUPPORTING US AS OUR LORD, WAGING THE WAR. NOW THIS WAR, SOME YOU KNOW, AND SOME YOU DO NOT KNOW.

NOW, IN THE PROCESS OF FIGHTING THIS BATTLE, THE DEVIL WITHDRAWS TO MAKE PLANS TO COME BACK.

IN THAT PROCESS YOU VIA OFF THE TRACK, YOU BREAK THAT COVENANT. GOD WILL DO WHAT, REMOVE THAT IMMUNITY, REMOVE THAT PROTECTION. AND ONE STRIKE FROM THE DEVIL, YOU WILL FALL.

AND REMEMBER IT IS THE HEIGHT YOU ARE FALLING FROM THAT DETERMINES THE DAMAGE YOU ARE GOING TO SUSTAIN.

SO, IMAGINE THE HEIGHT AND THE LEVEL WE HAVE ACHIEVED. NOW, IF SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN GALLANTLY FIGHTING THIS FIGHT WILL SIDETRACK, CAN ANYTHING BE PICKED FROM THAT PERSON? THAT IS WHY YOU SEE THESE MINISTERS FALLING.

AT TIMES YOU SEE THEM MAKING EFFORTS, BUT NO WAY. IF YOU WATCH, ANYWHERE THERE IS STAMPEDE, EVEN IF YOUR BEST FRIEND FALLS ON THE GROUND, YOU CAN NEVER NOTICE HIM. YOU WILL BE MINDFUL OF YOURSELF.

THERE IS STAMPEDE AT THE GATE OF PARADISE NOW BECAUSE OF UNBELIEVERS.

KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT DO NOT WANT TO ENTER, AND THEY DO NOT WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO ENTER. And in that clustering at the gate, God is now making selection.

SO IT IS ONLY THROUGH VIOLENCE THAT ONE CAN ENTER. ONCE YOU RELAX, TAKING THINGS GRADUALLY, “IT IS A GRADUAL PROCESS”, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CROWN.

THAT GROUND YOU ARE STANDING ON AUTOMATICALLY TURNS TO A SINKING SAND. ONE LITTLE TRIAL, YOU WILL FALL.

And God is the God that is keeping record. He will write it down for you. Knowing that there is a day you are going to stand before Him accounting for all your actions, whether good or bad.

Good News Bible. Jeremiah 9:23: The Lord says, “The wise should not boast in their wisdom, nor the strong of their strength nor the rich of their wealth. If any want to boast, they should boast that they know and understand Me…

That they should boast that they what? They know and understand Me. That is what should be your boast.

Your boast is not be, “The Son of Man is calling me because I know how to repair this thing. That THE SON OF MAN is using me to repair his car, and to repair his gen. It is because I join him to many places. It is because I accompany while we are traveling.”

Do not boast on that. But you should boast that you know this Man. This is because, an Igbo adage says that whoever that is eating with the spirit uses a long spoon.

Hence, if anything should happen, you can be able to get your crown. At that point where you pride yourself about, “I have arrived”, that is when you will make the highest shipwreck.

You now forget that you are enjoying a privilege. You will now forget that there were many, but He picked you.

Like when He was giving example with those Brethren we are living with, He said that He saw many youths and decided it will be two of you [Pastor Chika and Bro Promise].

When he requested for a gate man, many people applied. You did not subscribe, but I chose you [Bro Elias]. You [Bro Chiemelie], your brother messed up and I ordered to take him back and bring his younger brother.

So, on a normal viewpoint, if God had not explained it to them like that, they might see it that we need a helping hands and I am coming to help them, not knowing that God called them to help them.

God saw everybody in Enugu and He said, “When you come back, have your own Fellowship. Do not go to any family. Let only brother Lucky and Brother Ugo join you.”

Are they the only youth in Enugu? No! Are they the only youth in the Bride? No! “Only this two should join you.”

When you now lose sight of that privilege He gives you, the devil will capitalize on it. This is because the devil is not happy.

And if you find out that He is not happy, you should not give him one breathing space because once you sidetrack, maybe you start to reason, because the present stage now calls for strict followership.

If God is going this side, follow Him immediately. Once He raises His leg, you step in your feet there, waiting for the next move, for once you make mistake to delay, God has left you.

And once you stop, another person overtakes you immediately. By the time you will lift your head, you now notice how far you are. God might be saying “Shout” and you will be hearing “Stout”. That is what happens.

Check! In a family where the man is the head of the family has not connected, what is the hope of the children? It is on that backdrop that we are not surprised that God started doing this selection as a Family.

How can God confirm a family where the man there does not have control over that family?

How can God confirm that family? It is not possible because the family will look like the head.

Like we here now, it is what we want from this Fellowship that we will make this Fellowship to be.

If we want it to be a carnal fellowship, whenever we come to Fellowship within two minutes we are done.

And the next thing we will do is to bring out foods and drinks for merriment. And this is the way it is in so many families now, because they want it to be that way.

Isaiah 61:8. Amplified. “For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong with violence or a burnt offering. And I will faithfully give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with them.”

There is a Message I will exhort us with, and the title is “STEWARDSHIP”. This is because now you are doing something. It is not like you are doing it for me, but you are doing it unto God where your reward comes from.

You are not doing it to please me. You are not doing it so that I will see you as the good man of the house. Neither are you doing it so that I will see you as a righteous man. Rather, you are doing it, knowing that God is seeing you.

God is taking account. I am accountable to God because He knows my record. If I make a video recording of when you are stealing, can you come and deny it when I ask you?

You cannot because I am now with the record. You are the actor, but I am with the record.

So, you are now accountable to me because I am the one that will call you to make enquiries. Will you come before me to start lying? No!

Now, seeing that God is taking record, and we are accountable to Him, what manner of people should we be? We should live as individuals that will be accountable unto God.

Whatever you are doing, whether it is your family altar or the way you worship God, you are not doing it unto yourself. You are not doing it onto Pastor Wisdom.

You are not doing it to seek recognition or for people to love you. You are doing it so that God will love you, knowing that He is the One that will reward you.

Now, in that process, you will be like Him. One who does what makes God happy, is he not that person that will look like God? It is! His Word has finally made you spotless before Him.

If you want salvation through THE SON OF MAN, and you are disobeying His Messages, do you really want salvation?

If you tell a doctor to prescribe drugs that will heal your wound, and you refuse to take those drugs prescribed by Him, why then did you come to him in the first place?

If you are not called to question concerning your various characters, God has set His word aside, He has made His word of non- effect, far be it from God. You must give God reason why you are saying no to His word, you must give God what? A reason; that which you acknowledged to be the truth from God, you acknowledged that this is the God of this age but yet not taking His word seriously, obeying His word becomes difficult for you, you must tell God why.

YOU MUST GIVE ACCOUNT OF YOUR STEWARDSHIP (1)

Let us go to Genesis 3:17 so that you will see the first example God gave us in the Garden of Eden. Good News Bible. “And he said to the man, You listened to your wife and ate the fruit which I told you not to eat.”

Let us understand this passage. And he said to who? Man! Why did you do what? Why did you listen to your wife and ate the forbidden fruit?

Now you listened to your neighbour; you listened to your best friend; you listened to your girlfriend; you listen to whosoever you think is greater than God, and you had to do what God told you not to do.

“And he said to the man, “You listened to your wife and ate the fruit which I told you not to eat. Because of what you have done, the ground will be under a curse.”

Because of what you have done. You see the case of judgement. So you have listened to your wife and did what I told you not to do.

A simple instruction. For doing this, a curse shall be upon the ground. They received their recompense.

God was telling a Brother, “Call Me before you travel”, but he refused and came back with stories.

At the end of the day, where he did not want to go, at a young age, he went there. And that is to the grave. So you see the reward?

Now, God will tell you something, that is why God asked us, “Who is your counsellor?” This is because that person that is counselling you, will determine the type of life you will live.

If you are taking counsel from the devil, everything you are doing will be contrary to God. Do you understand me?

THAT PERSON YOU ARE REASONING THAT WORD WITH, WHO IS HE? IS HE GREATER THAN GOD? WHY CAN’T YOU DO WHAT GOD TOLD YOU TO DO? IT IS A SIMPLE INSTRUCTION.

“We have changed location does not mean we have changed our pattern of worshipping God. If you know how you were worshipping on Sundays, go home and worship like that.” Is it not a simply instruction?

But you will go and see some people wearing night gown in the Fellowship. And for that, God has taken record. You cannot tell God the day He will reward you, for you are not dealing with your fellow man.

He gave you an instruction and you will not tell Him the day He will reward you.

And that was why the Pastor was telling us that once you harden your heart to disobey God, also harden your heart to receive the just recompense. Be ready to receive the recompense and punishment too.

Genesis 3:17 Amplified. “And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened and giving heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the fruit of which I commanded you, saying, you shall not eat of it, the ground is under a curse because of you.

Because of what he did, God did what? God paid them back.

Whenever we hear the Word of God, let us take it as something that must be obeyed. The best way to follow it is that, we should follow it like a command, knowing that in a command you do not have an option not to obey.

No one wants to even know that your excuse. So see every Word of God as a command. “Do not do this.” Take it that God said, “Do not do it.” Do not think that, in your own case, what God will do will be different.

For example, if Mr A commits a crime and God punishes him, then you think that, because you are closer to God, He will not punish you. It is a lie! God is not partial.

When you read in the book of Jeremiah, God was saying that the mission of Jeremiah was letting those people know the mind of God.

Remember Jeremiah was that prophet that the people told boldly, “Finally, let us tell you the truth. We do not want to obey all these things.”

Now, he was now talking to those people that were still claiming that they were following him.

Know God not only as a God of love, but know Him as a God of judgment too.

When you hear the story of Moses, do not only take the part that God so loved them, and that when they spread that clothe, that anybody that placed the clothe was saved, or that they came to the red sea and He divided the sea.

You should still remember that it was still that same God that saw them through, divided the red sea, defeated pharaoh and gave them victory over many lands.

Yet, the same God was the one that told them that, from 19 years and above, all that murmured must pay for it. It is to that same God that we are accountable to.

This accountability is not the normal literal meaning or the one we do to our fellow man.

Imagine sending me to buy something for you, I might buy it for three thousand naira [₦3,000] and I will tell you that I bought it nine thousand naira [₦9,000]. And I will bring a forged receipt for you.

To you, I have been accountable, and you will give me the nine thousand naira. But to me, I have deceived you and I will go my way.

I might ask you to stay here and watch over a worker for me, and you will ask another person to stay when I leave, and you will be updating me from what the person you told to stay on your behalf is telling you.

In your heart, you are accountable but in the case of accountability to God, is He here now? No! But we are doing that thing He said we should do and also doing it in the right way.

This one is not the situation where we will pretend that we are holy people and we start lying to Him when we call Him by telling Him, “Daddy, today’s Fellowship was marvelous.” No!

We believe that He is here with us fellowshipping with us and seeing our hearts.

When I was talking to my Brethren at Nsugbe, I told them that first step as a true seed of God, is that when you come to God, you will be open minded.

The book of Thessalonians, God said that why He loved the people was because the people were open-minded to hear the Word of God.

And at that time they were hearing the Word of God, as they accepted the Word of God, the spirit of God, the Holy Ghost came down in them bit by bit and it started doing wonders in the lives. That is what open-mindedness brings.

Imagine in a situation where they were now see Paul and say, “Let us go and see what he will tell us today.” Once you come with that mindset, all that will be said is not for you again. Once you doubt one, it will affect others. Because it is like a chain reaction. Amen.

I want to use the Scriptures so that we will understand the kind of God we are having dealings with.

And so that we can see reasons for divine accountability or spiritual accountability. This one is no more a carnal one. It is a spiritual accountability.

Ecclesiastes 11:9. Amplified. “Rejoice, O young man, in your adolescence, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your [full-grown] youth.

And walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your eyes, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment”.

He said that we should walk according to what our heart tells you in the sight of our own eyes. Do you understand that verse?

He said that whatever that your heart tells you to your own understanding, do it. The Scriptures said that you should rejoice in the Lord in your adolescence, but do not forget that he will bring every record to judgment. Whether good or bad.

This is because to you, what you have done may be good, but to God, it might be bad. So, whatever you want to do, do it.

Ecclesiastes 11:9. Good News Bible: “Young people, enjoy your youth. Be happy while you are still young.

You see what the Bible told you. That as you are young, you should do what? Enjoy your youth. But we have chosen our own way of enjoying it.

There are some who are in the club now. Some are in the field, while some are in their business. That is the way they have chosen to enjoy it. And the Bible told them to enjoy.

Do you understand what this Scripture is saying? The Bible commanded that you should enjoy. The Scripture said that you should be happy when you are young.

If you are stealing, be happy doing it. Feel free and be doing it. If it is goodness, be happy doing it.

Be happy while you are still young. Do what you want to do, and follow your heart’s desire. But remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do.”

 The Bible is not against all these things happening. That is why when you see all these church that are practicing evil, and one will be praying to God so that they will be exposed, it will not work.

The Bible has already told them to enjoy it. Follow your heart desire. Do whatever you want to do, but know and remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do.

Ecclesiastes 11:9. Living Bible. “Young man, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it!

Imagine that! You should make maximum use of youthful age.

Do all you want to; take in everything, but realize that you must account to God for everything you do.”

It still boils down to what? Divine accountability! Anything you want to do, you do it. God has taught you.

It is just like Nigeria. Nigeria has her constitution with all the “Do not do this” and “Do not do that.” Now, anything you want to do as a citizen, you are free to do it.

Anyone that wants to steal is free to steal, but any day he is caught he will pay dearly for it. He might serve one year in prison. Is it not true?

When he was doing it, did anybody catch him? If they chase him, he will run away. And so, he was enjoying the whole thing. But any day he is caught, he will know.

The rich fool in the Bible that Jesus gave in His parable was saying, “Oh, I have the whole wealth in the world. I have arrived. I can command Nations. I can feed everybody and I am still ok. What else will I do. What again do I do in this life? I have arrived.”

This is the highest point one can come to, materially. That night, God requested for his soul. He came back home to give account.

[16]And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: [17]and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? [18]And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. [19]And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. [20]But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? [Luke 12:16 – 20 KJV]

So God is telling you, anyhow you want to act, you should act. He is not against it. If you want to follow your good heart desire or your bad heart desire, it is your choice. But just realize that you are going to give account of it. Amen.

 Let us see where our reward is coming from. Let us see who has that reward, who we are going to give account and who is going to pay us back.

Ezekiel 18:30 Amplified: “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, says the Lord God.

I will judge you according to your ways. Let us look at our Brethren and what God said about them last week and what God held against them.

When God gave that judgement, was it based on what their children did? It was not based on what their children did. It was not based on what their friend did or the wife or the husband or whatever did. Rather, it was based on what they did themselves.

It is based on that thing that you did that God will judge you. That thing you did. That thing I did. It is not my own way. It is not our own way. We were called differently. You are going to answer your own question and I am going to answer my own question.

It is not a situation where if He will ask you, then you will excuse yourself to enquire from someone to know what you will answer Him when He asks you question in judgment. No!

It is an individual affair. It is a divine one. Once the question comes to you, it will stand before you. The only thing is that God will not judge the Elect.

But once you come to the Judgment Throne of God, you will never survive it. So, this accountability we are talking of, I want us to see it from the divine angle.

Daddy might call Bro Lucky to ask him about something, and He tells Bro Lucky that He will call Bro Ugo after.

Bro Ugo cannot enquire from Bro Lucky of what Daddy asked Him and what he replied so that bro Ugo can memorize it and reply whenever God calls him.

Now, you have prepared from Bro Lucky’s side and God will come from your own dimension. And when He does that you will be dumbfounded.

We, the elect are the only people that are happy for everything to end because we know we are in God’s plan. When we hear about the promise of God and how swiftly it will come, we are happy.

This is because we want it to come swiftly because we know we are in the number. God said that this Message is doing two things at the same time. Giving joy to the elects and making all those unbelievers scared.

They are all afraid because no need of rebellion at this point. Imagine wearing a shield and someone is pinching you with an object, will you feel it? He will be pinching you while you are moving forward.

In the present stage of the Bride Ministry, God has already enveloped the Bride. So your rebellion has nothing to do there. Even if you try to seduce people through your rebellion, it can only work out for people like you.

You can never seduce the whole Bride because God said that even a little child in this Faith is not easy to be seduced, for he or she knows who THE SON OF MAN is by divine revelation.

Ezekiel 18:30 Amplified:  Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, says the Lord God. Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin and so shall they not be a stumbling block to you. Amen.

Ezekiel 18:30 Good News Bible: “Now I, the Sovereign Lord, am telling you Israelites that I will judge each of you by what you have done. Turn away from all the evil you are doing, and don’t let your sin destroy you.”

Turn away from the evil, and do not let your sin destroy you. The good you are doing cannot destroy you, but will exalt you. It is that path that you have decided to walk in that will determine your end point.

If it is judgment that you want, it is the path you are treading on. If you want mercy, it will be determined by the path you are treading on.

What if God says, “Look at what I am going to do to Ahab for his sins”, and he wore sackcloth; That is what the Bible told us; that he wore sackcloth.

 Immediately the Message was presented, he cried and cried. God spoke again, “I have seen that you have changed your heart. Now, I will shift what I have decided to do to your generation.

[27]When Ahab heard those words of Elijah, he tore his clothes, put sackcloth on his flesh, fasted, lay in sackcloth, and went quietly. [28]And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, [29]Do you see how Ahab humbles himself before Me? Because he humbles himself before Me, I will not bring the evil in his lifetime, but in his son’s day I will bring the evil upon his house. [1 Kings 21:27 – 29 AMP]

You see the type of God we are worshipping. Now, this generation does not know anything about it.

In the book of Luke, you will still see where God required the blood of Abel from this generation.

[51]from the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zechariah, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation. [Luke 11:51 KJV]

But there are people that have sworn that as long as they live, they are going to live like Cain, and that is why God has seen it from the beginning and required the blood of Abel from this generation. And we have seen the reason why God is demanding the blood of Abel.

NO MATTER HOW GOD BLESSES A HYPOCRITE, IT CAN NEVER MAKE HIM TO SURRENDER TO GOD.

THAT IS WHY GOD SAID, WHATEVER A HYPOCRITE WILL GAIN FROM THIS FAITH BY PLAYING HYPOCRISY, BEFORE EVERYBODY, BEFORE THE ALMIGHTY, HE WILL VOMIT ALL. HE MUST PAY! YOU WILL EAT ONE, AND VOMIT A BASKET.

YOU MUST GIVE ACCOUNT OF YOUR STEWARDSHIP (2)

The Bible said that everybody is saying that they are children of God, but God knows His own. He knows that this person believes Me, he knows that this is my sons.

[18]Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. [Acts 15:18 KJV]

God knows who Job was and told the devil to come and test.

[8]And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who [reverently] fears God and abstains from and shuns evil [because it is wrong]? …… [12]And the Lord said to Satan (the adversary and the accuser), Behold, all that he has is in your power, only upon the man himself put not forth your hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.  [Job 1:8, 12 AMP]

God knew who Samael was and started his ministry at a very tender age. There is no age to worship of God.

[18]But Samuel ministered before the Lord, being a child, girded with a linen ephod. …… [26]And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favor both with the Lord, and also with men. [1 Samuel 2:18, 26 KJV]

Watch Ahab, God said, “Look at what I am going to do to him for he sinned.” The Bible told us that Ahab wore sack cloth.

Moses was 80 years when God called him. Immediately God called Moses a new journey has started.

[22]And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. [23]And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel. …… [29]Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Midian, where he begat two sons. [30]And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sinai an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. [Acts 7:22 – 23, 29 – 30 KJV]

To God, Moses was like a fresh baby, but to people, they were looking at him like an old man.

Immediately that thing happened, there became a change. A change occurred. Immediately God called Moses, a new journey started.

To God, Moses was like a fresh baby. Though people were seeing him from the perspective that he was an elderly man, but God was seeing Moses as a baby.

Moses killed an Egyptian but God never judged him for murder. There are some people that saw him when he killed them, they will be saying, “Look at this man that killed someone.”

[24]And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian: [25]for he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them; but they understood not. [26]And the next day he showed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another? [27]But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us? [28]Wilt thou kill me, as thou didst the Egyptian yesterday? [Acts 7:24 – 28 KJV]

When Moses and Pharaoh was locking horns, Moses was showing the power of God while Pharaoh was showing magic. It was miracle versus magic. So, you must trace this kind of God.

This is same God that spoke to Noah, spoke to Abraham and also spoke to Moses. The same God was in Jesus Christ.

And the same God is THE SON OF MAN. He is now the person we are having dealings with. A man born twins.

So, let us stop seeing him as a man of God, for that is what is killing many in the Bride of Christ.

They have not seen Him as the lord God almighty, who has decided to come and see things for Himself and of Whom the book of Revelation foretold.

If you read the Book of Revelation very well, and you watch all the supernatural instances, occurrences and all the supernatural evidences in our midst, you will see that THE SON OF MAN is the Promised One.

Once you read it, but you do not find out and believe truly that He is the one, then, know that you are not ordained to this Family of God.

A seed of God does not stumble at the things of God. When you were growing, you saw one man and called him your father, you might come out tomorrow and say that he is no longer your father.

That is why you see these adopted children who, in the long run, will still find out that the man they are living with is not their father. If you see your father, you will recognize him.

For true sons and daughters of God, when they see God, they recognize their father. But people that are not His, when they see God, they call Him “that man”.

When He manifest Himself, they call Him devil or an occult man, saying that He is this and that, forgetting that the devil recognizes God.

Can you imagine? You see the judgment people are unleashing to themselves. In the Message, “The devil will testify against this generation”, God told us that the devil recognizes God. The devil knows Me, but my people do not know Me.

In the Scriptures when Jesus came to cast out demon in a man, the demons in him said, “Have you come to take us before our time? The demon recognized Him. So, even demons recognized who He was.

[28]And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. [29]And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God ? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? [Matthew 8:28 – 29 KJV]

Mathew 12:36-37 “But I tell you, on the Day of Judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.”

Every idle, every non-working, inoperative and idle word you speak, you are going to do what? Give account of it. At that point in time, you see why God does not crack joke.

Stop seeing God that He is joking. That is why God does not joke. He might be saying something and be laughing.

When He told our Pastor [Wisdom] that he is going to serve in the northern land, he said it jokingly. And when the Voice came to pass, our Pastor became angry. God does not joke.

You are going to give account of every idle, inoperative word you have said. If you see where people are joking and you join them, you just made contact and not impact. You are going to give account of that.

God said, “As a child of God, when you come in contact with people make greater impact than contact.”

An example is THE SON OF MAN’s visit to Apostle Kelechi’s Landlord. THE SON OF MAN has visited that man only once, but the impact THE SON OF MAN has made in that man’s life is more than that one contact that He made with Him.

That is what God wants us to do. And for everything God has told us, He has lead by example, for He has lived that life before He tells us to live that kind of life.

When you want to interact with people, make contacts that impacts something positive. Do not talk rashly.

The Bible has already told us that, for every idle and inoperative word we speak, God is going to bring you to judgment.

“For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

By your words, you will be justified and acquitted. That is when God knows that you are divinely accountable to Him. “My son, my son, I am well pleased with you.” And not coming before that judgment seat.

Mathew 12:36-37 Living Bible. “And I tell you this, that you must give account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. Your word now reflects your fate then: either you will be justified by them or you will be condemned.”

So now, our fate is determined by the words we speak. This is because when you talk and talk, you start acting according to that thing you have said.

Remember what Ecclesiastes told us that in our youth we should enjoy this life, live the way we think is right from our heart. Now, walk in your own sight, but remember that you will come before God for judgment.

God told us that our words now determine our fate. Speak right to your justification, but speak evil or wrong to your condemnation. Halleluiah, Amen.

We are in danger of being called to question; Preached on 5th April 1998; Page 77. (Block word) “As children of God what decisions are you making to improve this ministry?

What decision are you making to improve your own ministry as a child of God? Or are you just following? Anything they are doing let me join them.

What has been your commitment to the ministry? How have you committed yourself? How have you dedicated yourself to this ministry?

Do you want to progress or remain stagnant? Once you see your ministry by revelation as a calling in Christ, you must constantly strive to make sure at all times that your “calling and election” stands sure.

I want you to see it as a Ministry. I see it that I am living this life of Christ and not myself. And that at all times, my calling and election stands sure. And by this way, God will reject every accusation from the devil.

This is because God has seen the decision you have made, so He will not start feeling faint hearted asking, “Why did I select this person as My Elect?”

Because some people have wasted their days of grace and it has made God to regret choosing them. Let us not be among those people.

We are in danger of being called to question; Preached on 5th April 1998; Page 79 verse 5 – 6.“In order words willful rejection of the word can never be forgiven.

That willful rejection of the truth can never be forgiven. As we have heard this Message today, but you willfully disobey or you willfully neglect or you willfully reject this Message, God told us that you will never be forgiven.

And because it can never be forgiven that is why God made it possible for the unbelievers to look and look without perceiving, they opened their ears; they hear and hear without understanding, lest they should understand and their willful rejection of the truth be forgiven them.

[13]Therefore speak I to them in parables : because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. [14]And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: [15]for this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. [Matthew 13:13 – 15 KJV. Also in Isaiah 6:9 – 10, Mark 4:12]

Remember what God said that whenever he sees that you have sworn not to obey His words, He is going to hand you over to a reprobate spirit.

Now, handing you over to that spirit, He will never deliver you. Why? So that your willful rejection of the truth can never be forgiven.

Now if God says willful rejection of the truth can never be forgiven, is it my own that will be forgiven? In order that your own be not forgiven, God will hand you over to a reprobate spirit, so that whenever He looks at you He will be angry.

But if He does not give you over to that reprobate spirit, one day you might change your mind and your willful rejection of the truth will now be forgiven.

For that Scripture to fulfilled, God will hand you over to a reprobate spirit. Every willful rejection of the Word can never be forgiven.

That is why He will hand you over to a spirit that you will be hearing without perceiving. You will be claiming that it is the truth but once it ends, no change. At the end of the day, you see yourself not having control over yourself.

Thus, when the Truth is presented before you and you willfully reject it, you are doomed forever. There is no saving grace for you. God will hand you over to the Spirit of Delusion to start believing lies.

That is why we are not surprised that some Brethren that were in this Faith, who after seeing the manifestation of God, still recanted the Faith to start calling on Jesus, saying that Jesus is lord.

God said that whenever you willfully reject, that he will hand you over to reprobate spirit and that you will start believing lies. They will tell you to come that there is this person is a mighty man of God, and you will believe it.

At this point, you hear the truth, but you can never believe that it is truth. That is what will keep happening at each point in time when one willfully rejects the Word of God.

So at all time, let us continue to keep our self on that track. God told us that as children of God we have limitations. Once you cross that boundary where God’s mercy and grace will reach you the next thing is judgment.

So if you have been acting wrongly, retract because, from now on, you have had the knowledge that you are now divinely accountable to God, now knowing God not only as a God of love but also as the God of justice who does not only acquit a repentant sinner, but also condemns an elect who decided and flagrantly and willfully rejected His word.

So let us not come to that point where you will start rioting with the Word of God. Let us continue to make sure that we are maintaining a healthy relationship with God.

Let us have it at the back of our minds that you are not accountable to me. You are not accountable to the Pastor in charge of your household, but you are accountable to God. You are accountable to God.

On this note, let us stand up and thank God for this wonderful teaching we have received.

ighty father, the King of kings, THE SON OF MAN, we worship you. We adore you. We lift up your name and we thank you, O Lord for moving mightily in our midst.

From the first sermon we heard, O Lord, you used it to energize our hearts, to remind us of who we are and to remind us of that position you have called us.

Father, King of kings and Lord of Lords, we also thank you for the teachings we have heard using the Scriptures and Messages. Knowing that now we are accountable to you Lord, may we walk in that pathway where your love and praise will be abundant towards us.

Father, we pray this day that you help us never to sidetrack, never to act contrary, and never to willfully reject your Word.

Father, we come against anything that will make you to hand us over to seducing spirit that will make us to start believing lies.

Father, in the Scriptures we have a lot of examples of your prophets who veered off the track and evil spirits anointed them. You made them to start believing lies.

Even among us in the Bridal Faith, we have numerous examples of people You love that willfully rejected your teachings, Lord. And You handed them over to a reprobate mind and they started doing wrong things, and even started believing lies.

Father, may we never be clothed with such spirits. May we be clothed with an open mind. Father, may we possess a child-like mind; a mind that will continue to adjust to every teaching that we receive from you, O Lord.

Father, may our hearts never be rusty, may it never be stony, may it be a fertile ground for your Word to be planted and germinate Oh Lord.

Father, as you have given us the command to enjoy our young life, may we enjoy it in You, O Lord.

 May nothing make us to have a shipwreck of our ministry. May we be accountable Oh God. May we give You account, knowing that our reward cometh from You Lord.

Father, King of kings and Lord of Lords, anything that will strain our relationship with you Father, we come against that.

May this Word we have received today O Lord, be a blessing, not only to us that have heard it now, but to some other people that will hear it. May this Word make a permanent impact in their lives O Lord.

May it have a resting place in their heart O Lord. Father, King of kings and Lord of Lords; we thank You, having seen us through in all our activities of this week O Lord. Do not allow any evil to come to us.

Father, we pray that as You have abode in us from the beginning of this week till now, that you abide in us as we complete this week O Lord.

Father, as we go to bed, may we sleep O Lord. Every dream that we will have this night, may it come from your Throne of Grace.

As we meditate upon this Word O Lord, may it change our lives. May we never sleep to death.

Father, we lift our family members wherever they are Father, that you guide and protect them. Never allow any evil testimony to come our way. Continue to see us through.

Never cease from guiding and protecting us throughout this month O God. Few days from now, we will be entering a new month. Come and be with us.

No distance is short. Wherever we are going, Father, may your glory protect and guide us. Continue to see us through and continue to protect us and continue to uphold us under your canopy and under your wings of love O Lord.

Father, King of glory, continue to shoot us on high. May we never sidetrack, so that on that day we will receive our reward from you O Lord.

We will boldly receive our reward, knowing O Lord that we are going to stand with you and judge the world.

Thou King of kings and Lord of Lords, on that day translation will be manifest, may we be partakers of your blessings. May we never be among those that will tell the world what has happened O Lord.

Father, King of kings and Lord of Lords, be with us and protect us so that at the end, we will have every cause to glorify your Holy name.

Be thou exalted, Abba Father. Thank you for answering our prayers, which we pray in the mighty name of Peter the Christ our lord. Amen.
