We must not miss the target this time, for time is no more Compiled On Friday 28th April, 2023. By Pastor Daniel Peter Atah Household of God Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.

APPROVED AND AUTHORISED BY

APOSTLE PETER ODOEMENA THE SON OF MAN

That person whose word make a real positive impact in the lives of people that hear Him and stay around Him, that person is the target. He is the target. It is written in the Bible, “Pursue them and capture them, for they have lost their protection.” That is what Iblis [the devil] said, He knows when you are in the Faith. He equally knows when you are not in the Faith.

WE CANNOT AFFORD TO MISS THE TARGET THIS TIME

May the name of the Lord be praised forever. Without wasting much of our time, let us look into the scriptures for                                       the time we are living in now, if we are not careful, we might miss the target because of carelessness in the life of many because in time past, there are people that missed the target.

  1. If we are not careful, what befell the people in time past, will befall us today. That is why, God declared state of emergency in the bride. For there are people that are on the verge of missing the target.
  2. Our former Pastor Nnamdi Ogbogu now late handled a message when he was in our midst titled failure before the target. So, there are people that failed before the target. Can we now afford to fail as well? The choice is ours to make.
  3. We know that it is not by power but by the grace of God Apostle Peter Odoemena, blessed be His Most Holy Name. But remember that before God will help you, he must see the willingness in you.
  4. We cannot fold our arms and say “God help us” without us showing him that we need his help. If it is not like that, the scriptures will not say we should strive to enter the narrow gate.
  5. Let us look into the scriptures and see what God has for us. The book of Psalms chapter 78 from verse 1 to the end. Living Bible.
  6. O my people, listen to my teaching. Open your ears to what I am saying.
  7. 2-3 For I will show you lessons from our history, stories handed down to us from former generations.
  8. I will reveal these truths to you so that you can describe these glorious deeds of Jehovah to your children and tell them about the mighty miracles he did…”
  9. I will reveal this truth to you so that you can explain them to your children of what God did in our midst so that they can know the God they have come to worship, and also to be guided.
  10. “…For he gave his laws to Israel and commanded our fathers to teach them to their children,
  11. so that they in turn could teach their children too. Thus his laws pass down from generation to generation…”
  12. Look at it. He God gave his ordinances to us and commanded the fathers to teach their children so that they, the children, in turn will teach also their own children. By so doing, God’s teachings will be passed from generation to generations. The same instruction we also received in our own generation.
  13. “…In this way each generation has been able to obey his laws and to set its hope anew on God and not forget his glorious miracles.
  14. Thus they did not need to be as their fathers were—stubborn, rebellious, unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God…”
  15. What is the essence of God telling the fathers to teach their children? It is to make them not to be rebellious, stubborn, unfaithful and refusing to give their hearts to God just like their fathers did in their own generations. It is done so, for them to learn from the mistakes of their fathers?
  16. Today, what is the state of the children? They are even worse than their parents. Why? Their parents were paying lips service to the word of God, and the children became what they are today. On the other hand, some of the children refused to listen to their parents even when their parent are godly people.
  17. “…The people of Ephraim, though fully armed, turned their backs and fled when the day of battle came 10 because they didn’t obey his laws. They refused to follow his ways…”
  18. The people of Ephraim abandoned their people and ran away even when they were fully armed – when they are fully equipped for their task. When the time for battle came, they ran away and abandoned and left their brothers to die in the battle because they did not obey the word of God and follow his ways.
  19. Are we not Ephraimites today? If our fathers missed it that time, can we afford to miss it this time? Remember that Ephraim does not have a second chance simply because they did not follow their brethren to go when they were moving from Egypt.
  20. But because of the love God has for Ephraim, that was why He told his people, the Jews that he has another sheep that are not of this fold, “They I will bring in, so that they will be one sheep in the hand of one shepherd.”
  21. That is why he decided to come and rescue Ephraim and warned that they will do well to obey him this time for they do not have a second chance. You see why we cannot afford to miss the target this time? If we miss it this time, what hope do we have at the end?
  22. “…11-12 And they forgot about the wonderful miracles God had done for them and for their fathers in Egypt. 13 For he divided the sea before them and led them through! The water stood banked up along both sides of them!
  23. 14 In the daytime he led them by a cloud, and at night by a pillar of fire. 15 He split open the rocks in the wilderness to give them plenty of water, as though gushing from a spring. 16 Streams poured from the rock, flowing like a river!
  24. 17 Yet they kept on with their rebellion, sinning against the God who is above all gods. 18 They murmured and complained, demanding other food than God was giving them.
  25. 19-20 They even spoke against God himself. “Why can’t he give us decent food as well as water?” they grumbled. 21 Jehovah heard them and was angry; the fire of his wrath burned against Israel
  26. 22 because they didn’t believe in God or trust in him to care for them, 23 even though he commanded the skies to open—he opened the windows of heaven
  27. 24 and rained down manna for their food. He gave them bread from heaven! 25 They ate angels’ food! He gave them all they could hold. 26 And he led forth the east wind and guided the south wind by his mighty power.
  28. 27 He rained down birds as thick as dust, clouds of them like sands along the shore! 28 He caused the birds to fall to the ground among the tents. 29 The people ate their fill. He gave them what they asked for.
  29. 30 But they had hardly finished eating, and the meat was yet in their mouths, 31 when the anger of the Lord rose against them and killed the finest of Israel’s young men.
  30. 32 Yet even so the people kept on sinning and refused to believe in miracles. 33 So he cut their lives short and gave them years of terror and disaster.
  31. 34 Then at last, when he had ruined them, they walked awhile behind him; how earnestly they turned around and followed him!
  32. 35 Then they remembered that God was their Rock—that their Savior was the God above all gods. 36 But it was only with their words that they followed him, not with their hearts; 37 their hearts were far away. They did not keep their promises…”
  33. No matter how they shouted the name of God and praised him as their God, it was only with their mouth and not with their hearts. They were hypocrites. They were only playing politics with their belief in Christ. Their hearts were far away from what they were proclaiming with their mouth.
  34. “…38 Yet he was merciful and forgave their sins and didn’t destroy them all. Many and many a time he held back his anger. 39 For he remembered that they were merely mortal men, gone in a moment like a breath of wind.
  35. 40 Oh, how often they rebelled against him in those desert years and grieved his heart. 41 Again and again they turned away and tempted God to kill them, and limited the Holy One of Israel from giving them his blessings.
  36. 42 They forgot his power and love and how he had rescued them from their enemies; 43 they forgot the plagues he sent upon the Egyptians in Tanis
  37. 44 how he turned their rivers into blood so that no one could drink, 45 how he sent vast swarms of flies to fill the land, and how the frogs had covered all of Egypt!
  38. 46 He gave their crops to caterpillars. Their harvest was consumed by locusts. 47 He destroyed their grapevines and their sycamores with hail. 48 Their cattle died in the fields, mortally wounded by huge hailstones from heaven. Their sheep were killed by lightning.
  39. 49 He loosed on them the fierceness of his anger, sending sorrow and trouble. He dispatched against them a band of destroying angels. 50 He gave free course to his anger and did not spare the Egyptians’ lives, but handed them over to plagues and sickness.
  40. 51Then he killed the eldest son in each Egyptian family—he who was the beginning of its strength and joy. 52 But he led forth his own people like a flock, guiding them safely through the wilderness.
  41. 53 He kept them safe, so they were not afraid. But the sea closed in upon their enemies and overwhelmed them. 54 He brought them to the border of his land of blessing, to this land of hills he made for them.
  42. 55 He drove out the nations occupying the land and gave each tribe of Israel its apportioned place as its home. 56 Yet though he did all this for them, they still rebelled against the God above all gods and refused to follow his commands.
  43. 57 They turned back from entering the Promised Land and disobeyed as their fathers had. Like a crooked arrow, they missed the target of God’s will.
  44. 58 They made him angry by erecting idols and altars to other gods. 59 When God saw their deeds, his wrath was strong and he despised his people. 60 Then he abandoned his Tabernacle at Shiloh, where he had lived among mankind,
  45. 61 and allowed his Ark to be captured; he surrendered his glory into enemy hands. 62 He caused his people to be butchered because his anger was intense.
  46. 63 Their young men were killed by fire, and their girls died before they were old enough to sing their wedding songs. 64 The priests were slaughtered, and their widows died before they could even begin their lament.
  47. 65 Then the Lord rose up as though awakening from sleep, and like a mighty man aroused by wine, 66 he routed his enemies; he drove them back and sent them to eternal shame.
  48. 67 But he rejected Joseph’s family, the tribe of Ephraim, 68 and chose the tribe of Judah—and Mount Zion, which he loved. 69 There he built his towering temple, solid and enduring as the heavens and the earth.
  49. 70 He chose his servant David, taking him from feeding sheep 71-72 and from following the ewes with lambs; God presented David to his people as their shepherd, and he cared for them with a true heart and skillful hands.

These were the things God did for our forefathers, but they turned their back on him by rebelling against him again and again. Have we succeeded where they failed? Are we going to miss the target this time around? It is all in our hands. The choice is ours to make.

  1. All that we read is what they manifested in the days of Moses. What can you say about the days of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the second Moses? The same thing they did. Instead of coming to him and believing the word he gave to them, they came for carnal food and water.

[39]Why then should we, mere humans as we are, murmur and complain when punished for our sins? [40]Let us examine ourselves instead, and let us repent and turn again to the Lord. [41]Let us lift our hearts and hands to him in heaven, [42]for we have sinned; we have rebelled against the Lord, and he has not forgotten it.”

(Lamentations 3:39 – 42, LB)

DO NOT MURMUR AMONG YOURSELVES

John 6 verse 22 to the end. Another lengthy reading. Please bear with me. “22-23 The next morning, back across the lake, crowds began gathering on the shore waiting to see Jesus. For they knew that he and his disciples had come over together and that the disciples had gone off in their boat, leaving him behind. Several small boats from Tiberias were nearby,

  1. 24 so when the people saw that Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they got into the boats and went across to Capernaum to look for him.
  2. 25 When they arrived and found him, they said, “Sir, how did you get here?” 26 Jesus replied, “The truth of the matter is that you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you believe in me.
  3. 27 But you shouldn’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. No, spend your energy seeking the eternal life that I, the Messiah, can give you. For God the Father has sent me for this very purpose.
  4. This is another way through which Jesus the Christ told them to seek the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and that every other thing shall be added unto them.
  5. Rather, they went ahead looking for things that will perish. By so doing, they missed main target of Jesus coming in their day.
  6. 28 They replied, “What should we do to satisfy God?” 29 Jesus told them, “This is the will of God, that you believe in the one he has sent.”
  7. 30-31 They replied, “You must show us more miracles if you want us to believe you are the Messiah. Give us free bread every day, like our fathers had while they journeyed through the wilderness! As the Scriptures say, ‘Moses gave them bread from heaven.’”
  8. 32 Jesus said, “Moses didn’t give it to them. My Father did. And now he offers you true Bread from heaven. 33 The true Bread is a Person—the one sent by God from heaven, and he gives life to the world.”
  9. 34 “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day of our lives!” 35 Jesus replied, “I am the Bread of Life. No one coming to me will ever be hungry again. Those believing in me will never thirst.
  10. 36 But the trouble is, as I have told you before, you haven’t believed even though you have seen me. 37 But some will come to me—those the Father has given me—and I will never, never reject them.
  11. 38 For I have come here from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to have my own way. 39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them to eternal life at the Last Day.
  12. 40 For it is my Father’s will that everyone who sees his Son and believes on him should have eternal life—that I should raise him at the Last Day.”
  13. 41 Then the Jews began to murmur against him because he claimed to be the Bread from heaven.
  14. 42 “What?” they exclaimed. “Why, he is merely Jesus the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know. What is this he is saying, that he came down from heaven?”
  15. 43 But Jesus replied, “Don’t murmur among yourselves about my saying that. 44 For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him to me, and at the Last Day I will cause all such to rise again from the dead.
  16. 45 As it is written in the Scriptures, ‘They shall all be taught of God.’ Those the Father speaks to, who learn the truth from him, will be attracted to me. 46 (Not that anyone actually sees the Father, for only I have seen him.)
  17. 47 “How earnestly I tell you this—anyone who believes in me already has eternal life!
  18. 48-51 Yes, I am the Bread of Life! When your fathers in the wilderness ate bread from the skies, they all died. But the Bread from heaven gives eternal life to everyone who eats it. I am that Living Bread that came down out of heaven. Anyone eating this Bread shall live forever; this Bread is my flesh given to redeem humanity.
  19. 52 Then the Jews began arguing with each other about what he meant. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked. 53 So Jesus said it again, “With all the earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you eat the flesh of the Messiah and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.
  20. 54 But anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him at the Last Day. 55 For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink.
  21. 56 Everyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood is in me, and I in him. 57 I live by the power of the living Father who sent me, and in the same way those who partake of me shall live because of me!
  22. 58 I am the true Bread from heaven; and anyone who eats this Bread shall live forever, and not die as your fathers did—though they ate bread from heaven.”
  23. 59 (He preached this sermon in the synagogue in Capernaum.) 60 Even his disciples said, “This is very hard to understand. Who can tell what he means?”
  24. 61 Jesus knew within himself that his disciples were complaining and said to them, “Does thisoffend you? 62 Then what will you think if you see me, the Messiah, return to heaven again?
  25. 63 Only the Holy Spirit gives eternal life. Those born only once, with physical birth, will never receive this gift. But now I have told you how to get this true spiritual life.
  26. 64 But some of you don’t believe me.”(For Jesus knew from the beginning who didn’t believe and knew the one who would betray him.)
  27. 65 And he remarked, “That is what I meant when I said that no one can come to me unless the Father attracts him to me.” 66 At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him.
  28. 67 Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you going too?” 68 Simon Peter replied, “Master, to whom shall we go? You alone have the words that give eternal life,
  29. 69 and we believe them and know you are the holy Son of God.” 70 Then Jesus said, “I chose the twelve of you, and one is a devil.” 71 He was speaking of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, one of the Twelve, who would betray him.” LB.
  30. From what we have read from the book of psalms and John, we can notice one particular characteristic feature. The people were coming for what they will eat and drink, and not for eternal life.
  31. In the day of Moses, they were clamouring for food. In the day of Jesus, they were clamouring for food. What can we say in the day of the Son of Man? Is it not the same thing? That is why the Son of Man told us, “If your coming into our midst is not for eternal life, please, leave us.”
  32. Let us go to 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verse 1 through 6. Living Bible. “For we must never forget, dear brothers, what happened to our people in the wilderness long ago. God guided them by sending a cloud that moved along ahead of them; and he brought them all safely through the waters of the Red Sea.
  33. This might be called their “baptism”—baptized both in sea and cloud! — as followers of Moses—their commitment to him as their leader.
  34. 3-4 And by a miracle God sent them food to eat and water to drink there in the desert; they drank the water that Christ gave them. He was there with them as a mighty Rock of spiritual refreshment.
  35. Yet after all this most of them did not obey God, and he destroyed them in the wilderness. From this lesson we are warned that we must not desire evil things as they did.
  36. Hebrews chapter 4 verse 1 through 7. Living Bible.1Although God’s promise still stands—his promise that all may enter his place of rest—we ought to tremble with fear because some of you may be on the verge of failing to get there after all.
  37. For this wonderful news—the message that God wants to save us—has been given to us just as it was to those who lived in the time of Moses. But it didn’t do them any good because they didn’t believe it. They didn’t mix it with faith.
  38. For only we who believe God can enter into his place of rest. He has said, “I have sworn in my anger that those who don’t believe me will never get in,” even though he has been ready and waiting for them since the world began…”
  39. We have been warned to be careful, for some of us are on the verge of missing it. This is because, the same message we received was the same message that was given to our fathers, but it did them no good, for they did not mix it with faith.

12Thus, any day you come to the point when you hear His Voice and you harden your heart, you are lost. You joke with His Word, you are lost. You show signs of unbelief to His Word, you are lost, for He expects nothing from you except total obedience to the truth.

DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART

4We know he is ready and waiting because it is written that God rested on the seventh day of creation, having finished all that he had planned to make.

  1. Even so they didn’t get in, for God finally said, “They shall never enter my rest.” Yet the promise remains and some get in—but not those who had the first chance, for they disobeyed God and failed to enter.
  2. But he has set another time for coming in, and that time is now. He announced this through King David long years after man’s first failure to enter, saying in the words already quoted, “Today when you hear him calling, do not harden your hearts against him.
  3. Let us not forget the fact that this is not the first world God destroyed because they did not follow and obey him. For that reason, he destroyed them all. If we are warned and we do not take heed to the warning, will God spare us?
  4. Let us read something from the Legend of the Jews volume 1 chapter 1; the creation of the world, page 13 verse 4. “Nor is this world inhabited by man the first of things earthly created by God. He made several worlds before ours, but He destroyed them all, because He was pleased with none until He created ours.
  5. God destroyed the world he created before our own because he was not pleased with them. Now, let us read verse 3 of this same ancient book and see what God said there.
  6. The advice of the Torah was given with some reservations. She was skeptical about the value of an earthly world, on account of the sinfulness of men, who would be sure to disregard her precepts.
  7. But God dispelled her doubts. He told her, that repentance had been created long before, and sinners would have the opportunity of mending their ways. Besides, the Temple service would be invested with atoning power, and Paradise and hell were intended to do duty as reward and punishment.
  8. Finally, the Messiah was appointed to bring salvation, which would put an end to all sinfulness.” Finally, the Messiah was appointed to bring salvation that will put an end to all sinfulness of men. And the messiah has come to save us from this sinful world we are in. If we refuse to listen to him, look at it, paradise and hell were intended to do duty as reward and punishment.
  9. So, we cannot afford to miss it this time around for the Messiah, the Son of Man is in our midst. That is why he said, “Look up to me O ye inhabitant of the earth for your salvation.” Amen.
  10. We thank God for what he is doing among us. Let’s go ahead a little. Recently, we received a message titled “Find out why God is using you.” Why is God using you? Why is God using me? Is it as his object of praise or object of his anger?
  11. This is because if God is not using you as object of his praise, he is using you as object of his anger. So, you must find out where you are fitting in, for that will tell you who are to God.
  12. God told us in that message that how you will know is “If God is happy staying with you, whenever he sees you, he opens his arms to embrace you, know that you are in a right standing with him. But whenever he sees you and he becomes angry at you, even if he uses you on an errand, immediately you finish, he will ask you to go for he is not happy seeing you around him. That is how you will know.”
  13. Even as a minister, God can use you to do many things and at the end of the day, he will cast you away simply because your life is not according to what you are preaching.
  14. Let us look into this message: FIND OUT THE PURPOSE YOU ARE FULFILLING IN THIS MINISTRY Volume 1 Preached on 3rd November, 2013 at the Household of God Onitsha by Apostle Peter Odoemena, The Son of Man, “The Supreme Intelligence”. Page 55 verse 1.
  15. Any moment from now, I will embark on roll calling. If you hear your name you answer Me present. If at the end of the day your name is not mentioned, you keep quiet and wait for your turn for by and by your name must be mentioned either for good or for evil.”
  16. O man! O woman! O youth! O child! Where are you? If God should call you today as he has been calling, where do you think you will appear? Will it be for good or for evil? What do you think will be your position in him? I want us to take a critical look at ourselves once again in the bid to reevaluating ourselves in the light of the message we have received from God.
  17. Whatever you are doing now, whatever might be your manifestations, will determine where you will appear at the end. For your preparation will help you to end it in paradise or in hell. That is why God told us that majority are preparing themselves for hell while only few are preparing themselves for paradise.
  18. What kind of preparation are you making for yourself and your family? Even as an individual, what king of preparation are you making? For whatever preparation you are making will show you the purpose you will be fulfilling in this ministry.
  19. The same message, page 92 verse 4 through 13. “When you are sure you are standing on your ‘sanctified estate,’ the time the clock will stop means nothing to you. Nevertheless, if you are not standing there, your life is in danger because God can stop it anytime. Nobody tells the referee when to stop the match; the referee has the power to stop the match.
  20. Therefore, if you are fixing your eyes on the clock, the referee may stop the match ‘before’ that time. He may stop the match ‘after’ that time.”
  21. When a man of God is in the pulpit, he is a prophet. Even if he leaves the scene, God will not because of him cancel the message. The message has gone forth.
  22. I want you to see the extent a man of God prophesied his doom so that you that are here whether minister of not minister, you should be very careful, lest tomorrow, we will be saying “once upon a time, there was…” You can be present today and tomorrow, all references to you would be past. It would be “Once upon a time, there was a brother, there was a sister.”
  23. Page 24 verse 7,The greatest enemy of the Devil now is me…”
  24. Have you heard it? Who preached the message titled “The Headstone”? Pastor Okechukwu Nwankpa. He said that all that were happening around him, that God had no hand in it. That he had only but the devil as his greatest enemy, warring with him; from the very official beginning. 1994!
  25. Because, he found it difficult to believe what God was doing. Yet, he was the one God used to prophesy: “It is My power among My people. I have come, I have come, tell My servant who is in charge of this sanctuary to go and purge himself for seven days for it is My power among My people.”
  26. He excommunicated himself, came back and encouraged people, yet the devil was still warring. If you are not a seed of God from the beginning, you can never be a seed of God at the end. God can use a man after which, He will break him into pieces.
  27. I have told you times without number that God reserves the right to use a man anyhow He wants. He made some of honour, some of dishonour. THUS, find out the purpose you are fulfilling in this ministry lest, God after using YOU to help others, He will break you into pieces.
  28. For the scripture made it clear in the days of Jesus Christ that some will strive to help people into the Kingdom but they themselves will not enter. While some are standing at the gate, they will not enter; they will not allow others to enter. But he said, “Strive that you may enter.
  29. EVALUATE YOURSELF Part 1 Volume 1 preached on Sunday 29th March, 2020 at the Bridal Lodge, Nsugbe, Anambra State, Nigeria by Apostle Chukwudi Odoemena and Moderated By THE SON OF MAN, Apostle Peter Odoemena, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE BEING. Page 29 verse 45 through 49. “O.M: Remember what God said, “Whatever thing that will be your fate must be revealed to you before the end of the age. Before you get there, whatever you will meet there will be revealed to you in one way or the other.”
  30. O.M: You must find out the purpose why God included you in this Ministry. God has prophesied about a lot of things, even in the Bride. He will see human beings He will use to fulfill those prophecies.
  31. O.M: Why did God call you? Is it to fulfill the negative side or to fulfill the positive side. You will find out. It is not what God will tell you.
  32. O.M: We have a Message that says that everything that is happening to you had been written down a long time ago. Find out what had been written concerning you. Find out, so that you will know whether you are wasting your time or not.
  33. People that love milling around THE SON OF MAN, why do you like milling around Him? You must find out the reason.”
  34. You see! We must find out what we are fulfilling in the faith. Everybody must know where he belongs to. You must know your lineage. I must know my lineage. What will tell somebody the lineage he came from depend on his or her manifestations. Those things that you love doing. If you have not done that thing, you will never have rest.
  35. If you are ordained to obey God, until you do that, you will never have rest. If your nature is to disobey God, until you do that, you will never have rest. That alone will tell you why God brought you into this faith.
  36. For God said that He will never use a child of God to fulfill dangerous prophesy. He said that if he looks into our midst and sees that there is no one to fulfill a dangerous prophesy, he will go out and bring somebody in. After fulfilling the reason he brought that person, he will push the person out.
  37. Let us look into the message, “Holding unto the Certainty of the Faith: For thereunto I am born Volume 1” preached on Sunday 9th April, 2017 at the Household of God Onitsha by Apostle Peter Odoemena, THE SON OF MAN, “The Sanctifier” Page 29 verse 9 through 23. “Thus, if you are ordained to salvation, you are ordained to believe the Truth, For there unto you are born.
  38. Jesus was asked a question, “Are you a King?” He said, “Sure, it has come out of your mouth. For thereunto I was born to be a King.”
  39. Whatever you are, whatever you are manifesting must be what you are born thereunto. And until you fulfil it, you will never have rest.
  40. If you are ordained to be a criminal, until you fulfil all the criminal tendencies in your life, you will never have rest. If you are born to fulfill God’s will, you will rest at nothing, you will always be having that sense of non-fulfilment Until you are sure and certain that you have done the will of the father that sent you.
  41. For thereunto you are born and you cannot do otherwise. Compelling you to do otherwise means helping you to kill yourself.
  42. You know the difference between an eagle and other birds. You can cage other birds but you can never cage an eagle. If you cage an eagle, it will keep on hitting its head on the cage until it dies.
  43. Find out whether you are where you ought to be. Whether you are where you are meant to be, Because if you are not meant to serve God, from creation, you are not ordained to serve God And you be will be forcing yourself into God, You will be doing your conscience more harm than good.
  44. And there is no way you can adjust favourably. Whatever you will be doing is ordinary human manipulations so that people will not be talking about you always.
  45. You will be manipulating; you will be fabricating. Everything about your life will be counterfeiting. There is no original life. Original life is inborn.
  46. And that is why if you see somebody who is naturally ordained by God for a good cause and for ONE reason or the other, he begins to misbehave, it does not last long. It is because he is unguided.
  47. The moment he receives the truth, for thereunto he is born, no human being can cage him again. There is nothing you can promise that person that will make him to remain there. He must jump out for he has heard the voice of his father which he can never resist.
  48. If you are not ordained to be in this Bridal Faith, the last move God is making on earth, there is no way you can feel comfortable with all you are going to hear in this faith. For our teachings, our lifestyle will always be provoking you to anger. You will be feEling highly disturbed.
  49. A sure sign that you are disturbed, you will be avoiding brethren, avoiding fellowship, avoiding contact with anything doctrine of Christ, message of Son of Man, you would not like to hear them.
  50. They will be making you to feel very much uneasy. Why? It is not a part of you. You are trying to fabricate, to manipulate yourself into it. No! Nobody can add himself into Christ, but you are born into Christ. If you are not born in My family, you are not My biological child.
  51. No matter how you try to manipulate it, you cannot fit in. You can never fit in. No matter how long you have stayed, you can stay in this faith, get married, have children; you are still a stranger to My household. Is it not true?
  52. If you were not in God before the world began, you cannot be added to God along the way. You can be added to a group. You cannot be added to God. For all that were in Christ were in Him before the world began. So, they were born into Christ not into the Church.”
  53. From all we have heard, O man, where are you? O woman, where are you? What are your manifestations? What is your character? Whatever you are manifesting, is it in accordance with the will of God? We must answer these questions as individuals if we do not want to miss the target this time around.
  54. O man, where are you? Preached by Brother Joseph Michael Favour of Lagos Household of God on 19/1/2021 Approved and Authorized by Apostle Peter Odoemena, the Son of Man, the Righteous Judge. Page 26 verse 29 through 39. “Follow me to the message titled: I HAVE SEEN MY FAULT TODAY chapter 9 verse 32 through 36, Preached on 1st November, 2020.
  55. WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE AM I? A BIG QUESTION. YOU MUST BE SOMEWHERE. I MUST BE SOMEWHERE. WHEREVER THE SPIRIT OF A MAN IS, THERE HE IS. WHEREVER THE SPIRIT OF A WOMAN IS, THERE SHE IS. WHEREVER THE SPIRIT OF A HUMAN BEING IS, THERE THE PERSON IS. WHERE ARE YOU? AND WHY ARE YOU THERE.
  56. They heard the Voice of the Master. They ran away and hid themselves. He asked, “Man, where are you and why are you there? Have you been there all this while? Where are you? What put you there? You want to cover up? That thing you are using as a cover up; does it cover you?”
  57. That thing you formed with your hands, knit it together and it is good for you in your eyes, did it give you a covering? Was it enough to put you in right standing with Me?
  58. That covering; that excuse, “The devil did this thing”, is it enough to restore you in Fellowship with Me?
  59. That Same message vs 39 through 43 I am coming to something. It is not What I am preaching. Man, where are you? Woman, where are you?
  60. I am going to give it a topic because I Now want to take off. Man, where are you? Woman, where are you? Are you in Christ or are you in the devil? If I should look for You, where will I find you?
  61. Will I find you in Christ or in the Devil? Where is your heart? Where is your Mind? The spirit that is in you, where is it? Where is it resting even right now? Where is your spirit even right now?
  62. While you are hearing Me, you may be hearing with your ears when your spirit is far. They were hearing from Moses, but their spirits were in Egypt.
  63. Where is your mind? Where is your spirit? Is it in Christ or in the world? Is it in your school while I am talking? Is it in your proposed trip while I am talking? Is it in your business?
  64. Is it in your plans which you have already outlined for yourself of which you do not know whether you will live, stay alive and enjoy them or not?”

With this type of illustration, we can go to bed this night to re-examine ourselves again in other to copy Him as our example in everything. For He became a human being like you so that you have no excuse again to give. Because if you cannot copy what you can see with your eyes, can you copy imaginary? All along you have been imagining what God will look like, whether He will eat or drink or do whatever human beings are doing or marry, have children.

RE-EXAMINE YOUR TICKET AGAIN PREACHED

RE-EXAMINE YOURSELF IN LINE WITH GOD’S WORD

The same message, page 35 verse 8 through 49. “Let’s consider something in the message titled God’s nature is your assurance of eternal life preached on 27th December, 2016 & 30th December, 2016 respectively at the son of man’s family altar, Nsugbe by Apostle peter Odoemena the son of man Chapter 3 verses 1 through 52 EXAMINE YOURSELF IN LIGHT OF THE FAITH OF CHRIST.

  1. God warned even scripturally, 2nd Corinthians 13, that we should from time to time re-examine our lives, re-examine our faith and know, find out whether we are progressively holding on to the faith which we are professing.
  2. We should scrutinize; evaluate; it says, don’t we know by continuing experiences whether we are in him or not, whether the spirit of Christ is in us or the spirit has left us and we do not know.
  3. For the message said on Sunday we are in a delicate ministry where we can backslide without knowing; where the spirit of God can vacate, the foolishness and ignorance in us will not permit us to notice the exit of the spirit of Christ in our lives.
  4. Unimaginable things contrary to sound doctrine, contrary to the truth will be manifesting, using us as tools. The worst thing that will happen to a man is to yield to a destructive spirit where the Devil will be using him as tool. Be very careful.
  5. That’s why any spirit you submit yourself to is the spirit that will govern your life. If it is the spirit of Christ, Christ will govern you and people will see the reflection of Christ in your daily character. Everywhere you go you will obtain favour from men, you will obtain favour from God.
  6. For the Lord Jesus Christ who was the initiator of whatever we are holding here today went about doing good and obtained favour from God and from humanity. So be very very careful everybody.
  7. He went further to warn, that if we are not careful, if we are not conscious of ourselves, of our surroundings, of the people we are having dealings with, in agreement with our faith; use your faith; use your belief to scrutinize everything.
  8. If we are not conscious, we might be shocked in the end to see heathens, people coming from the East, West, North, South to occupy the kingdom of heaven with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We that are meant to be there, children of the kingdom shall be locked out. Is it scriptural? Is it in the scripture?
  9. The Lord was warning his Apostles, his disciples in the upper room. Where lies that belief, that because I have become his disciple; I have become an Apostle, I am now following Christ; for that reason, I can behave anyhow. I am not a material for eternal destruction. Who told you?
  10. The Bible made it clear that God saved his people from the land of Egypt; brought them out; took them across the red sea, he led them across the red sea; He fed them with manna from heaven; protected them in the night; healed them of the serpent bites; did all forms of miracles; scared their enemies away as they progressed, they lacked nothing good in the night and in the day; the Lord stood there as their Defense; as their Provider; as their Healer; as everything but at the end of it all, He destroyed all that believed not.
  11. For God said, with many of them He was not pleased; their characters were very noxious in the sight of God. God could not stand their wicked behaviours because it is still an act of wickedness to pay back evil for good.
  12. In spite of all that God did for them, He expected them to praise Him the more, to walk right, to walk with Him, but He saw another thing all together. He numbered them without their knowledge.
  13. The Bible said He brought them out from the land of Egypt across the Red Sea, did everything to make them feel comfortable but at the end He destroyed all that believed Him not yet, they were Jews.
  14. He saved them from destruction in Egypt; he saved them from destruction in the Red Sea; saved them from destruction by their enemies but He never allowed them to enter Canaan. They could not enjoy paradise and the Bible said He destroyed all.
  15. What is more, the Bible said it is written in the Bible for our learning; preserved there in the scriptures for our admonition that we should not pattern after evil, that we should learn our lessons from what befell them.
  16. For we were not the first people that served this God and he has not changed even, his method of doing things and he will never change because of me.
  17. Thus, whatever you are believing be very careful, you are believing the truth that proceeds out of the mouth of God not your own interpreted truth, not the truth you coined out after your evil interpretation, truth you coined out that will give you liberty to do whatever you want whether they be good or evil in the sight of God, you don’t care.
  18. You are bound to lose your ticket straight away if you had at all obtained a ticket. It can be canceled. Another name can be used to replace you even without your knowledge. So, be very very careful everybody.
  19. He went further to give them another illustration. In the Upper Room He said, “Look at what the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven is likened to be.”
  20. He gave them the parable of the ten virgins. The virgins, were they virgins? Yes! Undefiled! Were they elect according to God’s fore-knowledge? Yes! Did they defile themselves with any denomination? No! Were they accused of sin? No! They were perfect. They were all perfect. They were all righteous but there was something wrong.
  21. The Master gave them instruction to stay at the gate there, be there, keep on remaining there until the Bridegroom will come and take you in. Everybody said Amen.
  22. Wise ones filled their lanterns with oil and carried also extra oil in case the Bridegroom would delay his coming, to make sure their graves will not begin to make noise before the bridegroom would appear. They have enough fuel.
  23. If you have enough fuel in your tank that can go to Lagos and come back whether there is fuel scarcity or not, it doesn’t concern you. Your vehicle will be moving because you are carrying enough and even carrying reserve. That was what they did.
  24. When we were told to take the food, eat the word as food for the journey is still too far so that we can get the strength that will carry us and the strength of every child of God is the level of the word of God that is settled in his heart that is, the level of revelation you will have. So take note of what I am saying.
  25. He said these are the ten virgins. Look at what the kingdom of heaven is likened to. When they were asked to stay, their lanterns were all burning, everybody was jubilating; as the bridegroom tarried beyond their expectation some of them who didn’t come with extra oil, their lanterns began to go off.
  26. In order to keep the lanterns burning before the bridegroom would appear, they went out to get oil. Were they perfect? Yes! Were they elected? Yes! Were they chosen? Yes! Were they righteous? Yes! Any defilement? No! Were they billed to be in the kingdom of heaven? Yes! They went away to buy the oil.
  27. Immediately they left, the bridegroom appeared; behold the bridegroom cometh! Those that had their lanterns with oil they trimmed their lanterns and the Master had no choice but to usher in those he met with their lanterns burning. They entered peacefully.
  28. Immediately they entered and the Master entered, what happened? The people that went to get extra oil arrived and the door had already been closed.
  29. The Master gave further interpretation that they knocked and knocked and said Master open. They introduced themselves that they were not foreigners they began to mention their names one after the other. The Master said no, I know you not.
  30. The scripture said the door remained closed against them. Who do we blame in this situation? The Master or the foolish ones? What made them foolish? They didn’t walk with the light that was given to them; they could not keep pace with the message.
  31. If they had kept pace with the message, there would have been a uniform approach to that instruction. They would have collectively obeyed.
  32. Then where lies the claim that once saved always saved; because you are chosen you are elected, you are billed to be in paradise, whether you like it or not you will be there, whether you obey or not you will be there. Who preached that one? Tell me who preached that one? Who has ever preached it? Is it our message.
  33. That is why whenever a message goes forth your duty is to pause and wait for the interpretation thereof. The Master said,” So shall the kingdom of heaven be – future continuous tense. So shall the kingdom of heaven be.
  34. Some elect will go in because they are wise, they are keeping pace with the message while some will be locked out. The Bible said further they were given their places among the heathens, the unbelievers.
  35. That act of drawing back because they wanted to go and then get the message so that they can be up to date burning became their destruction, their doom.
  36. Can you imagine somebody who has labored to the extent of coming to the gate of paradise but could not stay faithfully there until the Master will open the gate for them; immediately the person went away, it is a spiritual affair, immediately your spirit draws back the Lord will no longer be pleased with you, for every character is a manifestation of what the spirit is all about. Is it not true?
  37. Whatever is your character tells the whole world the spirit that is controlling you for behind every character there is a spirit. That is why you have to, as an individual, do what the scripture said, it says scrutinize, investigate, examine, evaluate do not say, “God examine me”. That’s what the Bible said, do not say “God examine me” it says, “examine yourself.”
  38. Don’t you know by your ever progressing experience whether the spirit of Christ is in you or not? Or else you will be a reprobate a counterfeit who must be disapproved disallowed disqualified in the end.
  39. So many will perish not because of what they have done but because of what they have refused to do.
  40. Nothing is as destructive as private interpretation of the word of God. For the word of God according to the scriptures is of no private interpretation. God is the perfect interpreter of his word.
  41. Anybody that has that notion, that conclusion in his or her mind, that as elect, he could behave anyhow and get saved in the end can never honour and fear the Lord. The word of God can never be of any effect in the person’s life. For the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom but fools despise wise counsel.
  42. From all that we have read so far, it is self-explanatory. What then can we say? Shall we then allow ourselves to miss this great opportunity God has offered to us? Can we now see that we cannot afford to miss the target just as our fathers did?
  43. Let us read from the message: NO REASONABLE EXCUSE FOR MAKING SHIPWRECK IN YOUR CALLING IN CHRIST preached on 7th July 2021. Compiled by Pastor Peter Daniel Atah, household of God Umuahia Abia State, Nigeria. Approved and Authorized by Apostle Peter Odoemena, the Son of Man. Page 21 verse 8 only.
  44. We must not miss the target this time because TIME IS NO MORE! YES SIR.”
  45. We must not miss the target this time around just as our predecessors did by not recognizing the day of their own visitation and their own message. Remember, they have a second chance, but we do not have any. This is the more reason why we must look into our life now that God is still giving us a chance of escape. Escape for our dear life.
  46. CHRIST IS THE IDENTITY OF EVERY ELECT preached on Sunday 8th, February, 2015. At the household of God Onitsha by Apostle Peter Odoemena, the Son of Man, the Supreme Intelligence. Page 92 verse 24 and 25.
  47. What am I trying to achieve in you? I want to arouse the consciousness of the hour in everybody before I will begin to give you your timetable so that you will know where we are now.
  48. You will now begin to see how close you are into paradise and then begin to check yourself to know whether you are in line with this truth that will qualify you for entry into paradise or your journey will stop midway. Yes! Too many will stop at the gate and they will never enter.
  49. Too many will stop their journey at the gate and they will never enter. And the theme of our calendar for this year is “The Gate of Paradise is open, CHECK IN NOW!” Can we now see that we cannot afford to miss the last minute opportunity God has offered us? But if we do not do what we are supposed to do, definitely, many will miss it.
  50. The same message page 97 verse 42 through 43. “Let no minister ever pamper anybody with this truth. Do not ever flatter anybody with this truth. Speak the truth in love and stand there!
  51. Do not give them the impression that they are getting saved anyhow when they are swimming in unbelief. Even if it is your wife [or husband] which is your most precious ornament, tell her, [tell him] the truth in love. But first and foremost tell yourself this truth.
  52. We can see what God is saying. Let nobody pamper anybody with this truth and tell everybody the truth in love no matter who that person might be. But first of all, tell yourself this truth so that you will not just be one that will like to tell the people the truth and you will not tell yourself.
  53. How can a log of wood be in your eyes and you are making attempt to remove a speck of stick in the eyes of another? First of all, remove the log of wood in your eye. Then, you can now see clearly and help another person to remove his own.
  54. Finally, let us go to the message titled Hear my voice oh heaven, hear my voice oh earth Volume 1; Preached on Sunday 16th June, 2019 at The Household of God, Onitsha by Apostle Peter Odoemena, the Son of Man, the Ancient of Days, the Hidden Revealer Page 23 verse 30 through 39.
  55. If there be a woman, a Church, a family, kingdom having a man who is holding the word, bearing the sign, one who is holding the voice, one who is here, although we are seeing Him as a man,..”
  56. ONE who is here! Here! Here! Not one that is coming again. He is here, although we are seeing Him as a man. He is being wrapped around with something which eyes cannot see. A man that is laminated.
  57. Any moment we succeed in getting a family, a Church, a group of people having this man, who cannot be found in sin…”
  58. So He is born to righteousness. Iniquity is not found in Him. He does not work for righteousness. In Him, righteousness is revealed. He is the revealed righteousness of God from Faith to Faith. Look at the prophecy.
  59. Any moment we succeed in getting a family, a Church, a group of people having this man, who cannot be found in sin, who cannot play with His words, who is vindicated with this Shekinah Cloud around Him, who is not taking us back to the old genealogy, but opening our eyes to something we can call new doctrines, One we can still look back on the scene, all we have to do is to say glory be to God, for our problem is solved.
  60. SONG: [Glory be to God in the highest Amen. Glory be to God in the highest Amen. For His mercy endureth forever, Amen. For His mercy endureth forever, Amen]
  61. Pay attention! Look at the prophecy. Whenever this MAN appears in any group, body of people, family, congregation or whatever you may call it, nation or Kingdom.
  62. If anybody is perishing, it is because he does not want to hear Him. For God performed this Supernatural around Him to enable you believe that He proceeded from God. In other words, Hear ye Him.
  63. If anybody is perishing after seeing all these things, receiving this wonderful privilege of His visitation, the person is committing suicide.
  64. He is deliberately going to hell, for he has made up his mind that he will not pay heed to His Word. “And his hard-heartedness”, according to the Prophets “Will lead him to everlasting punishment in hell.
  65. To God be the glory. All has been heard. It is now in our hands to act accordingly if we do not want to miss the opportunity given us at this dying minute. Remember that Lot’s wife lost it at the last minute when the angels drag them out of the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. The same way God is trying to drag many out, but they are not will to go.
  66. May the name of the Lord be praised forever. The title of this little compilation is “We must not miss the target this time for time is no more.”
  67. Thank you Lord for the wonderful opportunity and spiritual strength given to us. No man can do this without your help. Thank you Lord.
  68. Thank you and remain blessed all the saints of God worldwide. May the good Lord Apostle Peter Odoemena [blessed be His Most Holy Name] continue to uphold us all till when he will say it is all over. Amen.
