If you like program yourself, you will not eat and drink so that you will stay here till eternity, you will die. If you eat you will die, refuse to eat you will die. Drink you will die, refuse to drink you will die. If you travel you will die. Refuse to travel you will die. The most important thing is the beginning of your day which will determine the way you will end it. Thus, whatever you are, hold fast to it, be sure you are found in Him doing His will, because there is now a very short gap between where you are and where you will stop, it can be any means, and make no mistakes about it.

ENCOURAGE AND EDIFY ONE ANOTHER

Blessed be the Name of the Lord Christ, Apostle Peter Odoemena the Son of Man Who came with full and complete salvation Remain ever blessed fellow Saints of the Most High God. It has pleased the Almighty God in our midst Apostle Peter Odoemena (BBHMHN) Who has granted me this wonderful opportunity and privilege to come your way again by way of encouraging my fellow believers and also to grow in my own faith!

Encouragement is vital for spiritual growth. We grow by being encouraged and by encouraging others.
Blessed Heavenly Father, it is indeed with grateful hearts that we come humbly before Thee this day, to thank Thee for the good things of life, realizing that life itself is just one great struggle.
If we are not having it in one way, we are having it in another. But one glorious day the battle will be over. We will live with Christ eternally Whom we have looked forward to being with since, having loved Him, and become acquainted with Him, and a relation to Him. And we are so happy to know that some day we shall live and abide with Him forever in Paradise. Amen.
Almighty God the Son of Man opened this Month of August on a good note with a special prayer and short exhortation and He declared this month to be the month of the realization of all God’s promises to His people (the elect). A month for strong devotion to God, a special month! A divine month for strict service to the Lord! A month for sincere service to God and to humanity!
Disobedience to the laid down teachings given to us by God Himself is a departure from Him and automatically it means that we have given our allegiance to the devil and Idols.
Where do we belong to? Where do you belong to? And where do I belong to? These are questions we ought to ask ourselves in time like this.
God told us that we should live everyday of our lives here on earth as if it is the last day we have. If you go to bed and you do not wake up in the morning, your own file has been closed.
Every human being belongs to a constituency but we are declaring our own constituency, the Bride of Christ Ministry Worldwide, as children of God wherever we are found. For that reason, let us keep on encouraging ourselves with God’s word and believing in His unfailing promises for the D-day is nearest.
Encouragement is brick by brick, word by word, action by action, building according to the revealed Christ of our day Apostle Peter Odoemena, The Lord Christ. And not only building up, but building into!
Encouragement builds each follower of Christ into a home, a dwelling place for God Himself and a location in the fallen world such as the one we are in, to encounter Christ personally in spirit and in truth, which will create a definite experience that cannot be easily taken away from the individual.
The Hebrew word in the Old Testament for encouragement is “ḥāzaq” meaning to strengthen, prevail, harden, be strong, become strong, be courageous, be firm, grow firm, be resolute, and be sore.
This is a super common word in the Bride and in the Bible. When we encourage, we are infusing strength, repairing, and holding up our fellow Christ followers.
Be on the lookout for both forms of the New and Old Testament words for “encourage” as we read through these Bible verses about encouragement. I want to make use of only two Bible translations notably, The Amplified version and The Message Bible. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 5:11-14 AMP “Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing. Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]–your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you.
And hold them in very high and most affectionate esteem in [intelligent and sympathetic] appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper]”.
MSG “So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it. And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience.
Overwhelm them with appreciation and love! Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part. Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on. Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs”.
This verse commands all the true elects and believers to continue to encourage and lift up fellow followers of Christ. The church of Thessalonians was already doing this and Paul encouraged them not to stop, but to keep on encouraging each other just as the Almighty God in our midst has been reminding us daily to continue in the same vein.
1 Peter 2:4-5 AMP: “Come to Him [then, to that] Living Stone which men tried and threw away, but which is chosen [and] precious in God’s sight. [Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ”.
MSG “Welcome to the living Stone, the source of life. The workmen took one look and threw it out; God set it in the place of honor. Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you’ll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God”.
Our relationship with God is a source of constant encouragement to believers as we live in the world while also becoming more and more like the Son of Man everyday.
He urged all the elects to learn of Him in all things, and by so doing we will all be cleansed, pure and worthy of His confidence to be called His beloved sons and daughters.
Hebrews 3:13 AMP “But instead, warn (admonish, urge, and encourage) one another every day, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [by the fraudulence, the stratagem, the trickery which the delusive glamor of his sin may play on him]”.
MSGverse 12-13 “So watch your step, friends. Make sure there’s no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as it’s still God’s Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes”.
Encouragement can be an antidote for the deceitful nature of sin and the hardening of our hearts to God. Therefore, we need to receive and give encouragement often!
Psalms 27:14 AMP “Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord”.
MSG “Stay with GOD! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with GOD”.
It takes strength and courage to keep expecting God when it does not seem like He is showing up like we think He should. Reminding ourselves of God’s goodness helps us to be encouraged as we wait.
Hebrews 10:24-25 AMP “And let us consider and give attention, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching”.
MSG “Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching”.
Saints and true Elects of God are to be constantly pushing each other to grow in their love and service to Christ. The Church which is the local gathering of believers is not the only place that can enact this mission (where to encourage and strengthen each other) on earth, but there are other ways fellow believers can gather together and encourage themselves both online and in person.
And God told us that the best way one can use his/her handset is by listening and sharing the Word of God.
Ephesians 4:29 AMP “Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it”.
MSG “Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift”.
Joshua 1:9 AMP “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”.
MSG “Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. GOD, your God, is with you every step you take.”
Most encouraging promises of God! God promises to infuse us with courage through His presence. En-courage, by putting His courage in us through His presence. And at last he has finally established His presence fully without reservation in our midst.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 AMP “Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words”.
MSG “Oh, we will be walking on air! And then there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. So reassure one another with these words”.
When we look at this verse in its expanded context in the book of Thessalonians, we see that Christ’s return and our eternal life with Him are to be sources of uplifting and joy to us in our walk with God. By maintaining a vine-branch relationship with Him without spot and any trace of offence!
Colossians 3:1-2 AMP “IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth”.
MSG “So if you are serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you.
Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective”.
Practically speaking, encouragement resets our hearts and minds toward spiritual things and helps us not to get caught up in silly arguments or divisive issues. And the best and greatest encouragement at this point in time is self encouragement.
Philippians 2:3-4 AMP “Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves].
Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others”.
MSG “Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand”.
When we value others, we seek to encourage and build them up, rather than tear them down through ambition or selfish thinking of ourselves. As instructed by God Himself that we should learn of Him by being humble, meek and lowly.

Brethren, at a time like this what we need is a strong anchor. If you are not anchored in Christ, if you are hypocritical, if your sense is deceiving you, instead of developing your faith, you are developing your sense, definitely you will run into troubles any time from now. God is telling people to develop their faith. Instead of developing their faith they are developing their senses. Prophet William Braham said nobody worships God with sense. You worship God by Faith. He said, “But when you begin to apply sense to the word of God, definitely that will mark you out for with sense Abraham never worshiped God.

FEAR NOT, BE COURAGEOUS

Isaiah 41:13 AMP “For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you”.

MSG “That’s right. Because I, your GOD, have a firm grip on you and I’m not letting go. I’m telling you ‘Don’t panic. I’m right here to help you’”
God has you and me firmly in His grip and He is not letting us go. You can let go of fear because He is ready and willing to help! If only we can trust, obey and believe in Him wholeheartedly without any figment of doubt.
John 14:27 AMP Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled]”.
MSG “I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught”.
Ezekiel 34:15 AMP “I will feed My sheep and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord God”.
MSG “And I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep. I myself will make sure they get plenty of rest”.
If you feel like the underdog, if you feel lost or behind, God is promising to strengthen and encourage you. You can entrust your life to Him. Amen
Ephesians 4:15-16 AMP “Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love”.
MSG “God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love”.
This verse beautifully illustrates how the followers can speak truthfully, loving encouragements and promote growth in themselves to the absolute glory of God who is in our midst, Apostle Peter Odoemena (BBHMHN).
Romans 14:19 AMP “So let us then definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual upbuilding (edification and development) of one another”.
MSG “So let’s agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words”.
Saints and true Elects of God, we have amazing freedom in Christ, but not freedom to do evil as recorded in 1 Corinthians 6:12, AMP
“Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power.”
MSG “Just because something is technically legal doesn’t mean that it’s spiritually appropriate. If I went around doing whatever I thought I could get by with, I’d be a slave to my whims.”
GNT “Someone will say, “I am allowed to do anything.” Yes; but not everything is good for you. I could say that I am allowed to do anything, but I am not going to let anything make me its slave.
Two great questions to ask and evaluate yourself, whether you are helping or hurting is to honestly ask:
Will this lead to peace? That is, anything we are doing at any point in time. And
Will this build up my fellow Saints and Christ-follower?
If we succeed in answering this two questions and placing them rightly, I think it will be better and even best for us all. Amen.
Let us hear what Prophet William Branham said concerning the gathering of God’s children in every dispensation. In his Message titled, “A Court Trial” Preached By Prophet William Branham on Sunday, the 12^th of April 1964 at the National Guard Armory in Birmingham, Alabama, U.S.A verse 7-8.
“Every crowd, now, they have three classes of people: believers, make-believers, unbelievers. You have it in every crowd. Jesus had it in His. And I showed you the other night how He segregated them by saying things and never explained it.
See, He never said why they’d have to eat His body, why He come … how He was to come down, same one going up—when these people knowed He was just a man, had a bad name to begin with. But He said it just to test their faith.
Those disciples never moved. They couldn’t explain it, but look at what Peter said. “Lord, where would we go to?” See, they had seen the Word of God for that day that was promised for them, vindicated. They said, “We know that that is the source.”
John 6:68 MSG “Peter replied, “Master, to whom would we go? You have the words of real life, eternal life”.
AMP: “Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words (the message) of eternal life”.
In the same manner, God is presently calling on everyone who calls himself/herself a child of God to be sure of his spiritual standpoint and know his/her status in Christ at any point in time.
God is still lamenting concerning the unbelievers and the make believers who happened to be in the majority in our midst.
Encourage thyself and one another Oh Few Despised Saints with God’s Word so as to be firmly rooted and grounded in the Lord Apostle Peter Odoemena (BBHMHN)
Let us continue with this Message; A Court Trial, Verse 8. Look at the Shunammite woman, the same way when she got the little boy from the blessing of Elisha. She said, “Saddle me a mule, and don’t you stop till I bid you,” see. And she went to the man of God, and he didn’t know.
But she knowed if God could have that prophet to tell her she would have a son, she could find out why God took her son. And she was persistent in doing so. And you remember, she stayed with her faith till she found out what was … what caused it.
And Elisha went (not even knowing what he was doing), walked up and down the floor, laid his body upon the baby, and it come to life. See, it’s because the people believe. They can’t explain.
No one can explain God. But when you see God doing something in His Word that He promised He would do it…”
Unbelief has been the greatest undoing in all the ages among God’s children. As we see the Day approaching Oh Few Despised Saints of God, let us encourage one another with the Word and also believe fully in God’s promises, for they are ye and Amen.

When you believe, there shall be a performance of that which is promised. However, when you do not believe, do not expect the promise to come to pass. “…His presence within us is God’s guaranty that really He will give us all that He promised. And His spirit seal upon us means that God has already purchased us”. His spirit seal, do you know what it takes to place a seal on a document? Once a seal is placed on a document, it becomes an irrevocable document, acceptable worldwide. You see, we have God’s seal of ownership.

GOD’S PROMISES GO TO THE ELECT AND BELIEVERS ONLY

Let us continue with this Message; “A Court Trial” this is going to be a lengthy reading. From Verse 15-31: “Though He did so many things, yet the people could not believe—because Isaiah says: they got hearts, they can’t understand; eyes, they can’t see; ears, they can’t hear. It had to be fulfilled.

And so does this have to be fulfilled: “to be heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, false accusers, incontinent, and despisers of those that are good; having a form of godliness and denying the power thereof”—the power of the God that they have the form of.
What a saddening thing. What if that was you? Think of a man or woman that can’t believe that. What if that was you? Just think of it! It’s to be pitied; not to be scorned, but to be pitied. It certainly is the truth. Notice now!
¹⁶Today I’m going to call what we’d call—for a few minutes now before we pray for the sick, and we’re going to try to be out of here within the next forty minutes, if possible—but I want to have just a little trial first.
And now the case is, today in this court trial (if you’ll just listen closely, and keep in mind what I’m trying to say, it won’t be long), the case is the Word of God’s promise versus the world.
Now, a case cannot be called unless it’s for some cause. You have to present the case. And the case that is called in this courtroom this afternoon…! Now I want you, every one, I charge you to listen to the case.
Now the case is the Word of God’s promises versus the world. The case, and the cause for the indictment, is a breach of promise. (Can you hear me all right? Raise up your hands if you’re… Around everywhere now, you can hear?) The indictment is a breach of promise.
God made a promise and didn’t stick to it. God’s Word made a promise, so He’s being brought in for a court case—breach of promise.
¹⁷Now, the prosecuting attorney always represents the state, if I understand the courts right. So the prosecuting attorney in this is representing the world, and the prosecuting attorney is Satan. He represents the world because the world belongs to him. And he’s representing the world, and he is their prosecuting attorney.
The defendant in this case is Almighty God—the defendant. And now, the defendant always has a defense witness, and the defense witness in this case is the Holy Ghost.
And now we’re going to… And the prosecuting attorney also has some witnesses in the case, and I’m going to name them. And one of them is Mr. Unbeliever. The next one is Mr. Skeptic, and the next one is Mr. Impatience. These are the ones that are trying to get judgment against God.
¹⁸Now, we have the … all the characters called in now, and we’re in court so we’re going to call the court to order. All right! The order is… The court is called to order, and the prosecuting attorney now is going to call his first witness, to give witness.
And his first witness to the stand is Mr. Unbeliever, and his complaint is that God’s Word of promise is not altogether true. That’s what his complaint is, the first witness’s. He claims that he is a believer—though he isn’t—but he claims he is.
And he claims that he was ‘tending, here some time ago, a Holy Ghost (so-called) meeting where the people were laying hands upon the people, and giving their scriptural rights to do this, reading out of Mark 16, where I just read. “They shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover.”
Mr. Unbeliever testifies, and he says that “I had the hands of this (what was called the Holy Ghost-filled) preacher lay his hands upon me, according to Mark ¹⁸the promise that God made. [And the man said he was a believer, and many claimed to be healed.] And he laid his hands upon me, and that’s been two months ago and nothing has happened. Therefore the promise is not true.”
All right. We ask Mr. Unbeliever to step down. The prosecuting attorney, Satan, calls his next witness.
¹⁹Next witness stands up is Mr. Skeptic. Now he testifies. He said, “I went to a church… I was sick, and I went to a church that was supposed to have a godly pastor in it that had faith in God’s Word. And he had a little cruse of oil sitting upon his desk, and all of his people that come in there that wanted to be prayed for, he anointed them with oil, reading the promise out of God’s Word in James 5:14. Read the Word and said, ‘If there be any sick among you, let them call the elders of the church. Let them anoint them in oil, and pray over them, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and God shall raise him up. If he did any sin it shall be forgiven him.’”
And now, he said, “I had this pastor, who I’d heard testimonies from others, anoint me with oil, reading the scripture to me out of God’s promise. And that has been over a month ago and I’m still just as sick as I was when he anointed me. Therefore…” That’s his complaint. Let Mr. Skeptic step down.
²⁰And the prosecuting attorney, Satan, calls his next witness. His next witness is Mr. Impatience. That’s a rascal, see. Excuse that expression, see. He just makes you … gets you so nervous you don’t know what you’re doing, see—Mr. Impatience.
He claims that he… One day while reading the Bible (all these claim to be believers now), and he claims that he was reading the Bible and he come across the passage of Mark 11:22 and 23, where Jesus, Himself, made the promise that, “If you say to this mountain be moved and don’t doubt in your heart, but believe that what you’ve said will come to pass, you can have what you have said.” And again He says, “If you, when you pray believe that you receive what you asked for…”
Now, he says, “I have been crippled in my feet, lame in my feet, for some thirty years. And I accepted that promise five years ago and nothing has happened since. I’m still just as crippled as I ever was.” Now, now the pro… Then he steps down.
²¹Now the prosecuting attorney has to kind of show the case off. So the prosecuting attorney, which is Satan, says to the public, see, “These people claim to be believers and God is not justified in placing such rashal promises in His Word when He doesn’t back it up. [See, he’s indicting God.]
He put these promises in His Word for His believing children. And His believing children stepped up here and testified that they have accepted this claim that He has made in His Word, to be the truth; and they have no results from it at all.”
²²Therefore he’s indicting God—trying to get a case against Him—to say that God has put something in His Word for His believing children, and does not stand behind what He promised.
Also he claims that He’s unfair to make such a promise to people, to His believing children, and is not able to back up what He said He would do.
Now the prosecuting attorney is showing a hard case here against the defendant. “He’s not able to back it up because we got witnesses here that He does not stand behind the Word that He promised. “Yet,” the prosecuting attorney speaks on, the prosecuting attorney says (which is Satan), “ yet God promises that all things are possible to believers. God says that in His Word.”
The prosecuting attorney is sealing up his case now, see. He thinks he’s got it because the three witnesses have give witness, and give it to the Scripture and quoted the Scripture right, and everything the way they’ve done it. And now the prosecuting attorney is also sealing them little places that God promises that all things are possible to them that believe.
²³Yet, again, the prosecuting attorney speaks (Satan), and said, “God promises to be alive after He has been crucified. Promises … He promises He’s alive yet. And also He promises in His scripture, Hebrews 13:8, that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And He is unable to support or back up what He promises. [He’s nailing it down real tight so that there’s not a chance to get out of it.] He’s not able to do it. [God cannot keep His Word, in other words.] He claims that He is alive from the dead.
²⁴He claims also in John 14:12 that ‘He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also.’ He hasn’t been able to support that. “He said also in the Scripture, ‘Yet a little while and the world seeth me no more. Yet ye shall see me, for because I live, you live also.’
Notice, again, He claims that in Mark, the 17^th chapter, speaking of the days of Sodom—which we’re now living, like it was in the days of Sodom—that the scene of the world would be in the same position.
And if God would come down, being the Word manifested in flesh here on earth, and would be able to do just the same things that God did—which was a man in human form, which was called by Abraham, ‘Elohim’… And Jesus said when the Son of man is being revealed in the last days that He would reveal Himself in the same manner that was taken in the days of Lot—giving the scene.
“He also promises that He would be with us, even in us, unto the consummation, or the end of the world. And He also claims that both heavens and earth will fail, but His Word will never fail.”
²⁵Now I think the prosecuting attorney thinks he has his case pretty well sealed up. He’s got witnesses to prove that this Word is not the truth. Now you are both judge and jury this afternoon. You … your mind is the jury and your action is the judge. You … your … whatever your jury’s verdict is, you’ll act out what your verdict is, see.
You’ll have to do that, because your actions speaks louder than your words, see. That’s right. You can say something, but if you don’t mean it you can’t act it, see. Your actions will go louder than your words. Notice.
Now, let the prosecuting attorney step down. He’s give … had his witnesses and they’ve testified. The prosecuting attorney has placed the Word out here and sealed it, just the way he wants it, for he thinks he’s got the case completely sealed up now. So let the prosecuting attorney and his witnesses step down from the stand.
The devil and his three witnesses are done with their oratory. Now hear God out that’s the Holy spirit. Brethren I hope we are paying attention? Amen
²⁶Now we will call the defense witness, the Holy Spirit. You know if there’s a defendant, there has to be a defense witness. So we’ll call the defense witness to defend the defendant—the Holy Spirit.
The first thing the Holy Spirit says when He steps up is this: He wants to call the attention of the pros… to the prosecutor—the one that’s trying to try the case that’s indicted—that the prosecutor has misinterpreted the Word to the people, just like he did the first human being, Eve, in the garden of Eden. He’s misinterpreted the Word to the people, and the Holy Spirit, the defense witness, calls the attention to this.
²⁷Notice He said that the prosecutor has said that these promises are to believers and that believers is the only thing that the promise is to; not to unbelievers and skeptics. The defense witness has claims that God distinctly said that it was to believers, and calls the attention that each one that testified in protest against the Word admitted that others claimed to be healed, see. So that throws him out right now, see. But let’s go on with the case a little while.
And the defense witness should know whether they are believers or not, because He is the one that quickens the Word. He knows whether they believe or not. Don’t you think so? He should know. He knows whether they’re believers or not, because He’s the only one can put life in the Word.
Here would be my body standing here; without a spirit I’d be dead. But it’s only life can quicken this body to move; and it’s only the Holy Spirit that can quicken the Word. He’s the only one that can put it in action. And He ought to know whether they are believers or not.
And against their own testimony that they said others claimed to be healed, and others claimed to see these things, but they didn’t… Now I see his witnesses already condemned.
²⁸Now, He quickens the Word. And again He wants to call the attention of the word of the prosecutor, or the prosecutes that’s in question: He never set any certain time for this healing. He said, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick. God shall raise them up.” He said, “They shall lay hands upon the sick,” and He didn’t say they’d jump up right then and be healed. He said, “They shall recover, if they believe,” see. Misquoting the Word, see.
I think we got a good defense witness. Now, there … He should know whether they believe or not—He could say that. And He certainly does correct the scripture here, because the defense witness always did that. In the Bible terms, the Word always corrects itself.
And we find that He said that Satan has misquoted the Word to that unbeliever, and the unbeliever knowed no different. But the one that believed it knowed just exactly what it said and held onto it, see. But their claims was… They couldn’t prove it, but they claimed it themselves, and they was…
²⁹Like we claim to be saved. They say, “Well, show me how you’re saved.” My life proves I’m saved. The way I act proves whether I’m saved or not. No matter how much I testify, about a year you’ll know (how I live) whether I’m saved or not. Same way it is by healing.
If you accept it and believe it, you’re going to act like it. There’s going to be such a change in you, there’s nothing can take it out of your mind—no more than your salvation. It’s God’s Word. You’ve got to accept it on the same basis. By faith you are saved.
Jesus said to the woman who touched His garment, He said, “Thy faith has saved thee.” Now, I’m not a scholar by a long ways, but I have looked up a few words. Now that word there comes from the Greek word, “sozo,” which means saved—just like materially saved, or spiritually saved. You’re saved—sozo.
He saved her from a premature grave, just the same as He saves you from hell. Sozo, the same Greek word is used. Notice, “Thy faith has (sozo) saved thee from the sickness that you had.” Notice, same word every time.
³⁰Again, calling the attention now, the prosecutor has misquoted the Word. And God never said that they would jump up right quick as soon as they had hands laid on them; but He said they that believe would recover—that is, if he believes. It’s only to believers.
And again, the defense witness wants to call the attention to the court this afternoon that God said that His Word was a seed. The Word is a seed that a sower sowed. If this seed falls in the right kind of soil, that’s got enough fertility in it to make this seed spring to life, quicken it, it’ll live.
³¹Now, when a man plants a seed—if you’re a farmer, or know anything about planting any seed—if you plant a seed today (some corn, say, you put it in your garden), and tomorrow morning you’d go out and dig it up and look at it, and say, “Well, there’s no difference in it”; you plant it back, and the next day you go back, look at it, and say, “There’s no difference in it.”—it will never come up. It can’t do it. When you dug it up, you spoiled the picture right there.
You’ve got to commit it to the earth. Then it’s up to the earth to do the rest of it. And every time that you look at your symptoms, testify about them, complain about them, God can never heal you. You commit it to God and believe His Word. Sure it’s a miracle. Whether it’s sprouting, whether it’s … whatever it’s doing, you don’t care. God promised it, and potentially you have your healing when you accept it. It’s in seed form”.
Indeed, God’s promises go to the elects and the believers only. Though many might come claiming it; but they would be disappointed because they are not part of the promise. From what the Prophet outlined in this Message, A Court Trial, one can now place his/herself in the right position.
Let us be encouraged Saints of the Most High God with blessed Assurance because God’s promises are ye and Amen.

The problem many of us are having is that, we do not know that serving the lord is a strict business that demands seriousness, urgency, dedication, devotion and commitment to the cause. Nothing that demands seriousness can ever be achieved by a lazy mind nor a careless individual. An individual without self determination to succeed cannot achieve success. It takes a focused individual with a hard-working spirit to succeed on this all-important matter of serving the lord just as it is in any other sphere of life. What forms your desire in serving the lord today?

“God said this is the hour whereby People tend to get lost after abusing this Grace from God. This is because, right Now, God is not begging any human being To come and dwell in Paradise with Him.
Even if only one person goes to Paradise, God is satisfied. We are the ones Striving to get this eternal life, not God Striving to get it.
So, it is our own vocation to do what? Comply to what God is doing for us Because if we do not comply with it, if we Do not accept it, it will be to our own peril.
That is why THE SON OF MAN said, “Your obedience is to your own good. And your disobedience is to your own peril. “You are not doing it to Him or either to God. No way!
God is trying to stretch out His arms of love and favour to us and to co-opt us into His eternal life. That is what He is doing. He is showing us the greatest love. That is what God is showing us in our dispensation.
The greatest love is what we are enjoying in God. If you do not know, know it now. Extravagant love and grace is what we are enjoying”.
The question was asked, “What must we do that we may fulfill the perfect will of God? That we may do the works of God perfectly well”! He said, “You have only but one thing to do: believe in Him Whom He has sent.”
And believing means trusting in Him, confiding in Him, depending on Him, relying on Him, doubting nothing!
Turn with me to the same Message; No Second Chance Vol.2. Page 30 Vs 34-36 “Strive to be one of the survivors. That is what God is saying. Strive to be one of the survivors so that you will say, “I was a witness, look at how God destroyed the wicked.”
This is our fight. Our fight from day one is to be numbered among the survivors, because we know that the survivors are going to be few.
They have always been few from the very word go till today. Our own age will never be an exception. From the days of Noah, they were always few. How many? Eight! Days of Lot, how many? Three! Rahab’s house, how many did a room contain? Will our own age be an exception? No way.
The survivors have always been few, always been few. So, strive that you be among that few.
That is why The Almighty God in our midst said, “Strive and run this race in such a way and manner that you will obtain a prize. Do not run in a way and manner that in the end, you will not obtain the prize; the trophy; the coveted crown.
Did you run the race? Yes! At the end what did you get? Empty-handed! May God forbid!
Saint Paul said, “I kept myself under strict control while running this race lest after helping others to get saved, I myself will be a castaway”. May God forbid!
Life is full of insults and assaults. There are times when hardly a day goes by without one trying to undermine or hurt us in some way. And the devil is fighting us tooth and nail, planting unbelieve in us to doubt God and His promises to us.
The sources of harm are countless. We might find ourselves the victim of a crime, betrayed by a spouse, brother, sister or deceived by a friend. But with God, we are comforted and encouraged on daily basis. With the Word of His mouth to be grounded and rooted in Him come what may.
Any promise you do not believe, you will never realize that promise. But if you believe, you shall realize it for with God, all things are possible and in Him, His promises are “Ye” and “Amen”.
“Now, he that made the statement said, “It is true, faithful and worthy of all acceptation. Put it on record that this statement can never fail.” The Promise can never fail, for all the Promises of God, in Him are yea and Amen. It is final. Yes! And the angel said, “Lo, it is Done.” It is already done. It is finished. It has become a finished matter.
But to you, who do not believe, well, I say, “Continue in your unbelief. Turn with me to the same Message; Page 102 Vs 3-5 “God is the One speaking from His Throne concerning this solemn promise, Who are you to annul it. The truth is that many do not belong to God, but they are merely following the people of God, simply because they have seen the blessings that follow them because they belong to God. You see them volunteering.
For if you really belong to God and you are a Seed of God, what is being read this morning will set your heart aflame.
This is a true saying. He that made the statement said, “Put it down in writing. Put It on record. Record it either in your heart or in your jotter.”
Let us get it from the Scriptures, 2 CORINTHIANS 1:22 “By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete”. MSG
LB “He has put His brand upon us—His mark of ownership—and given us His Holy Spirit in our hearts as guarantee that we belong to Him and as the first instalment of all that He is going to give us”.
EPHESIANS 1:13-14 MSG It’s in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free—signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit.
This signet from God is the first instalment on what’s coming, a reminder that we’ll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life.
AMP “In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the first fruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it–to the praise of His glory”.
Turn with me again to the Message; ARE YOU SURE AND CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE IN THE NUMBER SAVED BY GOD’S ELECTION OF GRACE? Vol.1 Page 139 Vs 48-56 “Let everyone. No minus. We are all included. You and I named after Christ should depart from every evil, iniquity [something we know we should not do and we should not try to attempt it], for there is no good way of doing a wrong thing and still retain Christ’s identity. No! No!
THE MOMENT YOU BEGIN TO WALK CONTRARY TO THE REVEALED TRUTH THAT WAS GIVEN TO YOU, YOU HAVE LOST YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST.
MAN’S INABILITY TO DEPART FROM HIS OLD WAYS OF LIFE HAS MADE LIFE A LIVING HELL TO MANY. MAN’S INABILITY TO ACCEPT A CHANGE INTRODUCED TO HIM BY THE ALMIGHTY HAS MADE LIFE A LIVING HELL FIRE TO MANY.
Check all who claim they go to church but continue in their old sinful lifestyle. Check to see whether life is not a living hell to all of them.
After hearing this truth and we remain as we were, we have received the greatest condemnation from God.
But when we receive this truth and adjust positively to this truth, we have redeemed our life. I say, we have redeemed our life from eternal damnation. Our life will not be the same again. You will now begin to regret the wasted years you roamed in iniquity – years you spent in vanity.
Any year; any period you spend outside Christ is a time; a year and anything spent in vanity. It is vanity of all vanities. Wasted effort. Wasted time. Wasted money. Wasted everything!
Children that are raised in idolatry are wasted children. Husband, wasted. Labour spent or expended in serving a devil in the form of a husband, wasted, for you are parting whether you like it or not.
That is why God said, “You have no father, mother, husband, children or anything, except in Christ.” Whatever you are having outside Christ, automatically has started failing. Brethren, is it a lie?
Is there anything that is still standing? Only Christ is standing now. And He is standing, not in the world, but in His Abode with His Family. God has gone back to His Family. It is now a family call.
The same Message; Page 149 Vs 17-18 “As long as this Word of God is concerned, believing is a must that we must believe. Manifesting, a must. God cannot input your wife’s righteousness to you or your own to your wife. Everybody is striving, both man and woman.
The women are equally blind, for they have not even believed the Scriptures to the point the LORD Jesus wanted them to believe, which says that there must be a parting in the end”.
The Almighty God plainly told us that, “You have no wife, you have no husband, you have no child, you have no brother and you have no sister except in Christ.
Also Let us hear Jesus Christ replied to the people In the Book of LUKE 8:19-21 “His mother and brothers showed up but couldn’t get through to him because of the crowd. He was given the message, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside wanting to see you.”
He replied, “My mother and brothers are the ones who hear and do God’s Word. Obedience is thicker than blood.”
AMP “Then Jesus’ mother and His brothers came along toward Him, but they could not get to Him because of the crowd. And it was told Him, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to have an interview with You. But He answered them, My mother and My brothers are those who listen to the Word of God and do it”.
Because at the end, there must be a parting if we are not all found in Christ by obeying Him and following His precepts. Because obedience is better than sacrifice. Prophet Samuel and the Lord Jesus Christ also confirmed this in the Holy Scriptures!
1 SAMUEL15:22-23 “Then Samuel said, Do you think all GOD wants are sacrifices—empty rituals just for show? He wants you to listen to him! Plain listening is the thing, not staging a lavish religious production.
Not doing what GOD tells you is far worse than fooling around in the occult. Getting self-important around GOD is far worse than making deals with your dead ancestors. Because you said No to GOD’s command, he says No to your kingship”. MSG
AMP “Samuel said, Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim (household good luck images)! Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king”.
MATTHEW 12:50 “Obedience is thicker than blood. The person who obeys my heavenly Father’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” MSG
AMP “For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother”.
PSALM 119:63 “I’m a friend and companion of all who fear you, of those committed to living by your rules”. MSG
AMP “I am a companion of all those who fear, revere, and worship You, and of those who observe and give heed to Your precepts”.

God’s promise stands sure from generation to generation. God has always remained faithful to His promise. The most unfortunate thing we are encountering is that people think that the promises of God are for everybody. The promises of God are for the people of God only. Anybody who is not a child of God is never concerned in the promises of God. And the people of God have never been tired while waiting for His promise.

We Turn over again to the Message; ARE YOU SURE AND CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE IN THE NUMBER SAVED BY GOD’S ELECTION OF GRACE? Vol.2 Page 87 Vs 20-21.

”Why then do people doubt God’s promises and believe the devil. People fear the devil more than God. They respect the devil more than God. They honour devil more than God.
Tell these wicked men and women among us that somebody summoned them to their village shrine, you see them panicking. Secretly they will go there. Some go by night”.
Saints of God, let us conduct our affairs in the fear and reverential worship to God and God alone.
Remember, this is the time we are asked to strengthen and encourage ourselves with nothing but God’s Word and His unfailing promises to us. The title of this little exhortation is, “STRENGTHEN ONE ANOTHER WITH GOD’S WORD AND HIS UNFAILING PROMISES OH! FEW DESPISED SAINTS OF GOD”. Amen.
Let us continue with this Message; ARE YOU SURE AND CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE IN THE NUMBER SAVED BY GOD’S ELECTION OF GRACE? Vol.2 Page 93 Vs 36. “Brethren, God does that which He says he will do.
If God has spoken, your duty is to say Amen and wait for it. It will never come back void”.
The same Message; Page 116 Vs 36-39. “May be because you have not seen the resurrection. The resurrection is taking place generally and globally in one day. It is not even a day’s affair. It is a one-second affair. And that is what every Elect of God is expecting right now.
IF YOU ARE EXPECTING ANY OTHER THING OTHER THAN THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD AND YOUR IMMORTAL BODY, IT THEN MEANS YOU ARE BLIND TO THE HOUR YOU ARE IN.
NOTHING IS LEFT EXCEPT THIS TWO. AND THIS TWO WILL TAKE PLACE IN A TWINKLING OF AN EYE—IN ONE SECOND.
Do you need further preparations? No! Why? He has given to you all things pertaining to life and godliness that you may be able to attain His divine nature. He has showcased His divine nature.
He has been living with you all this while. Through His Message, He has made His requirements known to all mankind.
You are without excuse. No further notice shall be given. We have received enough notice. True or false?” Perfect true Sir!
The same Message; Page 119 Vs 44-48. When every hope is lost; when many have grown tired; when prophecies have been ridiculed; when the prophets must have been laughed at and mocked; All these years, he promised He will do this and that, He even promised He will return. What is holding Him? What is He waiting for? Please you people should forget about this thing o. It will not happen again.
When everybody has grown tired of waiting, the Bridegroom will appear. Only those whose hearts are made ready will enter. The rest, no matter how virginous they might be; how sanctimonious they might be, they will be declared unqualified.
Whatever might be your reason, it is unacceptable. Once you miss it, you have missed it. Narrowly can never kill a bird.
KNOWING THAT NO OTHER NOTICE SHALL BE GIVEN TO YOU, WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU AND I IS NOTHING BUT TO BE READY AT ALL TIMES, FOR AT A TIME WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECTED, IT SHALL BE ALL OVER.
Remember, He that is watching over you with tender mercy, tender kindness, tenderly love, knows when He is going to wrap it up. He is watching everybody’s reaction and everybody’s movement. He is not too far from us. Is He too far from us?” Not at all!
God said that we are not at the concluding side of this Ministry, but we have come to the end. And if He (God) terminates it now, will anybody be surprised?
But the only thing needed from all of us at a time like this is to be ready at all times and be sure and certain that we are in the number saved by God’s election of Grace.
For that reason let us keep on encouraging and strengthening ourselves with these words we have been receiving from Him and His unfailing promises to His true elects.
ROMANS 9:6: “Well then, has God failed to fulfil his promises to the Jews? No! For these promises are only to those who are truly Jews. And not everyone born into a Jewish family is truly a Jew!”
MSG. “Don’t suppose for a moment, though, that God’s Word has malfunctioned in some way or other. The problem goes back a long way. From the outset, not all Israelites of the flesh were Israelites of the spirit.”
AMP. “However, it is not as though God’s Word had failed [coming to nothing], for it is not everybody who is a descendant of Jacob (Israel) who belongs to [the true] Israel!”
The same Message; Page 129 Vs 18: “So, there is always a great difference between one that is born of promise and one that is born according to the desire of the flesh.
Anybody that is born according to the flesh must persecute one that is born of the promise, which is a spirit”.
Turn again with me to the Message; ARE YOU SURE AND CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE IN THE NUMBER SAVED BY GOD’S ELECTION OF GRACE? Vol.3 Page 81 Vs 13-14.“Whatever He is promising is for His own people only.
So, we must be alert to our responsibility towards our God, our loving and caring Father.
KEEP NO SECRET FROM HIM BECAUSE YOU KNOW DEEP DOWN IN YOU THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE HIDDEN FROM HIM. FOR EVERYTHING IS PLAIN BEFORE HIM. NO HIDING PLACE”.
The same Message, Page 124 Vs 15-20: “And now, we have rolled gradually into troublous times where it has become increasingly difficult for people to maintain godly confessions of their Faith steadfastly without wavering for one day, if not Christ that has appeared. I am not talking of one week.
And in this waiting, we do not diminish one bit. Thank God we recognized that from the time of the promise to the time of the fulfilment, there must be a period of waiting.
When He gave the promise to Abraham, He never fulfilled it immediately. Abraham had to wait for twenty good years. You see why He gave us the Message that WE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE.
When our obedience is fulfilled, we will get the promise. God is not the God of “Wait and take”. Between the period the promise went forth to the period of its fulfillment, there must be a period of waiting.
It is during this period of waiting that many deny the Faith of Christ. Many wander away. Many begin to think that God is slack in fulfilling the promise. Rebellion will arise. People will begin to jump into the world.
Some will say, “God is no longer mindful of His word”. Many many things will happen, like it is happening today”.
In conclusion, turn with me to the Message; Thumbprint Vol.2 Preached ON Sunday 10^th July, 2022 AT THE VOICE OF GOD STUDIO The Bridal Lodge, Nsugbe Anambra State, Nigeria BY THE SON OF MAN Apostle Peter Odoemena The Fountain of Living Waters. Page 88 Vs 71-79.
“Then to the righteous, one glimpse of His face, all their sorrows will erase. It will be worth it all when we enter Paradise.
The sorrows we are passing here, pains and anguish we are passing through will be nothing to compare with the joys of paradise when we shall be clothed with our new bodies in the new heaven and the new earth.
In the Message “LO, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW”, God promised to give us a new heart, a new spirit, a new body. Then we will dwell in the new heaven and the new earth, for He will not put a new wine inside an old bottle.
SIN MUST BE ERADICATED. RIGHTEOUSNESS MUST REIGN. GOD AND HIS PEOPLE WILL REIGN IN RIGHTEOUSNESS WITH A NEW HEART, A NEW SPIRIT AND A NEW BODY.
If it is not promised in the Scriptures, then it will not happen. The book of Ezekiel promised it.
Ezekiel 36:26, KJV. ²⁶A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my Statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
THE LORD IS GOING TO GIVE US A NEW HEART AND A NEW SPIRIT THAT WILL BE RECEPTIVE TO GOD’S WORD. BY THEN, HE MUST HAVE TAKEN AWAY THE STONY HEART – THE HEART OF UNBELIEF.
He promised He will give us our new bodies, where we will not die or feel pains or sickness any more. It will be life everlasting.
He promised to give us a new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness and peace forever and ever. By then the cycle is completed. A new man, a new heart. A new spirit, a new body. A new earth, a new heaven.

HEAR ME VERY WELL. FORTUNATE AND TO BE ENVIED IS THAT PERSON WHOM THE LORD WILL HELP GRACIOUSLY TILL THE END, TO BECOME A PARTAKER AND A POSSESSOR OF THIS ETERNAL PROMISE.
BLESSED, HAPPY, FORTUNATE AND TO BE ENVIED, IS THAT PERSON [MAN OR WOMAN], WHOM THE LORD ALMIGHTY WILL COUNT WORTHY TO BE HELPED AND ASSISTED GRACIOUSLY TO BECOME A PARTAKER AND POSSESSOR OF THIS GLORIOUS, SUPREME PROMISE WHICH [TO GOD HIMSELF] WILL BE HIS SUPREME ACHIEVEMENT”. Amen!
Saints of God, there is nothing left than what we are asked to do by the Almighty God Himself in our midst, which is continuing in all we have been taught, keeping pace with the present stage of the Ministry, studying and praying at all times and lastly we should keep on encouraging and strengthening ourselves using nothing but His word and His unfailing promises to us all, if only we believe and practice all we have heard from the throne of grace.
May Allah continue to uphold us in this pathway of truth and may our light in Him continue to glow unceasingly till we are clothed with our immortal body. Amen.
