HE THAT STANDS IN THE STEAD OF GOD REPRESENTS GOD
Remain blessed brethren. If you are happy praise God with a clap offering. It is a very big privilege to stand before you this afternoon once again. It has been a long time I fellowshipped here in the household of God at Enugu. I do not think I have ever fellowshipped on a Sunday in Enugu Household.
2. We were billed to fellowship in Jerusalem but the Lord directed that we fellowship in Enugu, this is a missionary assignment. So if you did not take the word you received this morning just know you did not take the word of the Son of Man.
3. God said that he that stands in the stead of God is representing God. I do not believe that if the Governor sends the Local Government Chairman to represent him that the Local Government Chairman does not come to give him a report.
4. I do not believe that he will not come back to give the Governor the report, am I right or wrong brethren? For every person God sends to you, the person must give God an account of what happened in the place God sent him to.
5. So this morning, starting from our praises down to the way we attended fellowship, I can tell that we, the members of Enugu Household are not doing very well.
6. Your attitude to fellowship, this place is the house of God. God said the moment you step into this place, what you should do is to offer yourself to God in prayer but we came in here, this place was a market place.
7. The elders am I lying? I said this place was a market place. Nothing depicted that this place is a place of worship. Let us use the Pentecostal Church as an example, if you are passing there and the fellowship has not yet started, you can never hear a sound from that Church. What you will hear is songs, if the choir is there they have already started singing, making you to feel very comfortable, giving you the feeling that you are there to worship God.
8. But in our own case, where we worship the Supreme God, that picture that was taken nobody was in fellowship before this man. I believe He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And the same time He is in Jerusalem, the same time He is here in Enugu and He was standing here and He saw the way you attended fellowship.
9. The people that came late, they still entered and started creating scene. God said if you know you are late, right from the gate you start running, entering the fellowship, you pick a seat. But on entering the fellowship, they decided to create another scene for everybody to know that you came late to fellowship.
10. That was never a good attitude at all. For every minister that God ordains, God places His message into that minister, the Apostle has gone the way he is led and the way God has put the message in him. So me, on my part, I am going to go the way God has ordained me to go.
11. So it is the duty of the pastor to know how the flock is faring. I am going to take from the last place we read in the epistle. Epistle 21, chapter 1 from verse 7.
12. God said we should be very careful that we do not come to a point where that rebellious instinct in you will come up, up to the point of finding fault with the vessel God is using in your day. And if you check the messages that have been going on since Sunday, the way God has been tracing, people are now finding fault with God.
13. Finding fault with the offering, finding fault with many things that God is doing. There are many things that people are saying, in your various families God has heard all of them.
14. And the most important thing I want all of us to understand is this, whatever we are doing in this day never started with us, there are many people that worshipped this God in various ways and in various ages but in our own day, He said that we have killed the Apostles, killed the prophets, now He Himself has come down.
15. Note, He did not say what? His messenger. So, all of you that have been seeing God from the point that He is a messenger of God, that is where you are missing it and that is where your problems are coming from.
16. Because if you actually believe this, whatever you are doing, whatever sacrifice you are offering, you are offering it to God and God Himself. Amen.
17. So this afternoon I might not stay long on this pulpit but I just want to give us some detailed account to show us that whatever we are doing today, whatever thing we claim we are doing for God today, never started with us.
18. Give me 1st Chronicles 29. Joseph read Living Bible, I want to use only Living Bible and Good News. It is a long passage; I am going to take from verse 1 down to the end. Living Bible and Good News, if you are with Good News hold it handy. Living Bible first.
19. Then King David turned to the entire assembly and said… Brethren let us pay attention to this passage. Then King David turned to the entire assembly and said: “My son Solomon, whom God has chosen to be the next king of Israel, is still young and inexperienced, and the work ahead of him is enormous;
20. And the work ahead of him is what? Enormous. If we can go back to 1St chronicles from chapter 15, God told David through Samuel that “you will not be the one to build the temple for Me, that it will be what? Your son, Solomon.”
21. There was no place in the Bible where God said the Israelites will do this, will bring this, bring that. What Samuel said was that the construction of the house of God was in the hands of Solomon.
22. Let us now hear what God said, that this task he is going to do is an enormous task. To show you that no successful man of God ever works alone. Let us note this, that the work of God is what? An enormous task.
23. My son Solomon, whom God has chosen to be the next king of Israel, is still young and inexperienced, and the work ahead of him is enormous; for the temple he will build is not just another building—it is for the Lord God himself!
24. The temple he will build is not just another temple but for what? The Lord Himself. 2 Using every resource at my command, Using what? Every resource at my command. I have gathered as much as I could for building it
25. Yes? This is David speaking, this is what David as a man with his family, what he has gathered towards the building of this temple.
26. The resources he has gathered, so when you hear God saying “let us do this, let us contribute this, let us do this,” some people will begin to murmur “we are contributing this, we are contributing that, after they will carry it and give to the Son of Man.” Not knowing that it is for our own good.
27. If you were here on the first Sunday of this year, God said “as many of you as …” You know, that was the day God shared The Compendium and The Great Sermon. He said, “count yourself to be blessed to be among those that God will use to carry this gospel of salvation round the whole world.”
28. Many people are longing, many rich men are longing to know this truth but God found you and I worthy, and we are the ones contributing, making sure that these messages do not only end here in Nigeria, or here in Enugu but round the whole world.
IT IS A PRIVILEGE WHEN GOD ACCEPTS YOUR OFFERING
29. That God chose you as a vessel, that God recognized and accepted your offering, you will see that for God to give you the opportunity to contribute, that God has already accepted you as an individual. Because the moment God refuses you or hates you or discards you, God must discard your offering.
30. So, anytime you see God saying let us contribute this, and your local assembly, your own is accepted, God said count yourself to be lucky, count yourself to be a blessed person. We are still going further.
31. 2 Using every resource at my command, I have gathered as much as I could for building it—enough gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, and great quantities of onyx, other precious stones, costly jewels, and marble. 3 And now, because of my devotion to the Temple of God,
32. And now, because of my devotion to the temple of God, is there any NIV in this fellowship? Is there any NIV? Give me Good News, Verse 3. Good News and Amplified.
33. Good News. Over and above all that I have provided, over and above everything that David has presented, I have given silver and gold from my personal property because of my love for God’s Temple. 4 I have given 115 tons of the finest gold and 265 tons of pure silver for decorating the walls of the Temple.
34. Amplified. 3 Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, Because I have done what? Set my affections on God, the version I wanted was NIV, it said “besides everything I have done, I have offered my devotion”.
35. So your money, your gift is nothing before God. The first thing God checks is your devotion, devoting yourself as an offering. Commit yourself, deliver yourself.
36. Every time you hear God saying that some people will dole out some money, thinking that your money will work for you, that you do not know that there are still individuals that do make use of that money to produce something.
37. If not you can place your money, let your money drive your car for you, let money go to market and buy things for you, is it possible? Living Bible.
38. 3 And now, because of my devotion to the Temple of God, I am giving all of my own private treasures to aid in the construction. I have given what? All of my own private treasures. Did he withhold anything? He has given all of his own private treasures.
39. I am giving all of my own private treasures to aid in the construction. This is in addition to the building materials I have already collected. 4-5 These personal contributions consist of 85 million dollars worth of gold
40. Brethren can you listen to this? His personal contribution as a family person, or as David Himself, towards the things of God.
41. 4-5 These personal contributions consist of 85 million dollars worth of gold, 85 million dollars’ worth of gold, from Ophir and 20 million dollars worth of purest silver to be used for overlaying the walls of the buildings.
42. It will also be used for the articles made of gold and silver and for the artistic decorations. Now then, who will follow my example?
43. Now then, who will do what? Follow my example. How many of us have heard God say this? Countless times. God is saying “whatever you think you are doing, that I do more”. You think you are contributing, that He is in the forefront.
44. That now he has given all these things, that he has done it out of his devotion to God, to show you that if you are not committed, if you are not devoted, you can never render an acceptable sacrifice to God.
You must live your life in conformity with the doctrines of Christ, which has come to you in your own day. In there is your salvation; in there is your peace; in there is your success; in there is your wisdom, your knowledge, your understanding, your prosperity, everything you are looking for But reject Him, reject the message, treat it with contempt, you are doing it to your own regret. For by and by you must regret it in the end. That’s why we encourage you to be serious with the message you have heard.

BE A PART OF WHAT
GOD IS DOING
It is not coming to fellowship, it is not transcribing the messages, it is not doing all these that matters, first of all ask yourself, are you in line with what God is doing in your day.
2. Because God said some people might still be in fellowship, some people might still be coming and yet, we heard it this morning, and yet they are not part of what God is doing. Because one thing is for you to follow God and another thing is for God to know that you are following Him.
3. If I should see you sleeping in this fellowship, I am going to disgrace you. Bro Kingsley, stand up. If you want to sleep, leave the fellowship.
4. Now then, who will follow my example? Who will give himself and all that he has to the Lord?” Who will do what? Give himself and all that he has to the Lord?
5. Did the Bible say, who will give everything he has first? Did the Bible say that? Who will give himself what? First. And every other thing that you have. I just want to point out something to you, that the willingness must be there to offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God.
6. You must offer yourself, dedicate yourself, as a minister you bring out yourself so that God can use you for good works. Because if you do not bring out yourself, if you do not offer yourself first, your gifts, your offerings, God can never recognize it.
7. 6-7 Then the clan leaders, the clan leaders, and now we have Households. We have pastors in charge of various households, like household of God at Nassarrawa, household of God at Enugu, can we see it never started today? Can we now see it never started with us?
8. So, for those that are murmuring, those that are grumbling that God is taking too much, God is doing this, can we see that it never started with us?
9. So after David had done his own, the clan leaders, the head of every family, of every household they did what? Let us listen to what they did.
10. 6-7 Then the clan leaders, the heads of the tribes, the army officers, and the administrative officers of the king pledged 145 million dollars in gold, Can we now see? They contributed their own towards the building of this temple.
11. But today, this temple is no longer made with hands, this temple is now a human being dwelling among us.
12. Acts chapter 7 verse 48. LB 48-49 However, God doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. However, God does not what? He does not live in temples made with human hands, yes? ‘The heaven is my throne,’ says the Lord through his prophets, ‘and earth is my footstool.
13. So, can you imagine what they were doing, offering, for the building of the Temple made with human hands. Because in their own age, the ark of covenant was being carried, it was not a human being.
14. The ark of covenant was carried into the temple of God, so the moment David entered, the glory must come down.
15. But today, all of this is already inside a human being. That is why you hear God say “no place is holy until I place my feet there.” You are not holy until God says you are holy.
16. So, how ready are we? How have we given ourselves over to this temple, over to this God in our own age?
17. Then the clan leaders, the heads of the tribes, the Army officers and the administrative officers of the king pledged 145 million dollars in gold; 50,000 dollars in foreign currency, also 675 tons of bronze and 3,750 tons of iron.
18. 8 They also contributed great amounts of jewelry, which were deposited at the Temple treasury with Jehiel (a descendant of Gershom). 9 Everyone was excited and happy for this opportunity of service,
BE A CHEERFUL GIVER
19. Hold on. Everyone was what? Excited and happy for this opportunity of service. Can you now see that for you to be in the position to contribute or to help in moving the gospel of God forward, that it is what? An opportunity.
20. It is not your right; God cannot just give it to you for nothing. Note that all of them came to the revelation because they were happy and excited, they said “God thank you for giving me this opportunity to show you how I love you in my heart.
21. Although I do not see you everyday, although I cannot see you physically but thank you for giving me this privilege so as to express to you how happy I am, to have you in person as my God.”
22. Brethren are we really understanding this message at all? Everyone was excited and happy for this opportunity of service and King David was moved with deep joy. And what? King David was moved with deep joy, for there is no way you can do those things without God being very happy.
23. Note, it said, King David was moved with deep joy and this was the same message we heard last Sunday. God was still emphasizing that this same throne, this same lineage has been running till today.
24. That He is the King in His own Kingdom, that His throne is that one of King David’s family, that same family where Jesus came out from, this is the same God we are still having dealings with today. If you lose sight of this, many of us might make shipwreck of our ministry.
25. 10 While still in the presence of the whole assembly, David expressed his praises to the Lord: “O Lord God of our father Israel, I praise your name forever and ever! 11 Yours is the mighty power and glory and victory and majesty. Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom.
26. And this is what? Your kingdom, and this is what? Your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. 12 Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might, and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength. 13 O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name, 14 but who am I and who are my people that we should be permitted to give anything to you?
27. Brethren can we now see? See what David said, “who am I and who are my people that we should be permitted to give anything to you?” I just want our eyes of revelation to begin to open from now.
28. So David recognized that even the opportunity of even, him (David) the father of Solomon, to bring his resources towards the building of the Temple, that he knows he was not the best person
29. That within him he recognized that “God I am not worthy to present a gift to you. God I am not worthy to stand before you even to open my mouth to say thank you. But who am I and who are these people that you have permitted us?” To say, “Enugu Household contribute this towards the work of God.” To say, “Nassarrawa household, do this.”
30. He said it last Sunday that some people, God rejected their contribution and still sent it back to them. Are we the most obedient? Are we the best worshippers of God? Can we now begin to see deeper from now? Read that same place again.
31. 13 O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name, 14 but who am I and who are my people that we should be permitted to give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you,
32. Everything that we have has done what? Come from you. Can somebody dash you a book, pastor, dash you a book and then say “please tear a sheet for me from the book I gave you,” and you say no, that you will not do it?
33. This is what we are doing, everything that we are giving to God is what God gave to us and He now said “give Me a part of it”. Give me what? A part of it. And we are still grumbling, we are still angry.
34. If it is not happening, God will not be saying it. God is saying we preach not because we are fighting individuals but because we are fighting spirits. That spirits do not die but live to anoint individuals, because you do not see it. So nothing is as infectious as a very bad spirit. Nobody will emulate a good thing but a bad thing spreads faster than a good thing.
35. That is why a lie has always remained the most popular thing in this world, any popular thing is always a lie. But the truth… that is why we are very few worshipping this God because we are very few that believe that God is a human being.
36. And you can see God, you can interact with God, you can do everything with God. But out there in the world, that is why they are rushing into hell because they do not believe this truth.
By generosity, your doors are open to hospitality, and by being hospitable, you receive even angels unaware. Nobody has ever been made poor because he is generous. But too many people have become wretched, poor, and miserable because they are stingy. Give to hospitality, give to generosity, be liberally minded, support the things of God and He will support your own things. When you farm in God’s own farmland, He will farm in your own. If you are watchful over God’s own heritage, He will be watchful over your own heritage

EVERYTHING WE HAVE
CAME FROM GOD
Everything we have has come from you, and we only give you what is yours already! And we only do what? Give you what is yours already. Can you see the revelation these people had? David did not preach it to them, this was the revelation they had that made them to give abundantly. 15 for we are here for but a moment, we are here but for what? MOMENT.
2. Strangers in the land as our fathers were before us; our days on earth are like a shadow, gone so soon, without a trace. 16 O Lord our God, all of this material that we have gathered to build a temple for your holy name comes from you! Does what? Comes from you. That’s verse what? Verse 15, give me verse 14 in NIV.
3. 14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? That we should be able to do what? Give as generously as this. Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
4. And we have only done what? Given you what comes from your hand. 15 We are aliens and strangers in your sight, we are what? Aliens.
5. Brethren, do we not have the message that said we are aliens and temporary residents, that there is nothing you have in this world that guarantees any kind of permanence, that whatever you think you have now, be it your house, your car, your building, can never last forever.
6. God was speaking to elders one morning, I was with Him, He said “any day you hear that I am going to paradise, Pastor Thomas take all My house, will you take?” He said “God forbid.”
7. I am busy that I am going to heaven and God will now say “you, take charge of this physical house and My cars and everything,” will you now take? No, if you say that this is what you want and He says “I am leaving, I have now made you in charge of all these things, take care of it. This is your own, take it and I am going,” will you now take?
8. To show you that whatever you think you have in this life, it only lasts for a while. It might seem very tiring, it might seem very stressful, hard. God said “keep on believing, keep on following Me, that this road, that it is the same with all Christians, all believers worldwide.”Do not think you are the one living in the worst condition.
GOD TESTS MEN TO SEE IF
THEY ARE GOOD
9. 15 We are aliens and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.
10. 16 Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you.
11. 17 I know, my God, that you test men to see if they are good; I know my God that you do what? Test men to see if they are good. God is the only one that tests the heart of everybody, it is not by singing, beating the pulpit or preaching. God knows what is happening in your heart. Even as this message is going on, God knows what is happening in your heart.
12. God knows whether it is generating anger, “he has come to say, he has come to do this and that.” I cannot tell, I am only sent to say this, to preach this but whatever that is happening in your heart I do not know.
13. And I cannot use because of what is happening in your heart refuse to or shun to say what God said I should say. It is not possible.
14. 17 I know, my God, that you test men to see if they are good; for you enjoy good men. You do what? Enjoy good men. I have done all this with good motives,
15. I have done all these with good what? Good motives. But most of us now, we are doing it so that God can say thank you to us. If God does not say thank you, God will become your enemy. And watch that person, if that thank you does not come, he will stop doing whatever he was doing.
16. He is only doing it for him to be noticed and if he does not get that recognition he is seeking, that work must stop. If he is sweeping fellowship for the pastor to see him, if the pastor does not thank him for two Sundays or three Sundays, he will not sweep anything again. Because what he or she wants to gain in doing that thing, he did not get it again.
17. So that is why God said if you like suppress your feelings, suppression of feelings can only last for a while. God must put up a condition, put up something, stir up a matter that must force your colour to come out.
18. That is why God does not make mistakes, he told us this thing that we should get ready to hear different stories, that, that is why he restored everybody that was outside.
19. That we should take note that they never changed, this is the truth I want to tell you, that is what God said. That they never changed, but He does not want the blood of anybody to be required from His own hands.
20. So, if you were outside and you were restored, do not rejoice, God is just bringing you in so you can amend your ways because there is still time. God is saying they never changed, they might take another tactic, take another form. That is why God said we should know the devices, the tricks of the enemy.
21. I know my God that you test men to see if they are good, for you enjoy good men. I have done all these with good motive and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.
22. I have watched them do what? Offer their gifts willingly and joyously. I will still show us somewhere in the scripture. If you are giving willingly and joyously, pastor will not come to the pulpit to remind you, that brethren we still need this, we still need that. If you are giving willingly and joyously… In fact, go to Exodus 35 let me show you something.
23. Exodus 35, verse 1 down. Now Moses called a meeting of all the people and told them, “These are the laws of Jehovah you must obey. “Work six days only; the seventh day is a day of solemn rest,
24. chapter 36. 1-2 “All the other craftsmen with God-given abilities are to assist Bezalel and Oholiab in constructing and furnishing the Tabernacle.” So Moses told Bezalel and Oholiab and all others who felt called to the work to begin.
25. Then, Moses was building a terbanacle. It got to a point he told his followers that they should bring many things so as to support. That is what chapter 35 is talking about, but chapter 36 is where I want to point out something. Continue from verse 3.
26. Moses gave them the materials donated by the people and additional gifts were received each morning. Moses gave them what? Materials needed for the work, and what? Brethren, let us take note of this, additional gifts were presented each morning.
27. Moses gave them the materials donated by the people and additional gifts were received each morning. So, they did not stop at their contributions. Those that were giving abundantly, that still had, they always made sure, they will ask the Pastor, “how is the work going?” To make sure that this work is going on.
28. 4-7 But finally the workmen all left their task to meet with Moses and told him, “We have more than enough materials on hand now, can we now hear it, they did what? They now have more than enough, saying,
“brethren stop giving, stop giving, it is okay. The one we have now is too much, we do not know what to do with it again.”
29. Have you now seen people that are giving willingly and joyously? Out of what God has blessed them with, they are offering everything they have. Hallelujah. Go back to the one you were reading, 1st chronicles.
ASK GOD FOR A GOOD HEART
30. 18 “O Lord, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel! Make your people always want to obey you, and see to it that their love for you never changes. 19 Give my son Solomon a good heart toward God, so that he will want to obey you in the smallest detail
31. Give him what? A good heart toward God, so that he will want to obey you in the smallest detail. Our prayer is that, we should always beg God, if not for any other thing, to give us a good heart towards Him. That you will always want to obey God even in the smallest details.
32. If He says Brother Okwy stand up there, you stand up. You do not mind if He is physically there or not. If He says sit down, you sit down. That is obeying God in the smallest detail.
33. But what if you do not recognize those God has placed in authority over you and God sends them or places His words in their mouths and they tell you to sit down. Bishop says, “brother sit down, ”you will now say, “who are you to tell me to sit down, who are you to tell me this?”.
34. You have now missed the voice of God at that point in time. Because the Bishop failed to tell you that it was the Son of Man that said it. If God told him, “do not mention my name, let me know if they truly believe I was the one that instituted you there.”
35. That is why we pray saying, give me the heart to obey you in the smallest detail. Because if you have that heart, you do not need your pastor to announce to you that God said you should do this.
36. For if you believe that God has placed Him as an authority over you, and God will require your soul from him, the moment your pastor says stop there, you stop there. Repeat that area sir.
37. Give my son Solomon a good heart toward God, so that he will want to obey you in the smallest detail and will look forward eagerly to finishing the building of your Temple, for which I have made all of these preparations.”20 Then David said to all the people, “Give praise to the Lord your God!” And they did, bowing low before the Lord and the king.
38. Give praise to what? The Lord your God. So, it was because of the way they gave, because of how abundantly they gave towards the building of this temple that David made this prayer, “God, please make your people to always want to obey You.”
39. If you go back to the book of proverbs it says, “God please, help them to choose obeying God instead of making money. Have we not heard this before? All pointing to the same thing.
40. So, there is a way you will obey God, there is a way you will give yourself to God, God will make that kind of prayer on your behalf. “God please, continue to make this brother always want to obey You even in the minutest details,” because it is not easy to do the things of God.
41. It is always a struggle, that is why we have it as a song: The Lord knows all about our struggles. It is a struggle for a child of God to live 24 hours the life of Christ. That is why when you are trying to do good you see yourself doing evil, when you are trying to do evil, you see yourself doing good because you are not the one holding yourself.
Let me tell you something I know about God. God can never kill a man without first of all hardening his heart against Him. When God wants to kill a man, He will harden the heart of that man against Himself. God will close his ears that he will not hear instructions—when you see this happening, know that God is poised to destroy. I say know that God is poised to destroy.

YOU ARE CONTROLLED BY A FORCE GREATER THAN YOU
There is a power higher than you that is controlling you. If there was still time, I will show us in the book of Qur’an, that it is Allah that turns people’s hearts to Himself and also turns people’s hearts away from Him. At the same point in time, He is the one making you to obey. It is that same God making another person to disobey, so that the scriptures might be fulfilled.
2. That people must fulfill the negative side of the scripture, why must you choose to be that person? And it is not of your own making.

PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
9. 11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. That you may be able and what? Successfully to stand.
10. Not just standing but make sure you stand true till the end. We heard it today, that it is not what you were yesterday, God does not remember that. You might think you are alive for 50 years in a good way, the devil needs only one bad record to mar your good record before God.
11. The devil just needs that unguided moment, the moment is not up to a second or an hour, that is why it is called unguided moment. It is not close to a second and it will mar that good record you have been building all these years.
12. That is why God said we should stand up. If the devil comes out physically and tells the pastor that this is the devil, the pastor must avoid him. That is why God said stand up against the strategy and tricks because he can never come out fully to tell you that I am the devil.
13. He can use your wife as a minister, he can use your children, he can use anything at all just to attack you. That is why God said you should be careful about what you are raising in your family. Are you raising daughters of hellfire, landlords in hellfire, sons of hellfire or are you raising residents of heaven?
14. Because if the devil thinks he cannot get you as a man of God, I bet you he will use your family. If you can resist the temptation from your wife and from your children, you can win God’s commendation because this is the only way he can succeed in ruining your record before God.
15. That record you have been building as a young man before you got married, he will use the children to destroy all. Stir up God’s spirit in them.
16. I hope we are not praying that we should go to heaven alone, I hope we are making it clear for our families.
17. Because if you are not making it clear for your family, that is why the bible said that two will be on the bed, one will be carried and the other left.
18. If you do not want that situation to occur, that same belief, that same courage, that same faith you have in the Son of Man, make sure your wife and children are standing fully behind you.
19. You know when you stay close to God, you will be able to understand messages from God. God said there is something in a wife standing behind your husband and standing beside your husband. Note my words. There is a difference in a wife standing behind her husband and standing beside her husband.
20. When a wife is standing beside her husband, there are definitely two gods, two parties and then there will be two followers. If they have 3 children, one may be with the wife, two might be with their father and if it is that way, God does not recognize the other party.
21. God recognizes only the man and who is standing behind the man because God placed the man as the head of every family and if you are standing beside, it means that you are holding your own reasons, you will always insist that your own way must be done first before your husband’s own or it will not work.
22. But if you are standing behind, you are standing on Amen Lord. So if you do not understand anything today as a wife, understand that you are either standing behind or beside your husband.
23. And note, when you are standing beside, there is always something that can pull you away; there is every chance that you can fall away very easily because you do not have any support again.
24. But if you are standing behind, your hand can be placed on the shoulder and with that he can hold you in case something wants to pull you out. How many of us understand this spiritually?
25. So, there is every need if you are following God, follow God spiritually, follow God spiritually or else you are bound to lose your life. That is why God said that there is no more excommunication, he will only mark you and allow you to sit down to continue following God like that.
26. So my brethren, what I am saying is that we should stand up against the devices and tricks of the devil. Because the devil can never fight you just like that, you must have been porous that is why the devil will begin to fight you. True or false?
27. Your life, even as a child; you must have been porous for the devil to use you. If you are not diligent to know the state of your family, that is when the devil can begin to use your daughter, use your son to spearhead a war in your family which you cannot control.
SUSTAIN YOUR FAMILY
GOOD RECORD
28. So brethren, know the teachings you are laying down in your family. In as much as we are pointing out that we are going to heaven, begin to type the family messages down to your families.
29. Most of our children do not understand what it takes to be in this great family of God. A seed of God does not make a habit of sinning.
30. “Let me go and try and know if anything will happen.” A true seed of God, a true child born in a family, the first thing that will come to your mind is the reputation of your family.
31. That is why if you see where your father is being rebuked, you will come back and say; “what are you doing to my father?”
32. You must always put the interest of your family first. Brethren are we getting the message? You should uphold the interest of God first, children born in a family, uphold the interest of your family first.
33. That is why God said that parents should from time to time; take time to tell their children their personal experiences in this faith. What we believe, if they should go and live contrary to the teachings of this message, tell them how you struggled, how you believed in God and got to the level you are in Christ today.
34. That I am an elder in this faith does not mean I woke up one morning and became an elder, God saw something in me, if he does not see it in my daughter, if he does not see it in my son, God can take this position from me because God said that every minister, He will save you according to the ministry you are occupying.
35. If you do not make full proof of your ministry, God can never save you. If you take your time to tell your children this, “this position I did not get it on a platter of gold, and your mother, that is my wife. Look at what it takes to be the family of a servant of God. He that is born in this type of family does not make a practice of sin.”
WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST
FLESH AND BLOOD
36. Ephesians chapter 6. 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
37. This present darkness there are the people that are the rulers of it. There are the people they are warring with. Bro Lucky use the book of Qur’an, get me Surah chapter 15 verses 35 through 41, let me show you the reason why the devil cannot leave you alone as children of God, why he is working hard every day to make sure he must put you out from God’s book of record.
38. 35“And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).”36. [Iblis (Satan)] said: “O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected.”37. Allah said: “Then, verily, you are of those reprieved, 38.”Till the Day of the time appointed.”39. [Iblis (Satan)] said: “O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all.
39. For you misled me, I shall adorn the part of error to all mankind and verily, I shall mislead them all. Can you now see why you are always at war, why there is always a struggle to live that Godly life, for the devil has sworn within him just as God has sworn too and look at what God told him,
40. 40“Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them. “Except what? Your chosen guided slaves. So you must be a slave to Almighty God for you to escape this. Who is a slave? A slave is one that does everything the master says. You must be a slave; you must swear allegiance to God for you to avoid being in this group.
41. 41(Allah) said: “This is the Way which will lead straight to Me.”God now said it that those my guided slaves, they are walking in a way which will lead straight to me.
42. All those that have given themselves to be immersed by this word of God that is revealed today that they are the only ones that are walking in a way that will lead to paradise.
43. Certainly, you shall have no authority over my slaves except those who will follow you of the devil. Stop there, as far as you are a child of God, the devil has no hand in whatever that is happening to you, whatever condition you are going through, God has purposed in his heart that you must have that condition for he wants to achieve something in you, believe it if you want.
44. That the devil has no hand, no authority in the life of a child of God. That whatever condition I find myself, you find yourself that God has permitted it to happen so that he can wrought out something in me.
45. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents. Brethren are you sleeping? Contending with what? When the minister went to the pulpit, he said that he wants this fellowship to be responsive, so I want to carry everyone along in whatever we are reading so as to make sure that we are having a bigger understanding.
46. We have read this scripture over time and done many arguments with it but today, I want you to give it to your heart so that you can understand what God decided to say from it.
47. 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
48. 13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
49. And we are living in that evil day. That is why God told us that the world living around you are under the power and control of Satan. I do not care who that person is, as long as the person is not believing the same faith with you, I don’t care what that person offers you as a gift, he is under the power and control of the devil. He can never give you any advice or suggestion that can help you to win God’s commendation.
50. Watch every advice you have gotten from your heathen friends or relatives; they are all advice that will land you in one problem or the other.
51. 13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Having done this, hold your ground, then stand still and see the salvation of God come through.
52. 14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,
53. With the place we read in 1st Chronicles, we saw where God said he test the heart of men to see if they are good and you delight in people of integrity. That God delights in people of integrity.
54. 15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the [a]firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness [b]produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of [c]saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [d]wields, which is the Word of God.

SANCTIFY THE NAME OF GOD BEFORE THE HEATHENS
All these things they have been calling is just one thing which is the word of God. When you arm yourself with this word of God, I am telling you there is no temptation, no pressure you cannot surmount. That you committed sin is because you forgot, wait let me read it before you. If you go to the message SPIRITUAL MATURITY VOL 1, I am reading from page 114, verse 51-65.
2. If you are a child of God, let me tell you, you cannot commit sin until you have forgotten who you are. A child of God can never fall into sin no matter how great that temptation is until he has forgotten who he is.
3. When you forget that you are a child of God and your faith is the most holy faith and that your faith in Christ is the highest calling you cannot fall into temptation.
4. God said it is your holy and high calling and the bible said you are an ambassador of Christ. As a child of God, you must always live your life so that God will be constantly glorified.
5. You can never reproach the name of God one bit, constantly every day. If you come back today you use the word of God and weigh your life throughout the day in the school, did I do anything that offended God? You weigh yourself using what? The word of God.
6. You do not need your pastor, your minister, your father or mother to tell you what you are doing is wrong. That is why I love this faith, as long as you are born in this faith or you are a member of this faith, God has brought us up to the point where you do not need a minister to tell you where you are doing wrong.
7. That a minister is calling your name is merely because he just wants to tell you, not that you do not know what you are doing.
8. That a minister is calling you is because he just wants to make sure that before God, he has done what he should do as a minister. Not that the individual or the brother does not know what he is doing. Amen.
9. You must always sanctify the Name of God in the eyes of the heathens, you will never allow the Name of God to be reproached because of your character. And as a child of God, you should always know that the eyes of the Lord are always upon you, that there is no place you will hide yourself that God cannot see you.
10. As a child of God, you should always know that the eyes of God are always upon you. This is confirming the place we are reading, that we should arm ourselves, build yourself with this word of God.
11. Pray at all times. Do what? Pray at all times. Do what? Pray at all times. Did God say you should find a convenient time to pray? That is Amplified right? Do we have Living Bible or Good News Bible? Verse 18, read.
12. Pray all the times, ask in line with his teachings. LB.
13. Do all these in prayer, asking for God’s help. GNB Do what? Do all these in prayer, arming yourself, obeying God. God said, do all of these in prayer. Asking for God’s help. Asking for what? God’s help, because if you do not seek for God’s help, you can never make it on your own.
14. That is why God said if you think you are the one holding yourself, that He will give you a minute, He knows something that He will just say, not something He will do, something He will say that will make your heart to start boiling and you will blaspheme God immediately.
15. That is why there is every need for us to pray for God’s help, “God give me the deeper understanding, open the eyes of my revelation so that I will begin to see things the way you are seeing it.”
16. It is lack of proper understanding that makes us to act the way we are acting. If most of us had known this truth, and read this 1st Chronicles and seen it in this light, there is no way we would not give abundantly towards the things of God.
17. And if after hearing it, your attitude does not change, it then goes to show that you are not a seed of God, you are that poisonous root among us. That is why God said that there is every need for us to come together to review ourselves in line with the word of God.
18. Then God said yesterday, Pastor, that every third Saturday of the month, Enugu will gather here for fellowship, that is the message for everybody. If you are a member of Enugu household, every third Saturday of the month, you are going to gather here for fellowship.
19. So that we can talk to ourselves as a household because most of the time we travel to Jerusalem. There is no longer Wednesday, there is no midweek service, we do not see ourselves again. Let us harness our problems as Enugu.
DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM
YOUR PROBLEMS
20. Running away from your problem cannot solve your problem. That is why the Pastor in Onitsha had the revelation and God approved it, that every third Saturday they gather. God said that if you do not know what to be done on that Saturday, you should call the Pastor in Onitsha and liaise with him, he will give you what he always does.
21. That is the only way the unity of the faith will be kept, that is the only way we will continue to march and enter paradise as a household.
22. Pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season, in the spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty. In every season, and what? On every occasion.
23. They said the Muslims make prayers five times in a day, and the Jews make prayers three times in a day.
24. How often do you, as a child of God, one that is privileged to be acquainted with the very God Himself, how often do we then pray? No matter how hot the sun is or how heavy the rain is, you see the Muslim pitching a tent there, kneeling down and bowing down before God.
25. And we as individuals, what is our excuse? Our work, our family, our children. And God said that there is no reasonable excuse before God, there is nothing you can say that can justify you for not having or doing this.
26. God said, pray in season and out of season. In every occasion. Is there any prayer that is too much? They will tell you, you have prayed too much, “Daddy it is okay, every time you are praying.”
27. There is no prayer that is enough to save your soul. If you do not know, we are living in an untoward generation. If you do not know what to pray, kneel down and pray for your brethren. You will still see it there. That I should keep praying, also remember your brethren in the same like precious faith, because too many things are happening.
28. Your children are going to school; you do not know the spirit they are contacting there. You have your children in the Universities, you do not know what is going on there.
29. What did Job do? Job knelt down and he made sacrifices for each of his children. Oh no, I do not want us to go to that book of Job.
30. He mentioned each of his children and made a sacrifice, using a lamb for each of them for the atonement of their sins. “Peradventure, God accept them for I do not know what they are doing. Peradventure they are doing this, they are doing that. Please, for my sake forgive them.”
31. Because you can attract the wrath of God, only one person in your family can attract the wrath of God. God can use, because of the sin of your daughter; the wrath of God will befall your family.
32. What befell the family of Eli was the sin of his children. The sins of Eli’s children made the wrath of God to fall on that family, not sparing anybody in that family.
33. So, if you do not know what to pray, kneel down and pray for your children, pray for yourself, pray for your children because the world you are living in is very dark.
34. You heard it today that this Dark Age is controlled by the devil. Go to 2nd Timothy chapter 3, you will see the signs of the end, you will see them fulfilling right in our own eyes
