PROLOGUE
It is really a fact that man’s ignorance is tied to ancestral traditions and erroneous belief.
History has it that numerous types of gods were worshipped during the ancient civilization in many nations or empires. Among them were the celebrations of god Tammuz or Adonis in Antioch.
2. Authur Welgall wrote “One of the earliest seats of Christianity was Antioch, but in that city there was celebration each year of the death and resurrection of the god Tammuz and Adonis, the later name meaning simply “The Lord”.
3. The place at Bethlehem selected by the early Christians as the scene of the birth of Jesus (For want of any knowledge as to where the event had really occurred) was none other than early shrine of this Pagan god, as St. Jerome was horrified to discover, a fact which shows that Tammuz or Adonis ultimately became confused in men’s minds with Jesus Christ.
4. Also there was the worship of Hyacinth, the Spartan god or divine hero that was celebrated in early spring every year; the god of Attis was worshipped and celebrated annually from March 22nd – 25th.
5. The Cretans (1700 – 1400BC) worshipped their god known as Minotaur, a creature, half man and half bull. Also in 140BC, the Greeks worshipped their gods known as Orpheus and Venus de Milo, an Aphrodite. In Delphi, the god of Apollo was worshipped and a priestess called Pythia acted as a mediator between the gods and mortal man. The ancient Romans also celebrated the Natalis Solis invicti “The birth of the invisible sun”.
6. The Egyptians of ancient kingdom worshipped the god Osiris; the Mexicans worshipped Orpheus, the harvested and buried grain god. The Ur civilization (2100BC) worshipped the moon god – Su’en. This city had been the home of the great Hebrew Godly man, Abraham, before he and his entire family left the city on a long journey to the land of Canaan, the Promised Land.
7. Many of those gods that was worshipped during the ancient civilization were believed to possess awesome powers of protection, direction and of abundant harvest. Most of these gods were carvings done on wood, stone, clay etc. some are cubic in shape, decorated with plant or animal forms, and some made in abstract shapes (Cubistic) used for evocation as an intermediary channels of life force for the protection of tribes, villages or hamlets.
8. At the same time, they are in reciprocate relationship with their living descendants, on whose survival as a line and unbroken services they are dependent for their own wellbeing in the afterlife. They believed that those gods they were worshipping had their spiritual existence and survival connected to the deities. That made the ancient Egyptians to believe strongly that when they die, they had to appear before Osiris, god of the dead, to be judged, before being given the blessing of eternal happiness if they were worthy.
9. Ralph Levis wrote “from man’s very beginning, he was aware of the mysterious ‘unknown’. He has been fascinated by phenomena within himself and the world around him which seem inexplicable”. He continued “The mysterious, the unknown, has had various effects upon man, one is fear.
10. Fear is caused by something which exists at least in man’s own mind, over whose effects he appears to have no control. Ways and means, then, are imagined and undertaken to placate the unknown power or to master it”. In the worshipping of those gods, there is a dichotomy between the formalized traditional approach and its mystical origin.
11. Many of the traditional believers believed in the existence and potency of those deities and there was a segment of the society then who were privately initiated, who were empowered to perform the mystical and ritualistic functions required for such celebrations. There are rules and regulations as in any organization or setting that guides the normal practice and worship of those deities.
12. These rules and functions guiding the principles of traditional worship tends to elevate the groups consciousness by hallowed rituals, but with endless repetition; worship tends to degenerate into magical or mystical incantations designed solely to curry favour from a reluctant deity.
13. With advancing civilization, the number of worshipped deities shrank. The great monotheistic religion of the near East brought about the worship of one God as the creator and supreme ruler of the world. History revealed that the ancient Egyptian ruler, Akenhaten (Amenhotep IV) who existed between 1375 – 1358 BC was a ‘Religions Revolutionary.
14. He spent so much of his time trying to upset the established traditional religious order in his kingdom. The Egyptian Pharaoh emerged from superstitious belief and adulatory to the establishment of the belief in one God. He was historically believed to be the first one to declare that there was a ‘sole God’. He was regarded as the son of the sun who saw through tomorrow. This statement stands to be proved as it may be mere speculations.
15. This revolutionary change, the belief in the existence of one God brought about a revolutionary thought pattern which had a great declining effect towards the worshipping of traditional gods. This change created a room for the emergence of avatars that came with inspiring messages.
16. Legend or reality clarified it that at a point known as winter solstice (December period) which we call harmattan period in Nigeria, the great minds known as avatars appear on earth. Also it is also on record that at this period of the year, festivals celebrating these avatars take place.
17. The question arises-why is it at this period of the year that these various celebrations take place, i.e. people of different nations, cultures and religions take time and holidays to worship those great minds whom they regarded or believed to be their god or redeemer. The Christians celebrated the birth of Jesus which they call Christmas while the Germans celebrate the Yule festival. Scandinavians celebrate the feast of their god called the Freyr, the Druids in Great Britain celebrate the birth of Mithras.
18. It has been universally believed by great thinkers, philosophers, mystics, religionists etc that this period remains the time when those believed to be light unto the world normally appear on the earth plain. Record (not authenticated) had it that all those avatars born at that period came with great knowledge and distinct revolutionary messages which had in many ways affected the human race.
19. People like Buddha was born at that same period by the virgin of Maya, in ancient Egypt, Isis, Queen of Heaven and also a virgin delivered her son at that period, Osiris was then born of the virgin Neith. Bacchus or Dionysus was born of a virgin on the 25th, and Adonis according to early church writers was born in a cave in Bethlehem.
20. Jesus was also born of a virgin called Mary at that same period of the year. Legend also had it that Hercules was also believed to be born at that same period and in this generation (which has proofs), another Avatar in the person of Apostle Peter Odoemena was born at the same period. All these historical facts have definitely made it clear that God never makes a mistake. These great minds had been coming and going like a recurring decimal.
21. The birth of Jesus, who later became Jesus the Christ and his death heralded Christendom. He came as a human being, lived as a man (was carrying the totality of God head in his day) and also died as a man.
22. In the Archeological and historical writings of the Talmud, an extract informed us that, “He taught the people that there was but one living and true God, and that his father was emerged into his physical being and could manifest himself only through him”.
23. He proclaimed to the hearing of everybody that he is God which brought about his death, for that statement was too heavy for them to bear at that time because prior to his birth, the Jews had been worshipping an imaginary god (spirit) and their expectation of where their promised messiah will come from did not conform with the place and circumstance of the birth of Jesus.
24. Malcolm Muggeridge in his book, “Jesus the man lives”, he wrote, “God designed to take on the likeness of a man in order that, henceforth, men might be encouraged to aspire after the likeness of God, reaching out from their morality to his immorality; from their imperfection to his perfection.”
25. His messages of that hour weren’t palatable to the Jewish Nation and their leaders and that made them to react the way they did. They couldn’t accept him as their savior because of their preconceived ideas. They saw him as an impostor who came to destroy the established laws of their religion and institute another form of worship which they believed whole heartedly that might truncate their already acceptable norms and beliefs.
26. Jesus was aware of how their society worked, of the forces of cupidity and aggressiveness which shaped human behavior. Hence his great mastery of vivid imagery and the way he told stories allegorically was the greatest instrument he used to pass his messages across.
27. That method staggered the intellectual minds of that day and also upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart. At the end of his ministry, he gave way by dying on the cross on Mount Calvary.
28. After many years of his death, the Bible came into existence and later many translations followed .J.D. Shams wrote in his book, “Where did Jesus die,” I quote “The Bible were written very many years after the crucifixion, when it must have been very difficult for the writers to make an accurate record to collect reliable and trustworthy data from the welter of hazy impressions formed in their minds during the rapid succession of events which culminated in the climax of Calvary”.
29. Then came the Seven Church Ages. The era of the Seven Church ages had the seven churches and their messengers. Ephesians age, known as the derived one, talked about faith, was in Turkey, in the region of an ancient Greek. This age began in 53AD and Paul was the messenger.
30. The second church age, the Smirtra age (AD 170 – AD312) meaning bitterness or myrrh was associated with death because the Christians here were dying and it was regarded as the persecuted Church.
31. Irenus or Irenacus was the messenger of that age. From that age to Pergamos age (AD 312 – AD606) was regarded as the Reformation Age. Martin’s teachings was based on the just shall live by faith.
32. Martin spearheaded the reformation age by printing the Bible at that age. This age was followed by the Thyatira age between AD 606 – AD 1520 and the messenger of that age was Columbia. This was the age of the rule of harlots.
33. The Pope then was guilty of immoral sex act which resulted in his fathering scores of illegitimate children. This was regarded as the Dark Age. It was indeed the darkest period in history. This was the age of Pope Innocent III who instituted the INQUISITION.
34. Then the next age was the foundation of Papacy rule and the period of false doctrine. This was called the Sardis Church age which Martin Luther was the messenger. This age spanned through AD1520 – AD 1750.
35. From here we moved to the Philadelphia age which John Wesley was the messenger. It was active between AD 1750 – AD 1906. The seventh Church age which the messenger was William Marion Branham was known as the Laodicea age (AD 1906).
36. This last messenger was the man who prophesied about the coming of God man in person, as a black sheep, from the dark continent of Africa in this generation. His prophesies were divine and the spirit of God has confirmed them to be true and flaw-less. This laminated personality came into the earth plain towards the end of last century, and was revealed in his chosen place of abode which was in his Church.
37. The coming of the Bible, followed by many translations and various inconsistencies actually brought about the emergence of different theologians and reformers who believed that the method or mode of worship in the Christian Church at that period (and still the same today) wasn’t in concordant with the real teachings of Jesus.
38. The Bible was written to suit the minds of the Christian practitioners at that period. There are many inconsistencies and contradictions which the Bible portends that created disastrous negative proof of their contents being doubtful, however the hyperbolic exaggeration created an avid discoloration of the entire movement and people who disagreed started moving away.
39. Such reformers as Wycliffe John, born 1377, an English religious reformer spent the later part of his life in attacking the worldly powers and the evil life style of the clergy and soon collected a large band of followers who became known as Lollards. The first complete translation of the Bible was credited to him and he did much to influence the protestant reformers.
40. John Huss was born in 1369, a Bohemian religious reformer. The state of the church in Bohemia was no better than it was in England and so he tried to reform the church which caused him his life. He was burnt at the stake on 6th July, for refusing to abandon his aggressive preaching method which the Pope termed heresy. Savanorola Girolamo was an Italian religious reformer, born 1452.
41. He attacked high level of corruption in the established church and its worldliness. Because he was attacking the character of the Pope, Alexander VI, he was captured, tried and found guilty. His sentence was severe; he was tortured, hanged and then burnt at the stake.
42. Zwingli Ulrich was a Swiss religious reformer. He questioned the teachings and practices of the Roman Catholic Church. He introduced his faith in Zurich and it was then accepted.
43. Many other reformers couldn’t accept the platform upon which the Catholic Church was practicing their religion and worship. People like Tyndale William, born 1495, an English preacher being influenced by Luther’s attack against the Church of Rome, wanted to play a part in bringing the reformation to England.
44. He translated the New Testament into English and had it printed in Germany. In 1536, he was imprisoned and later burnt at the stake. Michael Servetus, Spanish religious reformer was born in 1511. He fought severely and vigorously the doctrine of the Trinity (father, son and the Holy Ghost in one person), nor could he favour infant baptism. He was caught, tried and burnt at the stake as a heretic.
45. Another gallant reformer was Melanchthon, born in 1497. He was an ardent supporter of Martin Luther. He worked to see if the reformed faith and the Roman Catholic faith could be reconciled, and Christianity thus united, but it was not possible because even today Christendom is still fragmented on issues, doctrines and mode of worship.
46. Many other reformist as French John Calvin, Scottish John Knox, French Gaspard Decoligny, Spanish St. Theresa of Avila, John Wesley – English founder of Methodism, all did their best to see if they could challenge the Church of Rome but all they could achieve was to form a splinter group leaving the arrow head, Pope, still in control of the Christian movement.
47. After that era came the Pentecostal age which saw the emergence of vibrant preachers of many colorations, sham and design, preaching the gospel from their own standpoints. This period saw the expanded polarization of churches with diverse beliefs, ideas and opinions and each trying to outclass the other. This movement started from the United States of America and spread like wild fire to Europe and engulfing the entire continent of Africa and Asia.
48. This era started with prosperity ministries that had caused the divided church order to be more fragmented. Every building, warehouses, available space were turned into churches and all magicians, native doctors, applicants, occultists, metaphysicians etc became pastors or overseers because of the quest to become rich. Thomas Paine said “I believe in the same manner to this moment; and I moreover believe that any system of religion that has anything in it that shocks the mind of a child cannot be a true system”.
49. Pentecostalism, has it not shocked the mind of a child? Has it not shocked the minds of adults? The answers are with us. So this background has illustrated man, his worship and his artificial gods. As we approach this paper, we would be able to look at religion her standpoint, science – its contributions negatively and positively towards the advancement of mankind.
50. Also, we would see the contrasting point between science and religion. Finally, with scriptures, records and present truth, we will try to see how Almighty God stands above religion and science.
51. I don’t have all the facts needed to delve into this work effectively. Man has no control of his life and actions, so, can I say I am fated to write this.

OVER-VIEW OF SCIENCE AND RELIGION IN CONFLICT
Longman Contemporary English Dictionary defines creator as “Someone who makes or invented a particular thing; and creativity as “the ability to use your imagination to produce new ideas, make things e.g. artistic creativity” and also creation as “the act of creating something” and in another meaning “the act by God according to the Bible of making the universe, including the world and everything in it.”
2. Genesis 1vs 1-31 (LB) made us to understand that Almighty God created everything both animate and inanimate that inhabit the earth.
3. “When God BEGAN creating the heavens and the earth, the earth was at first a shapeless, chaotic mass, with the spirit of God brooding over the dark vapours.
4. Then God said “Let there be light” and light appeared. And God was pleased with it, and divided the Light from darkness. So he let it shine for a while, and then there was darkness again. He called the light ‘daytime’ and the darkness ‘night time’. Together they formed the first day. And God said, let the vapours separate to form the sky above and the ocean below. So God made the sky, dividing the vapour above from the water below. This all happened on the second day.
5. Then God said; “Let the water beneath the sky be gathered into oceans so that the dry land will emerge”. And so it was. Then God named the dry land ‘earth’ and the water ‘seas’. And God was pleased.
6. And he said; “Let the earth burst forth with every sort of grass and seed –bearing plant, and fruit trees with seeds inside the fruit, so that these seeds will produce the kinds of plants and fruits they came from”. And it was and God was pleased. This all occurred on the third day.
7. Then God said “Let there be bright lights in the sky to give light to the earth and to identify the day and the night; they shall bring about the seasons on the earth and mark the days and years”. And so it was. For God made two huge lights, the sun and moon, to shine down upon the earth – the larger one, the sun, to preside over the day and the smaller one, the moon, to preside through the night; he also made the stars.
8. And God set them in the sky to light the earth, and to preside over the day and night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God was pleased. This all happened on the fourth day.
9. Then God said, “Let the waters teem with fish and other life, and let the skies be filled with birds of every kind. So God created great sea creatures, and every sort of fish and every kind of bird. And God looked at them with pleasure and blessed them all. “Multiply and stock the oceans”, he told them, and to the birds he said, “Let your numbers increase. Fill the earth.” That ended the fifth day.
10. And God said “Let the earth bring forth every kind of animal – cattle and reptiles and wild life of every kind. And so it was. God made all sorts of wild animals and cattle and reptiles. And God was pleased with what he has done.
11. Then God said “Let us make a man – someone like ourselves, to be the master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas.” So God made man like his maker. Like God did God make man; man and maid did he make them. And God blessed them and told them “multiply and fill the earth and subdue it; you are masters of the fish and birds and all animals. And look! I have given you the seed – bearing plants throughout the earth, and all the fruits trees for your food.
12. And I have given all the grass and plant to the animals and birds for their food. Then God looked over all that he had made, and it was excellent in every way. This ended the sixth day”. Here God ended his creative works.
13. On the seventh day God rested and made that day holy. Let’s have a look on the significances of numbers 6 and 7 and see if we can relate this significance to God and his creations.
About number 6
Almighty God created all things in six days and there must be reasons for that which only he knows. We can in our mundane thinking try to see if these members can be related to him and to the great works he did.
14. Number six is believed to be a number of competences, balance, perfection and luck. It also symbolizes beauty and high ideas. This is a number regarded as mother number and essentially, a working, building number. Responsibility and service are also its qualities which need to be achieved through love, nurturing and perfection.
15. From this definition we can deduce the fact that Almighty God through ultimate love nurtured his ideas to perfection which he masterly brought to competence. Plato called the study of number symbolism “the highest level of knowledge”. Pythagoras believed numbers “had souls, as well as magical power and also acknowledge number 6 to be the first perfect number”.
16. In mathematics, a perfect number is when all the numbers divisors (excluding the number itself) are added, the sum equals the number itself i.e. 1+2+3= 6 and also, it is believed that “when in addition including the number itself and dividing by two, the result is the number itself (1+2+3=6)/2 = 6. The ancient Greeks recognized four perfect numbers as 6 – 28 – 496 – 8,128.
17. Six is also a symbol of luck, the highest number of the dice. We always refer to “the sixth sense”, when meaning hunch or instinct. The number 6 personality likes to work in slow, deliberate and orderly manner. They don’t like to be rushed, and demands that their personal affairs be kept in order.
18. All these illustrations, definitions and calculations are to enable us see if we can relate the numerical number 6 to actions of God towards the creations he made. This is mere human knowledge that cannot be proved but the actions around the number 6 are all positively inclined towards the goodwill of Almighty God. This analysis is to enable us reason why God choose No 6 as the day he decided to conclude creation.
About number 7
19. About number 7 which was the day God rested, there are many numerical references in the Bible, Koran and other books but there is no where it was revealed why God decided to rest on the 7th day.
20. All we can lay our hands upon were the activities surrounding number 7 in those holy literatures that was mentioned. The reason remains a mystery but for this discourse we will mention those verses and chapters that reveal the use of number 7. This will make us to start thinking or reflecting why 7 was special to God, because most of the things he did and instructed really anchored mostly on number 7.
21. We have the 7 colors of the rainbow. In Islamic religion, during the ritual of Hajj, the pilgrims who travel to Mecca always walk around the Kabba 7 items. That is a reminder of Hagar, the mother of Ishmael when she deliberately ran between two hills in search for water to save the life of her child. In Qur’an chapter 18, we can also read about the 7 sleepers as told by Mohammed. We were told that God sent an angel Gabriel to reveal the story of the 7 sleepers to Mohammed. The name of chapter 18, is “the cave”
22. In Judaism, according to Exodus 25:31-40, which is regarded as the Menorah; a symbol of Judaism for 300 years, God instructed them thus: “And you shall make a lamp of pure gold and there shall be six branches going out of it sides, the branches of the lamp standing out of the other side of it”. The seven branches of Menorah is a reminder of the words Prophet Isaiah, in the book of Isaiah 42:6 say “to be a light to all nations”.
23. In the book of Revelation in the Bible we have various instances that make references to number 7. In Rev. 2:1, we have the seven Golden lamp stands. In revelation 3:1, it talks about the 7 spirits of God and 7 stars. In Revelation 16:17, the trumpet called to be sounded by the 7th angel and also in Re. 21:9, we can read about the 7 angels who had 7 bowls full of 7 last plagues. There are many of them.
24. In Rev. 10:4, we hear about the 7 thunders, in Rev. 5:1, the lamb breaks the 7 seals and in Rev. 8:2 we can also read about the 7 angels standing before 7 trumpets given to them. We can go on and on giving notable instances about the number 7 and its appearances in many chapters of the Bible. Let me site few more examples from other verses of the Bible.
25. In 2 kings 4:35, we read about the boy sneezed 7 times and opened his eyes. In Ruth 4:15, we read also about Ruth being worth more than 7 sons. Na’aman the leper dipped himself 7 times in the river Jordan and was cleansed. This episode can be read in 2kings 5:14.
26. In Genesis 7:2, Noah was instructed by God to take with him 7 parts of all clean animals and also in Genesis 7:3 to take 7 pairs of birds of the air into the ark and in the following verse 4 of Genesis 7 God said “for after seven more days, I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made”.
27. No 7 is one of the most holy numbers and also signifies 7th day of rest as clearly stated in Exodus 16: 29-30.
28. So God deals with numbers as we can see from all the instances we have given in this paper. He was a great mathematician and all he does are laced with numbers. He timed everything he created mathematically and that’s why they all have a unique balance, perfection and fastidious in finish.
29. Numbers played very important and hidden functions in Gods plans. In Genesis 7 verse 4 He said for after seven more days, I will cause it to rain in the earth forty days and forty nights”.
30. Our God is a tremendous creative God; a God that no one can fathom. All his creative works which were placed in numbers were highly fascinating. Watch the systematic and mathematical procedures through which he created all things that he created. He was taking them one after the other because he loved what he was doing and with precision and order, he placed them in their order of merit and functionality.
31. Many ancient philosophers believed that there is strength and power hidden in numbers, so if that is true, one can then reason that God purposely spread out the creation load by allotting six days for all his creations to be completed. He planned how to start and how it will come to an end. He is like an artist who wants to start a painting.
32. He first of all conceive the theme, think about the materials he will use and then visualizes how he wants the work to come out. From this practical point of view, he proceeds to actualize what he has conceptualized. So God knew what he was doing; not that he cannot cluster all the works in one day but to achieve an effective and a harmonious result, he needed to space them out.
33. Any work rushed must show signs of it but when time, creativity and endurance are applied, the beauty of the work must reflect, revealing the process it went through. God gently started by creating the sunny – warm day and the chilly – dark night and he then went ahead to create the sky and ocean. He continued by creating the seas and the plant fruit. These plants fruit was to provide fruits for man and other creatures to consume, very loving God.
34. We were told in Genesis that on the third day, God said “let the waters beneath the sky be gathered into oceans so that the dry land will emerge”. And it was so. When God made that proclamation and the waters obeyed and gathered together, there was likelihood from a layman’s point of view that thousands of tons of water must have rolled, tumbled, roared and cascaded while trying to find another space to occupy – nature abhors vacuum.
35. So the natural and scientific laws that must have played a part in that scenario must have been insulated because where was the excess water moved to? The water must have been compressed so that the land will appear. The volume of water displaced, mysteriously disappeared. God is mysterious and his ways are mysterious.
36. Some scientists may start to reason; bearing Archimedes principle in mind but that can’t be so. To reason on that line, one must know the land space that appeared to enable the scientists determine the water volume displaced. One cannot assume anything. The only solution is to try to ask God, if you can see him to give you the accurate data of the landmass recovered and he alone will tell you how and where he emptied the collected volumes of water. Period.
37. God went further to create the sun and the moon, the fishes, sea creatures and the birds of the sky and he made man like himself to govern the earth and all the created things inside it. All these were done in extraordinary clarity. Neither words nor gesture are adequate to describe all these ingenious, creative and innovative masterpieces.
38. Behind all these dignified and appreciative creative pieces of works God executed, there should be a well laid out plan before he executed all. All his created works were all planned out in a complex and convivial atmosphere, portraying an adequate conceptual model.
39. Now let us think about all the beauties he spread across the earth in many shades and forms through which he weaved the seeable universe together. These creative works which Almighty God has created will make us to realize that the past gives us the identity of Almighty creator while the present with his current messages and revelations holds only the promise. Great promises indeed which is not a figment of the imagination but truth that is shinning its light on all that he created.
40. The illuminating light reveals the colors and forms of all the created things in this universe. One may think aloud that as he was placing all his beautiful ideas in a harmonious sequence, he might also have thought about the color harmony each created thing will bear.
41. Colors add beauty to everything living or non-living and God was aware of this so he made the sky to be dominant blue but there are other colors that reflects on the sky which harmonizes among themselves depending on time and movement of the heavenly bodies. The blue which is the dominant color has a symbolic meaning of peace and tranquility, trust and harmony, energy and calm. There are many variations of blues and all portray cozy and corresponding tonal effect on the sky.
42. The blue colors of the seas and oceans vary in tonal qualities depending on differences of the geographical zones. Watch the radiant energy of the yellowish sun, signifying bright, happy and joyful purity. It shows optimism, idealism and hope. It signifies also courage and personal power but the moon with its lower radiance as compared to the sun in intensity still radiates its own dynamic color of orange which has a combination of yellow and red, because of its weak radiation of light, in the night the moon portrays the earth esthetically as a beautiful wrinkled landscape.
43. Both the sun and moon remained fixed and immutable by the Almighty hand of God, and each appears on the horizon at the appointed time. They were fixed not by philosophical, theological or scientific postulations and methods but by unfamiliar mathematical formula which will ever remain a transcendental experience beyond human comprehension. The processes God used in establishing these physical created manifestations were enshroud in mystery.
44. The grasses and plants he created are not of the same species, which spanned endlessly across the entire universe. Leonardo Da Vinci, an Italian celebrated creative artist has this to contribute:- “To such an extent does nature diligent and abound in variety that among her trees there is no one plant to be found which is exactly like another; and not only among the plants, but among the boughs, the leaves and the fruits. You will not find one which is exactly similar to another”.
45. This statement goes ahead to support my stand that God is mysterious in his ways. He displayed these mysterious characteristics in his entre creations. He proved that he will ever remain the super creator. He did all these intricate designs from nothing and God never relied on the power of invented computers to perform his visual gymnastics.
46. There are various species of grasses and plants in many parts of the world and though some may have other beautiful colors but green remains the dominant color. Green is the combination of yellow and blue and it is regarded as the verdant color of nature and environment. Its symbolism is health and renewal. The tranquil nature of grasses, plants and trees are seen because of the effect of colors on them.
47. We cannot stop marveling about all these wondrous creatures that we behold with our eyes physically. Which among them will we talk about? Is it the beautiful flowers with different species, aroma and colors or the great sea creatures that fill the seas, rivers and oceans which make up the marine population?
48. Do we talk about the sea mammals that are created with specialized skin texture that are smooth and rubbery to permit them endure continuous exposure to salt water, and also to move through the water with a minimum of friction from individual water particles? They live in different regions of the earth, experiencing different climatic changes and challenges. Reptiles, insects, rodents were also created.
49. When we admire all these beautiful creatures, one will come to appreciate God as a super – versatile artist. Pablo Picasso, a renowned creative artist wrote, “God is really another artist. He invented the giraffes, the elephants and the cats. He has no real style. He just goes on trying other things”.
50. When we admire the beautiful butterfly, we will marvel at the intricate designs created on the entire body of the various species. Who gave them those designs and how did Almighty God design all those various species uniquely? Tremendous; and that’s the reason why the ancient philosophical problems will still remain unsolved – the problem of trying to fathom God and understand his ways – impossible.
51. God finally created a virile man in his own image and likeness. Image, represents form and likeness, spiritual. Here form – function and spiritual expression had evolved together in a most mysterious way. Man increased by reproductive process, mathematically multiplied and filled the earth forming empires, nations, towns, continents with different forms and shade of life, culture and reasoning.
52. There are various languages spoken all over the world. It is estimated that about 6,500 languages or more are spoken in the world. All these languages emanated from one source from God. If not, from where and how?
53. By the multiplication of human race on earth, people were placed by nature in different regions and zones of the world with different characteristics and experiences. The Eskimos were place in that region where they are surrounded by an armada of ice and cold. How are they surviving those harsh environmental conditions? Who is sustaining them from that harsh climatic condition? There are those inhabiting very hot regions and they are still surviving. Marvelous indeed!
54. When we look at all those events, can’t we conclude that there is a perfect master who is the astute controller that controls and manipulates the events in the universe. Son of Man, Apostle Peter Odoemena said “there is a supreme intelligence that controls the whole universe; the creator of Heaven and Earth and the fullness thereof.”
55. This statement is culled from the message – IF YOU WILL HUMBLE YOURSELF IN THE HAND OF ALMIGHTY GOD. In Genesis chapter 1 verse 2, it is written “and the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (K.J).
56. The spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters while he spoke created things into existence. By the spoken word he created all these things, seen and invisible, that inhabits the earth. At the end of every stage, he will admire what he has done and proclaim “It is good”.
57. One can add that Almighty God, the creator of Heaven and Earth played a great melodious and vibrating music with his holy voice which produced the stimulating words that steered the ether that turned the empty primordial mass of water into something incredible to believe and admirably alluring. One cannot but feel relieved at the originality of the entire spectrum.
58. As we move into chapter two, we will look at science and religion, their conflict and relationship. Chapter three will deal with God and science. This appraisal will enable us to review the works of the scientist, their vision and belief system towards God and his created works.
59. In chapter four, we would be able to balance our discussions with Biblical quotes about God and the creation of the world against most appalling scientific views.
60. Chapter five would take us into looking at the God of this age, Apostle Peter Odoemena, the very Son of Man and his bold statements about God and his creation of the world.
61. While trying to conclude, we would navigate through all the previous chapters with a view of seeing if we can be able to place scientists and God in their appropriate positions.

SCIENCE AND RELIGION
Science can be defined as “a body of empirical and practical knowledge about the natural world, produced by scientists who emphasize the observation, explanation, and prediction of real world phenomena”.
2. Science can also be referred to as “that aspect of study that consists of the formulation and testing of hypotheses based on observational evidence; experiment are important where applicable, but their function is merely to simplify observation by imposing controlled conditions”.
3. We can also add another definition that “scientific processes are the ways scientists investigate and communicate about the natural world. The scientific body of knowledge includes concepts, principles, facts, laws and theories about the way the world around us works”.
4. People as we were informed began to attempt to record some observations of the world with numerical data around 3500BC. The Sumerians (Now Iraq) began this move but their observations and measurements were apparently taken for purposes other than for scientific laws.
5. Previously people investigating the natural phenomenon called themselves natural philosophers until in the 19thC when William Whewell first coined English word for it, and then they were called scientists. Notably, empirical investigation of the real world has been described since classical antiquity by Thales, Aristotle etc and also scientific methods have been employed since the middle ages by Ibn al-Haytham and Roger Bacon.
6. Thales who lived between 640-546BC was regarded as “the father of science”. This pre-Socratic philosopher was the first to postulate non-supernatural explanations for natural phenomena and that is “that the land floats on water and that earthquake are caused by the agitation of the water upon which the land floats, rather than the god Posedon”
7. Islamic scientists, famous in their individual researches were not left out during that period of scientific evolution. People like Al-Farabi and Nasir al-Din al-Tusi were highly interested in polymath, Abu al-Qasim al-zahrani was a pioneer of surgery, Abu Rayhan al-Birini pioneered the science of Ontology and anthropology while Ibu Khaldun was the forerunner of demography-the study of human population and the ways in which they change. That is an aspect of social science.
8. The Islamic scientists made remarkable contributions in sciences during that era but that came to an end when their intellectual centre in Baghdad, the capital of the Abbasid caliphate was destroyed by the Mongol conquest of 1258. That marked the Islamic Golden age.
9. Earlier philosophers like Pythagoras who was regarded as one of the greatest of Greek philosophers, Socrates, an Athenian who was one of the greatest philosophers the world had ever known; also several divergent schools of thought regarded him as their founder and Plato who founded a philosophical school in Athens known as the ‘Academy’ were the philosophical actors of that century.
10. The new Webster’s Dictionary said that “the Platonic doctrine that has most influenced philosophy is the theory of ideas. But his enormous influence springs equally from his elaboration and classification of the laws of reasoning and perhaps most of all from his own person as an embodiment of the search for truth” Plato along with his teacher Socrates and his most famous student, Aristotle laid the foundation of Western philosophy and science, though their foundation for science and theories that were drawn from scientific speculation were ephemeral.
11. Because of that, their efforts were short lived. The reason was that they were not concerned in scientific investigations but they were more concerned in investigating the causes and effects of what happened around the universe. Their thinking at that time centered more on philosophizing why and what are the reasons the world came into being.
12. After the death of Aristotle in 332BC, the philosophical quest and reasoning began to give way to scientific researches. Aristotle, before his death had his philosophy grew away from the idealism of Plato and became increasingly with science and the phenomena of the world. But all his ideas were basically theoretical and had no empirical base.
13. With the emergence of Archimedes, a Greek mathematician, physicists, engineer, inventor and astronomer in 287BC, new revolutionary thinking started to emerge. With his new principle, he began a new movement where man can obtain empirical evidences by experimenting and investigating the natural world around him and that (he believed) will conclude all logics. He was the first to apply mathematics to physical phenomena. That was in ancient period.
14. During the T, ang dynasty in China AD650, wood printing blocks was invented and that led to the first earliest printed book known as the Buddhist scripture (the Diamond Sutra, which was found in a Turkestan cave in 1900).
15. It is believed in some schools of thought that Galileo was one of the foremost exponents of modern experimental science because of his earliest discovery of the isochronisms (regularity) of the pendulum. After him more discoveries in science followed with the invention of the microscope, by Jansen in 1590; the discovery of the blood circulation by Harvey William in 1628, and with the publication of Isaac Newton’s ‘principia’ in 1687, more revelations about science began to emerge. It never stopped there.
16. More scientists came on the scene with their inventions. People like Rene’ Laennec, a French doctor invented the stethoscope in 1816, Michael Faraday discovered electrical induction in 1831, while Thomas Edison, an American inventor, invented the phonograph in 1878.
17. As we approached the early 20thC, more scientists like German physicists, William Konrad von Rontgen made an important discovery of x-ray in 1895.
18. In 1898 French physicists Pierre Curie and his wife Marie discovered the radium, German physicist Albert Einstein and his special theory of Relativity in 1905 began the scientific revolution.
19. From this point advancement in science began in earnest with John Logie inventing the television in 1926, Sir Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin in 1928 and the search extended into space exploration. In 1961 Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was the first to orbit the earth in the space craft, vostok I.
20. There were serious conflicts between science and religious belief during the dark ages. These conflicts centered more on mythological cosmogony, false ideas and the origin of the universe. Religious traditions revealed in rabbinical literatures, Christian theology and Islamic publications tend to fight the results or natural investigations by earlier philosophers and scientists.
21. Science had from the beginning three main opponents the academic left, the religious right and the common sense. The academic left were occupied by the natural philosophers and the religious right by the catholic church (orthodox), while the common sense, this group was controlled by scientists like Galileo with their theory of “Heavier objects fell faster than light ones.
22. The religious groups never accepted scientific postulations because they believed that science does not deal with absolutes, rather it deals with the realm of observable phenomena and produces principles based on its observation.
23. Both science and religion apply different method in their individual practices. While science acknowledges reason, empiricism and evidence, religion applies revelation, faith and sacredness. Scientists are evolutionists and religious practitioners’ are creationist. People view religion as based on nothing more than personal opinion or blind faith, and so, as immune to rational thought.
24. Most of their understandings of the world, the other group believed were drawn from subjective insight and traditional authority. “Well, it is a fact that analytic and scientific reasoning can be found exhibited in both science and religion” wrote by David .H. Koeh. He went ahead to define how science and religion relates “they have three forms of relationship. Conflict, Separation, Interaction”.
25. Conflict here shows competing for cultural authority whereby science reduces religion to a mere natural phenomenon. In the area of separation, religion accepts some scientific theories and discards some that are against their belief system. Religion believes that science formulates and deals with theories while God deals with absolute truth.
26. In the book – the Jewish religion: A companion, the Jewish thinkers have this to say “with regard to the basic problem of the scientific approach to the discovery of truth versus religious faith, Jewish thinkers, believing that all truth comes from the one God, generally refused to adopt the ‘two –truth’ theory, according to which religion is in conflict with science but each is ‘true’ in its own sphere’.
27. They continued: “The problem for religious Jews is not, therefore, science parse, but the apparent conflict between particular scientific theories and the Biblical record: for instance, between the Genesis narrative of spontaneous creation in six days and the theory of evolution, or between the great age of the universe revealed by science and the biblical chronology according to which the world is no more than 5,500 years old”.
28. Another Jewish thinker, Yehuda Shurpin have a contrary view, he wrote “for anything to be true, it must not contradict any other true statement. So Genesis and science are not both right. The light from majority of stars that hit the planet is older than 1 million years old. Genesis says that the world is only 5,500 years old. Therefore Genesis is wrong”
29. Another school of thought, the Rosicrucian order dismisses the book of Genesis as a “beautiful poem”.
30. Based on these various information, which among them would we accept – is it book Torah which wrote that “the universe is 1.4 billion years old; the Bible recorded in Genesis that the earth is 5,500 years and in science, John Philips calculations proved that the earth is 96, million years, Conte du Buffon calculated his as 75,000 years; physicist William Thomson calculated his as 20-400 million years old, physicist Herman von Helmholtz, 22 million years and astronomer Simon New Combe calculated his as 18, million years old.
31. The contradictions are clearly visible and how can that be resolved. It cannot be resolved so easily because we can find a labyrinth of pagan mythology, mixed with Judaism, Christianity, esoteric scientific thoughts and mystics in their individual claims and beliefs.
32. Science denies the existence of God and believes that the word ‘God’ is abstract object which cannot be verified while religious practitioners keep to their faith, that God exists.
33. Humanist John Dewey (1859 – 1952) co-author and signer of the humanist manifesto I in 1933 declared “there is no God and there is no soul. Hence, there are no needs for props of traditional religion. With dogma and creed excluded, then immutable truth is also dead and buried.
34. There is no room for fixed natural law or moral absolutes”. Not minding what scientists or other various thinkers believe about the religious god, the religionists still believe that their god is not a scientific explanation and he (god) is rather an ultimate explanation. Anything that would be against religion as a scientific theory would be resisted.
35. Charles Darwin, an enthusiastic naturalist had it rough with the church when he published his controversial work – origin of species. A storm of controversy broke out. The church felt he was denying the biblical account of the origin of man as found in Genesis. There were also conflict between the protestant groups and the Catholic Church. That was a serious dividing line between their various views.
36. That serious conflict caused the protestant reformists to react negatively and that helped them in destroying a source of central authority which the Catholic Church was welding then.
37. This led to various heretical ideas and teachers coming up with contradicting views about the Church and its belief. A dark cloud hung over their previous unifying assembly and each opposed the other. This brought about the work of Galileo to be published by the Jewish publishing house in Elsevier in protestant Holland while he was under house arrest in Italy by the Catholic Church.
38. It was because of the rise of Gnostic movement where scholars of different sects in the early Christian century proclaimed a rival version of Christianity that scientific scholars and researchers viewed religion as a cluster of spiritual illiterates. The Gnostic practitioners had their own views as other splinter groups. They wrote the famous Gospel of Judas in about 2nd century.
39. As religion is destroying one another so also science and religion are destroying one another. Richard Dawkins wrote “not only is science corrosive to religion; religion is corrosive to science. It teaches people to be satisfied with trivial, supernatural non-explanations and binds them to the wonderful real explanations that we have within one group. It teaches them to accept authority, revelation and faith instead of always insisting on evidence”.
40. Bahai scripture asserts that “true science and true religion can never be in conflict”. And Abdu-Baha, the son of the founder of the Bahai religion stated that “religion without science is superstition and science without religion is materialism”. He also admonished that true religion must conform to the conclusions of science.
41. Also many numerous authors have regarded Buddhism and science as compatible. Michael Polanyi held that “science requires moral commitments similar to those found in religion”. As religion is currently running a blind race, science is busy searching for the ideal formula which would comprise all the phenomena of the physical world in one comprehensive equation.
42. Religion believes that God is not a scientific explanation and that he (God), is rather an ultimate explanation. Anything that will be against the church as a scientific theory would be resisted. Charles Darwin, an enthusiastic naturalist, had it rough with the church when he published his work- Origin of species. A storm of controversy broke out.
43. The church felt he was denying the biblical account of the origin of man found in genesis. There were also conflict between the protestant groups and the Catholic Church. A serious dividing line about the view that serious conflict by the protestant reformists also helped in destroying a source of central authority which the Catholic church was welding then. For example, Galileo’s works were published by the Jewish publishing house in Elsevier in protestant Holland while he was under house arrest in Italy by the Catholic Church.
44. Many scientists believed like Richard Darwin’s that both science and religion are destroying one another. He said “not only is science corrosive to religion; religion is corrosive to science.
45. From all these contributions, it is now very clear that most religious groups and organizations had opposing views to one another as regards science as a demonstration and religion as a belief system during the early civilizations and even today.
46. There was no other religious group that could be compared to the Catholic Church in persecuting earlier philosophers and scientists. They tried to cover up by denying the fact that early church (Catholic Church) never rejected philosophical thoughts and scientific findings by the early philosophers and scientists. If that was true, then how about Darwin’s and Galileo’s episode?
47. It was on record at the middle ages, the Catholic Church that persecuted the earlier scientists, was responsible also for preserving much of the scientific methods from those civilizations thus allowing the scientific methods to develop in Europe during and after the renaissance.
48. Can’t this action of the Church be seen as criticizing with one side of the mouth and praising with the other side? Why preserve those materials you had refused to believe in or accept.
49. From these assertions, Can’t we now say that the early Christian Church was confused about what science stands for or would they be called ‘hypocrites’?, though the Hindu religion accepted that modern science is a legitimate course but an incomplete step towards knowing and understanding reality. In reality, they are all sealed in one envelope and their reports created an adverse effect on their followers.

SCIENCE AND GOD ALMIGHTY
We have defined science in the previous chapters as a process that deals with empirical and practical knowledge. Science and God are interrelated because science believes in facts, observation and prediction of the natural world while God also manifest physically and all his attribute (as a physical being) are visible.
2. The Rainbow, the cloud and all the manifestations around him have physical attributes. God operates in the spiritual realm and manifests physically while science deals with physical experiments to practical demonstration. God also deals with physical demonstration to physical manifestation. For example, Jesus healed the blind with sand – natural thing.
3. He also asked Naaman the leper in 2nd Kings 5:10 to go and take bath 7 times in the river Jordan which made him clean. Human body , reaction to water – nature plus nature. It is believed that mathematics was the foundation of science and so God applied mathematics number 7 as part of the river Jordan demonstration (Naaman the leper and River Jordan episode).
4. When the Israelites where on exodus from Egypt God was leading them as written in the book of exodus chapter 13 verse 21. “And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night”. Wasn’t the pillar of cloud and fire seen physically? Is that a miracle or scientific proof? What is miracle and what is science?
5. It was a miracle and what is science? It was a miracle because science could not believe that it could be possible and also scientific because it happened based on natural laws which God established which the scientists cannot fathom.
6. The scientific demonstration of “pillar of fire and pillar of cloud” by God will ever remain a mystery to the scientists and philosophers. God created man out of the soil of the earth as recorded by Biblical history and he (God) formed a woman from the ribs of a man.
7. The soil of the earth (physical) was used by God as an artist uses clay to model the form of a human body but the mysterious aspect is that God gave his creativity life unlike the artist’s form that remains motionless. Did God create the man through the art of invocation or metaphysical approach? No! For the woman, he made the man to sleep and from the man’s rib, by surgical operation, he formed the woman.
8. In modern science today if an operation is to be carried out, the patient I presume must be sedated first to enable him or her sleep. What God performed, was it not the first surgical operation which is scientific? Doesn’t that have a credible conclusion?.
9. All these few examples I gave was to enable scientists who disagree with the words, “God exists: should understand that God remains the basis of all scientific laws and he also established all the laws that governs the universe.
10. It was an understandable belief that God ruled/rules through orderly natural laws and of course, it is the scientist’s role to discover these laws. If they can’t, they should then bow to the superiority of God. That should make them lose weight.
11. God is an unfathomable being that created the entire universe. He is the controller and master planner of all events that happen around us daily. Through his super creative energy and wisdom, he knitted the entire universal space into one entity which is marvelous in our eyes. He has been physically present on this earth plain since the world began and this statement is verifiable and not unfounded allegations.
12. God revealing himself in the bride of this dispensation has opened our eyes to the present truth about his personality. He is in the bride as a man, teaching, directing, guiding and guarding us effectively towards the light which is not revealed to the religious minds.
13. He is revealing to us in practical terms that as an “All-knowing God”, He has remained what he has been- a scientist, an engineer, an architect, an anatomist etc. Which has been the characteristics of God since ages. With these qualities and more, God was able to create the entire cosmos and living and non-living things inside it.
14. God of this age, Apostle Peter Odoemena, the very Son of Man, made us to understand that nothing was ever created except by the creative ingenuity of Almighty God. God laced all his created works with beauty of clarity and bright sparkle of love.
15. This Sacred Being, the All-Powerful God will ever remain the Light of the world and scientist would continue to marvel at these wondrous creations. No other being has done it except Him. Colossians chapter 1 verse 16 will give us clearer vision of God and his creative ability.
16. “For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether (they be) thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him”
17. In this message titled – MY PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW ME, page 181 verse 23, Son of Man said “God is Almighty. He can do all things even things you cannot imagine God doing. He will do it because he is God, he is Almighty, he can do all things. Can you find fault with God? People at times try to limit God”.
18. With the above reassuring statements, it will be fool hardy for anyone to believe that God never existed. No matter the position one finds himself in life, whether the superfluous logical formulas he propounded either philosophically or theologically, the unverifiable scientific gibberish he expounded or experiments conducted that will enable him to conclude negatively that there never was and is, a Supreme Deity that created the entire universe is utterly rubbish and stupid.
19. Let us listen to victor .J. Stenger “in short, empirical data and the theories that successfully describe those data indicated that the universe did not come about by a purposeful creation. Based on our best current scientific knowledge, we conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that a God who is the highly intelligent and powerful supernatural creator of the physical universe does not exist”.
20. Peter Atkins, a renowned physical chemist said “I’d quite like there to be a God, especially if it were a benevolent one”, he begins, “not the one of the old Testament that would be rather grim. I would need evidence, and I see no evidence. No evidence of any kind whatsoever.
21. Sentiment is not evidence. Faith is revelations, all that sort of thing – these are just quirks of the brain that have been impressed upon it by family or culture. So why should I believe, given the absence of evidence, in the existence of this entity”.
22. Richard Swinburne explained “Suppose there is nothing, what is the most likely thing to emerge? All this total coincidence (and complexity) in the universe without there being any explanation? or first one being in control and with ultimate simplicity? I go for one simple being?” Susan Blackmore, another scientist made this remark.
23. Let us listen to her own contribution – she said that her most convincing argument is that “we don’t need him, her or it. What’s this God supposed to do? One thing is to create us in his image.
24. Now that we understand how evolution can give rise to apparent design job randomly; we don’t need God for the design job” and she continued “but it certainly takes away the major reason for the need”. I am giving these quotes to reveal the foolishness of man. Man recreating his creator. Creating Him out of existence.
25. Nobel Laureate Stephen Waniberg, an atheistic scientists made his own humorous statement. hear him “the idea of God could perhaps be thought to explain the laws of nature, but it leaves us with the same irreducible mystery … the study of nature does not provide a point to our lives … (but) if we don’t find a point for ourselves, we can love each other and find beauty in things.
26. Our tragedy is not that we’re acting out a tragic drama laid out in a script, but that there is no script. And as in the Shakespearean tragedy, the thing that makes it tolerable is the intrusion of humour”.
27. Some philosophers, theologians, religionists and scientists with a profound sense of guilt have disputed the existence of God. Their postulations are vile in nature and cannot in any way dispute the shining glory that surrounds the torrential majesty of God.
28. Their idealized senses of reason have actually created an utopian empire where only the disintegrated minds could inhabit. In philosophical thinking, the logical positivists believe that any utterance that could not, even in principle, be verified by observation was meaningless.
29. But as time moved on, philosophical thinkers led by Luding Wittgenstein, whom the positivists had previously regarded as one of their guiding spirits – began to accept the previously held views that ran counter to their norms, that there are areas in which statements may be meaningful even if they are not verifiable. Is this not profanity?
30. They never believed fully that all statements made by God cannot be questioned. There are areas they will accept and areas they will disagree. Well, this was where God came in against human wisdom. He, God had pasted and super-imposed the supposedly developed esoteric thinkers and philosophical minds with a reasoning higher than their perceptions. This brought about the confusion they experienced. They wanted to undermine the numinous presence of God in that generation. But they met a brick wall.
31. Peter Singer in his paper titled – the New Relevance of philosophy wrote:- “After we have distinguished between knowledge in the sense of having experience of, and knowledge in the sense of being acquainted with, and knowledge in the sense of comprehending truths, there still remains the skeptics old question- since we might always be mistaken, can we ever rightly claim to know anything?”
32. Another philosopher A.J. Aye wrote in – Language, Truth and Logic, a book that served as a kind of manifesto for logical positivism that “all the philosophers can do is provide definition”
33. So what the philosophers can be able to provide is only thinking and making unreasonable statements that can keep the mind somersaulting on the wrong premise of mundane understanding of God. Their collective thinking and analysis could not be able to solve the mysteries behind God and his unfathomable rivers of time and space.
34. Philosophers are not the only group concerned in this discourse – but they were the initial thinkers that sparked off scientific investigations and researches about the universe and her emergence. From their philosophical synthesis, other group of inquirers like theologians and scientists emerged.
35. All these groups (philosophers, theologians, scientists) had made villainous statements about God due to the fact they couldn’t understand the working mechanism of this mysterious being. That remains a fact.
36. William Khashane Msendevu noted in his writing that “the greatest mistake one can make is to learn of all things and not God”. Scientists have failed woefully in their inability to reveal to mankind the real purpose of human existence on this planet earth and how God was able to create the universe, including man.
37. Darwin’s theory of natural selection couldn’t untie this puzzle, so I must be convinced with scientific empirical data that God never existed or existing and that the universe was not conceived and created by him.
38. Unless this is done, nothing will ever change my conviction because I know God exists and he is moving about on this earth plain, married with children and he is a black man.
39. Scientists must first of all disprove this statement, if they can and if they refuse to accept this truth, then let them tell the world how the universe was created and by whom? They must first of all solve the brain cracking puzzle of the mysterious unknown before influencing the weak minded individuals to appreciate the inconsequential collections of their physical inventions which has no life.
40. Stephen Hawking, a former Professor of mathematics at the University of Cambridge once made these CARELESS statements, disapproving that God was not needed to create the universe. He said “God was not needed to create the universe.
41. The Big Bang was the result of the inevitable laws of physics and did not need God to spark the creation of the universe”. And he continued with his thesis which was recorded in his latest book, “the Grand design”, an extract of which was published in EUREKA magazine in the Times.
42. He wrote: “because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will cause itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing why the universe exists, why we exists”.
43. This postulation of the Big Bang hypothesis was first muted by the Jesuits Priest, George Lamaitre but he was not able to provide an authentic data to support his thesis. He should have used a pragmatic approach rather than philosophical method to support his idea(s).
44. How did he come about this fallacy?. The idea was a mirage and perforated with lies that can only be accepted by the religious minded individuals. To a realist, this void statements was very loath-some because of its’ aversive nature towards God.
45. That’s why religion is a confused gathering of people without vision and clarity of reasoning. In the ecclesiastical history of the earliest church, the Roman Catholic Church had some measure of eccentric habits noted among their popes and their priest.
46. I can cite examples to buttress my points, German Monk Tetzel Johann who lived between 1465 and 1519 was ordered by the archbishop of Mainz to go round the country selling indulgences to people in return for cash contributions to the building of the new St. Peter’s Cathedral in Rome. Was this not an eccentric action with religious motive? Savonarola Girolamo was one of the earlier reformists who attacked the Church and the pope about high level of corruption during the 15th century.
47. Pope Alexander VI (Borgia) who reigned in 1492 was highly corrupt, vicious and utterly irreligious. John Wesley, founded the Methodist Church movement because of misery associated with Orthodox Church of England, so people took to Methodism as a political gesture as much as a religious one. The Great Schism which rented the Church, 1378 – 1417 between Pope Urban VI and his successors who ruled from Rome and while an “anti-pope’, Clement VII, set up his court at Avignon, France was because the Church was/is a business organization where everyone who gets to the throne makes fortune out of the opportunity regardless of the commission he was/is given.
48. Most of them use clever but immoral methods to acquire wealth and that was why Pope Leo X, 1513, said “Christianity was a profitable superstition for Popes”. If I am correct, what he meant was that Popes are unbelievers as far as Christianity is concerned. Why the pretences?
49. Are these facts not clear? No wonder the Church was racked with the tremors of the Reformation. It was because of the Church inadequacies that reformers started emerging, challenging the papacy and the entire Church order. This caused Savonarola Girolamo, the Italian Monk and reformist we discussed before about attacking the Pope was later hung from a burning cross in the market place.
50. With a population of over 600,000,000 adherents all over the world, Moslem religion expanded massively. Through series of organized raids on Byzantine and Persian territories by Abu-Bakr, the first Moslem Caliph, Moslem religion was launched upon the world and it started expanding to the four corners of the earth.
51. This action started when Mohammed died in 632AD. The founding principle of Islam by Mohammed was the belief in one God, Allah. They are among the three monotheistic religions in the world – Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
52. Today Islamic religion like Christian religion has been fragmented into various groups with different names and belief system. One may not be surprised that these religious groups may have different cosmological belief system about the study of the origin of the universe.
53. Michael Shermer made this comment about religion and their thinking. He said “the study of comparative mythology and world religion, anthropology of religion, evolutionary psychology of religion, all show how religion is tied to culture, geography, time and place in history. All is fraught with human construction. It looks like a huge amount of evidence that we created God, not vice versa.”
54. When religion recreates God, it is no more the original God that created the heavens and earth that they are referring to. As they have different belief systems so they also have different gods. Do Judaism, Christianity and Islam exemplify their teachings through their mode of living?
55. Today all religious world is at war. Moslems are at war in almost every part of the world, In the Middle East against Judaism. It is a universal saying that action speaks louder than voice. We can give references to the actions of the 1S1S; Boko Haram groups etc. all over the world.
56. These are terrorist organizations that are perpetuating evil and horror under the cloak of religion. If the devil is not controlling all religious movements in the world, why all these atrocities?.
57. From all these negative occurrences, can one say with all honesty that religion as movements of different sects are for God or are they against God? Which is which?
58. So when Ignatius Loyola, in 1534 founded the Jesuits movement ‘society of Jesus’ with his six companions, one could ask – what was his vision for establishing such a movement? Can we interpret his vision through the statement credited to one of his followers, George Lamaitre, that the Big Bang formed the universe or can we say they had no collective vision as the Church portrays today?
59. I will not say it was regrettable for a religious priest to make such a comment, after all, what is the aim of religion? Haven’t Catholics fought wars against Catholics, against the Muslims, against the Protestants. All are recorded in history.
60. These will actually reveal who they are and what they believe. The reactive nature of the Priest suggests that religion is empty and the practitioners confused and their disintegrated nature have exposed their hidden negative motive towards God. Religious traditions vary in their response to evolution.
61. While some agree on the big bang theory, others pretend to accept the biblical revelation of God and his creative power. But Asians religious world view do not assume on all powerful creator God and they often see the world religiously as interconnected and dynamic.
62. Everybody now knows their view and not like those hanging on the fence. If there is cohesion and unity among all religious groups, why should the word ‘religious tolerance” be found in the lexicon of religious terms. So the idea postulated by the exponent of the big bang just rippled through the earth spaces, during the dark ages and some who still believe that baseless assumption are spiritually idle and satanic inclined.
63. One will even wonder why British astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle who is accredited with first coining the term “The Big Bang” during a BBC radio broadcast in 1950 will be proud enough to think like an early man whom we may forgive because of the slow developmental process of his brain.
64. I cannot accept that this respected astronomer can be associated with such unbelievable statement. He may have made the comment ignorantly. Well it has been said that discoveries in astronomy and physics have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that our universe did in fact have a beginning.
65. “According to the standard theory, our universe sprang into existence as ‘singularities; are zones which defy our current understanding of physics because nobody knows where singularity emerged from around 13.7 billion years ago. Singularities are zones which defy our current understanding of physics because nobody knows where singularities came from.
66. Where did it come from? They are thought to exist at the core of “black holes.” Black holes are areas of intense gravitational pressure. The pressure is thought to be so intense that finite matter is actually squashed into infinite density[ a mathematical concept which truly bugles the mind] These zones of infinite density are called “singularities.
67. Our universe is thought to have begun as an infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, infinitely dense, something – a singularity. Where did it come from?”We don’t know. Why did it appear? We don’t know”
68. It is now very clear that scientists only speculate but they still argue that their speculations are based on established knowledge. Well they must have ‘speculated’ rightly that the universe did in fact have a beginning. In Genesis chapter 1:1 it is written “in the beginning God created the heavens and earth”.
69. So there was a beginning but their ‘singularities’ and their existence remain a mystery to them. Why can’t they scientifically find out where it came from and why did it appear? The earliest Greek philosophers known as the pre-Socratics provided competing answers to the question found in these myths.
70. “How did the ordered Cosmos in which we live come to be”? This question will continue to torment the minds of philosophers, astronomers and scientists till eternity for they have gotten into a ditch they can’t find an easy way out.
71. Professor Stephen Hawking remains one of the hawkers and hardliners of this false hypothesis. I have to respect his views but to me his theory are mere academic exercise that has no root in the supernatural things of God. Well God, through his abundant mercies identifies with the foolishness, pettiness as well as the glory of every creatures he has made knowing the limitations and imperfections of man. High level of academic attainment has no relevance with spiritual knowledge because both are at variance to each other. It has been proved and accepted by many schools of thought that scientific proofs have their individual flaws when it concerns God and his creations.
72. Science and religion had been allied to each other since ages but this unholy agreement had been fermented, giving rise to different segment of opinions. God gave them a stretched gap to enable them sort out their differences because he (God) has never associated with religion.
73. As a scientist, he may have soft spot for scientists because he, as God is aware that they are trying with honest intention to unravel the mystery behind creation but he knows the religionist are playing a hypocritical game that provokes God whenever he remembers them. God loves those who will in sincerity declare their stand than those who shines in the day and hides in the dark.
74. In ancient civilization, there was an organized religion and scientific methods and they were pioneered by such civilization such as Greek, Egyptians, Indians and Sumerians. Egyptians worshipped the sun god and made significant advances in astronomy, mathematics and medicine, the Indians worshipped Krishina, Rama, Siva, Dutga etc, and the Greeks produced philosophers, mathematicians and astrologers who concerned themselves in understanding the world around them. They worshipped their own gods.
75. The Sumerians who later became Mesopotamia, now called Iraq worshipped the God called Allah. In science those four ancient civilizations contributed enough, while the Sumerians invented the first written language called the cuneiform, the Egyptians built the pyramids – the three great pyramids of Gizeh which stands like great sentinels in the desert, and Indians were more concerned with architecture (with intricate designs), astronomy, cartography, metallurgy, mathematics and metrology.
76. Yes, those cultures contributed their individual quotas to the advancement of mankind but where the snag was, remained that they worshipped the god or gods they cannot back up with proof or facts that those god or gods ever existed. They were all religious in their thinking and worship. Nothing less!
77. All those who are doubting the existence of God, were seeing another new world emerging from their scientific grip, a world they created out of their own imagination which they cannot fathom or say empirically, when and how it originated. This may be a fictional screen that will soon fade away.
78. Those groups of scientist who have observed that the obnoxious claim that the universe began with the big bang have now realized that the claim has no basis in current physical and cosmological knowledge.
79. They have now anchored at the port of reality with the belief that there exists a being, all powerful and creative being that was responsible for the creation of superlative reality, the earth. He controls the affairs of men. Isaac Newton believed that gravity caused the planet to revolve about the sun and he credited the design to God.
80. Another such scientist that has now realized that there is no other power except the Almighty God was Henry Fritz Schaefer Graham Perdue, a Professor of chemistry and Director of the Centre for computational Quantum chemistry at the University of Georgia. Let us read what he said about the existence of God and his marvelous creative energy.
81. “The significance and joy in my science comes in those occasional moments of discovering something new and saying to my self. “So that’s how God did it. My goal is to understand a little corner of God’s plan”.
82. Albert Einstein contributed thus “Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe – a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers feel humble”.
83. Another contributor, Alexander Polyakor, a Soviet mathematician wrote “We know that nature is described by the best of all possible mathematics because God created it”. Barry Parker, a cosmologist said thus “Who created these laws? There is no question but that a God will always be needed.”
84. He was not talking about the laws of Moses but scientific laws which God Almighty created and put into motion that man now wanted to arrogate to himself. Isaac Newton made it clear that the regulation of the solar system presupposed the “council and dominion of an intelligent and powerful being”.
85. Vera Kistakowsky, an (MIT) respected physicists contributed to this discourse with the following statements “The exquisite order displayed by our scientific understanding of the physical world calls for the Divine”.
86. Arno Penzias, a Nobel Prize winner in physics wrote “Astronomy leads us to a unique event, a universe which was created out of nothing, one with the very delicate balance needed to provide exactly the conditions required to permit life, and one which has an underlying (one might say supernatural) plan.”
87. Philosopher Rene Descarte insisted that he was discovering the “laws that God has put in place”. What I presume he was referring to was the law of nature.
88. An Astronomer, George Greenstein made a striking statement that ended with a thought provoking question. The question needs an answer from Professor Stephen Hawking.
89. Hear him “As we survey all the evidences, the thought instantly arises that some supernatural agency – or rather Agency – must be involved. Is it possible that suddenly, without intending to, we have stumbled upon scientific proof of the existence of a supreme being?. Was it God who stepped in and so providentially crafted the cosmos for our benefit?” Is it only crafting the universe? Let’s think about the mystery of conception.
90. Newsweek magazine wrote “It is quite simply, a miracle. No technique can pinpoint the momentous time of conception. No scientist can tell what wondrous force then take over to develop the organs and myriad nerve networks of a human embryo”.
91. A British astrophysicist made this great revelation “There is for me powerful evidence that there is something going on behind it all – It seems as though somebody has fine tuned nature’s numbers to make the universe- the impression of design is over whelming”. P. Dirac, a Professor of mathematics from the University of Cambridge wrote in a magazine, scientific America thus: – “One could perhaps describe the situation by saying that God is a mathematician of a very high order, and he used very advanced mathematics in constructing the universe”.
92. If we continue to enumerate all the scientists that had realized the existence of a being, a God that is still potent till today, that made all things both seen and unseen, we may not have enough space to list all but let me finally quote what Rich Deem contributed. “I was reminded of this a few months ago when I saw a survey in the journal NATURE. It revealed that 40% of American physicists, biologists and mathematicians believe in God and not just some metaphysical abstraction, but a deity who takes an active interest in our affairs and hears our prayers; “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob”.
93. We now have a sound reason to say that God exists as most scientists have now seen the light. All those who still resolve to hold fast to their scientific theories, disproving the existence of God are in another region where reason and research are their abiding focus.
94. Where can that lead them to? Their inability to achieve scientific breakthrough in critical areas that relates to God and his supernatural creations showed a significant limitation to their scientific jumbled researches that cannot be scrutinized.
95. Formerly it was stated that the world began as a hot fiery ball. This idea was later discarded. Now a modern idea suggests that the earth and its satellite, the moon were formed by the cold accumulation and compaction of gases and dust particles in space, so as the earth compacted, enough heat was generated to start certain materials breaking down.
96. These materials known as radioactive elements, release even more heat. This was the scientist former belief and now, a new wave of reasoning has taken place. It will continue like that till eternity. They cannot unravel the mysteries behind the creation science because God has hidden it away from the supposedly wise men who are concerned to the promoting and protecting of scientific ideologies.
97. The observation of Edwin Hubble in 1929 “that the speed at which galaxies recede positively correlates with their distance, led to the understanding that the universe is expanding, and the formulation of the big bang theory by George Lemaitre” The formulation of the big bang theory cannot be accepted because there is no way Edwin Huddle, professor Stephen Hawking and others can be able to prove what they don’t have full data of.
98. They have conflicting views about that. When one group of scientists are saying, “There was a bang”, another group, who call themselves experts are claiming “there was no explosion but there was (and continues to be) an expansion”. Which among them would we believe? They should try to resolve this issue.
99. Two learned Professors of different Universities Ahmed Faraq Ali, a Professor at Benha University in Egypt and Saurya Das, a Professor at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta have actually demonstrated that the big bang that was claimed by the leftist scientists to have formed the earth never happened.
100. Nothing kills than hardness of heart and the book of proverbs chapter 1 verse 7 says “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction”. Let’s reason – if the universe was initially very, very hot as the Big Bang suggests, we should be able to find some remnants of the heat. Is it not true? Those ‘over sabi’ scientists should listen to the words of J.K. Rowling who said “Understanding is the first step to acceptance and only with acceptance can there be recovery”.
101. Acceptance to the truth will help to avert the thundering climatic event that is fast approaching.
102. When sir Isaac Newton said that the universe did not spontaneously began to form but was set in motion by God, the learned professor in his new book rejected the statement and still held firmly to his stand that the earth came into existence through the big bang.
103. I still marvel how intellectualism can confuse the mind of men. It is through this process of ‘never believing’ that we fall short of the wisdom of God, that free gift he has extended to mankind. Science as we have earlier said has its own limitations but God has no limitation. He is limitless. He is able to change the course of events like an artist can alter the colors in his painting.
104. In the Bible it is recorded that God made the sun to stand still in Joshua, chapter 10 verse 13. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed until people have avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and lasted not to go down about a whole day”.
105. Has this occurrence not reveal that God can do anything. Can science be able to perform this miracle? Job 13:4 says “But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value”. I know that the next question skeptics will ask is, where you there when it happened? I will never doubt whatever I am told that Almighty God did.
106. Who am I to doubt him? The god that was able to create a man, the earth and all things inside it, how can’t he able to turn impossibility to possibility?. He has the capability of destroying the world by just a word.
107. “Without knowing the force of words, it is impossible to know more” so says Confucius. So by the spoken word God created the world and by the spoken word he can destroy it. All these scientists who were against the existence of God, to me are on a blind voyage to the land of utter darkness. They have lost their vision(s) because of pride.
108. When God gives one over to his/her own evil imaginings and desires, he/she join the ranks of the walking dead. Without God nothing could be achieved by anybody on this earth plain. TRUTH! Most of all those scientists engaged in spirit and occult practices to enable them travel astral to the outer space to collect, information, ideas and revelations. How far have they succeeded?
109. James Allen wrote “In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result”. So from their scientific researches we would like to know the result of all their efforts. I would like to ask them few questions, probably from their answers, we would be able to determine what they have achieved so far, and that may be their result. How the sun did come to be?
110. How was it hung on the cosmos and what powers it’s current? As “scientific methods are simple sets of rules that allows us to separate myth and superstition from reality, and allow us to build knowledge on a foundation of tried and tested facts,” so for us to actually separate these fallacious stories that God never existed (as they conceived) and the superstitious belief behind them, from reality, we have to undergo many processes.
111. These processes must involve question and answer series so that the truth can be actually sieved out but if we refuse to go by this process, we may come to point of argument which may, in truth lead us to nowhere. The scientist will hold to their gun while the realist who are the ones who have practical proof that God exists, stand at the other end.
112. The scientists may not be able to answer the questions because they operate within the physical reality and all their findings are limited to their level of understanding. God is a supernatural being and one must meet him in person, face to face to behold his majesty and it is then one can start believing that God actually exist.
113. When that is done, one’s eyes would be opened to appreciate God and his creative powers. Most scientists hate to discuss the metaphysical nature of the universe because they can’t rise above their level of operation. Though most of them who try to, do so for a purpose.
114. Let me just ask them the simplest of the questions. We want to know where the pillars that sustained the earth were located. They should let us know how the plants, insects, rodents and aquatic life came to be?
115. I hope they won’t hang onto Aristotle’s theory of “Spontaneous generation”, an idea which was held by biologists for centuries until put to rest finally by Louis Pasteur in the 19thC that “some organisms can spring to life from “rotting earth and vegetation, that hardly helped our understanding of life. Do we talk about the classes of languages spoken, the different geographical zones, diverse cultures and temperature? Let us listen to this statement by a research mind – Robert Wallace wrote: – “today, several zones of climate exist in the world. These various zones contain its distinctive forms of plants and animal life; and the altitude can change and only a couple of feet can prevent a living thing from migrating from one zone to another”.
116. Who made these differences? Was their manifestations accidental? Was it the big bang effect that was able to produce those activities..
117. God warned all unbelievers in Romans 1 verse 8 thus –“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all righteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness”.
118. Scientists never accepted biblical statements as factual, because they believed that by accepting the words enshrined in the scriptures, revealing the power of God, they are then abandoning rules and logics which are needed to scrutinize if there are indeed contradictions between holding certain beliefs. Can logical conclusion be applied in the things of God? Are there no contradictions in their scientific laws and beliefs?
119. Contradictions in the sense that they believe man exist but the creator wasn’t God. Was that not holding truth in unrighteousness? Believing that the ‘big bang’ as they called it could produce life remains unimaginable. How can an explosion produce life instead of destroying life? Or can their belief in the expansion of the earth plain create life also.
120. The theory of Evolution made us to understand basically that man evolved from the primates through its transmutation from early mammals. We were also made to believe or understand that most remarkable of the mammals were primates. They were of two groups, while one of the primate group, regarded as the ancestors of modern ape took to the trees and the second group, living in an open country which might be more developed evolved the characteristics of man and took to the ground, walking upright.
121. This statement, which lacks scientific facts, may have been conceived (not researched) by an illusionary and utopian minded individuals whose stance was to delude the minds of men. Let probe further, who created the primates?
122. The primates as they postulated evolved from one stage to another until the first modern man known as Cro-Magnon man mysteriously, without any history, appeared on the earth surface in Europe some 35,000 years ago. There are pertinent questions I would like to ask to enable us (non-scientist) understand the basic truth behind all those allegorical hypothesis –
a. Where did the first man emerge from? It can’t be from outer space. Was it?
b. When did he (the first man) become conscious of himself as a full fledged man with fully developed brain?
c. Was he a black man or a white man? What was his complexion like?
d. What was his means of communication – words spoken or sign language?
e. Where and when did he marry? And was there any procreation? If yes, they should endeavor to tell us the names of the wife and children?
f. Who saw him first and was able to record his age, form and behavior?
If answers to these pressing questions were based on archeological researches, we should be given the data, time and where the excavations or researches were conducted.
123. If these questions and many more bothering on this discourse can be answered effectively and convincingly, then we can start to think about the reality of their postulations, but if they can’t prove their case effectively and scientifically, then it will result into a colossal failure on their part. I don’t think any same mind will ever believe those bundle of lies which were rolled out to stifle the truth. Can it be possible? No!
124. From the story of the big bang, the (scientists) painted a picture that the first man Cro-Magnon man appeared in Europe but the Biblical history informed us that first man appeared in the Garden of Eden i.e. Heaven (because heaven is where God sojourns). It clearly defined how God created man out of the soil of the earth, so what was the big bang story all about?
125. What the scientists was trying to tell us was that the Cro-Magnon man who first appeared through the developmental stages – from the mammal to primate was God. They painted a mysterious being and so that represented their god.
126. The mystical scientists believe that ‘nothing cannot give rise to something’ which also the natural or practical scientists believed that ‘every manifestation must be proven scientifically and it must have a material beginning”. So what they are trying to make us believe is that God cannot exist without a cause and effect.
127. Can I ask another question because I believe this is a matter that requires proofs to enable non-scientists be able to understand their ideas and logic? If man actually evolved from mammal’s primate family, what hindered other primates (monkeys) from also developing into human species? What caused a group to take to the trees and another to the land, walking upright? Was there any genetic involvement or was it preplanned to be so, by whom? Please explain.
128. Let’s have an open mind and admire the truth about God who was able to create the entire universe. What should concern us is not the mystery of creation but praising and admiring the ingenuity of the master creator.
129. The selfless service and effort he employed in creating this beautiful scenery we all enjoying. What a marvelous artist, what a loving mind. A loving minded individual creates a loving environment with appealing colors.
130. Richard Rhodes in his article – miracle from the rock, related the alluring experiences he encountered during one of his expeditions, tracing the Ozark River in Missouri, USA.
131. He wrote “Even when you know how simple a mechanism, a spring is, its essential mystery is diminished not at all. I have spent whole days sitting beside an Ozark spring only to find its continuing flow more marvelous at sunset than I did at dawn. I see the water boiling up before me and daydream about the hidden conduits through which it has flowed. I fall into simple mindedness and stare, hypnotized, at the changing patterns as the water rushes out. I know that sufficient measurement and patience could probably predict every pattern of the waters passage according to laws of physics. But to me, this great upwelling of water from the ground is something neither physicist, nor artist either could have designed. It is primordial creation of nature, a connection with the very heart of nature”.
132. This was an experience a man had and it marveled him how nature manifested its essence and beauty before him. That was an inquiring mind who tried to celebrate the mysterious nature by trying to fathom the mysteries behind it. At the end, he was overwhelmed and bowed to the greater force that made all things possible.
133. As Richard Rhodes, we should channel our inquiring minds and creative energies to the glorification of God rather than trying to claim what we are not.
134. I am not in any way saying that science has not played an important progressive part in the advancement of mankind and civilization. If I do, I am not being fair and also, I cannot by denying that fact stand upright to say that God existed and continue to exist because Almighty God was the first scientist that ever lived.
135. All the scientific principles in use today were originally put in place by him. What we do today is only to imitate his marvelous works and also get revelations from him to enable mankind develop all these technological products we have today for the use of human race.
136. Son of Man in the message – BE ON THE ALERT, page 44, paragraph 76 – 77, said that “every invention comes from God. That in every dispensation, that God allotted the level of technology advancement every dispensation will enjoy and all must serve the purpose of God.
137. Thus, God allotted us to a computer age which has advanced to internet age. And God is using it as the only means to penetrate the no-go areas. For without the internet, who are you to go to United Arab Emirate (UAE) to say “Repent or perish”? That is truth.
138. So, to say that I hate science or scientists is not true. Where my grouse with them anchored was that most of the unbelieving class of scientists are now trying to rubbish the creative works done by God and some are doing all they could to disabuse the minds of gullible individuals that God never existed.
139. Apostle John said John 21:31 that “the whole world is lying in the powers of the wicked one” .Satan has tactfully organized human race in general against God. How can they be able to dislodge God’s majestic existence. Is it possible?
140. Is it by believing in the laws of evolution and natural selection or by accepting the obsolete theory of the big bang? It will remain unacceptable to the saints of God, who are realists but may be acceptable to the religious minds because they lack the truth which is indelible.

BIBLICAL QUOTES ABOUT GOD AS THE CREATOR OF THE WORLD
The paradigmatic revelation of God’s power and creative ingenuity cannot be questioned, disapproved or critically analyzed because spiritual and natural laws have reference to different levels of phenomena experienced by man. The mutinous nature of human thoughts makes man to question the existence of God and his divine creations.
2. God is the ever flowing spring whose water is life, the first emerging entity upon the holy tree of life; crown of consciousness and apex of awareness. With an incredible demonstration of love, mercy and grace God created the world for mankind to inhabit.
3. So, many who still have patches of primitive background and still think they can foist their primitive perceptions on people are deceiving themselves. People to accept holistically their banal norms and outdated belief that man evolved from the primates, and also that the world had its original form from the big bang.
4. It is hard to believe or understand that some people still accept this frivolous concept or belief system that man came from the primate family and God wasn’t responsible for the creation of the world. The Bible and some other books noted in many chapters and verses, points or reasons that had repulsed and annihilated those deceptive ideas.
5. I call them antiquated ideas because “God has fallen out of containment in religion and into human hearts. So, religious moves to counter God’s essence has already fallen by the way side. Gods presence has already put their lies in check. As Al David said “One lie has the power to tarnish a thousand truths”.
6. The God of this age, Apostle Peter Odoemena, the very Son of Man had variously painted the original truth in sparkling colors, wiping away the ludicrous lies that enslaved the minds of men for centuries with clarity and candor. His words and teachings have actually metamorphosed the existing lies into the living truth.
7. As T.S. Eliot revealed, he said “for last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice”. But we are more concerned with the present truth which will continue to echo till eternity. There is no other voice we are waiting for except this voice we are hearing now; the voice for this year and the everlasting voice. The voice of yesterday, the religious voices, have become rusted and of no more value.
8. The sense that God created the world as a self operating system is what motivated many early Christians throughout the Middle Ages to investigate nature and at the end; all their investigations were full of unbelief. They never harbored any atom of reality in their hearts because if they had any, it could have reflected in their actions and languages. Philip K. Dick wrote:- “Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away”.
9. So as Stephen R. Lawhead said “to see evil and call it good, mocks God. Worse, it makes goodness meaningless. A word without meaning is an abomination, for when the word passes beyond understanding, the very thing the word stands for passes out of the world and cannot be recalled.”
10. It will be devilish to see evil and call it good or to perceive lie and accept it as truth because the average life span of lies is perceivable. Lies are scared of light. To expose it, light must shine upon them.
11. God has finished creating the universe and the master plan cannot be faulted. The cryptic model and design he used in creating the universe will ever remain a mystery and the complexity can never be untied.
12. As man’s unwillingness to accept the truth continue to expand, his total rejection of what the scripture says about God and his Almighty creations, so will the same rejected truth continue to plumb the utmost depths of their despair or hopelessness because they prevented the truth. They have refused to accept that we mortals are in habiting the earth which is one of galaxies of the unmeasured expense which the creator allowed us to inhabit free of charge; still we are challenging him.
13. Amos 4:13 gives us an insight about God. Let me quote: – “For behold, he who forms mountains and creates the wind, who declares to man what his thought is, and makes the morning darkness, who treads the high places of the earth – the Lord God of host is his name”.
14. God is a supernatural being and his perfection entails that he lacks nothing. Man’s unbelief cannot change his enigmatic personality. So thinking that the mystery of creation can be easily comprehended by metaphysical, theological, philosophical, religious or scientific methods is a misconception and unachievable.
15. There are incontrovertible evidences that God exits and one of them is the strange design called man. A living being (not a robot) he created and breathed into him the vital life force and the multiplication of human race began. It is a fact that science and particularly geometry and astronomy were linked directly to the divine by most medieval scholars.
16. I cannot doubt this historical fact because anything science or scientific knowledge linked to God is pure truth because God remains the originator of all scientific formulas.
17. The enigmatic personality of God is inconceivable. He is the mighty energy that controls the entire universe, the mind that affect the consciousness of the entire creation; the beginning and ending of all existence. He made the world and vindicated his holiness.
18. So man in all modesty and sincerity must give due honor to him because there can never be another like him. We should bear in mind always that the life of every human being is in the center of time, for all are seen in the seeing of the Almighty, especially our hearts.
19. Let’s take a look at some of the verses in the Bible and see what was written about Almighty God and his creative powers.
(A) Isaiah 45:7 (KJ)
“I form the light and create darkness:
I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things”.
(B) Isaiah 45:18 (KJ) “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited. I am the Lord, and there is none else”. So, scientist cannot disapprove this fact because they accepted the existence of heaven with its billions of stars and that earth had a beginning. So why is the disagreement? – Let us continue.
(C) Jeremiah 10:12 – 13 (KJ) “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and had stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttered his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightning’s with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures”.
(D) Romans 1: 19 – 20 (KJ) “Because that which may be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse”.
(E) Psalms 104:24 (LB) “O! Lord how manifest are your works! In wisdom have you made them all, the earth is full of your creatures”.
(F) Psalms Jeremiah 10:12 (LB) “It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretch out the heavens”. Can we see that there must be a designer and a creator? He conceptualized, designed and created the world by his wisdom.
(G) Psalms 139:4 (LB) “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well”.
(H) Psalms 19:1 (LB) “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork”
(I) Isaiah 41:20 (LB)“That they may see and know, may consider and understand together that the hand of the Lord has done this, the Holy one of Israel has created it”.
(J) Luke 1:37 (LB)“For nothing will be impossible with God”.
(K) Genesis 1:26 (LB) “Then God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creep on the earth”.
(L) Ecclesiastes 1:9 (LB) “What has been is what will be, and what has been is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun”.
(M) Psalms 139: 13 (LB) “For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother’s womb”.
(N) Revelation 4:11 (LB) “Thou art worthy, o! Lord to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created”.
(O) Colossians 1:16 (LB)“For by him were all things created that in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether (they be) thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him”.
(P) Isaiah 40:28 (LB)“Hast thou not known? has thou not heard (that) the everlasting God, the LORD, the creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? (There is) no searching his understanding”.
(Q) Isaiah 43:7 (LB) “(Even) everyone that is called by my name for I have created him for my glory. I have formed him; yea, I have made him”.
(R) Isaiah 45:8 (KJ)“Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness, let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation and let righteousness spring up together. I the LORD have created it”.
(S) Romans 1:20 (LB) “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (even) his eternal power and God head so that they are without excuse”.
(T) Genesis 1:21 (LB)“And God created great whales, and everything creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind and God saw that (it was) good”.
20. From all these Biblical illustrations, we can now believe absolutely that Almighty God actually created the entire universe.
21. From history, it has been noticed that one of the Chief obstacles to human development is man’s boredom and ignorance, his tendency to drift and allow falsehood to becloud his imagination and vision. He becomes a slave to mind vampires –religious belief.
22. For more than two centuries now, the human mind has been constantly a prey to these energy vampires. Human beings are so used to their mental and spiritual limitations that they swallow-hook and sinker any garbage that were infused into their brains. The cause of all these are because man’s ignorance was tied to ancestral traditions and erroneous beliefs. The ignorant flock cannot decipher their ignorance.
23. This gullibility of man in accepting the vague and ambiguous ideas that man evolved from the primate family and God never created the entire universe has been the greatest spiritual challenge man (scientist, theologians, philosophers etc) are facing. From the book Unto Thee I Grant, I quote “All things proceed from God. His power is unbounded. His wisdom is for eternity and his goodness endureth forever”
24. We must be very careful trying to measure God’s transcendental wisdom by our mundane academic knowledge and religious experiences. The most destructive thing remains the words of our mouth which emanates from our thoughts. Gorge Orwell said “But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought”.
25. Words, we know, since the beginning of civilization have swayed empires, preserved the freedom of embattled people, and drastically altered the course of history.
26. Margaret Thatcher contributed thus “watch your thoughts for they become words. Watch your words for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become habits. Watch your habit for they become your character. And watch your character for it becomes your destiny. What we think, we become”. With careless words we destroy ourselves thinking we are manifesting our academic prowess.
27. A hen that covers herself with a basket, who will she accuse of trapping her? God remains the ultimate creator and nobody born or yet to be born will ever surpass the creative ingenuity of this entity. He is the oldest man and no matter ones age, you can never know more than what you are supposed to know.
28. The magnificent and paradoxical entity of God is made clearer in Isaiah, 55 verse 8-9. I quote:- “For my thought are not your thoughts: Nor your ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are exalted above the earth so are my ways exalted above your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts” and in Isaiah 45:9, God warned us thus:- “Woe to him who strive with his makes!
29. Let the potsherd strive with the potsherd of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘what are you making? Or shall your hand work say ‘he has no hands?.
30. We cannot contend with God. You must know how “Samson” you are before you can touch the tail of a lion. He is the all knowing and King of Kings for “without his deity we would not have been created; without his humanity we could not be saved”.
31. Psalms 100:3 made it clear “know that Jehovah is God. It is he that has made us, and not we ourselves”.
32. So our duty is to glorify him and accept that he alone governs the entire universe because all the living and non-living things inhabiting the earth are his marvelous creations. There is no other God like him. He remains the Celestial joker in our pack.

RE-AFFIRMING THE DIVINE WORDS OF APOSTLE PETER ODOEMENA, THE VERY SON OF MAN AND GOD OF THIS AGE ABOUT THE CREATION OF THE WORLD. (LIGHT OF THE WORLD)
Let us open up this discourse with the words from Lang Leav, though a bit corrupted but they still retain their meaning.
2. He said “One day you meet someone and for some in explicable reason, you feel more connected to this stranger than anyone else… closer to him than your closest family. Perhaps this person carries within him Godhead – one sent to you for some higher purpose; to teach you an important lesson or to keep you safe during a perilous time.
3. What you must do is to trust him – even if he come hand in hand with pain or suffering – the reason for his presence will become clear in due time”. And from the message – Revelation of the seven seals, page 265, paragraph 138, Prophet Marion Branham who foreran the ministry of Son of Man for this generation has this to say.
4. “God always deals with one individual. Two men has got two ideas. There never was two major prophets on earth, prophesying the same time. Look back and see if there was. No, sir. Too much scrupled up! He’s got to get one man completely surrendered, and use that person. He searches for that person”. From the Great Sermon (Epistle) 19, chapter 1, verse 3 Son of Man made this statement:-
5. “The Almighty, who knows all things, had already predicted how people will reject the only indispensable stone that will form the chief cornerstone of his building. Without this stone, the building will not stand. It must surely collapse”.
6. In every dispensation an avatar, known as God incarnate must appear and his mission is defined. Pre-determinism espouses that all things, actions and events were arranged to occur prior to the actual occurrence.
7. From this assertion, we can agreeably accept that Almighty God master planned everything happening around the universe since creation and all the manifestations we see today were already caused to happen at the appointed time and place. So the coming into earth plain of a reverenced personality had already being destined.
8. Apostle Peter Odoemena, the very Son of Man came in a human form so that he can disentangle us from the religious hoax and misconceptions that have held the human mind captive for ages. By revealing himself in the bride in diverse forms, he has brought a beneficial meaning to our individual lives and reasoning. His assurances and teachings have lent credence to the fact that we are actually dealing with the Supreme Deity.
9. The touch of newness in his messages transcends those fallacious voices that beguile into the uninformed minds of men. Those guile and deceitful voices of religious, theological, scientific charlatans will soon come to their deadly terminus.
10. A Daniel has come to judgment. They will all be caught in the snare for denying the truth which the messages of Son of Man have revealed. The Son of Man never paints a world of fantasy as the transgressors does but all his messages are laced with originality and candor which are diametrically opposite to the religious views about God and the creation of the world.
11. He has de-mystified the problem of whether God actually existed or if he was actually the one that created the world. He did that by unscrewing the rusted nuts that has bonded the human conscience with simplistic godly messages full of naturalness and with empirical evidence.
12. The messages have actually entangled the minds of all unbelievers. Without the wisdom radiating from this uncreated being in our midst, our heads couldn’t have been screwed on the right way and that could had led mankind to eternal damnation; a mysterious being. He is just as much divine as if he is not human at all, and just as much human as if he is not divine at all. This statement is clearly defined by the book of proverbs, chapter 8 verse 22-32 (LB).
13. “The Lord formed me in the beginning before he created anything else from past, I am. I existed before the earth began. I lived before the oceans were created, before the springs bubbled forth their waters onto the earth; before the mountains and the hills were made.
14. Yes, I was born before God made the earth and field and high plateaus. I was there when he established the heavens and formed the great springs in the depths of the oceans.
15. I was there when he set the limits of the seas and gave them his instructions not to spread beyond their boundaries. I was there when he made the blue print for the earth and oceans. I was always at his side like a little child.
16. I was his constant delight, laughing and playing in his presence. And how happy I was with what he created – his wide world and all his family of mankind. And so, young men, listen to me, for how happy are all who follow my instructions”.
17. These words above have realistically revealed the essence of this being and let’s hear his bold statements:-

I repeat: Yet, in him is the Almighty hidden.” – Believe it if you can – From the message – BLAME YOURSELF AND NOT GOD, PG5. Yes, that is God in a human body, revealing himself as a man.
u. “It is true that I am an ordinary human being in appearance. Whosoever God sends in every dispensation is God’s tabernacle. He is God dwelling place; he is where God is hiding. w. “We should be happy to identify with the revealed Christ and prophet in our midst, who is not a product of any School of prophecy as we have a lot of them today”. -From the Great Sermon – Epistle 20, chapter 2 verse 40.
x. “By grace Israel was given a savior, by grace Son of Man was given to the Bride” – Son of Man –
16. Paradoxically this mysterious being has revealed his personality to us in diverse manifestations as the All existing One, The Almighty Creator and the resurrected body. Protagonists of non-existence of God will now rethink and get back from their flight of fancy because a figment of their imagination cannot alter the established order.
17. Their scornful and derisive attitudes will hectically (If there is no change of heart) drag them deeper into the portal of darkness. They are incorrigible liars who paint their stories, researches and preaching’s with deceptive colors, lacking harmony in their speculative creativity. Is it not atrocious?
18. At the end of the day, they will accept and believe that there exists a supreme creator and controller of the universe who has revealed himself as a human being walking on this earth, breaking the laws of time and space which scientists cannot fathom.
19. He alone has the ultimate power and right to destroy the entire world if he wants to because he created it. If he decides to do it, can scientists stop him? Not possible. He remains the greatest mind ever.
20. As the psalmist said in Psalms 53 verse 1, I quote:- “The fool has said in his heart ‘there is no God’. They are corrupt and have done abominable iniquity; there is none who does good”.
21. It will be a villainous act and unethical behavior for anyone to say that God does not exist or He never created the entire universe. It will result to a piteous spectacle if these views are not aborted because there is no existing entity except God that can rise to that zenith to proclaim ‘I AM HE; THERE IS NO OTHER GREATER THAN I”
22. There is none greater than Him. At present he is on the scene teaching and revealing the truth of the hour and is the unifying factor between the Jews and the Gentiles. Man is more eager to conquer the future while he cannot control the present. In the words of Buddah, there are lots to be learnt. He said “do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment”.
23. The present moment refers to God of this age. People will start reasoning like the Jews did during the time of Jesus – How can they learn from an ignorant carpenter when they can receive higher religious wisdom from the educated Pharisees.
24. They won’t understand that God must in every way, at all times, transcend the physical world by his reasoning. The things of God are not an academic exercise like the scientists and religious adherents believe. It is always backed with supernatural occurrences.
25. Son of Man in the message – “Examine your relationship with Christ vol. 2, page 68: 65 made us to understand that “once your heart is open to the truth, you must acknowledge all supernatural occurrence to be God. Trying to explain away the supernatural occurrences means explaining away God you worship, for He is a supernatural God that specializes in doing supernatural things”. From an ancient manuscript (RH July 26, 1892) these statements are revealed:-
26. “We have many lessons to learn, and many, many to unlearn. God and heaven alone are infallible. Those who think that they will never have to give up a cherished view, never have occasion to change an opinion, will be disappointed”
27. Those who have had the opportunity of having contact with Apostle Peter Odoemena, the God of this age will not deny the fact that the real worth and essence of this God-man anchors in an exemplary and enigmatic personal lifestyle which blazes through, shines forth and is ignited by a genuine and sincere purpose towards his mission on earth.
28. Once he was revealed to the elect, the edifices of religious conventions began to crumble and his divine teachings laced with spiritual bliss began our journey to the unknown. He only knows the way. He is our template and the profundity of his had created a deep gorge between religious orthodoxy and the illuminating truth of the hour. As there is boundary between religion and God, so also there exists an extended gully between God (Truth) and modern scientific views.
29. One may be amazed at the changing pattern whenever Son of Man dishes out the word as He carefully, patiently and systematically tumble down the apocryphal legends of old. He opened the inner vision of paradise to us and is also the end of the law and the Prophets. Through his words, deeds and actions, the shining star of the hour obliterated the false clouds of yesterday.
30. These liars and those who pervert the truth may not be able to accept him and his messages because they are waiting for the arrival of another god. He may be persecuted by an atavistic and dogma-bound ecclesiastical authority but that move will finally reveal him to the world and this sole event will (if it will ever happen) place the scientists on the situation they will be asking HOW?, While the religious groups will be asking their own question WHY? HE HAS COME, HE HAS GONE.

MY CREATIVE EXPERIENCE/TESTIMONIES –JOURNEY TOWARDS MEETING GOD IN PERSON
I came into the world unknown to what talents I will express as a mere mortal. As a child I scribbled patterns on the walls with whatever I could lay my hands on. The quest to draw those patterns became the first challenge I encountered in life unaware that my father never liked the track I was following.
2. He had another vision for his first son which ran counter to what the child wanted to be in life. My father never took it kindly with me as he was always attacking me furiously and ferociously, with the hope of extinguishing the flourishing interest in me.
3. It became a great trial as I was always moved from one school to another once my exam report card contains the subject matter – fine arts. To finally achieve his ultimate aim, I was relocated to a village school Methodist Central School Agbani from Saint Andrews primary school Port Harcourt. He instructed my uncle whom I was sent to, to make sure he never purchased any drawing book and crayon for me. All other books were purchased except those two items mentioned above.
4. Once my teacher saw the talent in me, and having noticed that I don’t always participate in the class assignment, he bought those deprived materials for me; though that was done when I narrated my ordeal to him. After school, I kept those materials in his custody before leaving for home.
5. When I gained an admission into a secondary school, Kalabari National College, Buguma in present Bayelsa State, my father inquired about the subjects offered in the school but he wasn’t briefed fully so he allowed me to proceed to the school. Unfortunately for me, when our exam report go to him he noticed that, that demon he hated was offered there, then he pulled me out to another school – St Pius X Secondary School Ogoni where I was before the outbreak of the war.
6. After the war and its horrible experiences I went back to school – National Grammar School Nike where there was no art teacher to help me understand the subject to enable me enter it in the West African Examination, but to my father’s surprise, in 1974, I won the first prize in art competition staged by the then East central State Education Ministry for all the students within that geographical region.
7. East Central State then comprised of the present Enugu State, Ebonyi State, Anambra State, Abia and Imo States. The moment the result was announced and my father became aware of it, hell was let loose. His attack increased to a height that I became highly uncomfortable and I started thinking of obeying his orders finally, that is to read law but the more I decided to change my decision, the more the burning desire to read Fine and Applied arts increased in me.
8. When I secured admission to further my education, it was clear that I was on my own. He never showed any interest and he applied every available technique to frustrate my interest by stopping my feeding at home, giving me quit notice to park out of his house and when I resisted, he cut off my light. I was able to pay my first year school fees from the little savings I was able to gather through the auxiliary teaching I did for one year before going back to school.
9. After the completion of the first year my father knew and prayed that I won’t continue because of lack of funds. I for one never believed any miracle could happen. I lost every hope of going back to school. God is a miraculous entity who can do anything; a God that can change any situation. A great God in deed.
10. During that long holiday, a great miracle occurred, and that changed my life situation. The then Head of State, General Olusegun Obasanjo announced free academic scholarship to all students of Polytechnic and Technological Institutions plus Federal Government loan award to all Nigerian students in Institutions of higher learning; based on that I was able to go back to school. My father and his brother weren’t happy about that. Who made that possible? God!
11. If there was no unseen force guiding and directing my affairs, this goal couldn’t have been achieved. From then on the journey of life began and all other challenges became minor. This singular experience sustained my faith that I was not alone on that journey.
12. The second vital experience that I will not forget in life was when I was in standard three, in the primary school. On this bright sunny day when we went out for the long break, I was alone under a bread fruit tree drawing on the sand when to my surprise a heavy fruit fell off from the tree and landed on my tiny frame, at my waist (as I was lying facing downwards).
13. The sound startled all those around and even the passersby were astonished. When I was thoroughly examined there was no sign of injury both in my external or internal. The crowd couldn’t believe what they saw because no child of my age then who had that experience that would not have started heading straight away to the mortuary. Who did that miracle? God.
14. When I graduated in 1980, I began the unstoppable journey of showcasing my talent to the world. This continued until 1987 when I began the search for this God who had been with me since my childhood days. The God who was my succor and companion throughout that tortuous journey and experience I had in life.
15. I tagged the search “IN SEARCH OF ADAM”. This search took me to various towns, cities and overseas and they were heavily advertised. In my heart of heart, I had a strong conviction that, that being was somewhere unknown to mankind.
16. After my many months of searching for that being abroad, I came home through Egypt with the feeling that by accident I may run into this God there. What prompted my visiting Egypt was that the biblical history made me to believe that Egypt was God’s second home.
17. The search was illusive and I came home frustrated. I was sincerely searching for him but my problem was how could I be able to distinguish him from the crowd even if I met him. My prayer then was, please kindly reveal yourself to me because you have been a great friend and God to me. I believed he love me to be able to stand firmly behind me throughout the turbulent waters that I swam through.
18. During the war, he miraculously brought me to Enugu (a young lad), the Federal soldiers occupied territory, where I found food to eat enough and cloth to clothe myself.
19. The mystifying thing was that he placed a man who knew me while I was in the primary school as the head of Nigeria Red Cross society then. That man was in-charge of the entire refugee camp where I ended my journey. When the man saw me, he was so astonished – He imagined what brought me to the war zone? Without God I could had been buried long, long time ago. This is absolutely true.
20. When I came back to Nigeria in 1991, the then British council in Enugu decided to sponsor me for an art exhibition. I reluctantly accepted the offer because I was disillusioned that all my efforts were fruitless but I never knew that God who had been with me was coming out with another master stroke that will baffle me. I never knew that all my prayers were at the verge of materializing.
21. I took up the challenge and exhibited some great collections of works which I produced in a month. What stunned me was that I was also planning my wedding and at the same period working towards the exhibition. Both came out successfully.
22. The question now is:- How could I have achieved that feat? It became a mysterious experience to me because I knew I wasn’t the one who painted those pictures. I just signed my name on them: – It was God that executed them.
23. The exhibition ended on 21st August 1992 with this statement that was an extract from my exhibition catalogue:-“To me been an Artist is being totally autarchic, being overheard while I usually say what I know as truth beyond words.
24. The Divine manifestation in my soul and personality had exposed me to various sources of inspiration towards my chosen career.
25. I have burnt the mid-night oil, walked miles and looked into crevices, tunnels, mountains etc in search of this abstract object called Adam but it still looks elusive. I will remain loyal to my course, no matter the ups and downs involved in moving with the light.
26. The determination would help to reflect my identity as a man on-the search. A mission impossible as many may feel or “he should see a psychiatrist”, many may think reflecting human thought in its clear perspective.
27. I would continue my search with all honesty, expressing my art in different medium and technique, evolving my personality to reflect with the uniqueness of the personality i am looking for through love for all humanity. This search to come to fruition must take me to all continents of the world. A herculean task but it is a challenge which I pray to meet before my exist from this creative universe we all belong” Fryde Okoh 1992.
28. The Lord answered my prayer. The moment that exhibition ended, I never knew that was the end of “IN SEARCH OF ADAM”. No Organization, corporate body, institution, locally or internationally accepted any of my proposals for another solo exhibition. It was worrisome on my part but I couldn’t do anything about it.
29. My sales fell, everything around began to tumble. My wife was pregnant and we were expecting a baby and there was no money. I started feeling if I have offended God. Why should God abandon me at this period of time? Then I rested my hope on the words of Shannon.
30. L. Alder who said:- “You will face your greatest opposition when you are closet to your biggest miracle”. Yes the biggest or greatest miracle occurred in my life. I never knew that, that search for Adam which ended 21st August, 1992 was giving way to the emergence of that God I was searching for.
31. In December the same year- just four months after he emerged; that God me was searching for in many parts of the world was resting in the dark continent of Africa, Nigeria waiting for the appointed date to appear on the scene.
32. From 1992, my interest in mysticism began a downward decline, my quest to continue the search stopped and I was left to remain in Limbo. The six years that I wandered about before meeting this God face to face in 1998 was six years full of confusion, trails and frustration. I was moving from church to church with my wife just to see where we could go and sing out sorrows and not that we could find truth there.
33. One vital experience that concluded my suspicion that God’s presence wasn’t in any organized religion then was when we joined the business men fellowship international. My house was made the zonal fellowship center. One day I brought out all regalia, books, instruments etc which I used for my mystical practices and asked the pastor to burn them as I have lost interest in that practice, but instead of burning them ,the pastor shifted and asked me to burn them myself.
34. I told my life straight away that “I won’t worship with them again” and she wanted to know why and I gave her my reasons that “I cannot worship a god that is less powerful them the one I left” I thought they were spiritual but then I realized they were empty. From that moment I started having serious problems with them until I was able to chase them away from my house. Miraculously few days after they left my house, this message arrive my family through Apostle Ugonna and former brothers – Ogbonna Opoke and Joseph Ogbuka.
35. Immediately my mind accepted the message, we got baptized and my parlor remained the fellowship center in Emene as instructed by the Son of Man. Immediately we took off, the business men fellowship, the zonal chapter crumbled and they left.
36. Then I came to Onitsha on that December 1998 camp meeting where I finally met the God, face to face; a great experience. When I reflect back, I see my journey on earth as an experience which I cannot fathom. Who kept me alive throughout my childhood till date?
37. Had it been I died while growing up, would I have had the opportunity of meeting God in person? Who directed me to this Bridal faith? I will always remain grateful to Almighty God for holding, guiding, inspiring and guarded me till today. Without him life is meaningless and nothing can be achieved.
38. After sixteen years, 2008, I bounced back on the artistic arena with finer experience and advanced creativity in the exhibition tagged “THE JOURNEY SO FAR” which Almighty God himself made possible. I thank you Lord for the strength, inspirations, craftsmanship, life which you endowed on me throughout this journey till today. This is my experiences.
CONCLUSION
In concluding this writing, let me begin with the words on marble- the enshrined words of our God, Apostle Peter Odoemena, the vey Son of Man.
2. In the message titled – IF YOU HUMBLE YOURSELF IN THE HAND OF ALMIGHTY GOD, page 11 verse 10-11, He said “For you to begin to moderate and modify your activities, you must first of all acknowledge the existence of the supreme God who created the heavens and earth. For these things we see are not on earth by accident.
3. If you watch the definite arrangement by which they are arranged, not even one is clashing with the other. That will show you that everything on earth (Cosmos) was carefully planned and placed in its position by the supreme intelligence even before mankind appeared”.
4. In another of his message titled – MY PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW ME, page 120 verse 12- He made it clear that:- “Devil represents the contrary principle. Destructive rather than creative, malevolent rather than beneficent, pulling down as gravity does instead of pressing upwards as trees and plants do when they grow and reach resolutely and beautifully after the light.
5. God is the creator of human beings. Every other human being here must acknowledge that God is his maker. Animals recognize their own creator but man cannot recognize their own creator. God has power to destroy all the creatures here on earth. He has done that in the time past. If he does it again, it is not strange”.
6. And in the message titled, revelation of the seven seals, page 175 verse 139, Prophet William Marion Branham, said that God’s first decision of how the world will look like can never be faulted by any designer, landscape architect, artist, engineer etc. Let us hear him:-
7. “God’s first decision is perfect. And the way He chooses to do things; there can’t be other, better way. He can’t improve on it, because it is perfect to begin with. If it isn’t, then he isn’t infinite. And if he is infinite, then he is omniscient. And if he is omniscient, he’s omnipotent. Amen!
8. He has got to be that to be God. See? You – you can’t say, now, “he learned me”. He didn’t learn more, he’s the – he’s the very fountain of all wisdom. See?”
9. This is a great revelation to whomever that can see. “It is only a veteran hunter that recognizes the leg of a female grass cutter”. All these quotes above would help us to take off the bumps and pimples that had defaced the belief that God existed and still existing. All these schism are the byproduct of episodic responses which religious hallucination have foisted on their adherents.
10. It beats my imagination hollow how this illusion of belief that God never existed nor created the world gained this devalued currency. All these skeptical divergent groups who never agreed with one another before based on doctrine and mode of worship are now cohesively fitting together their individual tissues of lies to form a common front which is against the move of God in this dispensation; can it work out positively? Never.
11. We should be careful the ways we use our individual mouths, minds and knowledge to question the existence of God. Philosophers, scientist, theologians, religionists etc have all failed in their quest and researches to understand the ways of God which Almighty God had already revealed to us that his ways are different from our ways and thinking.
12. This is a God that can never share his glory with anyone and a God that does great things. God is equal to any problem. So when people say that God doesn’t exist, it goes to prove that they are either spiritually blind or they are devilish and stupid in their thinking. It is on record that most scientists have rejected creation science for several reasons, including that its claims do not refer to natural causes and cannot be tested.
13. All those who are against God and his messenger of truth can be called Herod Agrippa of today. They may have the power of oratory, demonic energy and a capability of bending men to their will either individually or collectively but what they cannot finally achieve is to change the course of the river.
14. It is really absorb and an anthropological error that people are prejudiced either by cultural, social beliefs or by a scientific training into the conviction that life originated [ spontaneously] on the earth. These ‘monkey’ laws are what humanity should discard and accept the truth that God exists.
15. Saying or believing that God does not exist can be actually interpreted in many ways:-
(a) That you haven’t been opportune to meet him and learn from him personally (face to face) makes you to doubt his existence.
(b) Worshipping another god and not Almighty God is another way to show that one disapproves his divine existence. When one discards the original because it cannot be found or perceived easily doesn’t mean the original doesn’t exist. So worshipping another god can be by accepting the diluted belief that the world originated from the Big Bang and also that man evolved from the primates.
16. In the message titled “GET RID OF DANGEROUS WEAPONS FROM THE HANDS OF FOOLS,” page 7, verse 8, Son of Man said:- “God delights in men of conviction. Not in men that will stand on people opinion”
17. God is telling us from the quote we just read, about men of conviction who will out of their personal experience in life discard the obnoxious law that God never existed. Their strong belief that God existed is as a result of what they have experienced but those who can be driven about by the sizzled commercial religious chauffeur are the gullible ones.
18. Because of their gullibility, they find it very difficult to stand on their personal conviction (if they had any) that God is the macrocosmic entity, the Supreme Being, who created the entire universe.
19. That ‘He’ God created all things inside the earth and below the earth. That shows he has total control of every creature both the obedient and disobedient ones.
20. Man with his disobedient nature cannot control God but his life and existence is in the hand of God, so his disobedience is a foolish step taken in a wrong way.
21. The oceans, seas, rivers, mountain, hills, weather and all other creatures created by God obey him but man and his misconception about the existence of God has brought about the unbelief that has placed man in a spiritual quagmire.
22. As recorded in St. Mark gospel chapter 4 verse 35-39, the wind and the sea obeyed God without any excuse.
23. “On the same day, when evening had come, he said to them “let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took him along in the boat as he was. And other little boats were also with him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke him and said to him. “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing”
24. Then he arose and rebuked the mind, and said to the sea, “peace, be still”. And the wind ceased and there was a great calm”. The scripture also told us in the book of Jonah, chapter 1; verse 1-4 how Prophet Jonah rejected the instruction from God to go to the city of Nineveh and proclaim his word I quote:-
25. “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah, the son of Amittal saying “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it, for her wickedness has come up before me.
26. “But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. But the Lord sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a great wind on the sea, so that the ship about to be broken up”.
27. This was a clear example of man’s rebellion against the word of God. Jonah felt he was wiser than God and that the instruction God gave to him will at the end not to be carried out by God. God Almighty can do all things, and can even change his mind in certain situation, so it is the duty of man to obey and believe God.
28. We cannot hide away from the presence of God and as the Almighty, his ways are incomprehensible. Son of Man, Apostle Peter Odoemena had in many occasions told us that we cannot avoid his face and even if we do, we will meet the same face at the end. He made it very clear to us in many of his messages that wherever we will run to, God is there. God is under the sea, everywhere and so there is no place we will try to hide away that God won’t fish us out.
29. In the same book of Jonah chapter 1 verse 17, God caught him as he was about to escape. Escape to where God could not see him. IS IT POSSIBLE? Let’s see what the scripture says:-
30. “Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights? When God gave His command to the fish to vomit Jonah out on the bank of the river, did the fish disobey?. The fish obeyed the instruction without complaining.
31. In Genesis chapter 1 verse 9, God gave the waters instruction “to gather into one place, and let the dry land appear”, and the scripture said “and it was so”.
32. Any disobedience found here? There are various instances in the Bible that revealed man’s disobedience to the word of God and today it has grown from disobedience to disapproval of God’s existence. In Isaiah chapter 40 vers 16, the scripture made it absolutely clear that God Almighty created the heavens and the earth. Let’s hear the proclamation.
33. “Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things, who bring out their host of members; he called them all by name, by the greatness of his might and the strength of his power; not one is missing”. And in Isaiah chapter 45 verses 21-22, God said also And there is no other God besides me, a just God and a savior: there is none beside me.
34. Look to me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God and there is no other Bonaventure preguin add thus, hear him:- “What is the virtue that enables us to listen to the word of God? docility. We must be eager to listen to him, to open our minds for him to give them his principles. When he has molded our ways of thinking, we shall reject all the other ways, the worldly ways that are not compatible with his”.
35. So rejecting the existence of God and his words as the ultimate creator of the entire universe will keep the progenitor in a quagmire. Be you the greatest scientists, artist, philosopher, metaphysician etc on earth is never a guarantee that you can be above your creator. That is rubbish.
36. As an artist I know quite frankly that to paint or copy that works of nature remains the hardest aspect of art. As you are painting, the colour spectrum of the entire landscape changes as the position of the sun also changes. Who crafted it that colors shades will be controlled by the effect of light upon them? We may try to copy nature but not exactly how it looks but how our imagination has created it.
37. So, the rejection of the existence of this All knowing God would create a serious negative effect that would continue to prickle dip into the human conscience and that spiritually isolate the unbelievers from God’s favor and guidance. Lighting our lamps and retracing the lost track is still tenable if all involved would accept him as their savior and the creator of heavens and earth.
38. In the message – GOD’S NATURE IS YOUR TICKET TO PARADISE, page 18:22, Son of Man said: “The truth of the matter is this; the hand of the Lord is upon the whole earth for evil and not for good, bringing his promises to pass”.
39. Despite all the scientific investigation scientists have carried out about the earth and it’s coming into being, there are still more complicated and sophisticated physical problem that remains a puzzle. They must untie them. Unless that is done, is it not better for all the ardent supporters who are enclosed in this messy environment to shut up their mouths? And shudder at the wondrous things that stare at our faces which were done by the voice of God than searching around for the mysteries that are beyond human comprehension.
40. John O’ Keefe, an astronomer at NASA (The National Aeronautics and space Administration) said: – “We are by astronomical standards, a pampered, cosseted, cherished group of creatures.
41. If the universe had not been made with the most exacting precision we could never have come into existence. It is my view that these circumstances indicate the universe was created for man to live in”.
42. So keeping quiet in the face of tyrannical religious oppression in this decadent age cannot be accepted because truth must be told. The myth of religious apathy on this generation remains the greatest problem mankind is actually facing today. The power of darkness has overshadowed the entire earth space and only a negligible group under the shadows of the Almighty God, have escaped this blazing religious inferno ravaging the world.
43. It is no wonder why the Natural Academy of science recently wrote that “the evidence of evolution can be fully compatible with religious faith, a view officially endorsed by many religious denomination globally while many, as recorded in the USA reject the idea of evolution by natural selection especially regarding human being”.
44. What Prof. Hawking and his fellows have made us to understand will remain valueless, superficial or ephemeral unless proven beyond doubt with striking evidences otherwise it will phase away like other inconsequential logics of the past. Lies have no longevity. It can hide today but once light shines upon it, will be exposed.
45. Leonardo Da Vinci said:-“The mole has very small eyes and it always lives underground, and it lives as long as it is in the dark but when it comes into the light it dies immediately because it becomes known – as so it is with lies”.
46. This write up has to a large extent dealt with God and the collective posture of some scientists, theologian, philosophy etc who had ganged up against the truth. There is a proverb my people used to say “a fire that starts from a river, it is only God that can put it off”.
47. So, the man who can put of that fire is in our midst, as a man and with the word which is the current truth. He is the incarnate of God in this generation and if people believe it or not, it is absolute truth.
48. No wonder some people who heard the phrase constantly applied to Apostle Peter Odoemena as the Son of Man were unable to accept him as the long awaited fulfillment of their hopes and dreams. Is it because they believe no mortal could consummate one age and usher in another, alter history and reality? People have missed it. He has done it.
49. It will be very difficult for the religionists and the negative minded scientists to believe this but that is true. How can they be able to accept that God is a man when they couldn’t believe that God ever existed and that he also was the creator of the world?
50. Do they need to test Son of Man, Apostle Peter Odoemena in their laboratory scientifically before they can draw their conclusion? It is not a matter of scientific proof but a spiritual thing which can only be revealed. Son of man said “When initiates gather, the masquerade stripes naked”.
51. There is one revealing aspect of the whole matter. It is a striking thing that Son of Man ends all his sayings with “believe it if you can” because he understand human nature and how stiff-necked they are. It is only those who believe in the resurrected Christ and not the crucified Christ that his messages will make meaning to.
52. The scripture- Revelation chapter 2 verse 1:3 say: – “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people.
53. God himself will be with them and be their God”. Having concluded this writing as a mere man; let me add “to whom then will you liken God? or what likeness will you compare to him? As was written in Isaiah 40:18 and from Bob Marley, the musical Prophetic Legend, he said “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery”.
NOTE
54. “He who wants to swallow a stone must be sure of the size of his or her throat” and only those whose hearts are hardened can be likened to “a guinea pig which no amount of rain that beats her can wash away the indelible designs on her body”.
55. And Revelation 14:7 adds:- “Saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
FINALLY – LET US FEAR GOD
56. God is the Almighty and by his personality, he is able to create all circumstances for his own good and he knows how everything shall come to pass. Ephesians 1:11 reveals thus “In him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the council of his will”
57. That goes to show that he does everything the way he likes and proposed in his mind. He know all things as 1John 3:20 says “For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things”. As the Alpha and Omega, nothing happens without his knowledge.
58. God can anoint anybody with any type of spirit just to enable him actualize his divine purpose.
59. Was it not God in 1 kings 22:22 who sent a lying spirit in the mouth of the false prophets to send Ahab to his death. Was it not God who sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Schechem as written in the book of Judges 9:23.
60. In Psalms 78:49, God judged Israel by sending evil angels among them. Psalms 76:10 made us to understand that God might not be the cause of wickedness but he must use all he created to fulfill a purpose he had preplanned before the world began.
61. In Deuteronomy 32:39 it is written that “I kill and I make alive”. All these actions may be a permissive will of God and it will remain his will to do as he wishes. But the basic truth remains that when God removes his protective hand, he turns the person to Satan to torment. Satan does his natural bid assigned to him by his creator.
62. If what the Bible says about God and his ways is true, that means as an Almighty God, he is also omnipotent and can do all things. Son of Man had already warned us as I reflected in the body of this paper that “we always try to limit God. Any time we start thinking what God cannot do that means we are off from this faith”.
63. So God possess all the elements and attributes of creative energy which are positive and negative. Because of that everything on earth was created in pairs.
64. God can give life and God can take away life. In Job 1:21, it is written that Job said “the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away”. In Samuel 16:14-15, can we read and see the powers of God as it was stated thus “the evil spirit form God tormented Saul”.
65. When Judas betrayed the master Jesus, did he realize what he was doing? Look at Peter one of the closest pal of Jesus denying him three times. Does it look normal? Jonah the Prophet was aware of the powers of God and that his eyes are everywhere. What prompted him to decide to disobey God? secondly to run into hiding knowing fully well that nobody can hide away from Almighty God.
66. All those who are propagating all those religious dogma, why have they refused to believe God and his message of the hour? Some accept the message of the hour as factual but they vehemently refuse to believe it totally. Why is it that only few individuals were gathered by God, to reveal the message(s) of the hour to them? Who gave them the believing heart? These are an actual account of a spiritual reality; that is a human representation of what happened in the spiritual realm.
67. All these and many more questions should continue to agitate our collective minds and that will expose our weakness thereby opening our eyes to the fact that “nobody is above false anointing”. We should be careful of the powers we are arrogating to ourselves that we don’t have
68. Our prayers should be anchored on these facts that God should have absolute mercy on us, not minding our individual imperfections and extricate us from fulfilling any negative prophecies. He should remove from us the deadly spirit of pride and fill us with the spirit of humility and love so that we can be able to appreciate the free gift which he has bestowed upon all of us, an unmerited favor.
69. We should always pray fervently that God with his abundant mercies, knowing that we are mere mortals, should never place us in a situation where we can deny his existence and finally, God should also continue to uphold us because without his hands holding us firmly we can never make it. As mortals it is very difficult to remain faithful to God under serious test unless God provides the escape route.
70. And concluding, let His radiating love, full of compassion, keeps us on check and lead us into His everlasting paradise.
71. LET IT BE SO OH! LORD OUR GOD.. We pray.
72. 1st Samuel 2:3, “Talk no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is the God of knowledge; and by him actions are weighed”
73. Psalms 69:13, “But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of your mercy, hear me in the truth of your salvation”
74. Let us end this discourse with a song titled PASS ME NOT Hymn No. 56, page 71 of the Bridal hymn book.
Pass me not, o gentle savior
Hear my humble cry;
While on others thou are smiling,
Do not pass me by
Chorus:
Saviour, Saviour
Hear my humble cry;
While on others thou are calling
Do not pass me by
Let me at thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief
Trusting only in thy merit
Would I seek thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by thy grace.
Thou the spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me,
Whom have I on earth beside thee?
Whom in heaven but thee?
