TAKE OIL IN YOUR VESSEL Preached on SUNDAY 4th JULY 1993 At THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD ONITSHA By APOSTLE PETER ODOEMENA THE SON OF MAN “THE SUPREME INTELLIGENCE”“Truth has no substitute” © BRIDE OF CHRIST MINISTRY WORLD-WIDE
If you are carrying the Bible, you will never know this one. Jesus never knew this one. The Apostles never knew this one. But the Son of Man, in whose generation you are, is the Hidden Revealer. We are living in the days of the Son of Man and not in the days of the Apostles. This is the day of the Son of Man. He is to tell you what God has in stock for you. He alone knows the way of escape for all mankind, for He has come as an Angel of Judgment and at the same time as a Messenger who holds the full and complete salvation to give to those who have been eagerly and patiently waiting for Him. Not everybody. I am not dealing with sin. Jesus Christ has finished with sin. I am here for My own mission which He had already alerted the world and they were in expectation.

BUILD YOUR HOUSE UPON THE ROCK
There is a message I thought I would bring to the Church this morning. Let me tell you; just this morning, this one came. I had to leave that of yesterday for another time. You know, it is always spiritual food in due season. The season must be due for the particular food for that food to come in that season.
2) You get what I am saying? You get what I am saying? Amen. So, please, while I was there, I tell you, I saw myself almost dead as I was going through the scriptures. I am telling you.
3) So, please pay attention. I believe the Lord will help us to see why it seems as if to say He hasn’t done so much in our individual lives. This morning, if He opens our eyes, then we will be able to see and perceive, and then be able to achieve it. Amen.
4) So, this morning we are looking into something I decided to call, ‘TAKE OIL IN YOUR VESSEL.’ Matthew 25: 1-17. I know the prophet must have preached it I believe he preached a message concerning the ten virgins or the foolish virgins.
5) I must confess that I have not actually laid hands on any sermon books having exact pages on the five wise and five foolish virgins. No, but by his grace, the word of God is the word of God. Watch the scriptures, ten virgins.
6) Number one, they were all virgins. There was no prostitute. There was no harlot. They were not adulterating. They were not adulterous. They were keeping to their virginity. They had not been messed up. Amen.
7) They were virgins, ten of them. The bible says, these ten virgins now had to go to a marriage feast and while they were all there, the bible tells us that the five of them were wise and five were foolish.
8) Those that were wise took extra oil in their vessels. They all had lamps. Every one of them had a lamp. Then the five that were foolish took no oil with them. But the five that were wise took oil in their vessels. Amen.
9) Be attentive. I believe God is going to take us to another dimension tonight. And if He does that, and we remain there and then settle there, I tell you, you will see Jesus in you. You will see Jesus in you, once again going about. I say, I find myself almost dead, when the thing was realized, the reality dawned on me.
10) I understood what I am going to tell you now. I said, ‘God have mercy. I believe You will help us.’ Five of them were wise and they took oil in their vessels. Five, wise. Matthew 7:24. Five were wise, five were foolish, ‘Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not. For it was founded upon a rock.’
11) That was the Lord Jesus Christ Himself describing the wise. Are you getting me? The Lord Jesus describing the wise. So, anybody hearing what he was saying and goes about doing it, he likened him to a man that was wise.
12) Verse 26, ‘And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man.’
13) Remember, five of the virgins were wise, five were foolish. Now, the Lord is giving us the picture of a foolish man and a wise man. A foolish man who built his house upon the sand and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell. And great was the fall of it. Amen.
14) Stop at verse 27. The Lord has shown us the picture of two people; one, wise; the other foolish. And in our text, there were ten of them, virgins; five wise, five foolish. And Jesus said; that man that was wise, built a house. The man that was foolish also built a house. Did you hear that? You read that in the scriptures where we read. Ehn! Yes. The man that was wise built his house. The man that was foolish also built his house.
15) The five virgins that were wise went to the marriage feast, were waiting for the bridegroom to come. The five virgins that were foolish were also waiting for the Bridegroom to come.
16) Are you getting it? Alright, now, this man that was wise in building his house, there was something about what he did, the bible said he built his house upon a rock. He dug the foundation deep and built the house upon the rock that will not be shaken; will not be moved.
17) The quality of that wisdom was this man’s ability to lay his foundation right. Are you getting me? And then he continued the building. His ability to lay the foundation right and strongly was wisdom.
18) The foolish one who equally built a house, where was the foolishness seen? In the foundation, foundation making. Are you getting something? In the foundation making. This one is built in foolishness. That one is built in wisdom.
19) But he is saying these things were typing somebody hearing His word and doing it and somebody hearing His word and not doing it.
20) So, the doing of the word was the wisdom. And there was something in the doing of it. And in not doing the word was the foolishness.
21) And there was something in not doing of it. watch, and watch, the Lord said, ‘Wind came, flood came, wind blew, and it could not pull down that house that was strongly built.’
22) The Lord said, ‘The wind blew and the house that was poorly founded was pulled down.’ And the bible said, ‘And great was the fall of it.’ Foolish, wise.
23) The five foolish, they never enjoyed that marriage feast. Did you see that? The five foolish, they never enjoyed that marriage feast. All the feasting there, they never partook because the door was already shut.
24) Are you getting it? Alright, but the wise and that man now that was foolish in laying the foundation of his house, remember, he built his house finally. He built it but that house, did it sustain? Did it remain? He built ooo, Alright, we are going.
25) Let us turn to Proverbs 24:9, “The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.”
26) The thought of foolishness is sin. What am I saying? Or what is the scripture saying? Foolishness is not to be commended.
27) The bible says, out of foolishness, you have sinned. The thought of foolishness is sin. So, the man that built his house upon the sand, not having a strong foundation was he right? Did he do well? Has he any excuse? It was sinful.
28) It was sinful because, actually he has given an impression that the house was well furnished, well decorated, well built, everything was there. And people could go in and the house will fall upon them and destroy them.
29) It was sin. Luke 24:25. The bible says, Jesus talking to the two men going to Emmaus, and he says, I read, “Then he said unto them, oh foolish ones or fools, as low of heart to believe all that the prophet has spoken.”
30) I want you to be intelligent this morning to get scriptures together to understand scriptures.
31) Jesus said to them, they were reasoning and they were going to Emmaus after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
32) They said, “Ah, we have looked forward to this man redeeming us from the hands of the gentiles, the Romans, but you see three days ago now he was crucified and buried.
33) We will be looking forward to that. So we are all lost,” yet, they have been seeing it; it is there in the scriptures they have been reading in the synagogue, that he won’t see corruption. Amen.
34) That he will not be allowed to see corruption and his soul will never be left in hell; that the third day he will arise. Jesus condemned them.
35) In other words, they were sinners not to have believed, slow of heart and understanding to believe all that the prophet has spoken; wise and foolish.
36) Getting rid of doubt is wisdom brethren, believing it, hearkening to it, doing of it, is wisdom. Outside that, it is foolishness.
37) Don’t worry; leave your heart as it is. We are going somewhere.
38) The builders, both of them built, the men Jesus illustrated with. All of us here, I don’t know whether there are some wise men and some foolish men. Amen.
……when you know the Source of the Spoken Word, that the Source of Spoken Word is the Message of God sent to you in your day, happy are you. That He has become a human being, living among you, married with children, is not deviating from the order; It has been God’s way from the beginning. … While I am here, I am the Light of the world; Whoever follows Me can never grope in darkness. Take Me away, you are living in darkness and you must stumble: I say, you must stumble because I am paving the way for you. Did you get what I said? No matter the way you look at it, across the other way, you cannot hear another voice than the One you are hearing now. All that have been privileged to be taken over to the other side, they never heard any other voice than the Voice of the Bridegroom that is speaking in our midst. Are you getting what I am saying?……

THE WORD OF GOD IS A LAMP
I don’t know whether there are some wise virgins and some foolish virgins in this Church.
2. Remember they are all virgins. They are not having denominationalism; adulterated, no. Are you getting me? Are you getting somewhere? They are not having the doctrine of men.
3. They were virgins, but five were wise, five were foolish. Likewise those two men were both men, not that one was a man and the other one a woman. No. Two of them were men and the two of them built houses.
4. You heard the word of God, ‘called out’ you and me; we have been called out as virgins.
5. All have desired for the Bridegroom to come. Is it not our portion? Is it not our condition right now? Are you confused? Is this not our condition right now? Are we not waiting for the Bridegroom to appear in the sky and we will be wedded with him up there; married proper?
6. That is not millennium. We will be with Him there. We will be ruptured. We join him up there, wedding in glory before we all come down here; a millennium. Amen.
7. Is that not the scripture? Okay. Then don’t be confused; don’t look as if to say you are confused. It is there in the bible.
8. That is our condition. I am asking again, are there some foolish ones with us, in our midst, here? You, me and then are there some wise ones? All are waiting for the Bridegroom to come.
9. And the bible tells me that we as such people are having our lamps like those ten virgins.
10. I hope you understand we are virgins? Do you understand that? Virgins of the Word. Is it not true? Show that you understand me.
11. They were all having their lamps. What is a lamp brethren?
12. Psalm 119:105, somebody read while another person reads Proverbs 6:23. Psalm 119:105, ‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.’ Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
13. Proverbs 6:23, ‘For thy commandment is a lamp, and thy law is light and thy reproofs of instruction are the way of life.’ Amen. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
14. For the commandment is a lamp and the law is light and the reproofs of instruction are the way of life. What is that lamp? What is that lamp that these virgins had?
15. And they were waiting for the Bridegroom to come. The bible said that the Word, the Word of God is the Lamp. The Word of God, the commandment of the God is the Lamp.
16. Take it slowly, carefully, to get somewhere. Remember my topic: ‘TAKE OIL IN YOUR VESSEL.’
17. In proverbs, the commandment is a lamp. Whose commandment? The Lord’s commandment for the word of God is a lamp.
18. So, the lamp is the word of God. Then, the bible said that the five foolish ones did not take any oil but the five wise ones took oil in their vessels. They all had lamps.
19. Then the wise ones had oil in their vessels. The foolish ones did not have oil in their vessels. What is that vessel that the five wise ones had oil in? What is that vessel?
YOU ARE A VESSEL
20. 2nd Timothy 2:19-21, Romans 9:14-24. You will read it. 2nd Timothy 2:19-21, ‘Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His and,
21. let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
22. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth and some to honour and some to dishonor.
23. If a man therefore purge himself from this, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use and prepared unto every good work.’ Amen.
24. Romans 9:14-24, ‘What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
25. For he said to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
26. So, then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.
27. For the scriptures said unto Pharaoh, even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
28. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom He will He hardeneth.
29. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? Who hath resisted His will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God?
30. Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
31. What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
32. And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he hath afore prepared unto glory. Even us, whom he has called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?’ Amen.
33. What is that vessel? In 2nd Timothy 2:19, it says in a great house, there are many vessels. Do you have a house greater than God’s own House? In a great house there are many vessels; some to honour, some to dishonour.
34. It says, if a man, therefore purge himself from this, he would be a vessel unto honour, sanctified and fit for the master’s use.
35. A man is a vessel. You are a vessel. I am a vessel.
36. In Romans 9:21, the bible said what? “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
37. What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction”?
38. Are you getting it that God endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath?
39. Maybe God is enduring with longsuffering ordinary basin in your house, ordinary plates and cups. These are the vessels in your house and these are the things that God has endured and with longsuffering? Are you believing it to be that? Are you taking it to be that? No.
40. These vessels of wrath unto destruction are human beings; men and women.
41. He said to Pharaoh, “For this purpose, I have raised you up that I might show my power.”
42. Pharaoh was a vessel of wrath God endured with longsuffering because He took His time in making Pharaoh and yet He knew he was going to destroy him; to let the world know His ability and His power.
43. It took him time; it took him some energy; it took him something to make Pharaoh, yet he had to be endured.
44. It was a longsuffering because, how can you deliver a child and see the child burning in fire and you will bear it? It is not easy. It is not easy God allowing people to be destroyed. He passed through longsuffering.
45. So, it was not funny on the path of God to see Pharaoh being destroyed that the world might fear before God. Pharaoh was a vessel.
46. Now, these virgins, the Bible said the five wise ones, they took oil in their vessels, in their bodies, in them as human beings. Okay, we are going. We will understand it better soon.
47. Remember the lamp is the Word of God; then the five wise ones, they took oil in their vessels. What is that oil brethren? We have seen that vessel, what it is. Your body; my body.
48. You see what that vessel is, your body, my body, you and me. Then the bible said, they took oil, the wise ones took oil in their vessels. Amen.
SO IF YOU ARE NOT LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, YOU ARE NOT A SEED OF GOD. THE WORD OF GOD, CHRIST IS THE SURE ANCHOR THAT HOLDS EVERY SEED OF GOD AGAINST ERROR, AGAINST SIN, AGAINST EVIL, AND THAT IS, WHEN THE WORD IS ABIDING IN YOU. THE WORD BECOMES YOUR POLICE MAN.
YOU MUST BE BORN AGAN. PREACHED ON 27TH JANUARY,2019. Pg.36 Vs.76

THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS THE OIL
What is that oil? Somebody turn to Zachariah 4:2-6. Somebody else turn to Exodus 27:20 and Leviticus 24:1-4. Zachariah 4:2-6, ‘And said unto me, What seeth thou?
2. And I said, ‘I have looked, and behold a candle stick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof.
3. And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side thereof.
4. So, I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
5. Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
6. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbbabel saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts.’ Amen.
7. That was Zerubbabel. He saw something. There was a lamp and there was light and there was a path leading to the lamp. The lamp was burning showing forth light, beaming out light. Amen.
8. This man wondered but you know Zerubbabel was out to do some job. Am I right? Alright. God showing that, the vessel, what is it?
9. You see in verse 6, ‘This job you have come to do is not by power; it is not by might, but by the Spirit of the living God.’
10. Now, the oil that was being supplied by the pipes to the lamps is that Spirit of the Living God doing the job.
11. Without the oil supplied to the lamps, there can’t be any burning, there can’t be any light. I want you to get something.
12. I said by His grace we will understand something. We get up to a certain level. And when we are there and settled there, certainly, you must manifest Jesus, I must manifest Jesus. Amen.[
13. Now, read, Exodus 27: 20, ‘And thou shall command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.’ Amen.
14. Olive oil, pure, Everybody, sit down right now. Stop distracting. And you elderly ones ignore them. Amen.
15. That they bring before thee pure olive oil beaten for the light to cause the lamp to burn always. Are you getting it? Not to cause the lamp to burn for a season.
16. It said, ‘PURE OLIVE OIL TO CAUSE THE LAMP TO BURN ALWAYS.’ Amen. All the Children of Israel, pure olive oil for the lamps in the sanctuary, in the altar, to burn always.
17. Leviticus 24:1-4, ‘And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.
18. Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually:’ second continually,
19. ‘It shall be a statute forever in your generations. He shall order the lamps upon the pure candle sticks before the Lord continually.’ The third, ‘continually’. Amen.
20. Pure olive oil, beaten for the lamp, for the night, to cause the lamp to burn. Without the vail will the lamp give any burning? Without the oil will the lamp give any light?
21. You may have millions of lamps yet without the pure olive oil beaten for the lamps, the lamps are useless.
22. But we have established from the scriptures that the lamp is the Word of God. Have the thought in you right now to gain something.
23. We are going into business. I screamed; I tell you. We have established the word of God to be that lamp the virgins were carrying. Alright!
24. This lamp has to burn continually from morning to night; from night to morning continually. Without the oil, there cannot be any light.
25. We have also seen from the scriptures that that oil is the Holy Ghost. I believe you all see where I am going. I believe it. Now without the oil, the lamp cannot give any light.
26. Without the Holy Ghost, no matter the amount of the Word of God you have memorized, you have stored up in you, you will still be a carnal man. I will still be a carnal man. Have you seen our problem? Alright! Let us continue.
27. The lamp must burn continually and something must cause it to burn continually and that thing is the oil and that oil, we have seen it; it is the Holy Ghost.
28. So, those wise virgins, they had the oil in their vessels. We have established it, that vessel is the body; you and me. The Lamp is the Word of God. Oil is the Holy Ghost. The wise virgins, they had the Holy Ghost in their bodies, in themselves.
29. They also had the Lamp, the Word of God. The bible says, all were sleeping but once it was sounded, “Behold the Bridegroom cometh,” the oil was there, the Holy Ghost, to quicken the word of God to give that light.
30. Are we getting it? Let’s continue Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. And He is burning continually.
31. John 3:34, ‘For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God. For God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him.’
32. God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him whom He hath sent. Jesus Christ received this oil, this anointing oil, withoutmeasure. He received that without measure. You will see now what it did in him.
33. That is why Jesus is still burning till today, giving light and then men and women are seeing through Jesus Christ. Amen.
34. You come to the light. That light is Jesus Christ; the source of the power to burn does not quench; it does not go out. It is without measure. You cannot measure it. So, you cannot limit it. It has no end. It burns continually.
35. Hebrew1:9, ‘Thou has loved righteousness and hated iniquity, therefore God, even thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.’
36. You see now, giving credence still to the fact that that oil is the Holy Ghost. It says, ‘Your God has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.’
37. That is why Jesus could never be equalled. That is why he was never equalled. Nobody could compete with him because he is God, having the Spirit of God without measure.
38. Weare seeing here that he was anointed with the oil of gladness above his fellows. His own anointing was without measure.
39. Remember, in the beginning was the word and that word was God and that word was made flesh. And then the Anointing, the Spirit without measure; the Oil.
40. It says, “He was anointed above all His fellows.” The anointing is without measure; the Spirit He received without measure was upon him, supplying that lamp, giving eternal Light.
41. That Light is burning continually in the world; the Light of men; the Light of men. You then see why Jesus is Lord.
42. You then see why He is Lord. See why He is Light of the world. His own can never be quenched. There was a Source; the Spirit without measure; anointing above His fellows with the oil of gladness combined with the Spirit He received without measure.
43. No other prophet received the same amount of spirit as Jesus. He was the epitome. He was the spirit made flesh. Are you getting it? So, without measure; the prophets had the spirit in portions, but his own is without measure. Are you getting something?
44. And now, He is shining continually; the Light of the world; he is the Light of men too. Now, we are saying that we are His; we are saying that we are His.
45. Yesterday, when we were operating in the theatre, something occurred to me. I started talking to the student nurses that were there. I said you see now, they said, “Nganga na egbu ha egbu ebe ha nwere eze “Jesus” [They are filled with pride because they have king Jesus]”.
46. Then, I kept asking, “How can one have Jesus and become a proud fellow?” Was Jesus a proud fellow? Since Jesus Christ was not known through pride; why should you be known through pride?” Does it balance up at all? Church, does it balance up? It does not add up.
47. And I am saying, if that Light shines continually and it is the Light of men, and we are men and women and we have come to Him, I am saying we are having that Light that is shining continually. Shouldn’t you and I shine continually? Okay, keep it there.
48. I want to show us a mystery. I saw it; I want us to see it. Somebody turn to Exodus 30:22-33, I want you all to be lively. I see you are all very poor in responding to reading.
49. ‘Moreover the Lord spake unto moses saying, ‘Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrr five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels,
50. and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels, and of cassia, five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:
51. and thou shall make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.
52. And thou shall anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, and the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.
53. And thou shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.
54. And thou shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
55. And thou shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.
56. Upon man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.
57. Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.’ Amen.
58. In the Old Testament, Moses based on what God said, told them that in the sanctuary, the olive oil, pure oil, should be prepared.
59. Then told them how the pure oil, olive oil should be used. It says, ‘And thou shall make it an oil of holy ointment; an ointment after the art of apothecary. ’
60. It should be a holy anointing oil; anointing oil, holy in order to anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith and the ark of the testimony. The tabernacle had to be anointed; the Ark of the testimony had to be anointed; the table and all its vessels; the lamp stand; the order of incense; the order of burnt offerings; the laver and its foot, sanctify them that they maybe most holy.
61. Whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy. Then, anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office. Who may worship? The anointed; the holy.
62. We have seen that anointing signifies fire; signifies the HolyGhost and oil is the Holy Ghost. In the Old Testament, God was typing something that will come before you and me that is present now;
63. that in that sanctuary, everything from A-Z had to be anointed. It said the sanctuary, the table, the laver containing water, water of separation; everything; anoint them all. Then, anoint Aaron and Aaron’s sons to be priests to minister to me in the priest’s office.
64. Brother and Sister, anybody not anointed could not minster in the priest’s office. It said, ‘Go and anoint all these vessels in the sanctuary; that it should be most holy; anything touching any of these things that are anointed becomes holy automatically.
65. Did you get something there? Did you get something there? Let’s continue. Now it said, ‘The stranger should not have it.
66. The stranger cannot have that anointing. Anyone anointing the stranger will be killed.’ Alright!.
67. Brethren, watch it now. Jesus said in the Book of John 4:23 that God is a Spirit; they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
68. You get it, you read it fast. Something is happening now. Please, don’t lose sight of what we are saying.
69. ‘But the hour cometh, and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh much to worship Him.
70. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.’
71. Now, look the oil that was used to anoint those things in the Old Testament, we are seeing it in the New Testament.
I mean that Son will also be their God. That is why He was called Mighty God and Everlasting Father. If we have one Everlasting Father and somebody says that he is the Everlasting Father, where will his own generation start and then end? Can we have two Everlasting Fathers? No, only one everlasting God and Father who is Christ. Then that Father dwelleth in God and that God tabernacles in Himself. He made for Himself a flesh wherein He tabernacles. No wonder Jesus Christ was able to tell the people saying, “The work that I do, they are not my own work but that of my Father who dwelleth in Me.”
Behold your God Cometh preached on 7th Jun,1997; page 3:12-13

YOU MUST BE ANOINTED BEFORE WORSHIP
Now the hour has come that they that worship God must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Amen. Are you seeing something? Anything, any man not anointed couldn’t minister in the priest’s office; couldn’t.
2. Aaron and his sons; a stranger should not be anointed; should not. That is why the Holy Ghost said in John 4:23, that they that worship God must worship Him inSpirit and in truth.
3. We have seen it saying that the hour has come that they that worship God must worship Him in spirit and in truth because God is a Spirit.
4. For you to worship God, you must have that anointing to minister to Him. You see we read it in the scriptures, ‘We are a royal priesthood,
5. Supposing we are all anointed because without being anointed, you can never serve in the priest’s office. Are you getting something?
6. Then a stranger can never be anointed. With that same oil now, since God is a Spirit, now that same oil is telling you, in John 4 that that oil that was used to anoint all things in the sanctuary is the Holy Spirit.
7. But now for you to worship God, you must be filled with the Holy Ghost; you see why we are dragging.
8. You must be anointed with the Holy Ghost to go in to ministration. And you are ministering as a sister in your life; you are also ministering as a brother in your life. I am not saying that ministering is only standing behind the pulpit. No. It is not that.
9. The bible said we are a chosen generation; a royal priesthood. Then we must be anointed as Aaron and his sons were anointed with oil, pure olive oil.
10. And Jesus said this time is the hour; it has come. It is not the hour of going to anoint the vessels in the sanctuary with pure olive oil, no. This is not the hour again. The hour has come; the hour has come.
11. All those spiritual men were pointing to this hour (for it has now come) that we must worship Him in spirit and in truth and we must be anointed like those vessels that were used in the House of God; that were anointed with olive oil.
12. We must be anointed too and that is the Holy Ghost. Read Ephesians 2:18 and get Chapter 5:18 & 19, ‘For through him we both have access by one spirit unto the Father.
13. Now, therefore, ye are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the Household of God.’
14. Ephesians 5:18-19, ‘And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the spirit;
15. speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.’ Amen.
16. Now, I tell you those vessels were saturated with the anointing oil. Are you hearing me? Alright! Now, the bible says, they are by one Spirit baptized into one body.
17. It says, ‘For through him, we all have access by one spirit unto the Father.’ You see it now, giving credence again to what Jesus said in John 4: 23-24; the hour has come brethren ooo!
18. Brethren, the hour has come that we must worship God in Spirit and in truth. If Holy Ghost is not there, it is false service untoGod.
19. I was sick; when it dawned on me like that; I was over there. I am telling you; I tried to see whether I was purposely doing what I was doing.
20. I found out I wasn’t. I am telling you. The hour has come that we are baptized, that we might have access unto the Father by one Spirit; capital ‘S’, is it not like that in your bible? That is the Holy Spirit.
21. You see now, how then you find out that it is the Father releasing the oil; the Holy Spirit is coming and you are having access. He is coming; he is coming, he is coming and we should keep on burning. Amen.
22. All the vessels, as I was saying were saturated with that anointing oil. You see it now.
23. Therefore, Ephesians 5:18 says, ‘Be not drunk; be not drunk, be not drunk with wine in which is excess but be filled with the Spirit.’ Capital ‘S’. Is it not like that in your own?
24. That is the Holy Spirit. Ehen! ‘Speaking to yourselves in hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.’
25. It is then you are having a spiritual worship unto the spiritual Being, God. The hour has come for it; the hour has come for it; the hour has come for it.
26. Take oil in your vessel. Take oil in your vessel Sister; take oil in your vessel Brother. Ehen, be not drunk with wine. Listen again. That anointing was not for a stranger, in the Old Testament.
27. The Holy Ghost can never fall upon a stranger. The Holy Ghost can never fall upon anyone in strange apparel. No sir; no sir, impossible.
28. I can then understand again why Paul said to Timothy, ‘Lay hands on no man suddenly,’ right, under anointing be careful.
29. If you call me here to may be pray for Chidimma to cast out demons, I will tell you I would not do that; I won’t do that. I know what I am saying. Are you hearing me? I know what I am saying.
30. Look, a stranger is a stranger. It is not somebody that has been with you; that has suffered with you and later left you. And then after so many years, coming back, possibly coming back he might come back with some strange habit, with some strange dresses, not the usual thing you and him or she were putting on before he or she left. Then you can amend that one. But a stranger is a stranger.
31. A stranger is a stranger. You dare not put the anointing oil upon a stranger for anybody doing that will be killed. You will die with them.
32. The Holy Ghost is not upon the unregenerated man. It is not for the unregenerated man. It is not for the man that is alien to the word of God. Are you getting something?
33. It is not for the man that ever turns his head, turns her head; her back to the word of God. No, no, no, no.
34. Circumcising our hearts; it is the work of God and when he does that, everything will be in order. But He knows your heart.
35. You cannot force yourself for your heart to be circumcised. He knows what you will be. He knew what Jacob would be. He knew Jacob was malleable.
36. What do I mean by that? He was a bendable fellow. He could change shape. He knew he could woo Jacob easily. But Esau, God knew; he knew he was hardened man by heart; He knew, He knew, He knew. Amen. Another mystery; Brother, Sister, look at this again.
37. The bible said where we read in Exodus 30, the bible said that anything touching the anointed vessels, ehn, are you hearing that? Verse 29, ‘And thou shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy.
38. Whosoever toucheth them shall be holy.’ Whatever that toucheth them, toucheth the anointed ones shall be holy. Brother, Sister, are you a Christian? Am I one? Are you a Christian? Am I one?
39. That is the consecrated element, vessel, anointed with pure olive oil, anything touching them that thing automatically becomes holy.
40. The holiness in these vessels, they have been anointed, was so powerful, so influencing that any other thing no matter how impure that thing was, that thing automatically was changed from being impure, from being unholy to being holy.
41. You see where we are in? You see what our problem is again? We are making much of it in words than in reality.
42. You see, I can now understand why Jesus, because he received the Spirit without measure, He was anointed with the oil of gladness above his fellows, why he could mix up with unbelievers, with harlots, with drunkards, with tax collectors, publicans, with Pharisees, yet he was never contaminated; yet instead of the law influencing Jesus, Jesus influenced their law.
43. Could you now see why the Prophet said for how many years, he never had any form of sin because the Holy Ghost was upon him?
44. Are you seeing where we are erring? Are you seeing why we fail? Are you seeing it now? Just, Jesus was anointed like those vessels in that sanctuary. So anybody getting near him with their sin never, never went back without being holy.
45. Are you hearing that? Didn’t you see Mary Magdalene; didn’t you see Martha; didn’t you see that Samaritan woman? Ehn! Don’t you see that? Coming in contact with Jesus because God had already said it in His word;
46. anything touching any of these vessels that have been anointed, consecrated untoholiness unto the Lord, that thing automatically becomes holy. Jesus was anointed with the oil of gladness, of the Holy Spirit; that is Holy Spirit without measure and could walk around, do everything fine, meet all kinds of people, yet, instead of He, Himself being contaminated, he had to lift up others, he had to lift up others.
47. Then why is it Brother, you are saying you are alright; you are a Christian; you have known the secret, why is it then that you are a Brother, a Sister, a girl, a harlot coming your way with the back being exposed, with the base of the breasts being exposed? Then you begin to feel uneasy.
48. Are you seeing now that the Holy Ghost is not there? Is it not clear? Am I the one that said it? Is it not clear? Why is it Sister that because you are there and that young man comes your way, ‘This your jaw self; eh, eh, I would have loved to, eh, eh,’ before you know it, he lands his hand on your body; before you know it you begin to have evil thoughts in your heart possibly to see whether you can go and embrace him the more because you are empty in your vessel; you are empty in your vessel.
49. There is no Holy Ghost, no oil, you are barren. That is what is keeping us still here that we are not working as Jesus Christ. I am telling you. If you like, believe it; if you don’t like, forget it. If you want to have it, have it. If you don’t want to have it, leave it.
50. I have told you everything about it. I am telling you; five foolish virgins, five wise virgins. Jesus walked among sinners because He had the spirit without measure. Are you seeing it? Are you seeing? Amen.
Glory be to God. If you refuse the personality God has been introduced to you, you have indirectly or ignorantly rejected God. As many that said No to THE SON OF MAN, you have seen that THE SON OF MAN and the Father are One. Who do you think that they have rejected? Where will they end it at the end? When you reject the Saviour, can you be saved again? You cannot be saved without a Saviour. Can you save yourself? I AM YOUR SAVIOUR. I AM THE ONE SENT TO COME AND BRING YOU HOME. If you refuse to go with Me, I will abandon you. Finish! I do not beg you to follow. Prove for yourself whether I am He, the One you are waiting for or whether you should continue to wait for another.

TAKE OIL IN YOUR VESSEL
Let us go back to our text. Matthew 25. They had no oil in their vessels. These other ones had oil in their vessels. Vessel is you and me. Oil is the Holy Ghost. Lamp is the Word of God.
2. Now, you see it. You have the word of God without the Holy Ghost, without the Holy Ghost, the anointing, to make it effective, it profits you nothing; you become like that foolish man that built his house on the sand. You will be like that man.
3. Now, we go back to our text Matthew 25:3, ‘They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.’
4. You are having the word of God for some time now in this tabernacle. But if the Lord Jesus Christ will come today, you see his sign in the Cloud, will you get up to be caught up with Him in the air? That is, getting into the marriage feast.
5. Yet, you have been given the wedding garment. Will you join? Will I join? We are waiting for rapture ooo!!. If it comes; if you are about dying and you don’t know you are about dying, you will suddenly die. You won’t make any proposal. You won’t make even a will for your descendants.
6. If Jesus comes now, shall we, will you, will I, be caught up with Him? Is there no Holy Ghost? THE PROPHET SAID THAT RAPTURE IS GOD HARVESTING HIS SPIRIT IN MAN. He comes and sees it is in this man, he takes the spirit. Taking His Spirit, he is taking the man along with Him. Ehen!
7. Then, don’t fail to remember that any element, anything touching any of those vessels that have been anointed was madeholy. Don’t fail to remember that.
8. Then you have to ask yourself, whether that girl by your side is being influenced unto holiness or does she turn to evil, worldliness, or fornication.
9. Whether that young man by your side, whether the society you are in, is being drawn to holiness and Light or you are being pulled to worldliness. If you are being pulled to worldliness, the little sight of an obscene picture affects you, I say to you Brother, you Sister, that shows clearly, that you are having the word in your vessel. You are having your lamp.
10. You are like the foolish virgins. You are having your lamp, the word of God, but there is no holy ghost. There is no oil in your vessel. There is no Holy Ghost in your life because I believe what we have already heard; Holy Ghost being there, we will be Jesus Christ walking the streets of Eha-amufu, walking the streets of this world.
11. I believe it but watch, you see now, so you see why the bible says, ‘The word, The Spirit giveth life, but the letter killeth.’ Do you see? Like the builders, wise and foolish ones, Jesus said they all built like the virgins.
12. Jesus said they all were waiting for the Bridegroom. We may be here, all partaking of the word of God we are hearing every day, but without the Holy Ghost in our vessel to anoint that word, to cause it to shine. You can’t make the word of God to come forth. You cannot. I cannot. You can’t work it out for you to be fruitful. It must be the power of the Holy Ghost.
13. Zachariah was told, ‘Not by power nor by might. It must be the Holy Ghost business.’ We must have it in our vessels for all we are hearing to be fruitful, to shine forth, to light, to burn continually, continually is what? Every second, every minute, every hour, yes, they put no oil in their vessels.
14. So, we may be here keeping no oil in our vessels. We are hearing, ‘It is wonderful, it is wonderful,’ because you are having no oil that is why you cannot believe it.
15. Because before you move from here to your house, you have forgotten everything. The Holy Ghost is not there to keep on bringing the word continually to you.
16. Jesus said in John 16, when he comes, he will remind you, he will show it to you; he will bring to your remembrance all I have spoken to you. Are you hearing that? Are you seeing it now?
17. You see, so from here to there you forget. It is no longer continually being burned; it is no longer being lit and it can never be light. You will have it, the word will come and come and come but no oil.
18. That is why every time, it looks as if to say you are starting over again. No oil. If you strike a march stick, light it up, take it to the lamp, put it on the wig and the lamp is not having any kerosene, let me tell you, you will not have any light. Rather, you will have some dark smoke. It will not give you a bright light. The wig will just dry and will perceive the smell. It is not even a good smell.
19. You may have a glitter; you may have a dim light to push away the darkness around you. All of a sudden, it will go off. Then because of that little light, the subsequent darkness, the darkness that will come upon you now and that lamp there in your eyes relatively, will be more. It will be more.
20. You have the word of God; you rejoice in it for a season but nothing to keep on supplying power to make that word effective in your life and in my life.
21. We mess around. If that lamp is lit and you jump up from where you are and start moving, rejoicing that you have got light, immediately, it will quench, you are already on your move, you will stumble and you will not know what you are stumbling over.
22. Get something right. We can never sidetrack God and His pattern; we can never.
23. It must be according to His divine pattern. It must burn continually. There must be that set of oil continually, burning, burning, burning; otherwise, why should we after all we have been hearing, we have heard, you go out, a situation comes and challenges you, the word of God to help you deal with that situation is there but before you know it, you have acted contrary only to remember later, why? Because that light is not burning continually.
24. It is not having oil. The light has been put off. The lamp is there ooo. The word of God is still in you; it is still there, then when the situation plays over, you will now remember the word.
25. Why is it that when you faced that situation, the word of God never came into your mind immediately? Why? YOU WERE IN DARKNESS BECAUSE LAMP GIVES LIGHT BUT LAMP CANNOT GIVE LIGHT WITHOUT OIL.
26. Get one million lamps here, no oil, you can never have light. You can never.
27. So, whether we preach twenty messages here, we have Apostle, we have prophet, we have evangelist, we have teachers, all of them to come and help us, we keep on studying every day, teaching every day, preaching every day, rebuking without the Holy Ghost to quicken these things, to remind us of these things we will still be worst off.
28. Now, I say, back to our text. Are you seeing the five foolish virgins did not have oil in their vessels? They had the word of God but no Holy Ghost. Bible said they were all slumbering and sleeping both the wise andthe foolish.
29. Matthew 25 verse 5, ‘while the Bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight
30. The darkest of the hour of the night; the darkest of the hour of the night; when the world is at its zenith of worldliness, at the peak of the world’s worldliness, the world is at the peak of worldliness. It must always be that way.
31. Sodom and Gomorrah, when their evil got to the zenith, the highest height, the Lord visited them.
32. Noah, when the world was at the worst stage, darkest hour of the dark hours, the Lord came. He sounded, Noah got up and followed; the rest perished. They all perished and I don’t know;
33. take Nigeria for instance, how evil is everywhere. It is everywhere. In my life, I am thirty something now; in my life, I have never seen; I know that when we were in elementary one in 1965, just before the war, kobo, penny; one penny, my father will give me one penny to go to school.
34. The things I will buy with that one penny; let me tell you, like what they now call “mgbado ume” [energy snack], eh, and I betyou as far as Nigeria was concerned you could never find such energy snack anywhere.
35. Another was biscuit; a bag of biscuit, you can never, never at this present age find it anywhere; you can never see it. This thing was very big for one kobo; one penny. Imagine that.
36. What is the worth of a kobo now? What is the worth of a kobo; one kobo? Even one naira which is the equivalence of ten shillings then or should I say five shillings because naira is half of a pound; alright, ten shillings. I mean one cow, will you get a cow with ten shillings then? How can, where will you get such a mighty cow? See where we are.
37. Remember we were here in 1991, October, November, December, the programme we had at Nkpor Church, we bought a basin of garri at forty five naira, December 1991. But a basin of garri going up to one hundred and something now…
38. In the mid night when the sound was made, the five foolish virgins, they were slumbering and sleeping.
39. The five wise virgins equally were sleeping or slumbering. Alright, but they were sure; I mean the wise ones; they had oil in their vessels. They had their lamps.
40. The word of God was there but the five foolish ones, they had their lamp. The word of God was there but there was no oil. Remember again, the two groups were all virgins. Let us be careful Church.
41. We are virgins now, coming out of the dungeon of denominations. There is no man made creed holding you again. We are now given to the word, waiting for the word, waiting for the Bridegroom.
42. Is this not typing us? The world we are in is a dark world. The sin of the world is now at its peak; mid night, mid night. The Bridegroom will soon appear.
43. Now, it shall come; glory, will you get up? You are there with the vessel, the oil in the vessel, buzzing to the word, and the word carrying you up or will you begin to say, ‘allow us some time, allow me some time.’
44. Five rose, started marching into the feast; the other five, they were all together in the same place waiting for the same thing, waiting for the same thing.
45. Are you a foolish virgin? Did anybody stop the foolish ones from getting oil in their vessels? Did anybody? Was there a special preaching for the five wise ones to get oil in their own vessels? Was there a special thing given to them? You see the foolishness and wisdom there? They were given the same thing.
46. They were allowed to remain virgins, the same thing. But can’t you be wise to look for that thing that will give power to all you are hearing? The wise rose up very quick;
47. The five foolish started begging, ‘Give us ooo; please I beg you. We started the same time. Please help us. ’ It was late then. It was late then. They said, ‘Go and get. Just be patient.
48. Pray hard; let’s know whether this God will give it to you now. Pray hard let us see whether the Holy Ghost will come so that you will take off. Kneel down now.’
49. No wonder the spirit warned, rapture will take place, and people will still be there praying. They will be praying, ‘God do this; do that.’ As they went to get, the door was shut. Quietly, no more noise again.
50. They came back when others were already in. Well, that is tribulation. Definitely you find that they did not partake in that feast.
51. Anybody in the tribulation can never be in the rapture to enjoy that feast with the Lord. Will you be foolish, expecting the tribulation? Do you know whether they went, where they got them off? Assuming you go and you do not get anybody to buy from?
52. Assuming they went to the sellers and they were not able to get, how about that? So, why should you say, tribulation will be okay for you? Why should I say that? Why brethren?
53. Why can’t we be wise? Why should we be foolish? Without oil in our vessels, without the Holy Ghost, all that we are hearing, they will mean nothing?.
54. John 16:12-15, ‘I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truths.
55. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak.
56. And he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
57. All things that the father hath are mine, therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.’ Amen.
58. That is the Holy Spirit; that is the anointing oil; that is the burning oil. He will remind you. You have heard enough of the word of God to help you, help me, face every situation in life.
59. Why is it that in the days of that situation, you still fail? Why is it that theworld will be comforting completely? That means that light is not burning.
60. That light is not shining. That means you have not been anointed like all those vessels in that altar, anything touching became holy. Otherwise, that situation will melt before you and me with the word empowered by the Spirit that reminds you of it.
61. You see where we err? You see our condition? I said God helping us if we understand it and cry to God and He does it for you and me, the Holy Ghost, let me tell you, we are having lamps.
62. We are having lamps, but we don’t have oil in our vessels. That is why we are not shining as lights. That is why we are not shining as lights.
63. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works. It didn’t say let your lights shine, some for five years; some four years before men.
64. Are you seeing that? It is a continual something; continually. For your marriage tobe a good one, you struggle, you comport yourself before people, tomorrow you will fail. It can’t burn continually; it can’t shine continually.
65. Are you getting that? There must be oil in the vessel. Take oil in your vessel. Take oil in your vessel.
66. 2nd Peter 1:19, says, ‘We have also a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawned and the day star arise in your heart.’
67. How does it arise? How does that word become a light? How does that word that is a lamp become light? It must have oil to burn.
68. Luke 21:12-15, I am trying to round off. ‘But before all this, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
69. Settle it therefore in your heart, not to meditate before what ye shall answer. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or resist.’ Amen.
I am saying that I would not like to be a part of that church where the members are not dwelling in love with one another. Therefore, if this passage applies to you, and you believe that I AM THE CHIEF DESIGNER, I know what it takes for the Door to open. I know the qualification for entering. If I notice you are trapped, I know what trapped you.

WE ARE NOT OF THE NIGHT NOR OF DARKNESS
And in another portion of the scripture, the bible says, after Jesus had answered the Sadducees and the Pharisees, the bible said from that time, no man dare ask him any question for he answered them with authority.
2) As somebody with authority and they could not, nobody could understand. Nobody could compete with him. It was beyond their understanding.
3) Why? This was because He had the Spirit without measure; because Hewas anointed with the oil of gladness above His fellows.
4) This meant that you and me will receive the same anointing to be able to go and confound them.
5) He said, DON’T MEDITATE IN YOUR HEART WHAT YOU SHOULD SAY; WHAT YOU SHOULD THINK, WHAT YOU WILL ANSWER THEM, THAT SAME HOUR, THE HOLY GHOST WILL TAKE OVER BECAUSE YOU ARE HAVING OIL IN YOUR VESSEL.
6) The Holy Spirit takes hold of your mouth and begins to preach. Just open your mouth; begin to say it. Are you still not seeing it?
7) In Arts of Apostle Chapter 2, after the Holy Ghost came down, Peter that said, ‘I go a fishing,’ that same Peter, because he was now having that oil in his vessel; he had the oil in his vessel, that Peter had a mouth from the Lord; had a wisdom from the Lord.
8) The wisdom they could not comprehend. He spoke to them, expounded the scriptures.
9) Don’t you see in Chapter 7, Arts of the Apostles, Steven, he had that oil in his vessel. He then could remember the scriptures he read concerning how Abraham was brought out from the… Hallelujah! Brethren ooo, don’t you see, this is what we are still lacking
10) I believe if this oil is in you and me, let me tell you, the bible says, they couldn’t withstand or reason with Stephen; an ordinary deacon, not a pastor.
11) He was not recorded as an apostle in the scriptures, but they could not withstand him because oil was there to fulfill what Jesus said in Luke 21 verse 15, saying, ‘I will give you a mouth; I will give you wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or withstand.
12) They will not be able to gainsay it or resist it.’ You and me, little Christs, where is our oil? Any in our vessels? Are we not having many lamps? Are we not having a lot of lamps? Are you not having one?
13) Have you not been given so many lamps here? Have you not been given so many that you can go with and thensimply refill the oil? It is your own business.
14) The much you want to use, you buy. The much you want to use, you refill and then with it you go and light up. You will see clearly wherever you are going. You will never stumble; you will never stumble.
15) I will never stumble. Church, have you seen something? We are rounding off.
16) Mark 13:35-37, ‘Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing or in the morning.
17) Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you, I say unto all, watch.’
18) If you readMatthew 25:13, it is the same thing, ‘Watch therefore for ye know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man cometh.’
19) Get me 1st Thessalonians 5, you know not when the master of the house cometh, whether at evening or at midnight. The Bridegroom can come at midnight or at cockcrow or in themorning, you don’t know, I don’t know.
20) Just have it in your mind that it must be one glorious morning. It must be one glorious morning; it must be. It might be one glorious morning; it might be one glorious afternoon; it might be one glorious evening. But we thank God His love is there for us. You don’t know when. You don’t know when Brother; you don’t know when Sister.
21) Number one, if those that had lamps could not enter because they didn’t have oil how much more those that did not have lamps at all.
22) Come on! Those that had lamps, the Word, but because they didn’t have oil, they could not enter; trying to get oil, it became late, how much more somebody not having lamp at all.
23) It is of no use talking about such a person. The person dare not expect the feast, the marriage supper. Dare not at all.
24) If you are taking the word of God in derision, making it of non effect, where are you going? What is your condition?
25) How much more you are not having the word settled? How do you begin to think about the Holy Ghost doing it? Are you not lost already?
26) Matthew 25: 13 says, ‘Watch therefore for ye know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man cometh.
27) Then where our Brother read in Mark 13:35, says, ‘Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master cometh, at even or at midnight, or at cockcrow or in the morning, lest coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you, I say unto all, watch.’
28) Coming suddenly, he finds you sleeping, watch. You see now, how can you have rest when there is job to be done? How can you be sleeping when there is job to be done?
29) That means you don’t know your work or you don’t know the worth of the job before you. Do you know you have no need of rest when you don’t have the Holy Ghost? It is the Holy Ghost that makes you rest.
30) Now, the five wise ones started sleeping because they had the oil. They had the HolyGhost. They were ready. So, they were resting. The five foolish ones thought it was a resting jamboree.
31) They never knew the secret of those that were sleeping; they never knew they had found the most necessary thing; that;s oil.
32) They had it plenty in their vessels and so now they could rest. There was nothing to disturb them; they were sleeping. Now these foolish ones; that is why they were foolish; their foolishness could be seen from the scriptures. You see, so these ones they started sleeping as well.
33) Brother, Sister, if you think Brother A is now sleeping and you see him trying to rest and then you begin to rest, you are foolish.
34) When we were there on campus, we see the unbelievers, they study, and then you are busy with Pentecostal activities, running up and down. Then in the end when they are sleeping, you take your books and lie down and start sleeping, then you are foolish, you are foolish. You see why they were foolish.
35) They never knew they had to do the job first. You must work. There is no rest until you have finished the work. So they had to work. And then they could rest. And in that rest they were doing the work; that rest was working according to the pattern God has given.
36) Then there was midnight, the Bridegroom came. They got up; the word was there; the anointing was there, married in them and The Lord harvested them. They went.
37) The foolish ones, they could remember the word, but they couldn’t work with it or they couldn’t remember it at all. They started looking for something to remind them; the Holy Ghost, it was not possible. They went.
38) Watch, don’t be sleeping; stop sleeping. No wonder the Prophet said if you don’t have the Holy Spirit, don’t leave the altar.
39) When you are crying, and weeping and wailing and mourning, are you resting? You are still laboring, working until you receive it. Then there is rest.
40) In time of danger, the Lord will be there. The anointing will give you power. You will find yourself a superman; you will stand; you will have your peace. You will have your rest;
41) But when the Holy Ghost is not there, it is confusion because there is no light; no source of power. The anointing is not there; the Holy Ghost is not there.
42) Church, the word you are hearing won’t make any meaning any more. Read where you are which is probably our last scripture, 1st Thessalonians 5 from verse 1,
43) ‘But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord cometh as a thief in the night.
44) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape.
45) But ye, brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all children of light and children of the day: we are not of the night nor of darkness.
46) Therefore let us not sleep as do others, but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
47) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
48) For God hath not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.’
49) Note verse 4, ‘But ye, brethren are not in darkness,’
50) You may have the word of God and still be in darkness. You may have the lamp without kerosene in it; your room will still be in darkness.
51) Then it says, ‘We are not in darkness,’ that means we are not asleep as they did. Meaning what? That means that our lamps are burning; that means that we are having a continual supply of oil to the lamp,
52) The word of God in your heart; in my heart. It’s been anointed by the Holy Ghost and it is effective.
53) So, we can never walk in darkness anymore. Is it not happening? You are having the word of God yet before you know it, you will be overtaken.
54) With Jesus Christ in you, will you ever be overtaken in any sin or by any sin? I want us to know something; we are not here to play religion.
55) It is a practical life; Jesus Christ having the Spirit without measure, anointed above his fellows, never was he overtaken, yet he mingled, he walked among unbelievers of all cadres: harlots, demon possessed; demon of harlotry possessing young ladies. They never lured Jesus into fornication.
56) Why should they then lure you Brother into fornication? Are you seeing it? The anointing is not there. The oil is not there, yet you are having the word. The letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life.
57) You have the word yet it still remains darkness unto you. And then you are feeling within you that you have the word and so that is light. That is light indeed! Not knowing that because it is not adding any anointing; it is not having any oil, it is still darkness.
58) I can’t do without the Holy Ghost; you can never be a Christian without the Holy Ghost. Jesus never was Christ without the anointing of the Holy Ghost.
59) AND THEN BEING ANOINTED, HE NEVER, NEVER ERRED IN ANYTHING; even when the closest wanted tomake him fall. Peter started rebuking him, ‘No, it can’t be; no it can’t be.
60) James and John said, ‘Master, do you bid us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them? Yet those people were antagonist towards Jesus Christ. It was a very, very painful thing.
That is why the Word of God is like a light that shines in the dark corners of our heart. If you switch on a torch here, the torch is not needed because there is light. But the touch serves you when there is darkness. So the word of God shines in that dark area. That is why when the message will be going forth, your name will not be mentioned, but the message will be speaking to you personally. Through the light of the Word of God, your life will be x-rayed. You will be asking, “Is this how I am? Who told Pastor this? Who reported me to Daddy?

REFILL YOUR LAMP CONTINUALLY
The Lord had temptation by the devil. There are no other ways you and me are being tempted other than these ways. He was tempted yet he never failed. Are you seeing that? He had the spirit without measure; had the oil in his vessel filled to the brim.’
2) He said, we are not sons of darkness; we are sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night or darkness; a supposition. Let it be so that we are sons of light and sons of the day and never of darkness and never of the night.
3) It is important; we must be. That means that our light is shining and there is continuous supply of that oil.
4) Therefore, let us not sleep as do others. Let us watch; be sober-minded. Let us who are of the day be sober putting on the breastplate of faith and love and for an helmet the hope of salvation.
5) All these things will hang upon that anointing, that oil that supplies to the lamp and then giving you light. Every other thing hovering around us, you will be another Jesus; I will be another Jesus.
6) You will be another Jesus Christ; yes, another Jesus Christ, not just another Jesus. There are so many Jesuses. You will be another Jesus Christ. I will be another Jesus Christ.
7) Brother, Sister, we have been hearing the word. We now have the word, it is in our hearts. You play the tapes, you play it again. You study the word, you understand, you rejoice, but what effect has it made inyour life? What effect has it been making in your life? Why? Because the oil is not there.
8) The vessel is empty. For you and me to make it we must have our vessels filled like those wise five virgins; Brother, Sister, like those five wise virgins.
9) This is the only thing. But how is your heart? Let us pray. How is your heart? He is here seeing your heart; seeing my heart. If you are not for Him, if you are not for Him, forget about it.
10) He saw the heart of Esau; He saw the heart of Jacob, He saw the heart of Pharaoh and Egypt. He saw the heart of Israel and he said for his own power to be made manifest to the world, he has to forbear and long suffer the vessel Pharaoh; the vessel of God unto destruction. So, if you are not unto mercy and righteousness, there is no way.
11) Brother, Sister you see reason why the word keeps on going? It seems as if to say there is no impact; as if to say we are making no headway.
12) We have been foolish all along taking no oil in our vessels, yet we have the lamp. We have been having the lamp.
13) Psalm 119:105 says, ‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet; unto my path.’ Yes, are you seeing something? Are you seeing something? Are you seeing something?
14) Why should we be foolish when we know that foolishness is sin? Foolishness, thought of foolishness is sin. We have no excuse.
15) Nobody specially prepared the five wise virgins to go and get enough oil. Then we understand why the Prophet said, ‘If you don’t have him, keep on crying until you have him, otherwise. No hope for you.
16) Why is it? Is it not the word of God that we have been hearing? Is it not? Don’t you see? In the temple; in the sanctuary the anointed vessels made holy any other thing coming in contact with them.
17) Brethren ooo!!, not that the holy vessels, the anointed holy vessels were polluted and made unholy by impure contact, no, but they themselves were making holy.
18) Are you seeing what Jesus meant when he said, you are the salt of the world? It is very clear brethren. Why don’t we start? That is what we need now; total obedience to the word. Doing the word of God as it is.
19) Allow the oil to flow; to flow. Jesus said in Luke 11:9, I say unto you ask and it shall be given you. Seek and you should find. Knock and it should be opened unto you for anyone that asketh receiveth and anyone that seeketh findeth and to him that knocketh, it should be opened.
20) If a son should ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him stone? Or if he should ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he should ask for an egg will he offer him a scorpion?
21) If ye then being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask it? Have we been asking?
22) I believe God has spoken so much concerning the need to obey His word. I believe if you are wise you must have been giving yourself over, obeying all that God has said.
23) Now, the next thing is this: you are now having lamp, the next thing is this oil in your vessel?
24) You could now find out that those wise ones having oil in their vessels with the lamp, they could get into the marriage feast. Behold the Bridegroom is coming, the darkness of the hour is there in the midnight. The Lord Jesus, The Bridegroom is coming and we are the Bride.
25) The rapture is in view. You see now, God loves you and me. That is why He is warning us now to get the oil; not allowing ourselves to be empty. Get the oil so that we will be hundred percent ready.
26) We will now be resting comfortably and the foolish ones will begin to rest with us. But if we don’t get it now, we will be among the foolish ones and we will be resting with the few that are wise. I believe some are wise already and they have the oil in their vessels.
27) Brother, Sister how is it; how is it that we are making every preparation towards the night. That is our concern now. That’s our concern; the Bridegroom, the wedding in the air.
28) Have you asked for the Holy Ghost? Have I? If we have asked actually, has God given it to us? Or are we saying God is a liar or He promises and He doesn’t do it when he has challenged you and me?
29) Even as an ordinary man when I am about to go out and my children say, ‘Daddy, if you go to Enugu, buy us egg, buy us bread and beverages,’ I know I will always be mindful to buy them something to make them feel good; to make them fine; something to help them.
30) I make sure I try as much as possible to get it for them. If I don’t find it, if I can’t get it, I come home and say, ‘I am sorry; don’t worry, I will get them for you, yes, yes, yes.’ How much more God in giving us what will help you and me become Jesus Christ again in this world; Jesus Christ again on earth; little Jesus Christ, another god, gods again, Christians, Christians again here on earth.
31) That is what the world has been waiting for; looking forward to the manifestations of the sons and daughters of the living God. The whole creation is groaning, earnestly waiting for the full manifestation of the sons and daughters of God; the light of the lamps. That is what the world is waiting for.
32) They are waiting for the lighting of the world by the Word of God being preached every now and then.
33) Some people may be hearing you and me now. They hear what we preach; they feel attracted but they will wait to watch and see whether there will be light coming out of youand me; having that lamp, the Word. Are you seeing it? I must ask God; I must ask God.
PRAYER
G |
racious Father, thank you. You know how I trembled when you opened my eyes to this. You opened my eyes to this. How I nearly shouted, Jesus. It is most important to me. I am the most needful. Lord, help me.
2) You have opened my eyes to this. I can understand why I still have some things that I detest. I don’t want to see them manifesting in my life, yet I still see them. Your word speaks and says, ‘Look at them,’ after they have been made manifest; after these things had come to pass.
3) Lord this oil, the Spirit to quicken these words that they will be a flame of me. Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, if we say all that are troubling us, please, please, please, help us.
4) I can understand what the Prophet meant when he said, ‘You must get it; the Holy Spirit. If you don’t have it, you go for it. Be at the altar weeping until you receive it. Weeping until you receive it, oh, without the anointing, without the oil, I can never influence anyone around.
5) Oh, when evil comes and touches me, I will be influenced to follow that evil; instead of the evil being influenced to follow me. Lord, help me; help me. I asked for this oil, for this oil, for this oil, in my vessel, in my body help me Jesus. Help me Jesus.
6) Help me Jesus in Jesus Christ’s name. Precious Father, thank You once again for this time. Lord, I know of a truth,, You love us and You don’t want us to perish; You don’t want us to miss this Supper, this Marriage Supper of the Lamb, this Meeting in the air. Look at it; it is clearly brought down to us.
7) We see where we are lying. You have been giving us the Word, Lord, cause your Spirit to come upon us. Lord, I pray that the Holy Spirit will come upon us without measure that we will manifest what we have been waiting for, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8) Precious Father, forgive our foolishness which has always been standing before You as sin. Give us that wisdom. As Your word has come, may I never have rest, may my Brother never have rest, may my Sister never have rest until all come to the knowledge of that same Spirit. You give us that Sprit, that oil, Lord, Lord, lead us to the banquet hall for the Marriage Supper.
9) Without that light, without the five foolish virgins lighting their lamps with the oil being enough, they won’t see their way to get into the banquet hall.
10) They would be groping in darkness. They would be beating about the bush; feeling for the way and they will be stumbling over so many things. Lord, yet, they had their lamps with them. We can understand.
11) We thank You God, asking that you help us, asking that you do it for us like you did it for the five wise virgins in the name of our Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord. Bless every brother, Lord may this love at the end never be a condemnation to us.
EXHORTATION BY BROTHER IFEANYI
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. You have done foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you shall have wars.

I HAVE SEEN MY FOOLISHNESS
The Lord has spoken; the word has sounded. I believe we didn’t come here to play religion. We have come here for practical Christianity.
2) Let me ask, how many of us will want us to go now? Please say whatever is in your heart. If you want us to go; you are tired and you feel we should go, please indicate. Any other person? Praise the Lord.
3) Okay, after I finish saying what I want to say, may be if you still think we should go, we can go.
4) Praise the Lord. I believe we should do a little praying before we go. We heard the message. The bible said or what we heard said we should take oil in our lamps.
5) Watch. I have seen my folly, I have seen my foolishness. I don’t know whether you have seen your own. The bible said, the foolish ones said, ‘Please give me part of your own oil,’ to the wise ones. They said, ‘If we give you, it won’t be enough for both of us.
6) So, we won’t give you.’ That means that whatever Holy Ghost, God gives, He gives only for one person.
7) The one that is given to you will not take me to heaven. I don’t know whether you understand what I am saying? That means it is only one. It is not meant for two persons.
8) There is something you do, you prepare it, it can take care of two persons, but this one takes care of only one person. They asked, ‘Please could you lend us some?’ It is oil nah, oil could be dashed.
9) Is it not? Anything that flows, liquid you can divide it, can’t you? But now, these people said, ‘When we divide it, it won’t be enough for us; it won’t be enough for you. Therefore, go and buy your own.’ Everybody must have his or her own.
10) That is why I said, we must have to do a little praying. If you have faith and you believe you have gotten the oil, thank God and keep on rejoicing.
11) When somebody was talking to me, I said in my heart, why is it that the Church is never excited in all the messages we are hearing here? And we sit like dumb idols.
12) It is true. We are dumb. I don’t say we should shout unnecessarily or anyhow but when people are excited by what they are hearing you know.
13) But when you come here, after I can chat and chat and chat and I come here and sit like a dumb person. What is it? It is just, I should say and I believe it is true. In short, the word is reaching us so much.
14) Praise the Lord. Let me tell us the truth, it is reaching us so much because, theword of God, Jesus said ‘The words I speak, they are Spirit and they are life.’ So, if it is not spirit, it is not life, it is not God’s word.
15) So, if because he said the lamp is a complete instrument, you think you have light, no. You can’t say you have light, if there is no kerosene there. It is ordinary lamp.
16) So, the whole thing is a complete fullness of the word, which must be in someone that also has the spirit, has the spirit of the word. Praise the Lord.
17) So that is why, we just collected part of the word and want to run around with part of it without making sure that we have it complete. The word must be complete. And to be complete, the spirit of the word must be inside. That is the light of the word.
18) Just like you heard of the story of few men that went and connected tap, ordinary tap, they ran the pipes into their house to get water; so you get ordinary pipe, fix into a house and you are not connected tothe source of the water, you think you will have pipe borne water. Do you have pipe borne water? You don’t have it.
19) Do not rejoice. Some of us that have houses where they fix all these things, it is not connected to any source of water. You don’t have any pipe borne water in your house. Don’t say you have water system. You don’t. Praise the Lord.
20) That is why I said we should do a little praying before we go. Please, if you are tired, just pause to yourself a little bit.
21) Because I said I have seen my folly. That is why sometimes I come here, I get excited about what is read. The other day, I would come and sit like a dumb person. I am not excited at all. But yet we are told it has to be continual.
22) Jesus said He is a source springing unto everlasting life. Praise the Lord. So, we are here peradventure we will believe. The bible said that according to our faith, that isthe way it will be to us. Is it not?
23) We will pray, even if it is ten minutes. Even if it is ten minutes we spend here, let me just put it this way, we make efforts by praying because God knows.
24) Praise the Lord; so that we will really be people who are in it. Amen. So, just make up your mind, focus your mind so that we will do a little praying.
25) I am just saying this thing so that even if it is just five minutes praying, we will pray here yet we will pray with the whole of our hearts and our minds. Then we will do it and then we will go.
26) But we have heard the Word of God. Haven’t you seen your folly? Haven’t I seen my folly? The thing is indivisible. I can’t pass the word, the Apostle can’t pass the word he has to me.
27) That is why the Prophet said, ‘Some people say, Come and teach us how to receive spiritual gifts.’ He said, ‘How can they?’ And I heard back then in Pentecostal, somebody was invited to come and impart spiritual gifts to people.
28) He said, ‘How can I impart spiritual gifts to you? As I touch you, you receive from me, how? That is a magic.’ You must receive from God. Praise the Lord. Please, let us pray.
PRAYER
Just talk to God. We have read it; the scripture has been read to us, we won’t believe. When we began here we said, only believe for all things are possible but remember, can I now see, you know when the word of God pinches you, you know it has pinched you.
2) If you are not convinced yet, you don’t have the oil. If you are convinced, you have the oil. Don’t pray. I am convinced of my own, I am lacking it.
3) Once in a while, a little light has flashed up but it is for a moment. It dies off. I become like an ordinary man. The bible said, Jesus was anointed above his fellows.
4) No man received the anointing he received. And I saw something. Every situation was applicable to them. All of them slept.
5) The darkness affected all of them; situations of the world affected all of them, but there was a difference. There was light; there was light to the instrument they had while to the foolish fellows there was no light to the instrument they had.
6) Pray and talk to God. I mean, just don’t expect anyone to tell you what to pray. The Lord is here. He never brought us this word in vain.
7) Again, check your life. Do you really want the Holy Ghost? Do you really want the oil? Do you really want to meet the Bridegroom? Do you really want to meet him? Do you really want to see the Bridegroom? Behold the Bridegroom cometh.
8) Do you think his coming is important to you? Are you waiting to see him? Are you serious about seeing him? If you are serious, then, buy the oil, get the oil.
9) A lot of people are not interested. But you that are here are you interested? Can you see why our fellowship, a number of times is not alive. Check your life, I check my life.
10) Pray and call upon the name of the Lord for He is here. He never brought this word just for nothing. He said, if you can remember the topic, he said, TAKE OIL UNTO YOUR VESSELS; he said, take oil in your vessels. If the Lord does not have oil to give you, He won’t ask you to take oil.
11) If the Lord doesn’t have oil to give you, he won’t ask you to take oil. For how long shall I come here, and I will hear the Lord saying take oil in your lamp and then I will listen and say, ‘Thank God, the Lord has told me to take oil,’ and then I start going away. Amen.
12) Church, I say you should check yourselves; I check myself. Do you really want the Holy Ghost above all things? Do you really want Him above all things? Remember, for ten days these people were waiting and waiting and waiting for this Holy Ghost.
13) It was the most important thing they needed on earth. They wanted it above all things. They wanted this oil.
14) Jesus had told them so many things; so many. But they could not act upon those things until when something comes and puts a spark on it. The vehicle is there.
15) Everything is there but there must be a spark. Do you want your vehicle to move? Do you really want the oil? That is the issue because let it be known to you that many, many outside, many in many places are crying and shouting making noise, they want the Holy Ghost, they want the Holy Ghost.
16) You want the oil. Is that the most important thing? Then the word of God said it comes by faith.
17) You must believe. Ask and it shall be given unto you. Knock and the door will be opened. Seek and ye shall find. Whatsoever you ask the Father in my name, that He will do.
18) Do you have faith? Believe it for all things are possible to them that believeth. It comes by faith. You can’t work for it.
19) John said no man can receive anything except it is given to him from above. It is by faith. Hold unto Him. Hold unto Him by faith.
20) This is the hour upon which the Son of God said, ‘When the Son of Man shall come upon the earth, shall he find faith on earth?’ When Jesuscame, it was faith that made people to get whatever they wanted from Him. Today, it must be by faith for any man that will receive anything from Him. Do you believe? Amen.
21) Brethren, let me tell you something: one thing is very certain. You can’t ask God to do anything outside His word. All the while we have been hearing it.
22) Thank God he has been causing us to hear his word so that your heart will become prepared. Let me tell you something, before Elijah can call down fire upon the altar, he laid it according to the order. Everything completed in order.
23) He said, ‘Now, God, I have done all you have commanded me to do, I have done it perfectly alright, God it is now your time.’ Let me tell you, without the Holy Ghost coming upon you, you can’t do it. It is God that sent it down upon you.
24) During the time of Jesus, John said, ‘Don’t get baptized’, Jesus said, ‘I will do it to fulfill all righteousness.’ And immediately as he wascoming out of the water, he said, ‘Oh Father I have done all that you told me to do, now confirm Me.’
25) When people talk about confirmation, God confirms; not a man. But people are looking for human beings to lay hand on them, to confirm them, but men do not confirm. God confirms.
26) Every confirmation comes from God. Last Friday, we were here and when we prayed a prayer, there was an answer, ‘It has to be till your obedience is fulfilled.’
27) I am telling; it has to be every manner of God’s doing it has to be in line with that manner. Anything you get from God, it has to be when you have done it in accordance with what God said.
28) That is why, whatever will come to you will come according to God’s Word; the Holy Ghost coming according to God’s word. What is it? All the people that made sacrifice, before God can come down to consume it, it has to be laid in order; a whole burnt offering; total consecration. Have you surrendered all? It is not just a quick something.
29) Have you surrendered all? And let me tell you, God knows at that point where you have surrendered all. And when that voice comes, let me tell you, no other thing will ever come upon you than the Holy Ghost.
30) God knows at that point when you have given all. You will say, ‘God, now take over.’ He knows that material moment and point. And you too know. And you too know.
31) That is why the bible says, ‘God is not mocked. Let no man deceive himself.’ Allow no man to deceive you. When you are deceived, it is when you know something and you refuse to accept it the way you know it. You allow others to lead you, you have been deceived.
32) Have you surrendered? It is boiling down to the same thing. There must be a condition. There must be a condition. Pray and talk to God. It comes by faith when you surrender, you say, ‘God,’ you place yourself at the altar, expect God. The fire will come and consume that sacrifice.
33) And when that fire is burning, every Tom, Dick and Harry will see that fire burning. All around you will see that fire burning. That is the oil. Let me tell you something: The five wise virgins, they went somewhere, the trader, the seller said, ‘Wait.’ They took their containers, the seller said, ‘Wait, let me bring my measurements,’ they waited.
34) They surrendered themselves to the hands of the seller of the oil. The seller said, ‘Wait,’ and they waited. The seller said, ‘Bring your container,’ and they brought their container. The seller said, ‘Okay, pay.’ They paid.
35) Whatever price the seller told them to pay, they paid because they needed the oil. Do you see? As it is natural, so also it is spiritual. Who is the dealer in all? God; surrender to Him. Agree to His terms.
36) He will give you the oil. He is a business man. He sells oil. He gives it out. That is why the bible said, He shares the Holy Ghost above. That is why He poured the Holy Ghost from heaven.
37) He is a Dealer; he sells it; He gives to whosoever He will. As many that come to Him, He will give. That is why the bible said, ask and it shall be give unto you. Knock and the door will be opened. Seek and ye shall find. But you mustfulfill the condition.
38) That is where we will be rounding off. Talk to God. Have you surrendered when your obedience is fulfilled? Grant me the oil that I may burn. Grant me that oil that I may burn.
39) Grant me the oil that I may burn; that there may be light, oh God, that I see oh God; that I will see when the Bridegroom cometh. I will know where he is, I can see my way to where He is because if my lamp is not burning, God, I will not know where He is.
40) I cannot find my way to Him because my lamp is not burning. Father, help me. Help my brother; help my sister. Help this entire Church, oh God. Oh God, have Thy way.
41) In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father, we thank You for this moment. We thank you for this hour. You never asked us to take oil in our vessel when there is no oil available.
42) It is because you know there is oil available for us to take. That is why you have directed us back to take the oil. We have been trying to show light with the instrument of light which is a lamp or which is Your word, but thelamp is no lamp if there is no oil.
43) A lamp can never do its function as a lamp if it cannot be burning. So, Lord, we see our folly, we see our foolishness even today. We need the light to walk in, in this dark side we are. Before, we had even no lamp at all or any other thing but Lord, You began by handing over lamps to us.
44) We thought that was all, all having a lamp. Yes, the lamp has been given to our hands… AMEN!
