THE RIGHTEOUS BRANCH
I salute everyone in the Name of the Lord God Almighty who has visited us in our own generation.
While we watch and wait for the Promise of the Hour, we will not cease from keeping ourselves in remembrance of what He has taught us.
That is the only way we can assure ourselves that we have the required understanding of what He taught us.
This is the only way we can be sure we are waiting at the right place where He asked us to wait and watch events as they unfold, so that nothing takes us unawares for we are not in the dark.
1st Thessalonians Chapter 5 verses four through six says, 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Thus, we will not be tired of waiting. Yes, these things are very vital. It is just like someone who wants to travel by air.
First you will be sure you have your passport and visa then; you have purchased the ticket from an authorized agent. The next is, you go for checking in.
This is where your ticket will be authenticated, and seat assigned to you based on availability.
When some people get to this point, they will be surprised to hear that they were placed on standby even though their ticket is valid.
Thus, they will be asked to wait by the side pending when those with active bookings have been attended to.
These people on standby will be wishing that some of those that have active booking do not arrive early so that they can be considered as their replacement while those on the queue are anxious not knowing their fate.
It is only when you collect your boarding pass that you will be sure your ticket has been certified okay and approved for the trip.
You are now sure and certain that you have a seat on board. You may even know your seat number and position in the plane. Nobody can drag it with you.
Afterwards, you go for the final and most stringent security checks.
At this point you must be disarmed of every item, material or gadget that is not allowed on board before you can be ushered to passengers’ waiting hall.
You can be disarmed of your food, your drinks even your water otherwise you cannot be allowed in. There in the Departure Hall is where all that have collected their boarding passes are supposed to wait and watch out for their flight.
That notwithstanding, there are some that will collect their Boarding Pass and decide to stay outside the approved waiting hall maybe to eat, drink or bid farewell to friends.
Some can even leave the airport environment entirely for some reasons known to them with the hope that they would be back before the supposed departure time.
Off course the risk is so much because anything can happen to the person on the way which can bring about unexpected delays.
More so, the flight time can be changed due to some emergent operational reasons.
At the event that any of the scenarios played out, the flight will not wait for the person. Was his ticket valid and okay? Yes.
Was he checked in? Yes. Was he issued with a boarding Pass? The answer is yes. Did he join the flight? No. Will he be refunded his money? No. He missed it out of carelessness.
This is similar to a student that arrived at his examination centre quite early and while they were waiting for the examiner decided to go to a quiet place, where there wouldn’t be any distraction, to do some revision.
Unfortunately, he was carried away, a little dozing off only to wake up and discover that the examination was over. Who will he blame?
That is why passengers are advised to be at the airport a minimum of 2 hours before flight time. Likewise, students are always advised to be at their examination centres earlier than 30 minutes before the stipulated time to monitor developments around the approved place.
With this background I want to put us in remembrance of what God had earlier taught us in The Great Sermon and Holy Spirit Inspired Epistle.
This exhortation will revolve around Epistle 16:The Righteous Branch – Mystery to the Bride of Christ. Saint Paul in his day said, “without controversy Great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1Timothy 3:16 KJV)
No one can deny how great is the secret of our religion: He appeared in human form, was shown to be right by the Spirit, and was seen by angels.
He was preached among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, and was taken up to heaven (1Timothy 3:16 GNB).
No one can deny how great the secret of our Faith is. So, the Faith of Christ has a secret that is great. Being a secret means that not everyone can perceive it.
It must be revealed, and the secret is one not many. To be godly is a mystery, it is a secret. Get me New International Version, the same 1 Timothy 3 verse 16.
16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: The mystery from which true godliness, righteousness springs is great. He appeared in the flesh….
This Mystery appeared in the flesh,…was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
So, Saint Paul preached True Righteousness as A SECRET that must be revealed. My prayer is: may the Almighty God renew our spiritual insight into this mystery as we proceed. Let us start with Chapter 1 verse 1 of Epistle 16.
This message is a very unusual one and whoever that understands the meaning has overcome all things in this Christian Faith.
I am going to make it very short and direct and it is my desire that all the elect of God will pay serious attention here.
It is my desire that all the Elect of God will pay serious attention here. I am aware that we all have this message with us and have read it more frequently than many other messages.
However, considering the importance of this message I want us to reflect on it closely again. This message is central to our Faith but very delicate.
I will like to approach it unconventionally; I mean randomly peradventure that will help us refresh our understanding of the message.
Zechariah chapter 3 verse 5 through 9.5And I said, let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments.
He was decorated with priestly attire signifying A HIGH PRIEST. And the angel of the Lord stood by.
6And the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying, 7Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee; thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee:
for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. 9For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. (KJV)
5Then I said, “Please, could he also have a clean turban on his head?” So they gave him one. 6Then the Angel of the Lord spoke very solemnly to Joshua and said, 7“The Lord Almighty declares:
‘If you will follow the paths I set for you and do all I tell you to, then I will put you in charge of my Temple, to keep it holy; and I will let you walk in and out of my presence with these angels.
8Listen to me, O JOSHUA THE HIGH PRIEST, AND ALL YOU OTHER PRIESTS, YOU ARE ILLUSTRATIONS OF THE GOOD THINGS TO COME.
Joshua the High Priest and all of you other priests are ILLUSTRATIONS of THE GOOD THINGS TO COME in the future; prototype of GOOD THINGS.
Joshua was not alone, he has other priests with him: they are ministers of the same message, they are all part of Joshua’s success.
Don’t you see? —JOSHUA REPRESENTS MY SERVANT THE BRANCH WHOM I WILL SEND.
Thus, THE BRANCH will have followers and they (the BRANCH and His followers) altogether ARE THE GOOD THINGS being expected.
JOSHUA REPRESENTS MY SERVANT THE BRANCH WHOM I WILL SEND.
9He will be the Foundation Stone of the Temple that Joshua is standing besides, this BRANCH is the FOUNDATION STONE with His followers (disciples) that will form the FOUNDATION of the Temple, and I will engrave this inscription on it seven times: I will remove the sins of this land in a single day (LB).
The moment HE, THE BRANCH APPEARS on the scene, all the sins of God’s people will be blotted out or taken away in a single day.
5And I [Zechariah] said, Let them put a clean turban on his head. So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with [rich] garments.
And the Angel of the Lord stood by. 6And the Angel of the Lord [solemnly and earnestly] protested and affirmed to Joshua, saying, 7Thus says the Lord of hosts:
If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then also you shall rule My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you access [to My presence] and places to walk among these who stand here.
8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your colleagues who [usually] sit before you—for they are men who are a sign or omen [types of what is to come]—for behold, I will bring forth MY SERVANT THE BRANCH.
9For behold, upon the stone which I have set before Joshua, upon that one stone are seven eyes or facets [the all-embracing providence of God and the sevenfold radiations of the Spirit of God].
Behold, I will carve upon it its inscription, says the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity and guilt of this land in a single day. (AMP)
They will not be accused of sin again because The Branch will pay the penalty for their sins and they will be set free.
Note that this Branch who Joshua was to represent would be the foundation stone of the temple, and the moment he appears on the scene, all the sins of God’s people will be blotted out or taken away in a single day.
Ephesians 2:19-22 19Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone (KJV)
1 Corinthians 3:10-11 10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (KJV)
10God, in his kindness, has taught me how to be an expert builder. I have laid the foundation and Apollos has built on it.
But he who builds on the foundation must be very careful. 11And no one can ever lay any other real foundation than that one we already have—Jesus Christ. (LB).
From above scriptures it is evident that the Lord Jesus came, performed the foundation laying ceremony to initiate the building foundation of the True Temple with His followers, His disciples the apostles, whom He chose for that purpose prominent among them being Saint Paul.
That is why Saint Paul said, according to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
Let us go to Hebrews Chapter 3 verse 1.Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider THE APOSTLE AND HIGH PRIEST of our profession, Christ Jesus. (KJV).
You can see that Jesus came as a High Priest the office that Joshua depicted where we read in Zechariah chapter three.
Thus, as the High Priest He performed the sacrifices of sin once and for all. The same Hebrews chapter 5 verse 1 through 8 Amplified Bible translation.
1For every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in things relating to God, Jesus was also taken from among men as it is written in 1st Timothy chapter 2 verse 5 saying;
“There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (KJV).
He says, God is on one side and all the people on the other side, and CHRIST JESUS, HIMSELF MAN, is between them to bring them together, by giving his life for all mankind (LB).
1For every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in things relating to God, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
2He is able to exercise gentleness and forbearance toward the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is liable to moral weakness and physical infirmity.
Living Bible says that BECAUSE HE IS A MAN, HE CAN DEAL GENTLY WITH OTHER MEN, THOUGH THEY ARE FOOLISH AND IGNORANT, for he, too, is surrounded with the same temptations and understands their problems very well.
3And because of this he is obliged to offer sacrifice for his own sins, as well as for those of the people. So, the High Priest himself needed salvation. He also partakes or benefits from the same salvation he offers.
Thus, there is no room for overestimation or more than the provisions of his office from him.
So, that one is a High Priest does not prevent him from being liable to moral weakness and physical infirmity.
He can fall sick, he can feel tired, he can be hungry, he can be thirsty, just like the scripture in John chapter four verse six Living Bible says, Jesus was tired from the long walk in the hot sun and sat wearily beside the well.
4Besides, one does not appropriate for himself the honor [of being high priest], but he is called by God and receives it of Him, just as Aaron did.
Being a High Priest is a great honour which only the Almighty bestows. There can be a million Priests but there cannot be more than ONE High Priest.
5So too Christ (the Messiah) did not exalt Himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed and exalted by Him Who said to Him, You are My Son; today I have begotten You; 6As He says also in another place, You are a Priest [appointed] forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchisedec.
I want you to note something here. Jesus was appointed a Priest with the rank of; after the Order of Melchisedec. So, as far as Priesthood is concerned, Jesus operated in the same Office.
Then, what of the Royal Title, the Kingship with respect to Jesus? This is because Melchisedec was also a King.
1This Melchisedec was king of the city of Salem and also a priest of the Most High God. When Abraham was returning home after winning a great battle against many kings, Melchisedec met him and blessed him; 2then Abraham took a tenth of all he had won in the battle and gave it to Melchisedec.\
Melchisedec’s name means “Justice,” so he is the King of Justice; and he is also the King of Peace because of the name of his city, Salem, which means “Peace.”
3Melchisedec had no father or motherand there is no record of any of his ancestors. He was never born and he never died but his life is like that of the Son of God—a priest forever.
4See then how great this Melchisedec is: Even Abraham, the first and most honored of all God’s chosen people, gave Melchisedec a tenth of the spoils he took from the kings he had been fighting. (Hebrews Chapter 7:1-4: Living Bible).
In Nigerian Military context for instance, General Domkat Bali rose to the order and rank of General Olusegun Obasanjo, in that he retired as a Four-Star General but General Domkat Bali never occupied the Office of the Head of State like General Obasanjo during his service period.
Jesus was appointed a HIGH PRIEST, no mention of King was made, a Priest with the rank of Melchisedec. Remember that Melchisedec was a King and also a Priest of the Most High God.
Recall that I am talking about the MAN Jesus. Let’s continue with Hebrews Chapter Five verse seven now.7
In the days of His flesh, IN THE DAYS, OF HIS FLESH AS A HUMAN BEING, AS A MAN [Jesus] offered up definite, special petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed] and supplications with strong crying and tears…
Jesus made special prayers and petitions not only for what He needed but also for what He wanted.
To Him Who was [always] able to save Him [out] from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward God [His godly fear, His piety, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father].
8Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered. Although He was a Son: His Divine nature did not exonerate Him from suffering. Amen. Please follow me gradually as I approach this matter of great importance.
NO MESSENGER EVER COMES WITHOUT A PROPHECY BEFORE. EVERY MESSENGER COMES BY PROPHECY. I MEAN THAT THE ADVENT OF A MESSENGER IS THE FULFILLMENT OF A PROPHECY. TRUE OR FALSE? THAT THE SON OF MAN IS IN YOUR MIDST WAS FORETOLD. HE IS NOT HERE BY ACCIDENT OR BY HUMAN DESIGN. IT WAS FORETOLD.

EVERY GOD SENT MAN, HAS HIS OWN MINISTRY TO ACCOMPLISH (1)
Let us hear what our Prophet William Marrion Branham had to say in the message called “Hebrews Chapter Seven Volume 2” delivered on Sunday, 22nd September 1957 at the Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, Indiana, U.S.A. 341-306, And this Melchisedec was not Jesus, for He (Melchisedec) was God.
And what made Jesus and God different, that… Jesus was the Tabernacle that God dwelt in. See? Now, Melchisedec…
Jesus had both father and mother, and this Man never had father or mother. Jesus had a beginning of life and He had a end of life.
This Man had no father, no mother, no beginning of days, or ending of life.
But It was the self same Person; it was Melchisedec and Jesus was One; but Jesus was the earthly body, borned and fashioned after sin: God’s own body, His own Son, borned and fashioned after sin to take the sting out of death, to pay the ransom, and to receive sons and daughters unto Himself.
You get it? That’s the reason that He had–a beginning; He had an ending.
Here Jesus is identified as occupying the office the High Priest just like Joshua in Zechariah Chapter three where we read before.
The commission of a man of God tells you the Office He occupies, the office a man occupies tells you who he is and what to expect from Him.
So, Jesus as a human being, a MAN, occupied the Office of a High Priest. More so, all references to Him while He was on earth are indicative of that.
See what John the Baptist said about Him in John Chapter 1:29-30: 29The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
30This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me (John 1:29-30 LB)
THE (sacrificial) LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD: that was His commission – The High Priest.
This is He of whom I said, after me cometh a MAN which is preferred before me. Amen. Even when they attempted making Him a King He ran away.
He told them that His Kingdom was not yet come. He referenced them to the future, the days of the SON OF MAN as in Matthew chapter 25 verse 31-34:
31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (KJV).
In John Chapter 8 verses 15 and 21 Jesus said, 15You pass judgment on me without knowing the facts. I AM NOT JUDGING YOU NOW;
21Later he said to them again, “I am going away; and you will search for me, and die in your sins. And you cannot come where I am going.” (LB)
35 The Jewish leaders were puzzled by this statement. “Where is he planning to go?” they asked.
“Maybe he is thinking of leaving the country and going as a missionary among the Jews in other lands, or MAYBE EVEN TO THE GENTILES!
36 What does he mean about our looking for him and not being able to find him, and, ‘You won’t be able to come where I am’?” (John 7:35-36 LB)
So, what do we expect from Him as a priest? Follow me as we read from the book of Hebrews chapter 9 verse 28 with different translations.
Hebrews 9:28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (KJV)
So, CHRIST WAS once offered (as a sacrifice). This He (CHRIST) performed in the man called Jesus. He (CHRIST) shall appear the second time not to deal with sin again.
In the same manner Christ also was offered in sacrifice once to take away the sins of many. He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are waiting for him. (GNB)
So also Christ died only once as an offering for the sins of many people; and he will come again, but not to deal again with our sins.
This time he will come bringing salvation to all those who are eagerly and patiently waiting for him. (LB)
Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him. (AMP)
This is a two-fold programme just like when Moses was commissioned to bring the people of Israel out of Egypt.
Almighty God told Moses I have come down to rescue them from the Egyptians and to bring them out of Egypt to a spacious land, one which is rich and fertile and in which the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites now live.
Exodus chapter 3 verse 7 through 9. 7And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows.
8and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
I AM COME DOWN TO FIRST, TO DELIVER THEM OUT OF THE HAND OF THE EGYPTIANS, secondly TO BRING THEM UP OUT OF THAT LAND thirdly, (BRING THEM) UNTO A GOOD LAND AND A LARGE, UNTO A LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY.
Unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
9Now herefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10 Come now therefore, come now Moses, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
This was Moses’ commission: THAT THOU MAYEST BRING FORTH MY PEOPLE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL OUT OF EGYPT.
The Lord shared the entire programme with Moses but clearly told Moses what He wanted him to do at least for the moment.
Moses perfectly accomplished his own assignment. If I should ask, who delivered and brought the people of Israel out of Egypt? It is Christ, God in Moses.
Who settled them in Cannan? It is the same Christ, God in the flesh called Joshua. Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world.
This branch who Joshua was to represent would be THE FOUNDATION STONE OF THE TEMPLE, AND THE MOMENT HE APPEARS ON THE SCENE, ALL THE SINS OF GOD’S PEOPLE WILL BE BLOTTED OUT OR TAKEN AWAY IN A SINGLE DAY.
They will not be accused of sin again because The Branch will pay the penalty for their sins and they will be set free. Thus, we can tag this: ‘mission accomplished’!
Let us move a little further in the same Zechariah. Zechariah Chapter 6 verses 9 through 13.9In another message the Lord said: 10-11“Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah will bring gifts of silver and gold from the Jews exiled in Babylon.
The same day they arrive, meet them at the home of Josiah (son of Zephaniah), where they will stay. Accept their gifts and make from them a crown from the silver and gold.
Then put the crown on the head of JOSHUA (son of Josedech) THE HIGH PRIEST. 12Tell him that the Lord Almighty says, ‘YOU REPRESENT THE MAN WHO WILL COME, WHOSE NAME IS “THE BRANCH”
You represent who? THE MAN, M-A-N, MAN. You represent the MAN who will come—HE WILL GROW UP FROM HIMSELF.
This MAN will grow up from Himself, He will not have need for any man to teach Him the way of the Lord. HE WILL GROW UP FROM HIMSELF —and WILL BUILD THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD and will BUILD B-U-I-L-D.
The foundation has been laid, it is now time for the main building. I want you to note the difference here. Where we read in Chapter 3 is particularly about laying foundation.
We have equally identified the corner STONE as can be seen in Ephesians 2:20;
…and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone and confirmed in first Corinthians Chapter 3 verse 10 to 15 saying According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon(KJV).
So, if Saint Paul and his fellow Apostles and Prophets succeeded in laying the foundation for ANOTHER TO BUILD then who is that BUILDER that would build on this foundation laid by Saint Paul, definitely not Jesus.
From the day Apostle Paul and his fellow apostles left the scene many builders emerged with various building materials thus the scripture says, but there are various kinds of materials that can be used to build on that foundation.
Some use gold and silver and jewels; and some build with sticks and hay or even straw!
As you can see Apostasy set in. Instead of using the WORD OF GOD which is the approved material for the building they invented various forms of unapproved materials: gold, silver, jewels, sticks, straw, glass, plastics and so on trying to replicate the physical temple which is the Law of Moses.
They started pursuing the shadow instead of the substance which is the True Temple God pointed them to.
Verse 13, 13there is going to come a time of testing at Christ’s Judgment Day to see what kind of material each builder has used.

You can now see when Prophet William Branham who came to forerun Christ appearance shouted at them saying, go back to Pentecost because the original baton was lost far back in Pentecost.
He said go back to the WORD. The approved material must be the WORD of the hour. This is why Jesus said “Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?”
Eventually, what He met on earth is nothing but gold, silver and all forms of unapproved materials, sophistication and modernization in the name of worshipping God.
They went back to the old system of erecting cathedrals, synagogues, schools, colleges, universities; etcetera as if these were the commission given to them instead of building the True Temple which is the Kingdom of God.
.Everyone’s work will be put through the fire so that all can see whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished.
14Then every workman who has built on the foundation with the right materials, and whose work still stands, will get his pay.
15But if the house he has built burns up, he will have a great loss. He himself will be saved, but like a man escaping through a wall of flames.
There is going to come a time of testing when the Owner of the Kingdom will come for inspection.
He will inspect from the foundation to the finishing to ensure that everything has been done according to the plan which He approved before laying the foundation.
He will check the masonry works, check the plumbing and other mechanical systems, check all electrical systems, check the painting, check everything, appraise the work of all the professionals and come up with a punch list.
A punch list is a document prepared during key milestones or near the end of a construction project listing work not conforming to contract specifications that the general contractor must complete prior to final payment.
The work may include incomplete or incorrect installations or incidental damage to existing finishes, material, and structures.
The list is usually made by the owner, architect or designer, or general contractor while they tour and visually inspect the project. This must be done before the project will be handed over to the Owner.
Let us go back to Zechariah 6 verse 12.12Tell him that the Lord Almighty says, ‘YOU REPRESENT THE MAN WHO WILL COME, WHOSE NAME IS “THE BRANCH”—HE WILL GROW UP FROM HIMSELF—and WILL BUILD THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD.
He will grow up from Himself – SELF-EXISTING – and will BUILD THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD. Remember we have a message – Building the True Temple.
13TO HIM BELONGS THE ROYAL TITLE. To this MAN belongs the ROYAL TITLE. Royal Title was not mentioned in Chapter 3 where we read before concerning the foundation.
We are talking about a MAN, not a SPIRIT. If He is a MAN he will be born of a woman; He will come from a certain village; He will have people around Him.
To this MAN belongs the ROYAL TITLE, HE WILL RULE BOTH AS KING AND AS PRIEST, He will rule both as King and as Priest, and WITH PERFECT HARMONY BETWEEN THE TWO! (LB)
WHO COULD THIS MAN BE? Let us see Amplified version of the Holy Scripture, the same Zechariah chapter 6 from verse 9 through 13 Amplified Bible.
9And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 10Accept donations and offerings from these [as representatives of the] exiles, from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, who have come from Babylon; and come the same day and go to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.\
11Yes, take from them silver and gold, and make crowns and set [one] upon the head of Joshua the son ofJehozadak, the high priest.
12And say to him, Thus says the Lord of hosts: [You, Joshua] behold (look at, keep in sight, watch) THE MAN [the Messiah] WHOSE NAME IS THE BRANCH, for He shall grow up in His place and He shall build the [true] temple of the Lord.
13Yes, [you are building a temple of the Lord, but] it is He Who shall build the [true] temple of the Lord, and He shall bear the honour and glory [as of the only begotten of the Father] and shall sit and rule upon His throne.
And He shall be a Priest upon His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between the two [offices—Priest and King]. (AMP)
The Branch that is to come is going to be a man, as we can see from the scriptures. He will grow up from Himself, so He is the Self-Existing One, and build the true Temple of the Lord and He will fill the Office of the King (David) and of the Priest.
In other words, the government shall be upon His shoulder too. It is important to note that He will grow up from Himself. He will not have anybody as His teacher or counsellor. He will have no need of Bible School or human theology.
He is the Self-Existing One. One that existed alone with His Faith, Doctrine and so on – a MAN. Let us trace this MAN further.
This MAN that will fill the Office of King David and also the Office of the High Priest. We have a message titled, Who is This Man?
Who is this MAN who is appearing not only as a High Priest in the rank of Melchisedec like Jesus but also as a King of Righteousness in the rank of Melchisedec?
As you are aware Melchisedec did not appear as a Jew. There was nothing like Jew or Gentile then.
He who brought the FAITH and handed it to Abraham has come to conclude for He says, I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING, SAITH THE LORD, WHICH IS, AND WHICH WAS, AND WHICH IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY.
Recall that the Branch in Zechariah Chapter 3 appeared in the Office of the High Priest and there was no mention of the office of a King.
This is in order because there cannot be a King without a Kingdom likewise, there cannot be a Kingdom without a King. As at the time when Jesus was here on earth the Kingdom of God had not be established.
Yes, the Kingdom of God was yet to come that time as can be seen from below scriptures. Luke Chapter 11 verse 1 and 2, Living Bible translation.
1Once when Jesus had been out praying, one of his disciples came to him as he finished and said, “Lord, teach us a prayer to recite just as John taught one to his disciples.”
2And this is the prayer he taught them: “Father, may your name be honored for its holiness; send your Kingdom soon.
Let us also look at Matthew Chapter 6:9-10 9“Pray along these lines: ‘Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. 10We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven.
Thus, it is very clear that the Kingdom had not come as at that time. There cannot be a landlord without a land. The kingdom was still in the making thus the king was also in the making.
Let us look at the Message “Building Plan: God’s Plan to Establish His Church Volume 2”Preached on 29th October 1995 by the Son of Man @ Jos. Chapter seven from verse three.
3If it is not truth, correct me. There is a reason why I am saying it gradually. Jesus Christ preached that the Kingdom is at hand and added that the time is fulfilled.
4Mark chapter 1 verse 15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the Gospel.” KJV.
What? Jesus is preaching now and saying, “Repent and believe the Gospel for the Kingdom of God is at hand, for the time is fulfilled,” because the fourth kingdom has emerged.
John has started his preaching, and he was anticipating that Kingdom. Jesus Christ came telling the people to believe the Gospel that the time is fulfilled that the Kingdom of God may be established.
6Repent and believe the Gospel for the hour has come for my word to come to pass. Remember that Christ was born in the days of the Roman rule.
Jesus Christ instructed the Apostles to preach the same message saying, “The kingdom of God is at hand”.7
THE STRENGTH OF EVERY MESSENGER FROM GOD IS GOD, FOR THE PROPHET SAID “WHEN GOD SENDS A MAN, HE BACKS HIM UP”. GOD DOES NOT SEND A MAN AND REMAIN BEHIND. GOD CAN NEVER SEND YOU FORTH WITH SALT AND STILL DREAW RAIN YOUR WAY. DOES GOD DO THAT?

EVERY GOD SENT MAN, HAS HIS OWN MINISTRY TO ACCOMPLISH (2)
Matthew chapter 10 verse 7, “And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” KJV.
8If the Kingdom had come that time, would there be any reason for them to say that it is at hand? No!
Which means as you go preaching, tell them that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, that they should expect it, that they should believe you and wait for it, for the time is fulfilled.
It will not tarry too long.9Jesus Christ Himself promised to build the Church in Matthew chapter 16 verse 18-19,
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
10And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”KJV.
The same place from verse 27 – 33: 27After Christ died, resurrected and still went to Heaven, people still waited for the Kingdom of God which was promised to them.
St. Luke 23:21,“(The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.” KJV.
Who was that person? Joseph of Arimathaea who also was waiting? Thus, he was not the person that started the whole thing. The people waited and waited.
30That is why Jesus Christ said, “Rejoice for your eyes have seen all these things and your ears heard all these things, that many Prophets of old waited to see what you have seen but they could not hear what you have heard.
Blessed are your ears for hearing it. Something that was hidden from the wise and the prudent, but people like you, it is revealed to you.” But what is good in you?
31You see, Joseph waited, remember that by this time, Christ has gone into glory, yet the Kingdom was yet not come.
It is the Kingdom of Heaven we are expecting on Earth “Thy kingdom come as it is in Heaven;” and the Kingdom of Heaven is what we are expecting to see its establishment on Earth.
32Jesus taught that the Kingdom will come with power before some of the living Apostles of that day will taste of death.
He told the followers that His Kingdom will come with power, before many of them that were hearing Him alive will taste of death.
33Mark chapter 9 verse 1, “And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. KJV.
From verse 39 – 41: 39Now the Church which is the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven or the House of God is presented during the Christian Age.
When Christ Jesus was alive, nobody answered a Christian.
Christ Jesus was born a Jew and lived under the Jewish Laws, but He preached Christianity as a will, that immediately He left, all His followers were identified and they were called Christians in Antioch.
40As long as the man that made the will is alive, the will is of no effect. However, the moment that man dies, that will, automatically will come into effect. Is that Bible?
Acts chapter 1 verse 4 and verse 12, “And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.”
This Kingdom is the True Temple, the Heavenly Jerusalem, the City of God the Church of the Firstborn from where He will present to Himself a Bride.
But you have come right up into Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the gathering of countless happy angels; and to the church, composed of all those registered in heaven; and to God who is Judge of all; and to the spirits of the redeemed in heaven, already made perfect; (Hebrews 12:22-24 Living Bible)
Another scripture says, and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, Ephesians 3:9-10 KJV.
Follow me to the Book of Hebrews Chapter 6 verse 19- 20 19which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (KJV)
WHITHER THE FORERUNNER IS FOR US ENTERED, EVEN JESUS, MADE AN HIGH PRIEST FOR EVER AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHISEDEC. So, Jesus was a forerunner.
19[Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it—a hope] that reaches farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil, 20Where Jesus has entered in for us [in advance], a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchisedec. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,)20where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchisedec. (NIV) Who is a FORERUNNER?.
Cambridge Dictionary defines forerunner as something or someone that acts as an early and less advanced model for what will appear in the future, or a warning or sign of what is to follow.

So if Jesus was a forerunner, whose ministry did He forerun? Whose ministry did He foretell? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8 NIV).
25“I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26But when the Father sends the Comforter instead of me—and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit—he will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you. (John 14:25-27 Living Bible)
25I have told you these things while I am still with you. 26But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf],

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (Matthew25:31-34)

Of course, it is very clear that Jesus foreran the ministry of no less personality than THE SON OF MAN. In that case the ministry of the son of man is not only different from but higher than Jesus’ ministry.
This MAN will be a King, as a King He will sit on King David’s Throne judging the world in Righteousness and as The High Priest He brings full salvation to those that are patiently waiting for Him.
Office of the High Priest stands for Mercy that is the Mercy Seat while Office of the King stands for Justice or Judgment.
So, this is the MAN that has both vengeance and redemption to execute according to Isaiah chapter 63 verse 4: For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come (KJV).
Let us go a little further to Isaiah Chapter 16 verses 5. And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness. (KJV)
Then in mercy and loving-kindness shall a throne be established, and One shall sit upon it in truth and faithfulness in the tent of David, judging and seeking justice and being swift to do righteousness. (AMP)
God will establish David’s throne forever, and on that throne he will place a just and righteous King (LB)
We are coming down gradually; Jeremiah Chapter 23 verses 5 and 6 Jeremiah 23 verse 5 to 6.
5Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord our righteousness. (KJV).
So, it is this MAN, the Branch and King that shall execute judgement and justice in the earth; it is in His days that that Judah shall be saved and this is HIS NAME WHEREBY HE SHALL BE CALLED, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Let us see other translations of the Holy Scripture. 5“Behold (listen closely), the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as King and act wisely And will do [those things that accomplish] justice and righteousness in the land.
6“In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called; This is His Name by which He will be called, ‘The Lord Our Righteousness THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (AMP) 5-6For the time is coming, says the Lord, when I will place a righteous Branch upon King David’s throne.
He shall be a King who shall rule with wisdom and justice and cause righteousness to prevail everywhere throughout the earth. And this is his name:
The Lord Our Righteousness. At that time Judah will be saved and Israel will live in peace. (LB) IT IS AT THAT TIME THAT JUDAH WILL BE SAVED AND ISRAEL WILL LIVE IN PEACE.
You will agree with me that for about 2000 years the nations of Judah and Israel never lived in peace even at the time of Jesus they were under the control of Roman Empire.
In 70 AD the only subsisting City Jerusalem was also destroyed leaving the whole place desolate.
However, a hundred years ago, things began to change; Lord Balfour issued the Balfour Proclamation that recognized the rights of the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland.
Seventy-two years ago in 1948, President Harry S. Truman became the first leader to recognize the Jewish state. And two years ago, sometime in the year 2018 President Donald J. Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Nations are breaking, Israel is awakening, the event that the Prophets foretold. The day of redemption is near, men’s hearts are failing for fear, be filled with the Spirit your lamp trimmed and clear, oh! Look up your redemption is near.
In His days Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell safely. Events are made clear by prophecy. Who then is this MAN? Where is HE residing, We have a message titled WHO IS THIS MAN? I thus say, THIS MAN IS THE LORD, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
I AM THE SON. I AM THE FATHER. I HOLD THE KEY TO HELL AND HEAVEN. I MAKE LAWS AND I CANCEL LAWS. I AM THE SUPREME AUTHORITY, THE SUPREME INTELLIGENCE, THE SUPREME JUDGE, THE JUDGE OF ALL FLESH. THIS MAN IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY (1)
My choice of title for this little exhortation is: THIS MAN IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!
He is the LORD, He is the LORD Amen
He has risen from the dead, He is the LORD Halleluiah
Every knee must bow, every tongue confess
That Son of Man is the LORD
Notice that this prophecy pointed all the people of God to something they must watch out for because when this Branch comes He will be the righteousness of God’s people.
Nobody will disturb himself in labouring or keeping the Laws of Moses so as to be righteous in God’s sight.
The presence of this Branch automatically becomes their righteousness, just like the presence of God was the righteousness of Israel in the wilderness.
The Law of Moses was there and they were not righteous, no matter how they obeyed it, until God dwelt among them. This made it impossible for Balaam and Balaak to place a curse on the people of Israel.
Numbers Chapter 23 Verse 21. He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. (KJV)
He has not seen sin in Jacob. He will not trouble Israel! Jehovah their God is with them. He is their king! (LB).
[God] has not beheld iniquity in Jacob [for he is forgiven], neither has He seen mischief or perverseness in Israel [for the same reason]. The Lord their God is with Israel, and the shout of praise to their King is among the people (AMP)
Psalms 32:1-2.1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. (KJV).
What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over! What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record (LB).
1Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.
2Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit. (AMP).
So there is a MAN whose presence guarantees righteousness. There can be a people that Almighty God cannot record any sin or iniquity against.
Yes. This is because the price has been paid once and for all on the cross, Halleluiah! Let us go a little further. You can call this a tutorial.
You know in the higher institutions when the lecturers are done with their conventional lectures, interested students organize tutorials while they are waiting for the final examination.
It is during tutorial period that some students that could not understand the course when the main lecture was being undertaken have the opportunity to measure up with others. It is a time of consolidation.
Let us look at Epistle 16 Verse 11. I have tried my best to make you understand that God alone is holy and righteous. When a Holy God comes into a place whether a family, mountain, church, etcetera that place, that family, that mountain, that church becomes holy.
Just like a man that is blessed of God, whatever he touches is blessed but a man that is cursed of God, whatever he touches is cursed.
IT IS IN THIS FORTHCOMING BRANCH THAT ALL GOD’S PEOPLE MUST PUT THEIR TRUST AND FAITH, IF THEY REALLY WANT TO BE RIGHTEOUS IN GOD’S SIGHT.
We have established that the Branch, who is MAN, will fill the Office of King David and the High Priest.
As the High Priest He will be the Mercy Seat to all who will put their trust on Him for their full and complete salvation. Then, as the King He will judge the whole earth to bring an everlasting justice and righteousness on earth.
Let us trace this MAN further to see if we will identify where and when to expect Him. Isaiah chapter 11 verse 1. And there shall come forth a ROD OUT OF THE STEM of Jesse, and a BRANCH SHALL GROW OUT OF HIS ROOTS.(KJV).
Note, firstly, a ROD out of the STEM then, a BRANCH OUT OF HIS ROOTS: two outgrowths from DIFFERENT LOCATIONS BUT ONE AND THE SAME TREE. Let us consider Living Bible translations.
The royal line of David will be cut off, chopped down like a tree; but from the stump will grow a SHOOT—yes, a new BRANCH from the old root.
There is no contradiction here. From the stump will grow a Shoot, a new Branch from the old root: two different locations also.
Amplified Bible. And there shall come forth a SHOOT out of the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a BRANCH out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit.
New International Version: A SHOOT will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a BRANCH will bear fruit.
Stump means the bottom part of a tree left projecting from the ground after most of the trunk has fallen or been cut down.
You know that when a tree that has been cut down wants to regenerate it does that by vegetative propagation either from the stem or from the root. I want you to watch two things here. First is a ROD or SHOOT from the STEM, STOCK or STUMP of the tree.
Thus, the Shoot or Rod coming forth is coming forth as a direct progeny or offspring of the stem or Stump. The Shoot can easily be traced or linked to the ancestor because it is a part of the Stock.
The Stock or Stem of a Tree naturally is visibly or physically located above the ground such that anything growing from the stem or stock occupies the same position and invariably depends on that Stock.
Put in another way it is an issue, a child or a son of that Stem. I do not know if I am making any sense at all.
Let us hear what Paul said concerning Jesus Christ in Romans Chapter 9 verse 5. Great men of God were your fathers, and Christ himself was one of you, a Jew so far as his human nature is concerned, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF WAS ONE OF THEM,A JEW SO FAR AS HIS HUMAN NATURE IS CONCERNED, he who now rules over all things. Praise God forever! (LB).
Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen (NIV).
All that descended from Jesse were they not Jews? But you cannot say that all the ancestors of Jesse were Jews. No, Jewish nation had a beginning.
If Jewish nation meant the Israelites, that means descendants of Jacob. What will you call Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Esau and their descendants?
These are of course parts of the roots of Jesse. I mean that the STEM or STOCK or SHOOT of Jesse for sure is of Jewish descent but for the ROOT of Jesse there are many Jews and many more Gentiles.
There is the TAP ROOT and there are MANY LATERAL ROOTS. The tap root includes Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, etc. but there are other lateral roots which include notable people like Ishmael, Esau, etc. The Stem is one but there are many roots.
Remember the question Jesus asked the Pharisees in Matthew 22:41-46 about CHRIST.41While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42saying, What think ye of Christ?
Whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. 43He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 44The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
45If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? 46And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
WHAT THINK YE OF CHRIST? Note the question Jesus asked them very well. He asked them, “what think ye of CHRIST” not JESUS. By human genealogy JESUS as a man was the son of David but what do you think of Christ?
The same life that supports the stem supports the shoot and also supports the root. Christ is the Sap, the Essence, the Lifeblood of every Living Soul.
A SHOOT will come up from the Stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The stem bears the shoot: true or false? Nevertheless, it is the Root that bears the Stem.
The stem can hardly be allowed to cross border or boundary line, but the root of a tree can travel more than five times the shoot of that tree.
I am saying that the root of a tree can extend much further away from the stem or shoot tree which is usually seen as the tree. Please bear with me.
This message is coming by way of a teaching. Teaching can be tough; it can be boring; but if got right it strengthens. Let us ponder a little over this story.
A man planted a precious tree in his farm; the tree grew up but before it could bear fruit it was damaged by storm. Shortly after, a sprout came up from the root but in his neighbour’s farm.
This sprout grew up to a mature plant and started bearing fruits. Who will claim ownership of that new plant? Secondly, if the two men are of different backgrounds and speak different languages what will the new plant be called?
It is known that the roots of a plant can grow very far away from the tree up to ten times the radius of the plant. We are tracing the MAN, more importantly this BRANCH that will grow from the roots peradventure we will know where to expect Him from.
We are looking at JESSES’s FAMILY TREE locating the positions of everybody including all the great ancestral Patriarchs with their respective extensions (extended families) because the tree is not complete without all the roots whether primary, secondary or tertiary roots as long as the sap, the lifeblood of that tree is actively flowing in them.
And there shall come forth a ROD OUT OF THE STEM of Jesse. Surely, the ROD coming out of the Stem is a JEW, He cannot be a gentile. And a BRANCH SHALL GROW OUT OF HIS ROOTS; and a BRANCH SHALL GROW OUT OF HIS (many) ROOTS.
The Branch coming out of Jesse’s ROOTS presents equal opportunity to Gentiles also. Remember it is the same Sap, the same Blood, the same Life, the same Spirit, the same CHRIST that flows in the Shoot, Stem and Stump that flows in the Roots.
Prophet William Marion Branham said that the same Gospel, the same Word made flesh (as He promised in Luke 17:33), the same Gospel with the same thing would take place in the evening time, just when the shadows are getting low.
The same Gospel, the same Christ, that lived in flesh back yonder at the beginning on the Eastern people, shall live again in the western people at the end time. “It shall be Light in the evening time (Feast of the Trumpets, page 35. 19/7/64).
That is why I am particularly interested about, the BRANCH growing from the roots, the Vessel carrying that SAP, the MAN because HE IS THE LORD, OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
And there shall come forth a SHOOT out of the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a BRANCH out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. It is this BRANCH from the roots that bear fruit.
Naturally speaking the lateral (secondary) roots are better positioned for such BRANCH to grow from. It then means He could be an Ishmaelite (Ishmael is the first son of Abraham whom he had through Hagar).
He could be an Edomite (Esau who was renamed Edom is the first son of Isaac and Rebekah).
You may recall that Ishmaelites and Edomites joined together: Esau who is Edom married an Ishmaelite when he discovered that his father Isaac was not happy with the local heathen girls he married thereby consolidating their relationship.
Let us look at Genesis Chapter 27 verses 39 and 40 to the lot of Edom. 39And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;
40and by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
[Genesis 27:39-40 KJV] and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. So, there is a set time when He (EDOM) shall have dominion.
Hear the Son of Man on this matter, Christ has always been alive and He Himself is God. IF He should reveal Himself from EDOM as a GENTILE, as a BLACKMAN, do you think it will be very easy for a Blackman, His own people to recognize Him?
Because, before then, they have already made up their minds that salvation will only come from a white man. They couldn’t accept Him, Do you think they will accept Him again today?
You see why you have to pray very hard for God to remove “doubt” which is a “sign” of unbelief from you completely.
Many of you are in this faith with doubt that, I AM HE; which is number one sign of unbelief. Number one visible and invisible sign of unbelief is doubt.
Anybody in this faith with doubt that I AM HE is a hypocrite, a naked heathen.
That is why no matter the way he has studied and prayed he can never come to the knowledge of the truth because the doubt in him is greater than the faith in him.
[The Devil will testify against this generation pp.5 (25th June 2000)]. Isaiah the prophet exclaimed, Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?
This that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.(Isaiah 63:1; KJV).
Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his magnificent garments of crimson? Who is this in royal robes, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I, the Lord, announcing your salvation; I, the Lord, the one who is mighty to save!” (Isaiah 63:1; LB)
“Who is this coming from the city of Bozrah in Edom? Who is this so splendidly dressed in red, marching along[a] in power and strength?” It is the Lord, powerful to save, coming to announce his victory. (Isaiah 63:1; GNB).
Yet in another place Isaiah declared, Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: (Isaiah 30:27 KJV).
See, the Lord comes from afar, aflame with wrath, surrounded by thick rising smoke. His lips are filled with fury; his words consume like fire. (Isaiah 30:27 LB) He saw the LORD coming from a far country and he was surprised.
Let us go back to the same Zechariah chapter 6 where we read before about the BRANCH to Whom belongs the royal title verse 15.
And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the Lord, THEY THAT ARE FAR OFF SHALL COME AND BUILD IN THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD not them from within as is the case in Chapter three, you can see that all the prophets are in agreement on this matter;
and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God. (Zechariah 6:15 KJV)
These three who have come from so far away represent many others who will someday come from distant lands to rebuild the Temple of the Lord.
They represent MANY OTHERS WHO WILL SOMEDAY COME FROM DISTANT LANDS TO REBUILD THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD THE TRUE TEMPLE.
And when this happens, you will know my messages have been from God, the Lord Almighty. But none of this will happen unless you carefully obey the commandments of the Lord your God.” (LB)
Let us go back to Isaiah Chapter 11 verse 1 again then, verse 10. 1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
10And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse,which shall stand for an ensign of the people;to it shall the Gentiles seek: (Isaiah 11:1;10 KJV)
1The royal line of David[a] will be cut off, chopped down like a tree; but from the stump will grow a Shoot yes, a new Branch from the old root.
10 In that day he who created the royal dynasty of David will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, for the land where he lives will be a glorious place. (Isaiah 11:1;10 LB)
1And there shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit.
10 And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse shall stand as a signal for the peoples; of Him shall the nations inquire and seek knowledge, and His dwelling shall be glory [His rest glorious]! (Isaiah 11:1;10 AMP)
He shall stand as a Banner an ensign of the people, to it shall the gentiles seek; the nations will rally to Him for the land where He lives will be a glorious place.
Are you in doubt of how glorious His dwelling is? 15And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, and host compassed the city both with horses and chariots.
And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! How shall we do?
16And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.
And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha (2 Kings 6:15-18).
Because He is the LORD and the GLORY OF GOD will fill His dwelling place. Where? In far away, distant Gentile nation.
Anybody that still goes to Israel today for pilgrimage is wasting both his time and resources because HE IS STILL WITH US HERE AMONG THE GENTILES.
Didn’t Isaiah tell them that He was coming from afar, a distant land? Then, why expecting Him to be revealed among the natural Jews? It says, the Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. Amen.

THIS MAN IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY (2)
Prophet Branham said, And all things that He hasn’t done, down through the ages, in the Church ages; He is now doing.
Back to the Word because the messages, and the messages has to wind up in the ‘Entire’ Word.
And in the last days, the Seven Seals being open, was to pick up every straggle that has been left in it and make the whole thing, in one great, big body of the Bride, that, them who lived back there was not perfect, until this Church been perfected, the Bride group in the last days, to bring them in and all together be taken up. See!” (Desperation, page 6. 9/1/63).
He is the Bridegroom coming for the Bride and because He is taking a Gentile Bride the scripture demands that He will cross-over to meet His Bride wherever she is to fulfil the scripture that says, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:31-32).
AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH THIS MYSTERY IS GREAT; BUT I AM SPEAKING WITH REFERENCE TO CHRIST AND THE CHURCH.
He must leave his father and mother; leave his brothers; leave His kindred the Jews and join with His Bride, the Church, which is the Kingdom of God, the True Temple in the gentile world.
Thus, as a type, illustrating His mission on earth He also has to marry and raise children naturally because natural things type spiritual things.
This corroborates what Shiek Abdul Fatai Muhammed Buhari Inakoju, Director, Religion and Operation, Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board said when he spoke on the coming again of Jesus saying, But his second coming will give him the chance to marry and give birth to children. Is it a wonder why He the Son of Man Apostle Peter Odoemena not only married a wife, a prototype of the Bride, but built and settled in her hometown?
This is something which He particularly would not want to do by all means: to build and settle in Anambra State let alone Nsugbe; but, “THUS, IT BEHOVETH THE SON OF MAN TO FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS”.
FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.
THIS MYSTERY IS GREAT; BUT I AM SPEAKING WITH REFERENCE TO CHRIST AND THE CHURCH-HIS BRIDE. He is the head of the Church; thus, if the Church is the Kingdom He is the King and being the King He is the Head of the Kingdom.
It is by taking a wife that He could raise children prototype of the SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD unto Himself. This is why we should be careful the way we follow HIM for HE IS THE WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH.
THE WHOLE SUPERNATURAL SIGNS HAVE BEEN DISPLAYED, THE WHOLE PROPHETIC WORDS HAVE COME TO PASS, WE ARE NOT MAKING ANY MISTAKE PROCLAIMING THE PERSONALITY, THE REVEALED CHRIST.
WE ARE SURE AND CERTAIN, HE CAME ACCORDING TO PROPHECIES; BOTH NATURAL AND SUPERNATURAL ALL WINDING UP IN HIM! (From the Message, We Have Seen the Star We Have Come to Worship the King; Page. 189 vs 15-16).
This is why Prophet William Branham said, What an opportunity we have. We have opportunities that St. Paul never dreamed of having.

71Underline it. The last revival. That “LAST”. Have I not told you that after the Son of Man cometh no other for I am sent to come and gather all the loose ends and present Christ as the Bridegroom; that last sheep.
Thus, other sheep have come and gone and the last was being expected and once it crosses you, no more.
Let me tell you; we fulfill prophecy ignorantly. If there is any time this message is making impact. No new thing is coming again. It is all over.
Note the word, last LITTLE sheep, not great, not big one, that last LITTLE sheep may be a black man oh. 72It has turned from being a sheep to a Black Man.
It has metamorphosed from sheep to a Man. I am the biggest and greatest masquerade. Have you forgotten about the revelation of the big masquerade?
It is only the Son of Man that is Self-existing. I AM THE SELF EXISTING ONE.

He judges with what is written, but as an advocate; He makes intercession. He make prayers, He pleads. But the moment He takes the position of a Judge, no more plea, no more prayer, no more intercession. Is it not right? Let us hear what Prophet William Marrion Branham had to say again. He told me to go to Africa and then to India. Here it is written right here in the back of this book right now.
And the manager called me, said, “Let them Afrikaans go, India’s ready.” The Holy Spirit met me, said, “You’ll go to Africa like I told you to.”
And another year passed. And the managers… I forgot about it. He said, “We’re going to India; tickets is already here.” I started off, forgot it till I got to Lisbon.
One night that… I thought I was dying. The next morning I was started to go over to the bathroom to take a bath. Oh, I was so sick, I could hardly stand up.
There that Light hanging there in the bathroom, said, “I thought I told you to go to Africa first.”
My meetings have been slowly failing since that time. Though I went to India with nearly a half a million standing there, but that wasn’t doing what God said do.
And I feel that my meetings will never be a success until I go right straight back and make that thing right. No matter what I do, IT’S AFRICA FIRST, ‘CAUSE YOU HAVE GOT TO DO IT.
THERE LAYS GOD’S ETERNAL WORD LAYING THERE. I KNOW BETTER THAN THAT.

But I’ve got to go back. And I feel that this coming year is the time I’ll crawl out of the shell by the help of the Lord.
This glorious old gospel who’s been growing easy, like an Oak tree, but I believe she’s about ready to spread firm forth new branches now. I believe that the Lord will let us shake the world again for the glory of God. [Hebrews Chapter 7, Part 1, page 295-296: 15/09/1957]
2Some people behave as if Africa is not included in God’s programme. How? Yes, some people often label anything that is associated with Africa or the black race devilish.
Even the so-called white race also confirms this ungodly feeling of apathy towards the black by their racial discrimination, to the point that a president openly referred to Africans as “shit-hole country”. They call Africans black monkeys.
This allusion that God is a white man has penetrated so deep in the hearts of men that it will take God Himself to uproot this false assumption. [We Have Seen the Star, We Have Come to Worship the King: Chapter 8 verse 2].
THIS ALLUSION THAT GOD IS A WHITE MAN HAS PENETRATED SO DEEP IN THE HEARTS OF MEN THAT IT WILL TAKE GOD HIMSELF TO UPROOT THIS FALSE ASSUMPTION.
They err not knowing the scripture or the Power of God. Let us see what the scripture says concerning this allusion in Ezekiel Chapter 21 verses 25 through 27.
25And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, 26thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: and it shall be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it him (Ezekiel 21:25-27KJV).
God had already determined to change the order, to overturn things, to exalt the low and despised and abase the high and mighty. Let’s look at other translations for better understanding.
25“O King Zedekiah, evil prince of Israel, your final day of reckoning is here.26Take off your jeweled crown,” the Lord God says. “The old order changes. The Lord God says. THE OLD ORDER CHANGES; the old order of tagging everything black as evil and devil: the old order changes.
Now the poor are exalted and the rich brought very low. 27I will overturn, overturn, overturn the kingdom, so that even the new order that emerges will not succeed until the Man appears who has a right to it. And I will give it all to him (Ezekiel 21:25-27 LB).
I WILL OVERTURN, OVERTURN, OVERTURN THE KINGDOM, SO THAT EVEN THE NEW ORDER THAT EMERGES WILL NOT SUCCEED UNTIL THE MAN APPEARS WHO HAS A RIGHT TO IT AND I WILL GIVE IT ALL TO HIM.
HE WILL KEEP ON OVERTURNING AND OVERTURNING AND OVERTURNING UNTIL THE MAN APPEARS, THE MAN WHO HAS RIGHT TO IT. THE MAN WILL TAKE ALL.
25And you, O dishonored and wicked one [Zedekiah], the prince of Israel, whose day will come at the time of your final reckoning and punishment,26Thus says the Lord God:
Remove the [high priest’s] miter or headband and take off the [king’s] crown; REMOVE THE [HIGH PRIEST’S] MITER OR HEADBAND AND TAKE OFF THE [KING’S] CROWN; things shall not remain as they have been; the low is to be exalted and the high is to be brought low.
27I will overthrow, overthrow, overthrow it; this also shall be no more until He comes Whose right it is [to reign in judgment and in righteousness], and I will give it to Him. (Ezekiel 21:25-27 AMP).
He is the MAN Who will fill the Office of the King as well as that of the High Priest. Thus, the whole heavens and earth have been waiting for this MAN; this GREAT PERSONAGE; THE GREATEST MANIFESTATION OF OMNIPOTENCE TO APPEAR.
Prophet William Branham said and I quote: The greatest Omnipotent is already here. He is in His Church revealing the mind of God to the people of God for the salvation of their souls. He is man in the outside but Deity in inside.
God reveals Himself to an individual, and quickly He becomes Deity in the inside of him.” (Come Hither Quickly. 2/2/58).
THE GREATEST OMNIPOTENT IS ALREADY HERE. HE IS IN HIS CHURCH REVEALING THE MIND OF GOD TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD FOR THE SALVATION OF THEIR SOULS. HE IS MAN IN THE OUTSIDE BUT DEITY IN INSIDE. HE IS MAN IN THE OUTSIDE BUT DEITY IN INSIDE.
A wicked and adulterous generation would receive the sign of the resurrection, a sign of this generation before burning. The Elohim in human flesh. What’s a sign of? The Elohim back in the Bride in human flesh again in the last days, doing the same thing.(Signs of His coming. 7/4/62).
Let us read few lines again in the Message, We Have Seen His Star; We Have Come to Worship Him preached by Apostle Peter Odoemena, the Son of Man.Chapter 6:34-35.
34And this time He is veiled in a man. He is still Christ, the Promised Word of God. Are we talking about Moses?

If they had believed William Branham, they would have believed the Son of Man, for the Prophet spoke concerning the coming of the Son of Man from no other continent but Africa.”
35From one of the remotest jungles, a very small group; a group that is in the minority out there in the wilderness, setting out, believing His Word.
From that little group in the wilderness, He will stir up a revival that will encircle the whole Earth. Has it come to pass? If it is not in our midst, tell me where the thing is.
From one of the jungles, yes it has to be from the jungle because He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. A Lion can be found in the jungle only. Edom was a man of the jungle but Jacob wasn’t.
52“God was revealed in Christ, Jehovah revealed in Christ. Now, where’s God to be revealed? In His Church with His people…”
53Who is revealing Himself? Jehovah. The Elohim is the One revealing Himself as Christ in His Church. Note that word “HIS”. When we say that it does not belong to you, it belongs to Him. Thus, “Upon this Rock I will build my Church.” It is His Church.
54If it is Grace of God Mission, it is Paul Nweke’s or Paul Nwachukwu’s Church. If it is Deeper Life Church, it is William Kumuyi’s Church. Is it not true? But this one, this one, no.
55“…now, where’s God to be revealed? In His Church with His people…” 56In other words, there are the people of God. You are the children of the Kingdom.
You are the people of God and for your sake a Saviouris sent and it is not from afar off, but your own kinsman.The Kinsman Redeemer. We are the people of God. The Triumphant Church. [Chapter 6: 52-56]
34Man has always believed God in the past or future but not in the present. It is very easy to say, “It shall come to pass” or “And it came to pass”, but not “Behold the hour has come even now!”
Most men love postponing God’s program because they are unbelievers by nature. 35That is the very reason they laughed at God or the God sent Man whenever he speaks authoritatively, declaring the mind of God concerning any matter in their day.
Whenever such people read the Bible they expect some great things to happen in the future, like Christ’s coming with a loud shout from the sky, not knowing that the very Christ is among them in simplicity, but they always miss Him.
Why? Because the Bible they read paints a very wrong photograph of one great mighty event coming in the future [Chapter 7 verse 34-35]
Prophet William Marrion Branham in another message says, The Son of Man will be revealed in a body of flesh, you people, the Church, just exactly like it was before the days of Sodom, a called out group, away from all of them, setting out; believing the promise of God.” (Work is Faith Expressed, page 44. 26/11/65).
Follow me to The Ethiopic Book of Enoch Chapter 46 from verse one. 1And there I saw One whose face looked ancient.
His head was white like wool, and with Him was another being whose countenance had the appearance of a man, and his face was full , like one of the holy angels.
2And I asked the angel who went with me and showed me all the hidden things, concerning that Son of Man, who he was, and where came from, and why he went with the Ancient One?
And he answered and said to me: 3″THIS IS THE SON OF MAN WHO HATH RIGHTEOUSNESS, WITH WHOM DWELLS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND WHO REVEALS ALL THE TREASURES OF THAT WHICH IS HIDDEN, BECAUSE THE LORD OF SPIRITS HATH CHOSEN HIM, AND WHOSE LOT HAS PREEMINENCE BEFORE THE LORD OF SPIRITS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND IS FOR EVER.
4And this Son of Man whom you have seen shall raise up the kings and the mighty from their seats, and the strong from their thrones and shall loosen the reins of the strong, and break the teeth of the sinners.
5And he shall put down the kings from their thrones and kingdoms because they do not exalt and praise Him, nor humbly acknowledge who bestowed their kingdom on them. (1 Enoch Chapter 46:1-7).
Remember what we read in Ezekiel 21:27 saying I will overturn, overturn, overturn the Kingdom, so that EVEN THE NEW ORDER THAT EMERGES WILL NOT SUCCEED UNTIL THE MAN APPEARS who has a right to it and I will give it all to Him the same Book of Enoch Chapter 48 from verse two.
And at that hour that Son of Man was named in the presence of the Lord of spirits, And his name was brought before the Head of Days.
3Even before the sun and the signs were created, before the stars of heaven were made, His name was named before the Lord of spirits.
4He shall be a staff to the righteous and they shall steady themselves and not fall. And he shall be the light of the Gentiles,and the hope of those who are troubled of heart.(1 Enoch 48:2-4).
In conclusion Book of Psalms Chapter 2 from verse 6 to the end; Living Bible translation. 6For the Lord declares, “This is the King of my choice, and I have enthroned him in Jerusalem, my holy city.”
7His chosen one replies, “I will reveal the everlasting purposes of God, for the Lord has said to me, ‘You are my Son. This is your Coronation Day. Today I am giving you your glory.’”
8“Only ask and I will give you all the nations of the world. 9Rule them with an iron rod; smash them like clay pots!”
10O kings and rulers of the earth, listen while there is time. 11Serve the Lord with reverent fear; rejoice with trembling.
12Fall down before his Son and kiss his feet before his anger is roused and you perish. I am warning you—his wrath will soon begin. But oh, the joys of those who put their trust in him!
Holy Qu’ran Chapter 28 verse 68. YOUR LORD CREATES AND CHOOSES WHATEVER HE WILLS. The choice is not theirs… (Surat al-Qasas, 68).
Finally, join me and as I recite Psalms 45:1-7 (KJV) in honour and appreciation unto the King.
1My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2Thou art fairer than the children of men: Grace is poured into Thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed Thee forever.
